The title "Invincible" becomes increasingly ironic as Mark Grayson faces devastating defeat after defeat in his journey as Earth's newest superhero. From the shocking revelation of his father's true nature to battles that leave him beaten to within an inch of his life, Mark's story subverts typical superhero narratives by unflinchingly showing the brutal reality behind the cape.

What makes this animated series so compelling is its willingness to explore the psychological and physical toll of heroism. Mark struggles not only with external threats but also with his Viltrumite heritage—constantly questioning whether he might someday become the monster his father revealed himself to be. The series deftly balances bone-crushing action sequences with quieter moments of character development that give weight to the spectacular violence.

The supporting cast shines throughout all three seasons, with characters like Cecil Stedman walking morally ambiguous lines in service of Earth's protection. His pragmatic approach of preserving villains and creating android duplicates raises uncomfortable questions about whether the ends justify the means. Meanwhile, relationships evolve in authentic ways, particularly as Mark transitions from his troubled romance with Amber to a more understanding partnership with fellow hero Eve.

Season three's introduction of Conquest creates some of the most brutal fight sequences in animated television, made even more meta by the casting of Walking Dead alumni Steven Yeun and Jeffrey Dean Morgan as adversaries. The revelation that only 50 pure-blooded Viltrumites remain in the universe sets up compelling stakes for future seasons, suggesting an epic conflict that will test Mark's resolve and identity.

Whether you're drawn to the complex family dynamics, the unflinching portrayal of superhero violence, or the thoughtful exploration of power and responsibility, Invincible delivers a fresh take on the superhero genre that will leave you eagerly anticipating season four. Join us as we break down all three seasons and speculate on what's coming next in this unforgettable series.

Speaker 1 (00:01):
what up, gang?
It's the zone podcast and weare back at it again with
another review.
We are going to not onlyrevisit season one of invincible
, but we're going to finally goahead and talk about season two
and season three before seasonfour comes around the corner
next year.
Uh, playboy, I'm so glad thatyou're on the podcast for this

(00:25):
one, because I got a bunch ofshit to say, so let's just go
ahead and zone in on it.
In season one, we got ourprotagonist, mark grayson,
finally developed superpowersafter accidentally throwing a
garbage bag into the sky whiletaking out the trash at the job.
The Guardians of the Globe, that Justice League knockoff,

(00:46):
has been brutally murdered byOmni-Man Mark and the strongest
hero on Earth.
While receiving training fromNolan and joining the Guardians
on missions, mark realized justhow brutal hero work really is
Nolan's playing his place oforigin as a Viltrumite.
Just how brutal hero workreally is.
Nolan explains his place oforigin as a Viltrumite from

(01:08):
planet Viltrum.
Imagine Kryptonians with amindset of Saiyans.
That's Kryptonians.
That's Viltrumites.
Mark begins to date Amber, whoimmediately makes it obvious
that she and Mark are better asfriends than a couple.
Between the guilt trips, trauma, dumping and her suspicions of

(01:28):
Mark.
Meanwhile, it's heavily hintedthat Adam Eve is better suited
as a romantic partner, speakingof which, miss Thigh Gap is
probably one of the most OPcharacters.
But NERC, her powers with themental flaws, pretty messed up
backstory with arguably theworst Foster parents and friends
ever.
We'll talk about that in amoment.

(01:51):
We got the robot Cyborg knockoff.
He has the Hotspot monster girland he was low key working with
the Mauler twins in order tomake a new Human body for him,
using Rexpl of DNA and gettingcloser to MG while trying to fix
her.
I'm like bro, bro, bro, bro, that's a lot to unpack there.

(02:17):
Anyway, speaking of Rex, he gotcaught cheating on Eve with
Duplicate.
I don't condone the cheating,but I understand the attraction.
I don't condone the cheatingbut I understand the attraction.
I mean, think about it.
This second Duplicate promotedLike I get it, I get it.
Mark unwittingly helped a guynamed I forgot his name, I think

(02:43):
it was Titan or something, butbut you know, he's like the
Tombstone knockoff.
You know Tombstone fromSpider-Man comics.
He helped him overthrow MachineHead as this universe's local
kingpin, almost got killed byBattle Beasts.
Uh, william, mark's friend.

(03:04):
Uh, he had a boyfriend namedRick.
He gets kidnapped by this madscientist that looked like Ezra
Miller for some reason andforcibly make Him into a cyborg.
By the way, I like William as afriend character For Mark, eve,
amber, etc.
Like he brings a good dynamicTo the main cast.

(03:26):
Uh, damien Darkblood and DebbieGrayson Suspect Nola of the
murder of the Guardians.
Meanwhile, cecil Stedman Iswilling to force Darkblood Back
to hell, disrupting theinvestigation.
In order to keep things gray, donald gets killed by Omni-Man
for getting too close to thetruth.
The Mauler twins revive theImmortal.

(03:48):
Eventually, mark finds out thatNolan murdered the Guardians
and that the Viltrum Empireplanned to conquer Earth.
Nolan considered his wife ashis pet, by the way, and after a
brutal defeat, mark is leftbeaten to near death while Nolan
flies out into space.
And also there's Alan, theAlien voiced by Sephiroth.
So before I get into Season 2,playboy, how'd you feel about

(04:12):
Season 1?

Speaker 3 (04:14):
Man.
Season 1 was wild bro, cause, like I mean, obviously it
started when he just randomlykilled the fucking Guardians.
Obviously that's when thefucking shit got real.
That was was when that was likethat shit, that kind of made
invincible, go viral, and allthat because that was the scene
that popped up.
But I'm like, damn, what is this?
What you know I'm saying likeyou know, I'm saying so I'll

(04:35):
stand up watching it, but thenwe really get to like the end of
it.
You know, most of the all theepisodes like 40 minutes long,
so there's so much detail tograsp and so much you know
saying in one episode there's alot of details going on.
There's like different thingsgoing on in these episodes.
You have to really like payattention.
Um, so I say for me it was likeit got.
It got.

(04:56):
And it's crazy because even inseason one, characters started
to have character development.
Like it didn't take season twoto start seeing character
development, like for um, for,uh, like for Nolan, for example,
like when he finally did leaveearth and he went to the other
planet to have a family.
It was right.
Then I saw a difference in him, because I was just waiting for

(05:17):
Mark to be like how you want tocome here and protect them, but
you didn't do it on earth.
I'm still confused because Iwas like what is different about
them?
Like you spent more time therethan here, so like now, or is it
because you feel bad now, youknow?

Speaker 2 (05:34):
you've never.

Speaker 3 (05:35):
You've never done that before, you've never.
It's kind of like you know, saying like having somebody or
you being in a relationship withsomeone, then you finally leave
them.
Well, they finally leave you,not just like later down the
line, but like oh man, he was agood person.
They tried to come back intoyour life, like when it's
convenient for him or something.
You know what I'm saying.
I guess he was just trying toright his wrongs, but it was
almost like for Mark it was toolate and all the shit you said

(05:57):
and did you know what I mean?
Like he was going to come andtake over the planet.
He could have just came andtook over the planet, he didn't
have to lie, shit like that.
But I, he and I guess Nolandidn't understand that.
Like he wanted Mark to justdismiss all those feelings at
the time.
Growing up, like you got tounderstand 18 years, you can't
just expect me to be like no,fuck this, I'm a true.

(06:19):
Built your mind.
Like never been there before.
No, so I don't even know thempeople.
And how do I know it's not alie?
You just lied to me for 18years.
This could be nothing butcomplete lies you treated my
mother.
No, it was just a whole no seehold on playboy.

