What happens when you give a sleepy, unbothered teenager the power to kill anything—and I mean anything—with a single thought? "My Instant Death Ability is So Overpowered" answers this question with a fascinating twist on the isekai genre that breaks every power scaling convention in anime.

We dive deep into the world of Yogiri Takato, who somehow sleeps through his class's transportation to another world, missing out on the magical abilities bestowed upon his classmates. But Yogiri doesn't need their flashy powers—he possesses something far more terrifying: the ability to instantly kill anything he wants with a mere thought. Dragons, gods, ghosts, reality warpers, even beings from other dimensions—nothing can escape his power. What makes this series stand out isn't just the absurdly overpowered protagonist, but how it handles such a character. Unlike typical power fantasies, Yogiri is remarkably calm and uninterested in domination. He simply wants to be left alone and return home with his companion Tomochika.

The most compelling aspect of this series is how it subverts expectations about power and corruption. While Yogiri's classmates immediately abandon their humanity when given abilities, becoming selfish and cruel, the person with the most devastating power remains ethically grounded. Through Yogiri's journey, we explore a world where magical users exploit those without powers, creating a thought-provoking commentary on how power affects human nature. We also uncover Yogiri's mysterious origins as "Alpha Omega," suggesting he might be an eldritch god in human form.

Have you ever wondered what would happen if one character had an ability that breaks every power scale in anime? Listen to our full breakdown and let us know which anime characters you think could stand a chance against instant death!

Speaker 1 (00:01):
all right, what up, gang?
Let's talk about my instantdeath ability is overpowered,
blah, blah, blah.
We just call it instant deathability because I'm not I'm not
in the mood to say all that like.
That's crazy with anime thesedays where, like anime, titles
are like a full sentence andwhatnot.
But anyways, let's talk aboutinstant death ability.

(00:24):
It's about a kid who's awakeningto absolute chaos and carnage
while on a school trip, yogiriTakato discovers that everyone
in his class has beentransported to another world and
he has somehow managed to sleepthrough the entire ordeal
himself, missing out on the giftpowers bestowed upon the others
by a mysterious sage cyan orcyan, excuse me who appeared to

(00:49):
transport them.
Even worse, he and anotherclassmate, tomochika danora,
were ruthlessly abandoned bytheir friends, left as bait to
distract a nearby dragon and, although not terribly bothered
by the thought of dying, hereluctantly decides to protect
his lone companion.

(01:09):
And after all, a lowly level1000 monster doesn't stand a
chance against his secret powerto invoke instant death with a
single thought, if he can stayawake long enough to bother
using it.
That is now.
I have notes about this one.
Not a whole lot, but I havenotes.
But before I even get into allthat.

(01:30):
Kogayasu, since you're the mainone who wanted to review this
anime, what made you want toreview this series?

Speaker 2 (01:39):
Alright, so y'all get to listen to some other reviews
.
I've been doing a couple soloreviews.
I've been saying I've beenfrustrated because Hulu just
keeps sending me isekais overand over again and I'm tired of
the normal, damn fucking isekais.
I want something a little bitdifferent.
And this one it's pretty muchlike them other regular isekais.
However, there's one littleaspect here that's different,

(02:02):
that makes this one a bit moreinteresting to everybody else,
and that's this motherfucker'sinstant death ability.
And how overly fucking broken.
This shit is Like we have allthese debates for it.
They're like, oh, this animecharacter is more powerful than
this one.
It's like, oh, but they're indifferent universes.
What would happen if theycrossed over and all that type

(02:24):
of shit and come across amotherfucker whose ability is so
goddamn powerful?
He is literally the end ofexistence across all anime
universes and that's just pointblank, period.
There is no argument about thisshit.
That's what kind of got meinterested in it.
Because I was like what thefuck?

(02:47):
I watched the YouTube clip andthe YouTube clip was how he just
like straight up barked thefucking dragon.
It was like die now, alright.
So what was the issue?
What was going on?
That was the issue.
Oh, I guess I took care of thatnow, didn't I?
And he's like so fuckingnonchalant about shit.

Speaker 1 (03:07):
Right.

Speaker 2 (03:08):
It's hilarious as hell.
It reminded me a lot of PsycheK, because in Psyche K he's like
also like more overpowered thanhis verse.
But this was also a little bitdifferent because it's not just
his verse, it's all verses, likeeverything.
Dude took a reality, tworeality warpers we're gonna get
some.
But two reality warpers.

(03:28):
Both of them was like oh hell, nah, I can't kill this
motherfucker, and their job isto just warp reality to be
whatever the fuck they wanted tobe.
And they were like nah, I can'tkill this motherfucker, this
dude is powerful like this iswhat type of shit, I feel you on
that one I was like dude, thisis powerful, like this is what
type of shit.

Speaker 1 (03:47):
I feel you on that one.
And when I was watching thisanime I was just thinking how
crazy it is how he Takato is thecalm, cool and collected type
that's smarter than you wouldexpect.
Kind of like Shikamaru fromNaruto in a way, to where he
kind of like like thinks thingsa little bit through, but not
like very strategic, but morelike okay, he did put some

(04:10):
thought into certain things orhe kind of think of things from
a logical standpoint.
Now, his instant death abilitynot only does it does the
obvious, but he can target bodyparts.
And the secondary condition ofkilling anyone instantly when
they have the attempt to kill isgreat for defense but

(04:30):
terrifying when you think aboutit.
And it got even crazier whenyou find out later on in the
series he's known as alpha, omega, like this project where
he's like this unstoppablekilling machine.
But he's just outside of that.
He's just a normal dude, likeyou know.
He's just trying to, you know,be chill, you know trying to do

(04:53):
his thing, but things just keepcoming along and he has to deal
with it.
So he's like one of thosereactive protagonists where
ultimately he just wants to makesure that he and Donora gets
back To their original world andjust Continue living life
normally.
So it's like, outside of thathis ability, he's just a normal

(05:16):
dude.
But when he goes through thesedifferent Phases like when they
say that, oh, the first Phasehas been unlocked, or phase two
and whatnot, and then hisability starts evolving to a
point to where he can straightup like he can kill whoever you
see.
So in other words, he can liketreat you like his own eyes and

(05:42):
whatnot, and whatever you see,he can be like all right, kill
this person.
It's like it's almost like.
I don't even take a step furtheron that too.
It's kind of like a mix ofhaving a Geass and the Death
Note at the same time.

Speaker 2 (06:00):
Yeah, exactly, yes, yes, I was literally thinking
that shit, but I would say evena step further into this shit
too, because of the fact that itmatters.

Speaker 1 (06:08):
Oh, are you using a different mic?
Because you sound a little likeyou're.
You sound like you're away fromyour mic.

Speaker 2 (06:15):
No, I'm using the same mic, man.
That's all technology.
Hold on, I'm using the exactsame mic that I've been using.
What the hell?

Speaker 1 (06:25):
I mean I can hear you , it's just more like.
It's not like, not as muchvolume as I'm used to.
That's why I didn't get help ornotice.
Is that better?
Wait?

Speaker 2 (06:38):
Yeah, there it is there, it is.
I'm literally, I didn't evenswitch my mic Like I didn't do
anything.
I was gonna take knowledge andget on my nerves Anyway.
No, I'm literally.
I didn't even switch my micLike I didn't do anything.
Stop going to take knowledgeand get on my nerves Anyway.
No, yes, I was learning tothink in that, though, like
Geass and Death Note, but I alsowould take it like a step
further too, because this dudeis able to, like he can kill you
by killing your clone type shit, like you could make a clone,

(07:01):
like because when old girl didthat shit, when she had the
vampire, which, when she hadmade that clone, she didn't make
different clones of herself, has one in a whole different
dimension and shit, and hekilled a clone and killed every
fucking clone and the main bodyin a completely different
dimension.
It was like wait what?

