A mermaid saves a boy who can’t swim, and the law says someone must die—unless they marry. That’s the chaotic heart of My Bride Is a Mermaid, and we had way too much fun digging into how this rom‑com turns a deadly premise into pure comfort viewing. We talk through the early slow burn, the flip into high‑tempo mini‑arcs, and why the jokes land harder when the straight man (hi, Nagasumi) is surrounded by mer‑yakuza parents masquerading as school staff.

Sun Seto’s honor code, swordplay, and perfectly timed enka stings make her both lovable and lethal, while Lunar’s idol‑drama rivalry keeps the energy spiky and unpredictable. We unpack the promise‑ring tenderness, the infamous love potion twist, and the ongoing “chemistry vs. circumstance” question that gives the relationship its tension. Add in Masa’s cool mystery, Shark’s blissfully simple solutions, and a parade of side characters who each bring a distinct gag engine, and you get a show that’s easy to rewatch and even easier to quote.

We also shout out the art direction and parody chops—JoJo nods, Dragon Ball winks, and sharp reaction shots that sell the punchlines without cheapening the world. If you’ve been hunting for a rom‑com that blends slice‑of‑life warmth with yakuza absurdity and school‑yard spectacle, this one still hits. We landed on an 8.5/10: not flawless, but endlessly watchable, with character work that outlives the bits.

SPEAKER_04 (00:01):
What up, gang?
It's your host, JeffBlackestream.
Feel free to call me JD, and wegot another review for you.
Let's talk about My Bride is aMermaid.
And Setting Phantom, I am soglad to have you on for this one
because honestly, this anime isa guilty pleasure of mine.
Like it's a rom-com spice oflife anime where you have

(00:26):
likable characters, you have allthese funny ass gags, and it's
one of the comfort show for me.
Like it's one of those comfortshows where I can just re-watch
these over and over, kinda likewhat I did the past few days.
Um, I was thinking, hey, yo, youknow what?
I haven't watched my brides andmermaid in a while.

(00:47):
Let me just go back and watchthat.
And I just I will like watch itand to a point to where I'll
even fall asleep on it.
Like, not to say it was boring, but you know, like you have
those shows where you're justwatching it and you don't mind
if it's like you uh let the showwatch you and you wake up and I

(01:08):
don't know.
Uh me personally, I'm one ofthose people where I don't like
going to bed with the TV offbecause I'm just gonna get
paranoid, like something mightbe creeping around in my room,
and I'm like, what the fuck isthat?
I'm gonna say it's more likewhite noise for me.

(01:28):
Like having the TV on while I'msleeping is like white noise to
me, it's like kind of helps mesleep.
And my briad the mermaid is oneof those shows where I watched
it so many times that I couldjust put it on, it helps me
sleep.
And I wake up in the morning, get a little laugh, and I'm
like, you know what?
Today might be a good day.

(01:50):
But let's go ahead and talkabout the plot.
So the story of Mont Briot theMermaid revolves around this
young boy named Nagasu Miccio.
And one day during this summervacation with his family at the
South Inland Sea, he saved by hewas drowning in the sea because
he doesn't know how to swim, andhe was saved by a mermaid named

(02:12):
Sun Setto.
And under mermaid law, however, either the mermaid whose
identity was revealed or thehuman who saw the mermaid must
be executed, and in an attemptto save both their lives.
The Sun fan, the Setto family,uh where, by the way, most of

(02:33):
these mermaids in this anime isYakuza, so it's best some hitman
mafia shenanigans.
They reluctantly decide that theonly way for both of them to lit
it up is if they got married.
So that way, if not as soon aspart of the family, then oh

(02:54):
well, no harm, no foul, then.
But let's just say son's fathergozeburo don't like that.
He damn, I kind of wishKokugatsu and some other uh
father uh members of the innercircles on this one because I
think they will appreciate howmuch love gozeboro has for Son,

(03:18):
but it kind of gets a little tooextreme.
But between Ghostaburo'sconstant attempt on his life and
the madcap antics with a splueantagonist coming along the way,
Nagasumi's gonna have a hardtime transitioning into his new
merry lifestyle.
And there's a bunch of things Iwant to say, but before I even

(03:39):
get into that, Sadie, how youfeel about my Brightest Mermaid?

SPEAKER_00 (03:44):
This anime, and I know I say this all the time,
this anime is actually reallycute, and I have to agree with
you.
It's one of the ones that youjust want to keep coming back to
as like a comfort anime.
I first saw this anime back inlike middle school, like way,
way long time ago.
And I read the manga.
I thought, oh, this is just it'sit's cute, you know?