Speaker 1 (06:32):
Hold on, see, I gotta interject.
I agree with you.
I do agree with you, but let meadd on to that.
See, this is why I say that thevilter mice are like the
kryptonians if they had themindset of the saints.
Because isn't it?
Isn't it funny how the samething with Goku and Gohan, to
where it's almost like Gokuthinks, oh, just because Gohan's
half Saiyan, he should be ableto like adopt the Saiyan mindset

(06:57):
of.
Oh, I thought you likedfighting, just like me, I'm like
.
No, dad, I'm not like you.
Same thing with mark and nolan's, where no one assumed that
because marcus have built frommy uh, who's like passing, uh,
for almost a full built from my,because you know how they do it
, where those reminds can makewith anybody, but because the

(07:19):
earthlings, they're damn nearclose to looking like built for
my gen anyways, it's more likeokay, well, shit, you passed, as
you might as well say you're afull-blooded Biltramite.
Like we can just pretend thatyour mother's a Biltramite and
do it.
Well, you know, we ain't gonnago into that.
He looked like a Biltramite, sofuck it.
But no, no, no, for real, though.

(07:39):
It's funny how like Nolanunderestimated how human Mark is
, and that's why I kind of haveappreciation for Debbie, because
Debbie is what Chi-Chi would Imean Chi-Chi would try to, you
know, be an authoritarian forGoku and Gohan I mean especially

(08:02):
Gohan.
But like you can kind of seethe parallels, at the very least
, she would definitely like thatfor a second, for a step-son.
Yeah, she definitely does.
I was thinking, like what else?

(08:22):
Yeah, like, let me just goahead and do this out of the way
, ain't no way.
I mean, he did get some dubs.
I'll admit he did get some dubs, but, Mark Bro, all those
goddamn L's he was takingThroughout this series, bro,
like Jesus Christ.

Speaker 3 (08:45):
Yeah, like this series, bro, like Jesus Christ.

Speaker 1 (08:49):
Yeah, he was getting them up.
Yeah, like I mean it's onething to get beat every now and
then, but just how bad he wasgetting beat, like shit.
Like I'm kind of surprised hedidn't hang it up like oh,
spider-man and Spider-Man 2,like nah, fuck it, just throw my
suit in the trash.
And that is funny too, becauseI know I'm jumping ahead.

(09:11):
But mark does get that blackand blue suit where at first I
thought, okay, he kind of lookslike nightwing in a way.
But like then I thought, oh,wait, hold on, this must be his
like black spideriderman suitera.
To where like, okay, you'regonna get a little edgy, like
don't start killing foes, like,or he's gonna get like really

(09:32):
close to killing them.
You know what I mean.
But um, yeah, like betweenmarvel dc and splash and dragon
ball z, it feels like theparallels of yesterday parallels
.
I guess that's kind of why Ilike this show, because like
it's like a Smorgasbord forpeople who Like comic books and

(09:54):
Dragon Ball Z apparently.
But uh, boy, boy, you guys wantto add on to.
Uh, hold on, hold on.
How did you feel about theRelationship between Mark and
Amber?
Because, bro, like people wereCooking Amber, season one.

Speaker 3 (10:15):
I mean okay, so Cooking her how like?
You mean like, because I meanhe was just trying To like keep
it A secret for a minute, butthen when it Came out, I don't
know.
I guess, no, no, trying to likekeep it a secret for a minute,
but then when it came out, Idon't know.
I guess.

Speaker 1 (10:27):
No, no, no, it's nothing against Mark.
It's just that they were mad atAmber because the thing is like
, like I said earlier, there wasa whole thing with, oh well,
you know, I had like a badhistory with other guys, so
she's kind of already had likeher walls up to where she's kind
of already had like her wallsup to where she's kind of
already suspicious of mark, evenif he wasn't a superhero, and

(10:49):
the fact that he had to hide itto help, um, you know, protect
her.
You know how it is on heroes.
And she just felt like she wasgetting cheated on, like okay, I
don't know what's going on withyou, but we need to talk about
this.
Like you missing dinner with mymother and all that, you missed
all this.
What's going on with you?
Like don't tell me, you umaround with some other shit like

(11:12):
that.
Like, but what made peoplereally mad was when mark did
tell amber that he wasinvincible and she was like
whatever, I knew that the wholetime.
I'm like, was there even anyindication that you knew?
Like, as far as we know, youwere totally in the dark and

(11:36):
it's almost like you just saidthat to get ahead of him talking
about.
Oh well, I knew that the wholetime.
I just wish you just beinghonest with me and just told me
what's going on and I'm like, did you though?

Speaker 3 (11:50):
That's bullshit.
You thought you was gettingcheated on.
You thought he was fucking upon the side.
Come on now.

Speaker 1 (11:55):
Yeah, I'm like nah, did you though?
Nah, I ain't buying that, Iain't going for that fail.

Speaker 3 (12:03):
I don't know.
Yeah, no, she bullshit and sheknow it.
I mean it's like I wanted totry to understand her because
I've been through what Marcus isgoing through.
I've been through that.
So I was really like that'swhat really made me lock into
that whole arc right there, because I was like man, I feel
him.
But it's like so when she saidthat, I'm like that made me feel

(12:25):
like you was really just tryingto give my man a hard time,
like make him overwork, okay now.
And even when she did find out,it's like she was still being
inconsiderate to the fact he hadto do what he do.
Like he gotta go and save theworld.
Like now you know it's outthere.
Like he's protecting everybody.
Like now he's gone, he's.
No, he had to go to anotherplanet for like three months or
some shit.
You know what I'm saying.

(12:48):
I mean it's hard being a heroin any relationship, bro, that's
a superhero.
I mean, if he hang it up, theworld gonna die and get
destroyed.

Speaker 1 (12:59):
We would the civilians like don't, understand
.
You know, like Mary Jane isn'ta bad example of this.
But I'm saying like understand,you know, like I won't.
Mary jane isn't a bad exampleof this.
But I'm saying like you knowhow heroes have, like the
girlfriend character, where it'slike mary jane, lois lane or
whatever the case may be, andthey may know their secret
identity.
But the thing is like, even ifyou know you can keep a secret,

(13:25):
it's about the villains pullingup on you and see, the thing is,
if they find out the heroes oh,excuse me, if they find out the
hero's identity and then theytry to trace it to, okay, who do
they know, who they'reconnected with?
You know, like in spider-man one, where uh norman figured out

(13:48):
that who uh spider-man's secretidentity is and the first thing
he did was to kidnap aunt may.
So that's the kind of thingthat people don't think about,
where it's like it's not evenabout you keeping the secret.
It's more like the fact thatyou know could make you a target
for a villain to be like okay, since you, I know that you know

(14:13):
who I'm talking about, you'regoing to give them to my demands
and, like you know what I'msaying so.
That's why I can understandsome heroes to where they keep
their identity secret.
So that way, it's not thatthey're keeping who they're
protecting in the dark, but toprotect them from people who

(14:34):
might exploit the informationthat they know of that hero,
like any possible weaknesses ofsome sort.

Speaker 3 (14:43):
I feel that yeah.

Speaker 1 (14:44):
I feel like, yeah, so yeah, like I'm feeling what
you're saying, where Amberwasn't being kind of considerate
of Mark's position to where, unless he knows that, oh yeah, I
definitely got you, ain'tnobody gonna fuck with you.
Yeah, like he kind of wanted tolive a double life because he
wanted to be able to have ahuman life.

(15:09):
You know, know, trying to go tocollege it wasn't a human life,
by the way, trying to have anormal life.
But also, yeah, as long as Ihave these powers, I might as
well do something with them, might as well be a hero, and I
just can't have people justPulling up on you Just to get to

(15:29):
me.
You know what I'm saying.

Speaker 3 (15:31):
Yeah, alright.

Speaker 1 (15:34):
Let's go ahead and get into season 2, because I got
things I want to do.
Season 2 Now Hold on.
Okay, there we go.
You see what happens whenInvincible is the bad guy.
In other universes we haveAngstrom, levi or Levi, however

(15:56):
you want to pronounce that hebuilds a machine with the Mauler
twins to create a multiverse oftravel, but with things going
wrong and Invincible gettinginvolved, levi ends up fusing
with the variance of himself tobecome mutated, with his brain
so big that it becomes part ofhis back.
Good load of stuff for durags,by the way.