Speaker 1 (07:29):
Yeah, like, see, that's why I'm saying that it's
like it works in the obvious way, but there's like more to it,
to where it's almost like what Ilove about it, okay.
Okay, that's the thing.
It's like this ability is sobroken that that's the main
thing I like about this series, where this is pouring on all

(07:50):
different applications that hecan use it, because, of course,
if he just does it the usual way, the obvious way, then the
series will be even worse for it.
So I just like the differentapplication that he can use his
ability.
But outside of that, like, Ilike how, just like how we
review undead on love to where, okay, you have this one person

(08:15):
who's like undead, like he'simmortal, he can't die and he'll
just keep regenerating andwhatnot.
Meanwhile, you have anotherprotagonist who's so well, she's
not unlucky, it's just whoevertouches her becomes unlucky, and
it really depends on thecontent and how much you like
the person.
So it's like you have thisability and you're thinking okay

(08:40):
.
On its own, I can see how it isuseful or terrifying, but the
different applications behind itmakes it even more terrifying.
Almost like the Omnitrix, whereyou know thinking like okay,
with the 10 aliens and whatnot, but you're thinking like, okay,
it actually has millions ofaliens in there.
So you're like wondering, okay, what all can he do with that

(09:01):
watch?

Speaker 2 (09:03):
So it just makes you curious about the full scope of
it all oh, definitely, and Ithink also the thing about it
too is the fact that he's alsosuch a intense.
He has this intense power tohim is what is apparently just
so well known in the universe initself, and I even like to buy
people, but then, with the otherreality warping, with the girl

(09:24):
and her fucking busted-assability of just saying that
don't make sense to me, and thenyour ability.
Owie, that power pissed me thefuck off.
I was like so if it don't makesense to you, you can just say
it don't work and that's justyour.
That's some bullshit.
Even Deuce said it.
He was like that's somebullshit.

Speaker 1 (09:51):
That's, and that's just your.
That's some bullshit.
Even dude said he's like that'sa bullshit.
But no see, here's my thing.
Here's one of my main gripesabout the whole series.
To where it's, it's forgivablefor a series to have a fast pace
, but what I didn't like was thewhole series.
It felt like it was so low tono stakes at all, like think
about it.
Like aoi, this assassin that hasthat ability, was assigned to
kill on takato.

(10:11):
But as soon as she rolled up onyou're like all right, let me
get a good assessment of you boy.
And then she saw all that shitlike the cracking and whatnot.
This dude, this boy, builtdifferent.
Uh uh.
She ran so far Away from thatdude.
You know Talking about thatdude, like in this white voice,
uh uh, y'all didn't tell meabout him.
Y'all didn't tell me he wasbuilt like that.

(10:33):
Y'all didn't tell me All thatshit.
She was like Freaking out andwhatnot.
And I'm like, god damn, like, see, it was like with all those
different threats between Lane, the vampire Mana, the dark god's
sister, the dark god himselfand whatnot, it's like you have
all these different threats andhe's like all he has to do is
just look at him and I'm like, yeah, you're done, you're cooked

(10:55):
, pack it up, you're finished.
And I'm like at some point I'mlike, ah, ah, man, how can I put
this?
It's like one punch man towhere you're just waiting for
the main protagonist to show up.
That's it.

Speaker 2 (11:12):
You're really just waiting for him to show up
remember that was the wholepoint of the one punch man video
game was that you would playagainst these, we would play
with these other characters, andyou had a time limit to fight,
and by the time at the end ofthe time limit, one punch
Saitama showed up, one punch thefight was over, and so it was
like whoever had the most healthat the end before he showed up,

(11:32):
was the one that won the fight, right.

Speaker 1 (11:36):
Now see, with one punch man, I give it more credit
because not only is it superhilarious with the execution of
it all, but it's not always like, oh, he kills everybody, he
punches.
Like.
There was that one guy fromOuter Space I think it was Boros
or something like that butthere was like other people who

(11:57):
were like okay, he has got tolike try a little bit.
And I'm like, okay, okay, cool, cool, cool.
So it's not like he'scompletely steamrolling through
everybody, but so far takato islike I'm like there's, there's
really not a fight, like notmuch, there's no stakes.
I'm like you just gotta say thewords and like you're done and

(12:20):
that's.

Speaker 2 (12:20):
And I still also love the fact that he's like
reserved about using his ownability.
And I still also love the factthat he's like Reserved about
using his own ability.
Where old guy's like, yeah, soyou just kill, he's like, okay,
I'm not a mass murderer.

Speaker 1 (12:29):
Now, yeah, like that would kind of piss me off.
To where I'm like you, youtreating that boy like oh, he
loves doing this.
You're like no Dog, like I justdon't Want to be fucked with.
That's really what it comesdown to.
Just like what you said WithKuso's sidekick.
To where I'm like hey bro, Ijust want to chill, I just want

(12:49):
a little normal life.
I don't want to be bothered andy'all just keep showing up and
getting in my way.
So I'm like all right, I got toend it, you know.
So this is like he's not likethis mass murderer, like he's
not like a psycho killer, likeBuddy from Soul of Level, you
know that one, the prisoner arts, where he was offering like

(13:13):
millions of yen to kill thoseprisoners, for you know things
going wrong with that onemission, and Buddy was looking
like real menacing, talkingabout see, I would have done for
free but might as well get paidanyway, right?

Speaker 2 (13:33):
yeah, what would you say, like even worse, about?
Um, because there was this oneanime I can never remember the
name of it, but it was one animewhere these two dudes were
adopted by aliens and wereexperimented on it because, like
, the aliens accidentally hitthem with their spaceship, so
you took the two guys and gavethem like special alien robotic
bodies and stuff and gave thempretty much the ability to do

(13:55):
whatever they wanted, and one ofthem, like the old man, kind of
just laid low and chilled out,but then the young kid went on a
murderous killing spree, usinghis power just to fucking kill
everybody, just because hefucking could and shit.

Speaker 1 (14:08):
And I was just like what's like that?
One means where oh, we gotsuperpowers, now, bro, now he'll
be superhero bright.

Speaker 2 (14:15):
And then bro is like nah, that's not the path I'm
going down, yeah so it's like heis not like that, like he's, he
has the ability to kill theworld, literally that if you try
to do anything against him itdoesn't work because his

(14:35):
defensibility is just even thepoint that he tells you hey,
hold on, hold on, I don't wantto kill you by mistake, don't
attempt to kill me, it's notgonna work.
And you're like bro, becauseold girl's ability was like I
don't want to kill you bymistake, don't attempt to kill
me, it's not going to work.
And you're like bruh, becauseold girl's ability was just
bullshit, it just made me mad.
But then the other dude'sability with the book.
His ability is literally torewrite the reality to his favor

(14:57):
.
So you saw him do it with someof the other classmates where
it's like, okay, if he has timeto read this book and see what's
going on, he could rewrite thereality because okay, oh,
they're about to find me and I'mgonna die.
Oh, nope, I don't like thatreality, let's rewrite that.
And he just rewrites thereality to be whatever he wants.
And then he kept trying to doit so good.

(15:19):
And then he kept getting madbecause he's like what's going
on?
It's like every single time Itry to kill him.
It says that I die.
And then it just kept goingover and over and over again
with him trying until, like thelast time, it said your
resurgence has realized that hemade a mistake.
What?
Yeah, he shows up, die now, andit's like what the fuck?

