But uh, turns out that the wholedeal with the kitos is that they

sacrifice them to this snakeyokai, but the great serpent
itself is actually a kurigare, aMongolian death worm, this giant
man-eating earthworm cryptidthat's been fed for 200 years,
and the keto's revered it as agod, but the overgrown earthworm

ended up eating the boss of theketo.
Think about that too.
So it would have been funny ifthey're like, Oh, that's it,

psychic wave uh the purigari isemitting, compelling the two
into um bubbling themselves.
And Gigi is only unaffectedbecause of the Evil Eye, who has

We get back through on Evil Eye,how he was just a child deprived
of social activity, beingstarved and sacrificed by the
kidos, being burned alive, andit became a ghost that
accidentally caused a lot ofpeople to commit bubbling
themselves, uh, leaving a bunchof kids orphaned and doomed to

the same fate as Evil Eyehimself, even that one kid with
the ball cuts where, like, Idon't want that.
It's like, listen to me, listento me, and then eventually, kind
of like, I guess that's theavatar for evil eye.
Uh, even though evil eyeactually has like white hair and
like red eyes or whatever, butthat's what's happening.
Uh Gigi deduces that Evil Eyeisn't all bad and bonds with the

spirit, but evil eye takescontrol of Gigi's body and makes
a vow to kill all humans.
So that kind of backfired, butwe'll get to that.
Like he he kind of levels up umlater on in the uh season, but
we'll get to that.
Now, as Seiko alluded to, Gigiis a genius, but he's a late

bloomer when it comes tospiritual power, and with him
being athletic as well, Gigimakes the ideal vessel for evil.
It's kind of like imagineTsukuna was like, hey, you know
what?
They were right.
Yuji was the perfect vessel forme.
I should have just stayed in hisbody.
Imagine a villain that outside,hey, yo, this is actually the

come up and they just get driedout in the sun and whatnot

And Momo tried to deal withthat, but the Kitos kept
interfering before Evo Eyeappeared.

Uh with the combined effort ofthose guys, they were able to
capture Evil Eye by concealinghim within Taro's hollow body.

And most of the Kitos gotarrested except for the leader,
who revealed to be at that Ithink all of them are
subterraneans, and they're aboutrevenge on Molo.
So uh with that being said,Nara, how'd you feel about that
first chunk of the season?

I I just when when um evil eye was inside the you
know the tom what's what's theatomical model's name again?
The the anatomical model guy.

named Kenta appears.

With Kinta, he's set up to bethe kind of character that we

psychic hands, and then Okaroonwas holding on to Ira, and Ira

Um, and then Momo's like, Oh,you don't got anything else you

And there was like this cutemoment over to Ira's like, Wait,

Uh and it's like just trying toruin a good moments, like they

back and forth.

know once again Okaroon and Momois the OTP, but give Ira credit

shot, where Momo's like, youknow, she has feelings for
Okaroon, but it's more like shewas kind of fighting her