(16:17):
He pins the blame on Mark eventhough it was his own fault, for
his multiple consciousness inhis head influenced him, vowing
vengeance on Mark for gettinginvolved and whatnot.
I'm like bro, he was justtrying to help.
But anyways, the teenage maincast graduates high school and

(16:40):
Mark goes to college for lessthan a semester.
Duplicate ends up cheating onBrent, for the immortal who than
a semester.
Duplicate ends up cheating onRitz, for the Immortal who
understands him better.
Mark fights Darkwing 2, who'sstill salty about Omni-Man
killing his predecessor.
Donald returns as an android.
Cecil makes Mark take on aproblem.

(17:01):
Dylan made to the Aquarians bymarrying the queen.
Nolan killed the king, by theway, I think it's the fish guy.
I don't remember for sure, butI'm pretty sure it was the fish
guy that was the king.
I mean because, think Aquaman,al Gore, I'm thinking, okay,
maybe the fish guy was the kingof the Aquarians.
And since Omni-Man just fuckingsoloed the Guardians, I figured

(17:23):
like okay, well, mark.

Speaker 3 (17:28):
Since Nolan's solo the guardians, I figured like
okay, well mark since no one'snot here, I'm like you know,
yeah, I think that's.
I think that is what happened.
Yeah, I think it was.
I think it was his daddy faultbecause he slick had to like
kind of deal with the things hisdaddy did.
You know, like when it came toall the yeah, he's slick, yeah,
no one kind of slick fucked itup for Mark man.
He kind of take care of a wholelot of shit.

(17:49):
That that kind of like how thepresident fucked up something
and this one got to come and fixall this shit.
That's how I kind of feel likehe is the next hero nine.

Speaker 1 (17:57):
You know what I'm saying, especially with what he
did no-transcript, so hedefinitely had to take a couple
for the team by the way, I likehow season 2 opened up with

(18:19):
Invincible trying to do his herowork with that one song by
Radiohead Karma Police.
That was the first time I everheard that song.
But, bro, I kind of KarmaPolice.
That was the first time I everheard that song.
But, bro, I kind of felt thatsong.
I was singing that song allfucking day when I first heard
that, because, damn, I feel thissong you know the one that goes
Karma Police, arrested man.

(18:42):
It felt right because it'salmost like, even though Mark
was barely anything, you know,he's just a hero trying to do
his thing and it just went wrongand whatnot.
It's almost like he's payingfor the bullshit that his father
did.

(19:03):
So it's almost like no one'skarma is rubbing off on Mark.
Right, yeah, but uh, let's keepgoing.
We get back to Alan the Alien, whose people were slaughtered by
the Viltrumites.
We also see him get beaten tonear death by three Viltrumites.

(19:24):
He not only takes a fullrecovery thanks to a rogue
Viltrumite, but apparently gotan Xen'kai boost.
See, I told you, bro, like theDVZ.
Come on, bro, you can't tell meit's not there, uh.

Speaker 3 (19:39):
DVZ had on everything .

Speaker 1 (19:43):
In a fucking stranglehold.
But let's keep it moving.
Mark visits planet Thrax wherehe finds out that Omni-Man is
there, being the new emperor, with a new wife and child who
will be named Oliver.
Mark and Nolan gets attacked byViltrumite.
Nolan is apprehended forexecution while Mark is feared

(20:05):
to assume Nolan's mission toprepare Earth for the Viltrumite
, to assume Nolan's mission toprepare Earth for the built-up
intercom See, taking over shit.
That Nolan's like, I'm like bro,like.
That's why I say with Goku andGohan's, where it felt like Goku
was trying to set Gohan up tobe the new champion of Earth in
case he dies or just don't feellike doing all that of anymore,

(20:27):
and it's kind of feel like markis being set up to be the
predecessor to nolan, eventhough I'm like bro, like I may
have these powers and I may wantto be a hero, but I didn't ask
for all this.
You know what I'm saying.
You know what I'm saying.
That's real difficult.

(20:49):
Well, half of the Guardiansfighting this thorough knockoff
you know thorough from theSuicide Squad, the 2021 version.
Yeah, the other half gotbrutally beaten by the lizard
league.
You were thinking going upagainst the lizard league, I'm
like man, they ain't gonna doshit.
They ain't gonna do shit, oh no, thinking like going up against
the Little League.
I'm like man, they ain't gonnado shit, they ain't gonna do
shit.
I'm like oh no, oh no.
Like Drink Ray was gettingeaten, rex got shot in the head.

(21:15):
I'm like fuck dog.
Fuck.
I did not expect that the firsttime around.

Speaker 3 (21:22):
That shit was kind of crazy.

Speaker 1 (21:27):
Episode 7 had like a little self-awareness.
You know, when they were at theconvention and shit.
While on a date with Amber, mark had the displeasure of
meeting Anissa, this Viltrumitewoman that's overseeing Mark's
obligation to the Empire, andafter he loses the tussle with

(21:47):
Amnesty, amber breaks up withMark and damn, can you imagine,
like I mean I know first of allto quote Cecil thank fucking God
, because they were just notright for each other.
Like I mean they could befriends, but obviously season
the rest of season 2, carry on.
I mean they can be friends, butobviously season the rest of

(22:08):
season two, carry on into seasonthree.
You can see that they workbetter as friends, but that's
the one thing.
Second of all, can you imagine, like you just got your ass
kicked by this superpower womanand then your girl's like, nah
see, you remember how you gotyour ass kicked by this super
power woman and then your girl'slike, nah see, you remember how

(22:29):
you got your ass kicked?
It just got me thinking youknow what, I'm not into this
anymore.
Like I think we just need tosee other people, or not, like
bro, because I be hearingstories of how some folks dudes
be getting dumped by their girl, just because they found out.
Oh, oh, you lost that fight.

(22:49):
All right, bet, like I can't dothis anymore, I can't date a
man that's been taking l's likebro, really like damn.
You really gotta fight for yourlife and for your relationship,
you know that was tough.

Speaker 3 (23:02):
Yeah, my boy was going through it.
My, yeah, he was going throughit.
Yeah, he was going through it.

Speaker 1 (23:06):
Man, I'm like you, kind of like Spider-Man, like
look, can't catch a break.

Speaker 3 (23:13):
But the whole Invincible wasn't?
It definitely wasn't Invincible.
He was definitely gettingtrapped in there.
I'm talking about back to back.
He's like.
I'm talking about back to back,he's like he can't really I.
I mean, he was, he was doing.
He was doing what a hero coulddo.
He was doing all he could do, Iguess, and I guess what it was.
It was just he really justneeded to train a little bit

(23:33):
more, because it wasn't that.
It was weird.
It was the people who weregoing against.

Speaker 1 (23:36):
I already had experience and was strong as
hell right, like, yeah, likethose, those reminds been
training the whole lines forconquest, which, funny enough,
we're gonna talk about thatmotherfucker in a minute.
But uh, yeah, they've beentraining their whole lives for
shit like this.
But Mark, he's just brand newto it.
Like, didn't he just get hispowers like what, like a couple

(23:57):
months ago at this point?
Yeah, yeah, oh, excuse me sorry.

Speaker 3 (24:04):
He was still fairly new to everything.
Yeah, so oh, excuse me sorry,he was still fairly new to
everything, yeah.

Speaker 1 (24:08):
So, um, While Nolan was awaiting Execution, he
counts Alan, who was apprehendedby Viltrumites, on purpose Like
he lost the fight on purpose,so that we can get closer to
Nolan.
See, I can't understand that.
Like okay, that was part of theplan, Alright, I can forget
that one.
Like okay, that was part of theplan, All right, I can forget

(24:28):
that one.
And then at the end of seasontwo, Angstrom returns to fight,
Invincible, threatening to killDebbie and Oliver and bro.
By the way, that fight was sofucking annoying, the way he was
, like he's portaling out, threatening Debbie and whatnot,
I felt like I was getting madfor him.
I'm like man, if you don'tleave my family alone, I'm like

(24:49):
in a blind rage.
He ends up killing Levi andthen felt traumatized by it.
But we find out later in season3 that he survived.
So I guess Mark is only guiltyof nearly beating someone to
death.
Maybe he'll catch an assaultcase, but not murder, Maybe
attempted murder, I don't know.
I don't know because he's ahero.