Speaker 1 (15:38):
It's crazy.
It's all like, bro, youliterally had the death right in
your hand and all you reallyhad to do was just run away
because, like, he just had tolike see you in order to kill
you.
Well, the ability was at thattime I don't know if he was in
phase two just yet.
But like, bro, like if youdon't want to die, just run away

(15:58):
.
But then again, like I don'tknow, like maybe he would have
died regardless because uh,dragon bitch was on a rampage.
I mean, I kind of get itbecause you know, we saw she
died and she was actually alive, but she turned out to be an
android, she ate some dragonmeat.
And now she became like halfdragon bitch, like, okay, you

(16:22):
suffered serious damage.
You can wait a while to make afull recovery, or you can use
Dragon Heal and just end upbecoming a dragon.
But don't worry, you can makelittle clones of yourself that
have your likeness there.
But yeah, you'll justpermanently become a dragon and
she's like whatever, it's a heal, me and she's just, you want

(16:44):
whatever it takes to kill herclassmate, that uh abandoned her
and I'm like I, I guess I kindof get it because you know, at
this point.
It's kind of how it is in anime, to where, oh, you gotta ban by
your people.
Uh, all right, revenge plot,I'm gonna come kill them.

(17:04):
And I'm like I don't know aboutthat personally, but at this
point that's just a normal tropeto where some characters just
go on a revenge plot to try tokill them all.
So I'm like, okay, I guesswe're just taking a, I mean, and
like she was the mc, sowhatever.
Uh, she ends up dying anywaybecause, like, once again,
talking to, all they had to dowas show up and he was like, hey

(17:26):
, who's that?
I'm like, wait, who are allthose people?
Like wait, why do they looklike Ahinomiya?
I'm like, oh, they areAhinomiya and there's a dragon
there.
That's the funny part, that wasthe ironic part, like where
it's like like they didn'treally recognize that she became

(17:46):
a full dragon in the process.
So that was like kind of sadpart, to where they didn't know
that the real shinomiya became a, or you know, it's like, just
goes what I was saying, so maybethey didn't even have to say it
.
So, either way, just kind offunny that she ends up dying
anyway.
So like, once again, crazy howAll that shit can go down, but

(18:09):
all he had to do Is just show up.

Speaker 2 (18:16):
That was crazy, but um there's two main things I
want to give a chance to talkabout in this anime.
I mean, it's like you said, theplot is very quick.
First thing about it is Iabsolutely enjoyed how he was
experimenting with his deafability to find out if he could
kill just certain body parts.
I felt bad, so bad for thatdamn bandit, because he was like

(18:37):
all right, you try one.
He said die now.
Oh dang, no, I didn't.
I wasn't specific enough.
It killed him entirely.
No, that's not what it meant.
Um, okay, die your leg, leftleg.
Ah, there we go right leg.
Yeah, there we go right arm, left arm.
Okay, we're doing good.
It's like oh my god, just killme, kill me.
What are you doing?
He's gonna kill you.

Speaker 1 (18:57):
I just wanted to check out something like you
know how we have this runninggag of anime being like the next
game of thrones with their killcount.
To where, like, don't get it,don't, don't get attached to
this character.
Where, like bro, really like I,the whole time I was watching

(19:19):
this anime.
To where I'm like, okay, someof the characters that look like
, okay, you look plain enough.
To where I don't imagine youbeing in the story for very long
, so I can imagine you beingkilled off, but then you be
introduced.
That's the thing.
Like you have all thesecharacters with all these name
cards and you're expecting me togive a damn about every single

(19:41):
one of them, but I don't knowwhich one's going to die.
So I'm like I might as well notbe attached to any of them.
So it's like, okay, as far as Iknow, main character dude, main
character bitch, and maybe someof her, their friends, maybe
some of their friends, andoutside of that, who knows who
else is gonna fight the dust.

(20:01):
I thought Fatty Takes was gonnadie but ironically he keeps
surviving.
But I guess he needs a runninggag in that too.

Speaker 2 (20:11):
I swear to God, I wanted him to die so bad.
I'm like why the hell is hestill alive, man?

Speaker 1 (20:16):
Of all people, right.
But speaking of which, therewas this one dude, Linnell.
I thought he was funny becausehe's the kind of unlucky that
you expect to happen.
It's not like Foucault fromUndead Unlucked, where he makes
everybody else unlucky.
This dude like oh my god, itwas just spectacular, His luck

(20:43):
was Thing is he gets theseapology stones the way like oh
yeah he can like heal himself,so that way yeah, yeah, the
gotcha grab thing whereessentially he can like go
through all this misfortune butokay, it's fine.
Like he got armor, he gotapology stones, so he'll be fine

(21:03):
.
It's just shit's gonna happento him.
He got apology stones, so he'llbe fine.
It's just shit's just gonnahappen to him.
Next thing, you know, thesecond time, not the first time
the goddess were like, uh, shegave him some bullshit to where,
like damn, I was all theseapology stones for nothing.
But then the second time wasworse because, oh, it come to
find out that she wanted the endof humanity as well.

(21:25):
So she was pretty much usingLanelle like a pawn because she
was thinking like, oh, you're sounlucky that you, ironically,
give me everything I wanted.
I was like, damn, imagine beingso unlucky that you have caused
the end of humanity.
And I'm like, yeah, that soundsabout right.

(21:46):
I thought that was funny.
So that's why I'm saying Like, with instant death ability as a
series, I don't hate it too much, because there was something
that was like Fairly funny, likeI'll give it to Tuck when he
Wanted to watch him review thisanime he was in.
It was funny.
It was kind of not that funny, calm down.

(22:06):
It was funny here and there, but Calm down, but uh, I thought
that was funny.
What got on my nerve a littlebit Was With Dinora.
Dinora, she's Like this Hotheaded, loud mouth typeora.
She's Like this Hot-headed,loud-mouthed type girl and she's

(22:29):
from this Denora school ofarchery and trains in mixed
martial arts and Multiple skills, or Sosa's Moko Moko, where
it's like All these differentskills that the family knows
like oh well, that's the Denoraschool for you.
And I'm like Alright, whatever,whatever.
Anyways, like Denora, she'slike who knows?
Like, oh well, that's thedenora school for you.
I'm like all right, whatever,whatever.
Uh, anyways, like denora, she'slike become this jack of all

(22:50):
trades with the mixed martialarts, like she like see, I'm
kind of there for herdevelopment as a character,
because right now she's like themain one where I'm like she's,
she comes up kind of plain forme but at the same time like
she's developing all thedifferent skills to be a better
help to Takato.
And it's like this back andforth of maybe they will, maybe

(23:13):
they won't Like for the mostpart they're just friends, but
it's almost like it's kind ofhinting that okay, she kind of
likes Takato and maybe Takatomight like Dinora a little bit
too, but that's besides thepoint, at least for now the
thing was.
The main thing I didn't like Wasever since that one girl Put

(23:36):
the charm spell On Takato andDinora.
I had this theory.
What if that charm spell Wasstill in effect the whole time?
And that's why.
And Nora, I had this theory.
What if that charm spell wasstill in effect the whole time?
And that's why not only Togatubwas getting hit on by some
girls, like that one cat girlthat lured them into that ambush

(23:59):
when you were saying that hewas experimenting on the death
ability.
But that's probably also thereason why, every time we're
introduced to a male characterthat meets up with Togatron and
Donora All these dudes trying tocrack the bitch it's like oh,

(24:19):
come with me, donora, we canhave some fun together, you can
stay the night at my place.
It's almost like all thesedifferent men was like we can
have some fun together, you canstay the night at my place.
It's almost like all thesedifferent men was like I need to
have that woman.
I'm like I mean alright, butlike, why are you acting like?
She's so highly coveted?
Like yo, what?