(25:10):
So at this point in thisuniverse it's like as long as
you're not killing an innocentperson, I guess that would be
the other way if a hero kills avillain.
You know what I'm saying it'skind of you know, a soldier in a
war, where I'm saying it's kindof you know a soldier in a war,
where I'm like, if you're in awar and you're going on fighting

(25:32):
against this other country andyou kill all these different
soldiers on the other side, doesthat make you a murderer?

Speaker 3 (25:44):
I mean, it'll make you a murderer on the one side
and it'll make you a hero To theother man there you go.
It's like that shit Payne wastalking about.

Speaker 1 (25:52):
There you go, exactly , exactly.
So that was season two For themost part.
What were your thoughts,playboy?

Speaker 3 (26:01):
Season two.
I mean I fuck with season two.
Like I said, season one waskinda like when you seen
everybody had their characterdevelopment and then, like there
was a lot of shit going on.
First of all, it's like markstarted to see how real shit was
and, I ain't gonna lie, afterhe started to like get into it
with cecil, I knew that shit wasgoing.

(26:22):
I ain't gonna lie, I knew thatshit was gonna end the way it
ended.
It just for me took longer thanit should have.
You know what I'm sayingbecause I was kind of having my.
I was sideline on Caesar for along time, man and it's and it's
like I get it.
He was just trying to protectthrough his job.
Like even when they did hislittle backstory, I kind of
understood, understood him.

(26:43):
But it's like there's, it'slike you got this.
It's still like the old guytrying to talk to a new
generation.
You know what I'm saying.
Like you can't really put yourphilosophies on him.
You know you can't expect himto understand you, especially
when he had this whole lovething going on and then his
daddy just went through thisshit and he's still trying to
manage being a hero and then hethinks you're suspicious, like
he already don't fuck with theshit you're doing, but it's

(27:04):
almost like he can't be the herowithout Caesars.
You know what I'm saying.
So it's like he's a puppet, buthe's like not.
You know what I'm saying.
But this shit was kind of man.
Season 2 was fucking.
I'll say, aside from the bigfights in Season 3 and all the
other seasons, season 2 wasactually probably my favorite

(27:25):
season.
Man, it was.
That's funny.

Speaker 1 (27:36):
That was when, um see , and she was kind of long as I
don't want to say it was inseason three, though that's
funny, because, uh, season two.
I think a lot of people saythat they didn't like it, mainly
because of what they did withit, to where, first of all, it
took a while for season two toeven come around, and then,
second of all, when it finallydid come around, then they split
it up to where, okay, we'llgive you four episodes now or

(28:01):
like in this timeframe, and thenwe'll come back in like I don't
know six months, and give youthe rest of the four.
And that's what pissed peopleoff like and see, at least wait
wednesday, with the way they'redoing their season, their second
season, like at least you haveto wait a month for the rest of
the episode.
So I'm like, okay, that's alittle bit more forgivable, but

(28:21):
then again, we did have to waita few years just to get seen.

Speaker 3 (28:25):
So yeah, and that's exactly why I have this method
of when a show comes out likeI'll watch it, but then I'll
also watch something else that Ihave on my watch list that I
didn't finish.
Yeah, so by the time theseasons come, I binge watched it
like I didn't have to wait forany of it, like I watched season
one, but then I had to catch upon.
I go like I kind of fell offinvincible so I ain't even seen
anything.
I had to catch up on it.
I kind of fell off, invincible,so I ain't even seen anything.

(28:46):
I had to really start from themiddle of season one to catch up
to season three.
So I kind of gave Invincible abreak so I was able to binge
through it.
I didn't have to go throughthat waiting process.
I didn't even realize they didit like that.
So I would have been pissed.
My damn stuff.
I've only waited four episodes.
I Four episodes.

Speaker 1 (29:04):
I got you Tuck About damn time.
He jumped on the podcast.
How you doing, I don't know.
I'll give him time.
But uh, yeah, yeah, like seasontwo was not bad.

(29:25):
It just you know, I guess theway it was released, that was
the main turnoff.
Aside from that, season twodefinitely built on some of the
things that happened in seasonone.
But uh, let's go ahead again toseason three.
Now duplicate turns out.
Now Duplicate Turns out to havea brother named Multipult, an

(29:48):
assassin.
We'll get to him in just alittle bit.
Oliver gets into a, gets alittle bigger, he develops
powers and he might be A secondcoming of Omni-Man With the way
he's moving, almost like aBrightburn kind of situation.
But Mark Is growing moreuntrusting of Cecil and how he's

(30:10):
moving.
We get backstory on Cecil whichexplains his facial scar and
why he became the man he is now.
We also find out that Cecillikes to provide for my enemies
because otherwise it would be awaste of talent.
Honestly, I would say Cecil kindof reminds me of Amanda Waller,
but at least he's better thanAmanda Waller, at least with

(30:34):
Cecil.
Yeah, he's threading shades ofgray but at least you can tell
he kind of cares he's not.
It doesn Like he's not.
It doesn't feel like he'scompletely using the Guardians
or anybody under his employ.
It's more like, imagine like aNick Fury type character who's

(30:56):
like just trying to keep a teamof heroes organized and whatnot.
Yeah, he might be doing someshit behind the scenes that they
don't want the Guardians toknow, but for the most part he's
actively out to get theGuardians or trying to send them
on suicide benches, like AmandaWaller.

(31:17):
See, amanda Waller, straight up, don't give a damn about those
criminals because, think aboutit, they're criminals, so if
they die, whatever right.
But Cecil, he's handling heroes.
Criminal because, think aboutthat, criminal.
So it's like if they died, whatever right.
But um, cecil, he's handlingheroes, so I'm like he kind of
had to give them like a littlebit.
So I'll give more points tocecil in that respect.

(31:38):
But uh, keeping it moving, debbie starts dating again.
Rex is dating shrink.
Ray mark is dating eve nowink.
Ray Mark is dating Eve now.
Finally, because you know itwas kind of hinted at at the one
where she was like you see, that's the thing.
Dating civilians is just somuch harder.
You'd be better off dating asuperhero, you know.

(31:59):
Hint, hint, we know.
But um, yeah, I already talkedabout Mark getting a new suit.
Uh, more edgy, but I like thefirst suit better with you know,
the yellow, the coloring, Ijust like it better on him.
Like that, oliver kills bothmobile twins, so we ain't gonna

(32:19):
get no more of that.
Oh, one twin killed the otherand can't tell who's the
original, this, this one.
Nah, fuck all that, nah, oh,we're just kill both of them.
I'm like ah, damn, okay, well, that's it, that's it.
What now?

Speaker 3 (32:38):
I said, the way he did him made me feel a little
bad for him.

Speaker 1 (32:41):
Yeah, I kind of did too.
Two guys from the futuredropped Dropkick and Fightmaster
I'm like I didn't want toworkshop those names Anyways
stole the Declaration ofIndependence, like they were
fucking Nick Cage or some shit,as an excuse to find Invincible

(33:02):
and convince him to defeat theMad King in their time
invincible and convince him todefeat the mad king in their
time, who happened to be theimmortal who lost his mind
waiting for the true ruler toreturn, invincible.
So in the future, uh, marktakes over the world.
And he's like ah well, you know, I got shit to do.
So, uh, tell you what immortal.
Take my place for a littlewhile, I'll be back, yeah.

(33:25):
And then the immortal was likeokay, well, all right, cool,
cool, I'm just gonna uh, be thetemporary king, you're gonna do
all that.
And things were good for alittle while.
And then, for some reason, theimmortal's like bro, like you
know, I'm not coming back.
It's driving me crazy, like I'msorry I'm ready to crash out,
like I'm ready to like implementsome new laws, like really make

(33:48):
fuck shit up and whatnot.
I'm like I don't know why, likehe was really tweaking out his
mind, like when Mark finallyshowed up, he was like you gotta
kill me, please, please, please.
And then Mark was like yeah, enough, alright, ripped his head
off.
Uh, that was the only kill Markreally had to his name.

(34:08):
Uh, I think so far, likebecause you know we'll get to it
, we'll get to it.
But that's the.
That's his first kill.
Right there, if I meantechnically, I mean he did kill
somebody, but if the future'snot set in stone, then if that
future never happens, then didhe though.

Speaker 3 (34:32):
A lot of people he was fighting.
He just beat their ass real badand they kind of like got away
like one HP or some shit.

Speaker 1 (34:39):
Right, like with an inch of their life.
That shit.

Speaker 3 (34:42):
Yeah, unless it was like some minion monster or some
shit, he didn't really like.
You know, catch no cat body.

Speaker 1 (34:51):
Yeah, oh yeah, Back on that ship that Alan and Nolan
was on.
It's prison break time and Alanrescues Nolan with the help of
Battle Beast, Okay, and we alsofind out that there's only 50
pure-blooded Viltrumites left.

(35:11):
So there's your arc there towhere I guess Invincible, and
the gang is going to deal with50 Viltrumites.
So it's almost like theextinction of the Saiyan race
and Kryptonian race.
I told you Clayboy, I told youit's like okay, so essentially

(35:34):
we're pushing towards theextinction of the Viltrumite
race and maybe with more likerebuild and whatnot, and blah,
blah, blah, Because you know, like a pure blooded Viltrumite
anyways, but this time it'salmost like it's for the best.
Oh, you know, like apure-blooded Vulture Mine
anyways, but this time it'salmost like it's for the best.
Oh, you know what?
I would go as far as sayingit's like the Uchiha Massacre

(35:55):
too.
It's where Itachi had to do histhing, to where, oh well, you
know it's more the greater good.
You know, Because you know it'salways an Uchiha fucking things
up, because you know it'salways in the TO fucking things
up.
But, uh, we'll get to that whenwe do that.
Naruto Shippuden stream review, the battle, okay, Ooh, this part

(36:17):
, this part made me mad.
I mean not like I was reallymad at it, but it's more like
okay, I was fun.
So the Battle of Chicago, youknow, Mark versus Nolan.
That's the reason why PowerPlay has been inspired to prove
that Omni-Man and Invincible arethe bad guys.

(36:38):
Especially after losing hissister and niece during the
building collapse, Scott learnsthat his powers are stronger
when he absorbs enough damage, like Ultra Ego, and he
challenges Invincible multipletimes until he gets his wife and
newborn baby involved.
In his last plan.

(36:59):
The dumbass forgot that theywere within range of the
overcharge and then his wife andchild just got.
I'm like, bro, like did youkind of forget they were back
there?

Speaker 3 (37:13):
I mean because he was probably an invincible, I kind
of spazz.
He didn't think he see, andthat's the thing, like he let
his emotions kind of get overhim, like he had a good, solid
plan even though it was fuckingrisky.
He just didn't like factor allthe parameters.
I guess he didn't expecthimself to do that, I guess he
didn't expect himself to losehis mind.
But he was tripping, bro, hisass was tripping, but he was

(37:36):
tripping.

Speaker 1 (37:37):
Hell yeah.

Speaker 3 (37:39):
They locked his ass up.

Speaker 1 (37:42):
And that's the funny thing, we're going to talk about
the second prison break too.
But the crazy part is how PowerPledge he was right about some
things but at the same time itwas like he was right about some
things but he was going in thewrong direction about it, where
I'm like, okay, you kind of havea point, but somehow you're not

(38:05):
thinking straight with somecertain things.
Like, okay, like bro, likethat's not fair to you know,
excuse me, that's not fair tosay that to Invincible like you
know, shit like that.
But, um, in typical delusionalVillain fashion, scott ends up

(38:30):
blaming Mark For their deathanyways and vowed vengeance on
him.
Robot managed to Make a beltfor Monster Girl To negate her
curse.
Shrink Ray decides to quit theGuardians.
The Tombstone knockoff Finds outthat the former Kingpin Machine
Head was working under someoneelse, a man who becomes a dragon

(38:52):
, with Multipaw being one of hisbest assassins.
He needed to get Multipaw outof jail.
So when they did the wholeprison break to get Multipaw out
, they also freed Power Plex.
Angstrom comes back again youknow, he didn't actually die and
this time he got an army ofInvincibles uh, to Attack Earth.

(39:14):
Rex dies While taking one oftheir berries with him and Robot
takes his name to Honor hismemory.
See, it's bad enough that youtake His likeness, but you wanna
take his name too Really, likebro, like it's like.
Trying to take his name tooReally, like bro, like it's like
trying to destroy his image.
Yeah it's.
It's almost like he kind ofmeans well, but he's going about

(39:39):
it in a very creepy way.
It's that sense of justicepeople have.
Yeah, like justice bitch fromAkime Gatil is like I kinda get
where you're coming from, butlike bro, you don't even have to
go that far with it dog.
And lastly, conquest he pulls upthe earth to fight Invincible.

(40:03):
Also, he achieved Avatar State, like she did in um, her special
episode, uh, adam ease and.
But the thing is her powersunstealed because her clothes
and mark's clothes was likemelting when they were like
doing it.
And oh yeah, ceasar alsopreserved conquest for later,
because once again, you don'tlet talent like that goes away.

(40:26):
So, and that's why I kind ofunderstand mark coming from to
where, uh, he has reason to nottrust cecil.
But at the same time, cecil'snot really the bad guy.
It's just more like he clearlytreading the shades of gray on
protecting the earth by anymeans necessary.

(40:46):
But you know he's bad enough towhere he hired uh that ezra
miller looking scientist to makethose, uh, cyborg men as like a
attack force.
So on the one hand, it's likehe's not a bad guy, but I don't

(41:06):
trust the way he's moving I mean, I, I, yeah, what.

Speaker 3 (41:09):
What made me kind of listen?
I get it, but it's this, it'sthe shit he does like what was
his assistant name?
I forgot to go to the glassdonald yeah, you know how he
kept with donald alive like thiswhole time, but he was a
fucking android of himself.
He was a whole cockpit fromstuff over and over.

Speaker 1 (41:25):
Not only that, but it wasn't even the first time he
died.
That's the crazy part.
I was like, damn bro, like you, you, I got for this like they
were going through donald's lifeagain, cartridges like or
something like I don't know youfeel me Like fucking Kenny from

(41:46):
South Park.
Yeah, that's what it is.

Speaker 2 (41:50):
You just keep respawning for some reason you
killed Donald.

Speaker 3 (41:55):
You bastard.
We need to come back to thisfucking episode.
What the fuck.

Speaker 1 (42:00):
Yeah, like almost like nothing happened.
But that's the crazy part.
Where?
How far is this gonna go to?
Where, if other heroes orpeople of the forest keep dying
and ceaseless, like all right, well, uh, preserve their dna,
get a exoskeleton, like we justgonna like, make another one.

(42:22):
And then eventually everybody'sjust gonna like uh, rise up and
be like we ain't gonna takethis anymore, like you using us
like meat puppets and whatnot.
You know, like it got me reallyhyped for what's coming later
down the line, like especiallyhearing about thrag, who's

(42:42):
supposed to like this main boyin the duals with my empire.
I think he's like the kingthere.
But bro, like I can't wait tosee how all this plays out.
But I wonder about y'all, howy'all feeling about season three
, how y'all feeling about theseries as a whole right now?
Y'all got anything?

Speaker 3 (43:09):
Shit.
Season three.
Yeah, For me season three wasmore.
I ain't gonna lie, I was.
I was more locked in for allthe fight scenes like let's talk
.
Let's talk about how oliverwanted to be a badass and run up
on conquest.
That was a fucking smack he'snot, he's, yeah, that's okay for
the concrete dude, that shitwas crazy.
The whole fight, that shit'slike what.
The whole episode I don't lie,I don't lie, I don't lie.

(43:32):
Man, I kind of feel like inreal time he probably would have
won that shit if the showwasn't called In Depth.
He would put Bill.

Speaker 1 (43:42):
Yeah, we can't hear you.
Who me?
No, I was talking to Tub, likesomething that's going on with
his audience.

Speaker 3 (43:50):
Oh, it said he muted yeah On my screen.
I mean, I didn't mute him oh,it said he muted yeah on my
screen.
I mean, I didn't mute him.