Speaker 2 (24:42):
else.
That might actually Be the case, because, remember, those are
the things that we're talkingabout.
The thing, too, is that Witcheswith no Magical powers so like
humans With no magical powers Isconsidered Like high To come
across, because them two, likeit's believed that his instant
Death ability Killed the magicpower Coming to him Because it

(25:03):
would have Put him under someoneelse's control, which is
dangerous, and therefore itkilled that opportunity for him
versus and for her.
It was her ghost that wound upblocking the magical power so
she didn't become a puppet, sothat there is a thing where they
did mention that it was like oh, it's like it was your highly
sought after because you have nomagical power.

(25:23):
So it's like oh yeah, this iskind of our revenge, and that's
one of the other things I wantto talk about is the b plot,
because there is a b plot to theshow and it does make make me
mad that we don't explore itmore.
So the people with magicalpowers are overly exploiting
their powers and abusing itacross the world.

Speaker 1 (25:41):
I was gonna get to that I was gonna you to you know
.

Speaker 2 (25:44):
Okay.
So yeah, yeah, Like.
And that's where, like, itpertains further into why it is
that they keep coming after themtoo.
Because it's like, oh, youdon't have magical powers, Okay.
But obviously this kid iswalking around unscathed all the
time.
Something seems to be up andthis girl just randomly spawns a
fucking ninja suit.
I don't know, I wouldn'tnecessarily mess with them like

(26:06):
that, Something just seems a bitoff.

Speaker 1 (26:09):
Right, maybe there's a reason why they're built the
way that they're built.
Yes, let's talk about thoseother kids.
How, like, when they got powers, next thing they did that was
the crazy part Like, even onegirl said that, hey, yo, you
know what?
It never occurred to me that wecan just go back to our

(26:30):
original world, we talking.
We all thought, well, okay, while we're here, we might as
well become the next sage.
And it was like that's thething.
Like scion and the other sagesit's almost like they didn't
even have to convince those kidsenough to where, like, yeah,
yeah, become a sage.
I'm like, yeah, sure, like wegot the power and we're here, so
might as well.

(26:50):
Like, they don't even have, they didn't even plan on going
back.
Like, yeah, now that we're here, let's just stay here and
forget our parents, forget ourlives, back in our original
world.
We're just going gonna be herefrom now on.
Like, no, never occurred tothem.
It's crazy how selfish theybecame as soon as they had the

(27:11):
power, and that's why I dare sayyou know what, I don't even
feel bad for most of them dying, and that's the crazy part.
Like um shinomiya did most ofthe work because, like, yeah,
the whole revenge plot.
So I'm like, yeah, you knowwhat, I don't feel bad for you.
I I was kind of rude, of courseyou know me.
That's why I was like can'teven blame her, because these
kids were like such assholes, like abandoning um the three of

(27:36):
them to a point where I'm likeyeah, yeah, like I'm not saying
that I condone Norton Thurston'smurder, but I don't feel bad
for him.
Instead, I feel bad for him.

Speaker 2 (27:52):
Yeah, I'm kind of the same boat onto that one.
You know how I feel about thatone.
You purposely chose humanself-sacrifice and then you got
mad that the people yousacrificed decided to come back
for revenge.
I mean, that's just how thatworks, sir.
That's the circle of life, right there, the circle of
vengeance.
That's just what it is.

Speaker 1 (28:10):
After all, we did for you, like leaving you behind,
so that way they.

Speaker 2 (28:17):
We could escape.
It was just the right thing.
And then you find out who yourreal friends are, because old
girl's like you know she sworethat the other girl was her
friend and she was like, oh, sheabsolutely agreed with that.
And then runs into her again ohmy goodness, you're still alive
.
That's so awesome.
Alright, I'm gonna try to killyou now.
No, sit here and just like, smiley your face All the while

(28:42):
plotting for you Terrible, thesekids was terrible.
Smiling your face all the whileplotting for you Terrible,
these kids was terrible.
It's real shit.

Speaker 1 (28:51):
It took only five seconds for her to be like damn,
that was my friend.
Anyways, Moving forward.

Speaker 2 (28:58):
I mean, yeah, because she tried to kill your ass
twice.
She left you to die, Wasshocked that you survived.
It's like, oh okay, the dragondidn't finish the job, so I'm
going to finish the job for you,the fuck man the hell, I can't.

Speaker 1 (29:11):
I want to talk about that, oh the grand wizard,
wizardess bitch, the grand witch, that bitch right there who
gave them all their powers andshit.
No, no, no See, listen, listen,I got you on.
Leon is awkwardly scared.
She made a Dragon Ball Z jokeabout having an attack power of
five hundred thousand 503,530,000, excuse me, and she

(29:40):
killed that poor bus driver fornot laughing at the joke exactly
that was funny.

Speaker 2 (29:47):
You should have laughed.

Speaker 1 (29:48):
I'm like what I'm like.
Bitch, get the hell out of here.
Are you sure you're not themain protagonist, the main
antagonist of this story?

Speaker 2 (30:01):
We really thought she was.
Throughout the whole first andsecond season they tried to find
her.
They tried to figure out how toget to her and be like, hey, we
need you to send back to theworld and then come to find out
oh, I actually don't know how tosend you back.

Speaker 1 (30:14):
Yeah, I just did it for fun.
I thought it would be fun tofind a replacement.
Essentially, the whole point ofthem being transported and
whatnot is essentially to havesome chunk take on the place of
the sages.

Speaker 2 (30:32):
Pretty much it was like yeah, I, I gotta replenish
stages every now and again, soy'all were just there, it was up
for grabs.
And then you come to find outalso it wasn't just like a
totally random thing, like thatfucking fat nigga.
Oh, I hate that dude.
Swear to god, he should havedied already, like why, anyway?

(30:53):
But him and his posse wasalready became heroes of that
world before.
Anyway, they come to find outit's really their fault.
The sages the one took overbecause they saved the world and
they put these fucking sages incharge, left.
Then they're happy that theygot a chance to come back to the
world to see their handiwork ofsages abusing every fucking

(31:14):
body in the world.
Like what the hell?
That type of shit?
I'm sitting here like thatnigga's the problem.
He's the problem.
Kill him.
Like the hell is wrong withy'all.
It's false shit.

Speaker 1 (31:31):
It's like the umbrage effect with this guy, where
it's like you want, you reallydo not like this person, but
because of their position in thestory, it's like I know damn
well, this creator is not goingto just let this guy go until
his purpose has been fulfilled, gonna just let this guy go until

(31:53):
his purpose has been fulfilled, and it's almost like, as long
as he keeps having valuableinformation for whoever he's
tagging along with, to work with, he's like, well, I guess he's
not dying anytime soon.
It's like I just can't wait forthis dude to be useless, just
so he can just die off already.

Speaker 2 (32:13):
Man imagine hating somebody because realistically
you feel they're useless, but ohthem useful to the story this
way.
Stop making them useless.

Speaker 1 (32:24):
What's even worse, kogatsu he's a creepy healer
type and I'm sitting here likethere's an anime that I'm
repressing from my memory.
That's reminding me why am Iremembering An anime that I'm
trying to repress?

Speaker 2 (32:41):
You cannot repress that anime, man.
It is present everywhere.
Everybody has seen it.