Speaker 1 (43:55):
I think it's like low or something like that.
Almost like maybe the volume islike way low.
I don't know, because you'renot muted, but we can't hear you
yeah you're not muted.
No, but uh, what you weresaying, playboy bought on season

(44:17):
three oh yeah, I was talkingabout like the fight scene.

Speaker 3 (44:21):
For me, like it was a lot of action, feel like I was
kind of like waiting for, likeit was kind of like the final
boss fight of a whole game.
Like when he got a conquestbecause he was putting built the
ass man, I wouldn't say he wason like new gen villain type
energy, yeah, but I definitelyfelt like, okay, the build-up to
him, like the whole built yourmic fight, the whole invasion,

(44:45):
the whole.
Like when nolan and his I meanwhen mark and nolan was to be
toing and fighting the bilgemight, that shit was Nice, I
ain't gonna lie the female Bilgemight she was really Whooping
him.
Like that was a good assfucking.

Speaker 1 (44:57):
Oh, man, you know what.
You just reminded me, like IWas gonna repress this In my
memory, but I'm like I didn'treally Read the comments.
But, man, let me tell you, people keep Spoiling some things
.
That happens in the commentswhere I'm like, bro, the one

(45:21):
thing I'm not looking forward togoing forward into this series,
the fact that, um, let's justsay, uh, anissa, uh, I gotta put
this out, I gotta put this.
Look at boy, I like you and Iwant you.

(45:43):
Now, we can do this the easyway or the hard way.
I didn't like that part becauseI'm like, bro, it's bad enough
that Mark can't catch a break.
Now, on top of that, it's likeyou're trying to jump on his
bones with some snooze type shit.
And I'm like, bro, I don't wantyour throat, I don't want that

(46:07):
shit.

Speaker 3 (46:09):
Yeah, that was another thing.
Even when my boy kept, evenwhen he did get a W, he had no
time to rest, so it's like hewas almost forced to take a
fucking L.
Man, my boy couldn't get abreak from nothing.
I'm talking about right afterthe fights.
Conquist pull up like no timeto rest, man.

Speaker 1 (46:31):
Yeah, tuck, you still got some problem with your
audio.
Yeah, damn, wait, I heardsomething.
Nah, I still can't hear shit.
My bad man like I.

(46:52):
I hear the lips moving, but Ican't hear you.
Bro, I'm sorry.
Ah, damn, it's almost like umthe main event, we're at the
main event and then you're likebehind the glass just banging
the door like let me in, let mein.
I'm sorry, but God you know, maybe, um, we'll do the extended

(47:24):
cut.
Try to get your perspective oneverything Once you get um,
that's it to wait, but uh, butmost part I'm kind of spent on
all three season Like, but mostpart I think Invincible's pretty
good.
Like I want to say I want togive it a 9.5 out of 10.

(47:48):
Like it's damn near perfect.
It's just, I guess sometimes, with the way they animate shit,
like especially when um mark andamber was having like
relationship problems and whileuh, mark was talking to art and
amber was talking to I think itwas either eve or someone else,

(48:08):
I think it was william somebodyuh, it was almost like they had
this slideshow like thing goingon.
I'm like it would have beenbetter if we just edited that
shit out, just snap that, playthrough it as soon as Mark says
one thing and you pan over theend but just snap, what are you
doing?
You're doing extra shit.

(48:29):
That's just.
You're making us watch twoextra seconds of them trying to
do something.
And I'm like, nah, bro, if youwant to be more effective, you
need to have more brevity.
To where I'm like just go aheadand just immediately pan to
this other person.
So it's like okay, I kind ofsee where I'm going with this.

(48:49):
It's cool.
Um, that's one thing.
I guess the whole thing withmark and amber in season one,
that's another thing that pissedme off.
Uh, the whole thing with adame's backstory, where not only
did you have like some shittyass parents, but her friend I

(49:11):
think it's hypocritical how shewas acting like oh well, you're
not weirder than me.
And then next thing, you knowyou've got her powers and I'm
like no, no, no, hold on this istoo weird for me.
Like no, hold on what?
You?
What's all that shit you saidearlier when you first met, like
I thought you weren't weird.
I thought it wasn't weirderthan you.
Like what's going on?
But I don't know.
It just felt like a littlehypocritical and weird that she

(49:35):
had to like oh yeah, like you'renot weird enough for me, you're
not too weird for me, excuse me.
But then, as soon as he evenhad his powers, like oh yeah, no
, I thought he was just a normalperson, but I can't handle this
a normal person, but I can'thandle this.
And also the whole thing withthe clones, that was kind of bad

(49:59):
.
And the fact that Eve's realmother died during the whole
procedure and her, I want to saylike her foster parents or
adoptive parents, becausethey're not their, they're not
her biological parents.
She just got switched at birth.
But oh yeah, the main thingthat pissed me off about these

(50:22):
parents is the fact that how thefuck you're going to act like
you were so distraught when youfound out that your baby died
during childbirth but then when,oh, our baby actually survived,
she didn't, but you know, switch that birth, remember, uh?

(50:44):
But then you take your daughterhome and all that other shit
and you just treat her likegarbage for some reason, like
bro, like I just don'tunderstand, like how you gonna
act.
Like you were so broken upabout losing your child and then
you treated like shit as soonas you finally, that's a new

(51:05):
part.
Yeah, we hear you now.
Wow, yeah, crazy right right atthe end but um, yeah, right,
but um, well, now that youraudio is working on, how are you
feeling about invincible?

Speaker 2 (51:25):
now I can barely hear you.
You said how did I feel aboutinvincible?

Speaker 1 (51:28):
yeah, my bad, I need to um pull my mic.

Speaker 2 (51:32):
I love the character Conquest.
I think he's a dope character.
The introduction of him is good.
Did you already go into thecallback to what's the other
show?

Speaker 1 (51:46):
Other show.
What'd you say, nah?
What was the other show?
I can't hear what you said.
What'd you say, nah, I wasasking you what other show.

Speaker 2 (51:57):
Oh, the, the other zombie show where they was
killing the zombies.
The voice characters For Markand Conquest.

Speaker 1 (52:10):
Dang, like I don't think.
I've seen that one.
Oh you mother.
No, okay, okay, no, I got you,I got because.
Yeah, because steven yoon isglenn from walking dead and also
, uh, conquest is voiced byjeffrey d morgan, who was negan
from walking dead, and it waslike the rematch of the decade.

(52:33):
Okay, I was like figuring outwhat other show you talking
about.
Oh, right, right, right, right, right, bro.
Actually funny enough, that'swhen I fell off from Walking
Dead.
As soon as Negan got introduced, I just fell off from there.

Speaker 2 (52:48):
Yo, I don't really watch the Walking Dead, but I
did know that it was Kobe.

Speaker 1 (52:53):
Johnson.
Okay, I can't say that becauseI watched one piece, but in a
way it's like okay, I'm hearingthat all these different people
keep dying, and it's on to apoint to like why are y'all
still doing this shit?
I don't know, that's mepersonally.
You know, Angman, we're goingto do a stream review on it next
year anyway.
So yeah, we're gonna do it nextyear anyway.

(53:16):
So like, we'll talk about it,but yeah, yeah.

Speaker 2 (53:18):
Yeah, we can see Alright and y'all coming across
better.
I don't know why the end ofwhen they do that, but
Nevertheless this is where we atso um, y'all just going through
season three.

Speaker 1 (53:31):
Well, we were Blazing through all three seasons, so
like we were just asking how youfeel about Invincible as a
whole, Like everything thathappened so far.

Speaker 2 (53:41):
I think the daddy Omni-Man, he's disrespectful,
he's the most disrespectfulperson ever.
I would not expect nothing fromwell.

Speaker 1 (53:52):
I do expect a turn, because I mean, after trying to
get Spiderman after so long, butno, no no, I think it's funny
how, when he did kill theGuardians of the Globe and then
he gave that speech and shit,I'm like you, motherfucker, how
dare you stand where you stood.