Speaker 1 (32:52):
Yeah, so that didn't help.
But, um, what else about thisseries?
Um, um, we already talked aboutthe cat girl.
Um, the guardian angel.
Oh, this, this series Throws alot out of you as far as themes

(33:20):
like maybe not like morallessons or what not.
I mean there's more to it, butwhat I mean is it's like aliens
and zombies and what else.
What else?
I'm trying to think it wasaliens, zombies, androids,

(33:43):
demi-humans and whatnot.
It was like it reminded me ofthe first story that I was
writing and I was throwing in alot of shit like dinosaurs,
aliens and mutants and whatnot.
And the more I did that, themore I realized this is just a

(34:04):
mess, like.
It just felt like a straight upmess to me.
So I don't know, that kind ofpissed me off in that aspect
where I'm like it just feelslike they were doing a whole lot
in 12 episodes, like theystressed out the 24 episodes,
but some things breathe a littlebit.
Alright, you know, once again, with One Punch man, what I give

(34:27):
them credit for, like when theywent up against like the Deep
Sea King and whatnot, there waslike build-up towards where,
like he didn't just uh, saitamadidn't just show right away,
they maybe had to like, um, likeair it out for like one or two
episodes.
And then in the second episode, that's when, uh, saitama shows
up and do his thing, and I'mlike, okay, well, at least some

(34:51):
things kinda like had time tolike be a thing, before the main
character just breathes rightthrough it.

Speaker 2 (34:59):
I gave it that much credit very true, but they know
that Takato had was against thevampire was because, like for
her, like her, what she did wasshe had already, like, sent some
people to die by him.
So she analyzed his abilityanyway.
She just didn't know that, oh,if he killed a clone, it would

(35:21):
kill me too.
But she already kind of had agood idea of his ability and
stuff by this point, because shealso had the elf girl that was
with her after he hadrelinquished her from her master
, after he killed the masterfrom the bug.
Oh my god, the roaches, oh shit, fucking bugs was too much for
me.

Speaker 1 (35:41):
Oh god, that's a lot oh yeah, speaking of which, now
that we're talking about thevampire league, there was at one
point this one guy, tachibana, from the class that had this
ability, dominator, where he cansimply have people under his
command and whatnot, and he hadall those different girls and

(36:01):
once again he wanted to add theNora to the hero and the girls
got jealous and whatnot.
One of them Euphemia, like sheturns out to be half demon
because you know her otherfriend, her sister, the
theodicia, later on the serieswhere, okay, since they're both

(36:21):
half demons, and then, um, sheeuphemia became under lane
because you know, she was likejust having to be in the right
place at the right time, andthen she gets bitten by lane
lion and she becomes a vampireor whatnot, but eventually she
does reunite With her sister, orwhatnot.
My point being is, despiteeverything being thrown, I did

(36:46):
appreciate the blackrepresentation Nice.

Speaker 2 (36:50):
Nice, I'm right there with you, man, cause she was
well drawn, well created and awell balanced out character.
You know, she made suggestions.
She's like I don't think thatyour plan is going to work and
she's like, no, I'm just goingto give it a try.
This should work out.
I'm keeping myself a distance,I'm staying all the way over
here.

Speaker 1 (37:08):
I'm acting like a horror movie To where it's like
it's a black character, I don'tknow about this.

Speaker 2 (37:14):
And then the white person like, ah, it's fine, you
worry too much and then all of asudden they're like oh my god,
I should pay attention.
But no, like that's one of thereasons I enjoyed the anime.
Yeah, at first it's a lot, itis a lot, but then I just don't

(37:35):
get a chance to enjoy the animebecause it's like you know what?
It is a lot, but you can enjoyit for the dumb shit it is at
this point.

Speaker 1 (37:41):
Yeah, that's what I'm saying, Like, see, just like
with Undead Unlocked.
If it's like a fantasy actioncomedy, then I'll give it a.
Is it's not supposed to betaken too seriously, especially
with some of the gags that theytry to pull off, especially when
main 2 to, where it seemed likethe Norah's always like yelling

(38:02):
and whatnot, like exclamatingon whatever it is Takato's doing
, but meanwhile Takato's likeman.
I'm just trying to chill out.
It's like, yeah, takato's likethe kind of guy where he was
born to be this weapon ofdestruction, forced to be a

(38:23):
weapon of destruction, but inactuality he just wanted to deal
with reality, he just wanted toplay his little great value.
Nintendo Switch.

Speaker 2 (38:38):
Now his backstory, though, was a very I know it was
a nice touch to the anime toget a little bit of a
distraction.

Speaker 1 (38:45):
Oh yeah, with the teacher.
Like that was crazy for me, bythe way, go ahead.

Speaker 2 (38:50):
Okay, so you got this teacher.
She gets hired to try to teachhim, and so she's confused, she
doesn't know, because theyalways refer to him as it and
like the science is like.
I've never met it, I don't know.
I don't know what it looks like, I just know that it's pretty
dangerous.
But it's your job to educate.
I can't go any further.
Here you go.
And so it goes further.
She goes in, she finds out it'sa kid and she's like what the

(39:11):
fuck?
Why is there a kid locked inhere?
What's going on?
Then a shadow creature is aboutto kill her.
He kills the shadow creatureand she's like what the fuck?
What is this?
Slowly begins to find out.
Yeah, so slowly begins to findout.
Okay, so you know this kid.
He has this ability to killanything, but he doesn't

(39:31):
necessarily want to, he justkind of wants to live a normal
life.
But they're scared of him.
Okay, so she's trying what shecan.
She finds out that they're sodamn terrified.
Only robots come to give himsomething.
And let's still keep in mindthe fact this dude's ability is
so overpowered that things thatare dead can still die.
Ghosts can die, robots that arenot alive can still die and no

(39:55):
longer be powered on anymore.
That's dude's ability is againbeyond fucking broken.
Which is the name of the no nothat's the funny part.

Speaker 1 (40:03):
He has the same logic that Ali does to where he
decides if you're alive or deador whatnot.
That's the way he said it onwhen he's trying to explain to
someone else where I decide.
Whatever is alive or dead, ifyou're moving, I can see you
alive.
If you're not moving, you'redead.
So I want you like not movingdead.

(40:24):
So, even if you're a robot, even if you don't have no human
anatomy, if you're not even anorganic being, if you're moving,
I want you dead.

Speaker 2 (40:36):
And he's just like what the fuck bro?
It's just too insane.

Speaker 1 (40:41):
But then her whole thing where she winds up wanting
to leave and she's wanting tolike she wanted a different job
Nah, the scary part the scarypart, when he was escaping and
he was like looking through thecamera feed and just killing
them all, I'm like, oh shit, hedidn't see looking through the
camera feed and just killingthem all down, like oh shit,
like he can't see you throughthe camera feed and kill you
like that.

Speaker 2 (40:59):
Oh, oh, exactly because he said he could feel
their intent.
He, he felt their murderousintent.
He was like I could feel youwanting to kill me and it
instantly and it would.
It activated his instant deathability.
He's like I feel you through, Ican feel that you want to kill
me.
Look at the camera and thenthey die.
Like what the fuck?
And like that's what happenedin the other anime that I was
telling you about too, with theold dude and the young guy that
got robotic bodies from thealiens and shit is that dude

(41:21):
could see you through technology, he could see you through your
phone and shit and then kill youstraight through there.
You're like what the fuck?
And it's like yeah, I just hadthis ability to see everything
and if I could see you, I couldkill you.
That's just how it works.
Then it was nonsensical shitthat made no sense.
I was like what, what the hell?
This is bullshit.
Um, but no, yes, when he triedto escape and he's just going

(41:44):
through an old girl, she's liketell him to stop or I'll kill,
I'll kill you, type of thing.
She's like and he's like, uh,and then die, and she just falls
dead.
And the teacher's like did youdo this?
Walks through this whole, likethe entire lab of death, and she
just falls dead.
And the teacher's like, did youdo this?
Walks through this whole, likethe entire lab of death and
she's like come on, teacher, let's go home.