Speaker 2 (54:11):
How do you give a speech at the funeral for the
people you killed.
You got a lot of nervemotherfucker.

Speaker 1 (54:19):
I'm like those are fine ass.
Ladies and gentlemen that Iworked with, I'm like you,
motherfucker.

Speaker 2 (54:24):
He looked so sad too.
That's what's crazy he gavethat.

Speaker 1 (54:28):
Reiner and Bert's whole performance.
He looked down on their headfor that one.

Speaker 2 (54:34):
I'm fin to post that on tiktok he was.

Speaker 1 (54:36):
He was gone.
He was trying to get an oscarfor that speech bro what?

Speaker 2 (54:43):
that's one of the iconic speeches in anime.

Speaker 1 (54:45):
It's sort of like well that is it's not technical
anime.
It's animated yeah, and itmakes you like.

Speaker 2 (54:51):
Like what's the name from Attack on Titan Erwin.

Speaker 3 (54:57):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (54:57):
Captain Erwin Boy, that was a good speech too, yeah
that's great.

Speaker 1 (55:02):
That was like on the almost to level, like oh my,
like no, you know what.
It's crazy Like he did have agreat speech, but it's like yeah
ah, it's crazy, like he didhave a great speech, but it's
like make you want to runthrough a big wall.
He makes you feel like calmingup from girl and gone to where.
He makes you want to believe inyourself, even though, like
he's like believe in the me thatbelieves in you.

(55:24):
I'm like you know what man like.
I don't know why, but myconfidence like went from zero
to 100.

Speaker 2 (55:28):
Okay, I'll, I'll try it shows the range of voice
actors, even like Captain Irwinplayed.
He's the same voice actor forCaptain Irwin played Ingenium in
Minority Connection.
It's just crazy, I didn't knowthat.
Such a quirky character, okay,okay.

Speaker 1 (55:46):
But yeah.

Speaker 2 (55:48):
Back into Invisible.
Though I like the characterbuilding on the other characters
besides the main characters,it's hard to flesh out side
characters.
Even, like she said, he hadproblems trying to flesh out
side characters.
When you're doing these sidecharacters, you gotta give them
depth, the way that his momcared to evolve and show

(56:12):
different emotions, differenttypes of grief, dating.
So I'm just showcasing stufflike that man.
That was a dope way tointroduce the character and
bring her into the whole.

Speaker 1 (56:21):
It just make you more invested into the story that I
think I do agree, and I think itwas kind of fucked up how she
went to that meeting, you know, like you know she was dealing
with Nolan being who he is andthey were talking to people and
she made a friend there.

(56:41):
And then next thing, you know, she tells him like, oh well, you
know, I feel I think for thebest to tell you like, yeah, my
husband was omni-man, like what, your husband was omni-man, he,
after all this shit.
No, get away from me, you'renot allowed to go to the gay
room.
No, no, I didn't know who hewas.
No, you should have.
I'm like how is that even fair, dog?

Speaker 2 (57:06):
How is that even fair ?
She lived a terrible life, butyou know, what's crazy.
People that know, like the dudethat she's talking to, that
know, I don't remember his name,is it Paul?

Speaker 1 (57:20):
yeah, yeah, yeah the other guy, yeah, yeah, the
boyfriend the non hero dude.

Speaker 2 (57:26):
It's like what can you do after that?

Speaker 1 (57:28):
and you know Omni-Man's coming back into the
story and you know what's gonnahappen to him no, no, it's gonna
be crazy, like I'm suspectingOmni-Man's coming back into the
story and you know what's goingto happen to him.
No, no, it's going to be crazy.
I'm suspecting that he's goingto be cool about it at first.
It's going to be like thatending to the Adam Eve special
to where Debbie told him youdeal with the dishes, I'll take

(57:53):
care of the boy.
He was ready to like crash outon her for some reason, yeah,
but like he was like okay, there's pullback, pullback, hold
on.
Like I'm trying to do better.
You know that type of shit, thattype of move, and that's how
it's gonna feel with Paul towhere he's gonna be like okay,

(58:15):
well, to be fair, I did likemove on like fairly quickly with
that inset wife that I had andhave the baby.
So I can't really blame you formoving on like he's gonna be
cool with that first, but thenhe's like I kind of miss my wife
.
I want my wife, you, you, youneed to get the hell out like
you're gonna kill him bro.
No, that's the thing eithereither you can leave or I'm
gonna kill you, but you're gonnaleave her alone nah, he gonna

(58:38):
kill him yeah, like it'sprobably gonna come down to that
, but like he's gonna at leasttry to spare him, like he's
gonna come close and thenbecause he ain't gonna have no
choice but to do that because hewon't damn you back, then he's
gonna try to be nice a littlebit.

Speaker 2 (58:53):
that because he want Demi back man, he gonna try to
be nice a little bit and pretendlike he's in, change his ways
and whatnot.

Speaker 1 (59:00):
I just want us to be a family again, but you killed
my boyfriend.

Speaker 2 (59:04):
He sound like a regular Demi you had your fun
with him.

Speaker 1 (59:08):
I'm back, so he's gone now.

Speaker 2 (59:11):
Yo, what's crazy.
She raising the nigga's son.
That shit crazy, ain't ithypocrisy and that nigga crazier
.
I don't know what to tell you.
That boy ain't right, ain'tcute, he is crazy.

(59:35):
He probably gonna be crazierthan Hunter.
I'm thinking about it.
Probably maybe.
But yeah, the stories andcharacters and my favorite, my
favorite character of season 3.
He doesn't even have a name,just a purpose.
I'm so wrong.

(59:59):
I'm a victim of my own success.

Speaker 1 (01:00:03):
I'm like bro, that's a bar right there.

Speaker 2 (01:00:08):
That is crazy.
He said they're just so scaredof me, Bro, that man is crazy.
You don't understand that soscared of me, Bro.

Speaker 1 (01:00:16):
That man is crazy.
You don't understand that.
I do this shit for fun, dog.

Speaker 2 (01:00:21):
Do you think Mark would have stood a chance, even
if he was, like, fully rested?

Speaker 1 (01:00:27):
Nah see, because he had, he kind of had Eve to kind
of like give him some sort ofsupport.
While you know kind of of likegive him some sort of support,
while you know kind of like givehim that boost that he needed,
that raise that he needed tofinish off Conquest, you know
that hero moment.
If it was just Mark and him, Idon't know, that might be a
different story.

Speaker 2 (01:00:48):
Yeah, because it's like he was fighting Rocky
Balboa after fighting Creed live, so it don't make sense.

Speaker 1 (01:00:58):
Yeah, it's like you're gonna take that gong of
his and just beat your fuckingface in Bro.
He almost ripped Oliver in halfthe way.
Oh no, no, no, it's not funny, but it kind of is when Oliver
was flying in to try to helpMark from Conquest and then

(01:01:22):
Conquest fucking swatted him tothe ground, I'm like damn thank
you, oliver, thank you oh shityeah.

Speaker 2 (01:01:34):
Oliver's a good character too.
It's gonna be.
I'm interested in what they'regonna do with the character as
far as his development.

Speaker 1 (01:01:41):
Is he gonna go down the mentally unstable path like
his father before him, or willthe right from debbie and mike
oh, I was saying like either hecan either go the bright burn
route or you can go like thegohan goten route oh yeah, I
didn't think about that.

Speaker 2 (01:01:58):
Yeah, he can go full rock lee yeah, yeah, just wasted
potential.