Speaker 1 (42:03):
Let's go home, like not too long.
You're like, yeah, yeah, starting to feel free, and I'm
like, yeah, let's go back hometeacher.

Speaker 2 (42:12):
Yeah, like goddamn home Shit.
A psychiatrist ain't enough forthis shit.
What the hell is wrong.

Speaker 1 (42:22):
I found you.

Speaker 2 (42:23):
I'm like this motherfucker imagine if she
didn't want to escape.
Imagine if you really wanted.
She never wanted to leave himpermanently, she just wanted a
vacation, that was it.
And they tried to like get herfor that.
It was like how dare you thinkthat you can leave even a little
bit?
And I was just like wait what?
Oh shit, but this, that abilityis scary, his ability is scary

(42:50):
as fuck.

Speaker 1 (42:51):
And you just like nah , nah, great, nah, you know what
?
Nah, you know what the crazypart, the real crazy part, is.
All that could have beenavoided if she had just told him
she was going on vacation.
I'll be back, don't worry, I'llbe back, but she didn't do that
.

Speaker 2 (43:08):
She didn't even get approved for it.
So that was shit to be able totell.

Speaker 1 (43:13):
Yeah.
So I'm like, can you imagine, like, oh well, if they want to
have the guy, if, because themain thing was he was like
wondering, oh, where is myteacher at?
And like she went on vacation.
Like where, where exactly isthat?
Like, oh, like, maybe the guyson the other side will tell you.
I'm like, all right, bet, hey, where's my teacher at?

(43:34):
I'm like, oh, he went onvacation.
Well, where the fuck is that?
I'm like, no, no, you bring herback here.
I'm like, okay, either youbring her back here or I'll find
her.
I'm like, what are you going todo?
I'm like, bro, are you okay?
Who are you talking to?

(43:54):
Lord, what was his name?
Like they call him somethingelse, but the whole point being
is that like pretty sure youwouldn't have him locked up if
he wasn't like capable of doingsomething.

Speaker 2 (44:06):
Mm-hmm.
Yeah, they used to call himAlpha Omega.
They were terrified of shootinghis ass.
I don't know, but I am curiouson how we're going to do for
season 2, if we are able to getone.
I haven't seen about season 2being in production.

Speaker 1 (44:21):
To be fair, this anime did come out last year, so
I would say 50% but I'mactually curious what phase 2
actually is.

Speaker 2 (44:33):
The second door has opened and it's been constantly
put around everywhere, and theonly time we actually saw
someone die because the seconddoor opened was the scientist
that the girl had wanted tobring him from the human world.
She was like I need to give yousome information about this guy
, because it's not so long, about the whole time, until all
of a sudden, okay, he actuallyseems like a threat.

Speaker 1 (44:55):
Yeah, that's the main thing With Sion.
Like keep in mind, sion chosethis person To be.
Like keep in mind, yeah, yousaid At random, but he was.
She did choose him to comealong.
So she was like, oh well, Ididn't even think this kid was
like all that, like I don't know.
But then the more shit goes onand she's like maybe I done

(45:22):
fucked up.

Speaker 2 (45:26):
All it took was that.
All it took was that otherreality, war condition.
I can't help but get a funnysuspicion that this might be my
fault old girl crying in fetalposition in a pocket dimension
is not enough to tell you weain't gonna die.
We ain't gonna die.
You brought a monster here hekilled multiple sages.

Speaker 1 (45:49):
That doesn't ring any red flags no alarm, no red
flags.
She ordered all the sages.
That doesn't ring any red flags, no alarm, no red flags.

Speaker 2 (45:55):
Hmm, she ordered all the sages to kill each other and
the top ten that stay standingare the ones that get to stay.

Speaker 1 (46:02):
Yeah, because they are trying to find replacements.
Why would she care about thesages being dead?
It's really oh you know what, what?
Even more crazy that one guywith, uh, fake eye or whatever
case may be, where he kind ofhad the same ability, but maybe

(46:22):
to a lesser extent, as takatoand he was trying to kill sia
but like every time he tried tokill her, like she just kept
coming back to life instantly, like she did die, but she just
kept regenerating damn nearinstantly, like in a split
second, like not in a splitsecond but like in a one second
interval, to where, like shedied for one second and then

(46:42):
came back to life.
So dude kept doing that and shewas like all right, you know,
let's get annoying, kill him,but no, it's okay.
I can imagine her not being allthat worried about her being
killed or the other stage isbeing killed, but it's just
really crazy that she's beinglike literally ignorant of

(47:04):
what's going on to where.
I'm like, bro, you broughtsomeone who's like a human
weapon of mass destruction andyou're just being really oddly
and infuriatingly chill about ityeah, it was like.

Speaker 2 (47:22):
You just don't understand the level of you up,
fuckerita.
Is there she in her bed onclothing, where I feel?

Speaker 1 (47:28):
like it's so much fun .
She in her bed Clothing whereit feel like it was so much fun.
I know I'm like.

Speaker 2 (47:33):
Bitch, it was just Okay.
So when she met her Into likethe Demon King sister, that
whole Demon King I know youmentioned her, that whole Demon
King shit Was still funny ashell to me.
The minute Kakaroto shows up,instantly kills the Demon King.
He was like it's like Doesn'twant to say it Cause he was like
, mmm, it's like doesn't want tosay it because he's like uh, uh

(47:54):
.
So the miasma was like tryingto kill me.
So it just kind of happenedinstantly.
I didn't control it, it justkind of did it on its own and it
just killed the demon king.

Speaker 1 (48:08):
I mean technically you can write this off as self
defense because you know myability depends, like if anyone
have any intent to kill me, thenthey get killed themselves.
So in other words, it's kind oflike a deterrent, like what
Rick was saying.
Rick and Moritz, where you havelike this self-defense system,
where it's like it's pretty mucha deterrent.
It's like nobody, everybodydon't mind getting knocked out,

(48:30):
nobody likes being dead.
So like hey, yo like Nobody, everybody don't mind getting
Knocked out, nobody likes beingdead.
So like hey, yo like If you, ifyou didn't release that my Ass,
but whatnot, you wouldn't bedead.
So I'm like you know, to befair, I'm just A self-defense
reflex.
You know like I'm trying to beTakase's lawyer, like you see my
client here.

Speaker 2 (48:52):
This is your honor.
I want you to understand thatmy client does not have full
control of his ability, and thething about it is the reason why
he specifically says do notattempt to harm him or kill him
because of this lack of controlof his ability.
And if you do attempt to do so,it automatically causes you to
die.
So the thing about it is thatit's just a natural self defense
that we are as legally as humanbeings.
It's just a natural selfdefense that we are as legally

(49:13):
as human beings, as livingcreatures, entitled to self
defense.
That's just how it works.
What was the intent to kill?
Are you able to prove it?
Well, unfortunately, the clientis dead, so there's not much
way I can prove the intent tokill my client.

Speaker 1 (49:33):
However, I do want to make you aware that it did
exist but yeah, like incountries like that where, like
all these different peoplecoming away and you're thinking

(49:53):
there's a big threat to thisworld, but I'm just waiting for
Taco to show up.

Speaker 2 (49:59):
Pretty much, that's pretty much all you do.
You'll show up and he'll takecare of it, like he always does,
without even really wanting to.

Speaker 1 (50:08):
Oh, one more thing.
It's funny how, once again,again, it's like A little
correlation To our review toUndead Unlocked.
There is one more thing Iwanted to mention Um Tatsuto.
When he defeats the leader ofthe Immortal Corps, the uh

(50:29):
werewolf Guy, I like how he waslike trying to transform and
then he died mid transformation.
And then I like how the neuralis like well dang, that's rude.
Like you could at least let himfully transform and then talk
to a book.
They're like it's what youthink?
This is?
Dragon mode, get out of here.

Speaker 2 (50:47):
Why the hell would I let someone fully transform?
That makes no sense.
Just kill me and move on Likejust the most sensible shit.
Yes, in anime again.
Like I mentioned Before, thatwas very dishonorable Of you,
katsuo.
But you don't care, you'realpha Omega, like if anyone

(51:07):
pisses you off, you get justkilled.

Speaker 1 (51:10):
Hey man, listen, like .
Why you talking to me like that?
Why are you treating me likeI'm just this dastardly
murderous motherfucker, likeit's getting really offensive
how you keep treating me likethis, keep bringing like this
around your little friends, likeif you want this relationship

(51:34):
to work, I need you tounderstand that I'm just a
normal guy that just don't wantto be bothered his point was
valid, though his point wasvalid like look, I just, I don't
really like having this ability, I just have it.

Speaker 2 (51:50):
It's just what it is and it's.
I don't have much of a choice.
I just have it.
It's just what it is and it's.
I don't have much of a choice,I just gotta move on with life.
You know, they say life giveyou lemons.
This is my lemon.
Like that's one hell of a lemonto be getting and I'm like okay
, but I didn't pick it myself,damn Shit.

Speaker 1 (52:07):
I mean, that's three porn.

Speaker 2 (52:10):
Dad.

Speaker 1 (52:13):
I mean that's three born Dad.
I mean that's a crazy part too,because that's the thing, like
I'm thinking was he likeexperimented on or was he like
born in a tube like home lander?

Speaker 2 (52:25):
I honestly don't know .
They didn't really explain anyof that yet.

Speaker 1 (52:29):
Yeah, that's the main thing.
It's like okay, either he gotexperimental as a kid and he
became Alpha Omega, or he's likethis synthetic human that just
doesn't have emotions.
And that's the craziest part.
Can you imagine howgroundbreaking that is, to where
you not only create a synthetichuman but you made them so

(52:50):
humanly possible?
They have their own thoughtsand their own ambitions, or, if
any, or whatnot, where they feellike their own person?
That would be crazy.
But I want to believe it wasmore like he was experimenting
on, because I can kind ofbelieve that If he was like oh,

(53:13):
some facility decided hey, youknow what would be fun, let's
create a synthetic human thatcan kill anybody he sees.
Won't that be fun?

Speaker 2 (53:23):
I could in anime.
I could imagine some shit likethat.
You know, you can too.
You can imagine that happeningat any point.
That's just the most random butvery possible storyline.

Speaker 1 (53:38):
Yeah, it's like, see, that's the thing.
If they go the second route, then it's just lazy, but if they
go the first route, okay, let'shear them out.
How did it get to that point?
Because, as far as we know, wedidn't get to where he was born
and whatnot.

Speaker 2 (53:57):
We just skipped to the part to where he was like
what, five, six, seven years old?
Yeah, when we first meet himhe's like really little.
Yeah, now, hold on, I'm goingto look up because I mean there
might be, because the manga isalready way further ahead than
anime, of course.

Speaker 1 (54:08):
But I'm actually curious.
Yeah, because that wouldexplain something.
Are you asking me what now?
Yeah, okay, yeah, like I didn'thave to be born this way, you
guys, oh God, was there anythingelse that I wanted to talk

(54:33):
about?

Speaker 2 (54:35):
The heroes is pretty much like dying Literally.
Okay, so you got the sagecandidates and the sages are all
causing such ruckus.
There's literally heroes thatare going around trying to save
everyone or trying to, like, goup against the sages and shit.

(54:57):
But I want to talk about aswell these random mechanical
fucking creatures that pop upevery now and again and
disappear.
Yeah, cause we had one get achance to talk to Kakato and
then like what was it?
And the girl got what was it?
She got the, and the girl gotwhat did she get?
The outfit?

(55:17):
No, the sword.
She got the sword that couldtransform into any weapon.

Speaker 1 (55:20):
That's what it?

Speaker 2 (55:21):
was that's what she needed, because her ghost had
got that one.
But yeah, we got one aggressive.
It was like, yeah, we came froma whole other world.
He was like can you bring meback?
And say I couldn't?
He says I'm sorry, I couldn'tbring you back to my world
because you are too fuckingdangerous I am yeah, we're from
a whole different world and wealready heard about you, bro

(55:43):
yeah, I know you are not doingthat.

Speaker 1 (55:52):
I see it's those type of things where you have this
overpowered character and it'slike at this point you're so
used to OP characters like youcan't even be too mad that it's
like they just seem to have, like it's super easy for him to
like steam the whole story, butit just comes off a little funny

(56:15):
how it's executed to someextent.

Speaker 2 (56:19):
Oh, okay, so this is the best way of explaining, so
this is the best explanation wegot for it.
Takato, he's born.
He does have parents, but whatit is is is that he is an
eldritch.
He's literally a fuckingeldritch god, which makes total

(56:42):
sense that, in a sense, reincarnated into a human avatar
and you know, let me take thatback.

Speaker 1 (56:53):
That second part, that second row made no, no, no
For real, though For realAlright.
So he did have parents, cool, but Really.

Speaker 2 (57:05):
Yeah, he was born.
He birthed himself into a humanavatar.

Speaker 1 (57:20):
Wait.
So it's like a no, no, no, no,no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no,
no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no,no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no,
no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no,no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no,
no, no, no, no, no, no, no.
To be born.
So let me pick these random twopeople to be my parents.
Quote unquote.

Speaker 2 (57:35):
Pretty much, yeah, he .
They had no choice in thematter.
They just gave birth to a childwho wound up being an elder.
You had a virgin birth.

Speaker 1 (57:45):
Oh jeez, I should have known An anime Kogagatsu
recommended would have somebullshit like this.

Speaker 2 (57:56):
Oh, but it's funny though.
Yeah, it became a little bitmore hilarious this time versus
just it wasn't that funny.
No, now it's a little bit morefunny.

Speaker 1 (58:10):
I'm sitting here like what the fuck.

Speaker 2 (58:15):
It's crazy.

Speaker 1 (58:16):
Just imagine that moment of finding out later on
oh, I'm an eldritch, god yeah bythe way, sorry for the spoilers
to the listener, but, like wewere, I was curious.
I was just too curious.
See, that's the thing with theundel up, because I'm like bro,
like it's bringing up, I havemore questions than I have
answers.

Speaker 2 (58:33):
Now that part Like why the hell did you want to be
a, to be a human avatar?
I'm confused now.
I don't even know if I'm goingto get an answer to that one who
knows.
Alright, well, good to know, Iguess, how the fuck, did you

(58:53):
exist before you?

Speaker 1 (58:54):
even boom warned me.

Speaker 2 (59:00):
Because anime the best answer I got, oh shit.
But look like I told you, thisanime is funny as shit.
It's just random shit.
It's random shit, br.
It's just random shit.
It's random shit, bro.

Speaker 1 (59:18):
That's just what it is, you just enjoy it.
It's like the chicken comingbefore the egg.
I'm like, is that all the notesyou have on this anime?
Oh yeah, that was it.