Speaker 1 (01:02:04):
Speaking of but um and neji, oh, neji, goddamn um.
Speaking of developments, howdo you felt about mark and
amber's relationship?
Because, like, first of all, itdid kind of come off a little
toxic at first, but then by thetime they finally broke up it

(01:02:25):
seemed like they were better asfriends and as a couple.
But with amber, like she hadher history of uh exes that like
did her wrong, did her dirty orwhatnot, but like she was
suspecting mark of maybe beingup to something, even though he
was a hero.
You know, you guys, secretidentity, all that shit.
And then the one thing thatpissed everybody off, it's the

(01:02:45):
fact that she tried to act like,oh, she knew the whole time,
but like there was no indicationthat you knew.
So I'm like I feel like you justtry to get ahead, just uh, get
a one-up on him to say like, ohwell, you know, I knew that the
whole time.
I just wish you were honestabout you know, trying to um,
put him in the hot seat, like, but I'm like, bro, like dude was

(01:03:09):
doing the best he can, he justhe telling you that he's a hero,
otherwise you could be a targetfor villains to kidnap you and
all that.
See, the whole thing withanissa the fact that you were on
a date with um, that she was ona date with him and anissa knew

(01:03:31):
who mark was, even his heroname, and she was like, all
right, invincible, check thisout, either come with me or the
woman dies.
See, that's what I'm saying.
I'm like Amber, underestimateshit like that to where.
I'm like you probably wouldhave been the best, like if
we're dating, I'm like probablyfor the best not to know that

(01:03:52):
I'm Ashley Hero otherwisethey'll come for you.

Speaker 2 (01:04:01):
Yep, superman and clark kent classic scenario.
The batman was right, all right.
So I hearken it to this.
You see, people in the militaryalways prone to dating other
people in the military, orveterans or people of that
nature, because they tend tounderstand.
You don't have to explain stuff.
You know what I mean.
So I know, as a connoisseur ofbaby mamas, I am, and my mentor

(01:04:24):
you know, dr Umar, I should be,should be team Amber, and I'm
with that.
Her juice box is probably juicy, however, I'm with that.
Her juice box probably juicy.
However, I'm also team Adam E,because the fire you can make
two heroes together, saving theworld and the justice and smiles

(01:04:47):
that All Might would like, I'mgonna take.

Speaker 1 (01:04:52):
Speaking of baby mamas, you ready for Tales of
Wedding Rings to come back nextyear?

Speaker 2 (01:05:00):
Lord, all the baby mamas in that, all the baby
mamas, but there's one baby mamathat is above them all and she
is the queen of the cats.
Oh, I forgot her name, but sheis the queen of the cats and
forgot her name.
But she is the queen of thecats and oh, she's so long and
she's mean.
I like her.

(01:05:20):
You ever seen what's that show?
Oh, you seen Black Clover yesyou know, I like mean fire
characters, right oh, so youlike Leona, right?

Speaker 1 (01:05:35):
yeah, yeah, yeah, no, I've, no, I get it, I get it, I
get that yeah, that's my thing.

Speaker 2 (01:05:47):
I also like peaceful characters like I, like people
that ain't really trying to donothing, put into precarious
situations.
That's why I put rene good andthat's why I like the main
character from Tokyo Ghoul.
Well, season one, season one, okay, alright, okay, and Mark is
the same way, though Mark wasthe exact same way.

(01:06:07):
He's all you want to do is dogood.
You want to save people.
He also want to be a classicteenager, but for some reason he
can't because dad is army man, army man is evil.
Then all those stuff justhappen.
Then it's the multiverse ofMarvel.
They introduced the multiverseprobably too quickly too.
That's the fourth level, theMarvel stuff.

(01:06:29):
Multiverse of madness, multiverse of marks Like crazy.
Multiverse of madness, multiverse of marks, like crazy.
But yeah, that's all I reallyhad on it, jerry gotcha.

Speaker 1 (01:06:42):
Uh boy boy, you got anything.
You want to weigh in on that?
You want to add on to that?

Speaker 3 (01:06:48):
um, no, I don't want to get most of my key points out
on it.
Like I said, there's reallymore sort of action for me
towards the end of season three.
Yeah, I see I'm going to buildup during season one and season
two Kind of kill me going.

Speaker 2 (01:07:03):
What was your favorite fight of all three
seasons?

Speaker 3 (01:07:06):
Favorite fight man.
Oh shit, I ain't gonna lie, because when battle battle,
beast be snapping yeah but I'llsay favorite fight.
I'd have to give it to still.
I still have to give it damn, some good ones.

(01:07:27):
But I'm gonna have to give itto um, mark and his dad versus,
uh, the other two virtual mice, the two v2.

Speaker 1 (01:07:34):
I like that one that was on season two.
That was a close fight.
Yeah, that was a close fight.
Okay, see, I would have gave itto Mark versus Conquest.
But then the more they keptgoing on, the more I just felt
like Mark versus Nolan part two, especially with the whole oh
hey, conquest grabbing him bythe hip, um like forcing him to

(01:07:56):
you know, the same thing, umnolan did to him in that train
scene in season one, he's gottado the same thing in season
three.
I'm like, bro, this just feelslike you're trying to replicate
mark versus nolan again.

Speaker 3 (01:08:08):
I'm like I kind of wish you were a little bit more
original than that yeah, it'slike he saw that fight on
YouTube and tried to do thatshit again.

Speaker 1 (01:08:18):
Yeah, but, uh, I would say, damn, like if I were
to give it a real fight, likenah, nah, nah, man, he was like
getting his ass beat by battlebeats.
That did it, because I'm likeshit, like he almost lost his
life for real, like, see, thething is but no one like that

(01:08:45):
wasn't a fight man.

Speaker 3 (01:08:46):
Battle beats was putting him down the ass man
that man came like.
Is there no one worthy ofchallenging me?
I'm like, fuck, I don't thinkso damn.

Speaker 1 (01:09:01):
I am kind of glad he came back in season 3 and I'm
hoping to see more of him futureseasons.
But yeah, aside from that, Istill stand by my 9.5 out of 10.
It was damn near perfect.
But there's like just someelements where I'm like it kind
of pissed me off in some areas, like what I kind of, what I what

(01:09:23):
I didn't like was um, because Imissed some details until one
of my co-workers pointed it outto me.

Speaker 3 (01:09:29):
He was asking me about something and I completely
didn't understand what theywere talking about.
But I saw the episode before.
Um, it's after the credits.
When they have like this extradetail, this extra part, that's
the scene right before the nextepisode.
So it was like sometimes whenyou go to the next episode there
might be like a conversation orsomething that just happened

(01:09:51):
and I'd be like kind of confused, but then they might go back to
it later in the episode.
But like there was one instanceI think it was when the um, the
twins, um, they had some segmentafter after come, uh, after the
end credits that were so goingto increase, come on, but see it
, don't do that for every singleepisode.

(01:10:12):
I don't know exactly when theystarted it, because I I end up
going back to episode one to seewhich all ones I missed, but
all of them don't have it.
So that was another thing thatkind of annoyed me, because I'm
like, damn, I gotta go back tosome episodes I've seen to see
if I missed a certain detailbecause they threw it at the end
.
It's kind of like.

Speaker 1 (01:10:30):
It's kind of like I don't know man, it's like
leaving a marvel, it's likeleaving the theater.
Uh, during mcu movie I like bro, you should know better than
that.
They're gonna throw somethingin the credits though yeah, yeah
, yeah, kind of like the movies.

Speaker 3 (01:10:43):
Yeah, let's shit like that man.
But it's like they did it onsome episodes and not the other.
So it's like uh, do I stay forthis or do I skip the fucking
episode?

Speaker 1 (01:10:50):
go through now yeah, that's why I like to scroll
through Facebook or whatnot theday of or the day before going
to the movies, because by thenthey'll tell us whether or not
there's going to be like one ortwo post-credits scenes.
So like, all right, cool, sojust stick around for the
post-credits scene.
But if they don't tell me shit,I'm like, oh well, damn, like,
apparently, I guess, once themovie was over, it was like

(01:11:14):
Infinity War, it's where likehalf of the Avengers, half of
the universe, got snapped away, and then it's like no
post-credits scene, nothing likethat.
No, you're just going to sit onit, you're just going to have
to wait until the end of thegame.
I'm like, really, that's howy'all feel, yeah, yeah, but yeah

(01:11:34):
, I feel you, um, yeah, that wasall I had to say on invincible
can't wait for season four.
Uh, we're gonna have to work onsome more reviews in the
meantime.
So until then, y'all stay nerdy.
Remember that great things arecoming.
Have, have yourself a goodmorning, good afternoon, good
evening, good night, butultimately, take it easy, we're

(01:11:58):
zoning up out of here.