Speaker 2 (59:33):
I just wanted to talk about how much of a wild ride
this whole anime was.
Like you mentioned, we gotvampires chugging zombies the
whole zombie apocalypse happenedin this shit and you got the
reality warpers.
I was like this nigga's justoverpowered, for no random
reason literally just made oneone reality warper just die

(59:58):
cause he just questioned his ownself, his own ability of why
the hell he even tried I made amistake, clearly and then die.
It's like just hilarious shit.
And then the other one who'slike oh, I can warp reality, let
me take a look at you.
Eldritch, god, death, horror, alpha, omega, beginning, ending

(01:00:21):
of every death.
Oh my god, I'm terrified.
Just it'll.
Fucking pop goes to a wholenother dimension.
Just Just be like I'm terrified.
You brought a monster here.
Why did you bring a monsterhere?

Speaker 1 (01:00:34):
And meanwhile he's partnered with this one girl
who's apparently good ateverything and everybody wants
her.
And I'm like this motherfucker.
Not only is this eldritch god,but he's also got the most
highly coveted bench in thewhole planet, apparently.

Speaker 2 (01:00:54):
He's got mega rays.

Speaker 1 (01:00:55):
Yeah, so yeah, with that being said, I'm going to
put a cap on this review.
I'm pretty much tapped outbefore I've asked too many
questions.
I shouldn't even ask if it wasan origin story, like I should
just wait for that to come, youknow, whatever.
So, with that being said, if Iwere to give this anime a rating

(01:01:21):
, I'd give it an H.
I was gonna write it up as likeokay, this is just typical
anime bullshit, but I will admitit was kind of funny.
Here and there there were somethings that got me intrigued,
like Takato's insidious abilityand the full scope of it, and it

(01:01:46):
got me curious enough to see if, like, it got me curious enough
to want to know the rest of thestory.
So I'll give it an A for now.
Who knows if we get a season two, I'm kind of hoping we do, like
, in fact, something.
It was 2024 when season onecame out.
I know we're a year late, soI'm thinking probably going to

(01:02:12):
be somewhere between 2026 and2027, because there wasn't a
whole lot announced for 2026except for the first quarter of
the anime season, the anime year, so we don't know that much in
advance, but I'm guessing it'sprobably going to be mid next
year or maybe the year afterthat.
I mean, I'm guessing it'sprobably going to be mid next

(01:02:33):
year or maybe the year afterthat.
I mean I'm just guessing, likeit might not even happen, but
I'm just guessing.
If the show was good enough towarrant a season two, then we're
probably not going to see onefor at least another season, for
at least another year or twoprobably because, I'll be honest
with you.

Speaker 2 (01:02:49):
I mean, right now we're going to see how things
are going to go, like you said, because even, for example, like
Silk Song, when that game cameout, a bunch of game developers
Pushed things back.
But actually what wound upHappening too is the fact that
not just game developersActually a lot of anime Was kind
of not necessarily Put on hold, but you could tell, a lot of
creators of mangaka Actually areall playing this new Silk Song

(01:03:12):
game.
Hey, you know what?

Speaker 1 (01:03:13):
I'm sorry.
I'm sorry, though I know we'retrying to wrap it up, but I
gotta mention it.
Like it's funny that you'resaying that, because I'm
watching videos of Kyson thatwith his Mafia, thon 3, how he
had Michael B Jordan and whatnoton there and whatnot.
And then it was like afterwards, or like in the middle of it,

(01:03:36):
like Suburb Baby, he came onthere talking about hey man,
listen, as a fan I love you, bro, but as a streamer I hate your
fucking guts, because every timeyou come on live stream, post
on.
I ain't doing it, because everytime you come on live, I'm not,
uh, streamed, postponed.
I ain't doing it, because everytime you come on live, I lose

(01:03:59):
all my viewers and whatnot.
And then I'm sitting here likeas a person trying to make
things happen.
I'm like listen, I'm cool withkai, like, not like personally,
but more like I don't mind him.
Like hey, he can streamwherever he wants.
In fact, I dare say that ifhe's big enough to have A-list

(01:04:20):
well-known celebrities on hisstreams, I think he at least
deserves a few months ofvacation.
Like he can like disappear forlike two, three months, come
back and people still love them.
Meanwhile it's us, the smallfish, the small fry, that's
trying to like do somethingevery single day just to get up

(01:04:40):
there.
So I guess, um, it's likenothing gets caught, it just.
I kind of get that sentiment towhere I'm like, yeah, we're
trying to do something and thenhere comes this one person where
everybody want to view his shitand then nobody's looking at my
shit and I'm like, how am Igoing to eat?
Like, nigga, I can't eat, I'mbroke.

(01:05:03):
Nigga, I'm broke and you gotthe power to change all that.
Kai Nah, seriously, I feel likeI don't think you need to
retire, like you can keep doingwhatever that you're doing, but
like I kind of feel that's whereI'm like, dang bro, I'm trying
to get some bread too, like youknow, yeah, yeah, I know what

(01:05:28):
you mean and we're trying outhere, yeah, we gonna get there,
we gonna get there.

Speaker 2 (01:05:34):
But you know, but I was just saying as far as, like,
with Silksong, when that cameout, even a lot of anime kind of
just paused for a momentbecause a lot of people took
time to play it.
And I will say that, likebecause Center for this is the
only game that I have ever heardof that crashed every single
gaming platform.
You broke Steam, you brokeNintendo Network, you broke

(01:05:58):
PlayStation Network, you brokethe Microsoft Network, you broke
all four at the same time.
I don't know, that's a featworth missing.
That's not what I want to dowhen I'm developing games, where
it's like, oh, really missing.

Speaker 1 (01:06:12):
That's kind of what I want to do, where I'm
developing games where it's likeoh, it's so good that I'm
having servers being crashed andI'm like hell yeah, I have
people posted outside of gamestype of where real things by
their games be like oh, we'rejust waiting for the new game jb
put out it'd be dope, it'd bedope, yeah.

Speaker 2 (01:06:37):
So I don't want to hold too much long, but I'll
just mention that as far as,like, there are some anime that
did get slightly delayed alittle bit, um, because of the
fact that most people weren'treally looking out for the anime
at that moment when the gamewas coming out.
Like that one game pushed backa lot of stuff.
You didn't expect it to, but itreally did.
It pushed back quite a fewthings.

(01:06:57):
I was like, okay, that's what'sup.

Speaker 1 (01:07:00):
I kind of understand at this point, because I would
hate for something really goodto be glossed over by something
else that's honestly not evenall that great Looking at you
after the war and I am so sorryto tell the worst one yeah, yeah

(01:07:21):
, both of those is like reallygreat and I don't know if they
ever come back like to me likeafters war is like I wait until
worse.
Mama here, and then that gotlost over because of all the
after his war.
It's like it was it was allright, boy, wait until the worst
one.
I'm like, ooh, y'all got alittle sauce going on here and
then that got glossed overbecause all the rest of shit
that happened in that season.
I'm like, damn, like you barelystood a chance with everything

(01:07:43):
else going on.

Speaker 2 (01:07:45):
And I will say I don't know.
I'll probably see if I can gofind it later today, but yeah,
Alright, let's go ahead and wrapthis up.

Speaker 1 (01:07:59):
Like I said, instant Death, billy, 8 out of 10,
pretty good Kind of made me mada little bit, but I can't be too
mad at it.
It was kind of funny.
You go ahead and have yourselfa good morning, good afternoon,
good evening, good night, whatever the case may be, stay
nerdy, remember that greatthings are coming, but
ultimately, take it easy, we'rezoning out of here.