(04:07):
It has lovable, relatablecharacters.
Just I enjoyed it thoroughly.
There were some parts that mademe a little bit iffy, and I'll
get into that a little bitlater.
But other than that, I thoughtit was a very cute slice of like
romance anime right up my wheelof house, you know.

SPEAKER_04 (04:27):
Right.
I'm doing and as far as theplot, I want to say to those who
never watched it, I dare saygive the whole anime a chance,
but not gonna lie, the firstfour episodes is gonna feel slow
compared to everything else thatfollows after that.

(04:47):
Like once you get to episodefive, you're about to see some
really funny shit.
Uh not much to say about theplot outside of the premise
already, and you know, it's intypical anime fashion, uh, where
it's one of those anime whereit's mainly about them getting
into some shenanigans, and thenat the last minute, like, well,

(05:10):
let me take that back.
There's like some mini arcs inbetween, but it doesn't last
more than like two episodeseach.
Like they might have a littlemini arc, um, two-part episode,
like a two-episode arc every nowand then.
But outside of that, it ain'tthat deep.

(05:32):
Uh I will get to a park in amoment, but honestly, I would
say the music selection is okay.
The artwork is great, especiallyoh man, listen, where they do
these references, like say JoJo,Dragon Ball Z, and others, where

(05:55):
I'm like, Okay, I get thatreference.
Okay.
Uh it's mainly the charactersthat carries this anime where
they have a charm of their own,but not all of them.
Now, let me explain.
Nanga Sumi.
I'm gonna be honest with you.

(06:16):
Nangasumi is like a mixed bagfor me.
Like, as a main character, okay,he's one of the more sensible
people, and that's fine becauselike I told Tonara when we were
doing what was it?

SPEAKER_03 (06:30):
Ah, damn, damn, damn, damn.

SPEAKER_04 (06:33):
I know we just refused something.
Uh it was something for sure.
Dandon, that's right.
It was the ended and where I wassaying that if everybody in that
anime had a party map, then it'slike it does, it's not that
special.
So here I'm saying that there'sthis thing to where sometimes if

(06:59):
everybody's weird, then nobodyreally is, and then it's like,
eh, all right, fine.
It's almost like when you havethat sensible character
involved, it kind of makes theweird shit even funnier because
you have that one person that'slike the counterbalance where,
like, what the fuck is going onhere?

(07:19):
You know, like I know, right?
Uh I don't know.
It's almost like it's betterwhen there's at least one person
that's like the same person kindof commentating on the insanity
that's going on.
But uh with Nagasumi, it's likehe kind of comes off the he kind

(07:42):
of a bitch.
He he's he's kind of a bitch.
I'm sorry, but listen, like hiswhole arc is trying to be more
of a man, but he keeps gettingemasculated every now and then
by circumstances, whether it'sMonkey or maybe uh somebody from
the setup family where it hedoes have his moments where he

(08:06):
does shine, but it's just likeeh, you know, I don't know, he
just kind of come up a littlebit made, but then again, I
don't blame him because let'stalk about his father for a
minute.
Because with his father, he'slike this normal dude up until

(08:28):
they meet the um Sun family, thesettle families, excuse me, and
Monster.
Oh my god, Monster.
I'm gonna go into detail withMonster later, but the whole
point being is that Monster'slike this rugged, handsome,
aloof dude that he he's cool,he's cool though, and it's like

(08:50):
the mother and Nagasumi likekind of have a little crush on
him, and the father's like, ohman, like he's kind of coming
off a little bitch made himself, where it just feels like he's
barely even trying to win backhis family.
Listen, first of all, the factthat he cried to Masa talking

(09:12):
about, give me my family back, and Masa was like, Bro, like, I
ain't watching.
And then later in the anime, when there was like some chaos
going on, and I guess Nagasumiwas wondering, um, what's going
on with uh my dad or whatnot.
And then here he was at theplayground on a swing set

(09:35):
talking about I used to have awife and son that loved me.
And I'm like, damn, damn.
I'm like, bro, bro, barely gotany fight in him.
Like, even in during the dinnerscenes where everybody was
eating, and he was like, Hey,honey, can I get some more food?
And everybody was just ignoringhim.

(09:56):
I'm like, Hey, what about me uphere?
I'm like, bro, like you need tohave some more agency into that.
Now, the mother, I don't gotmuch to say.
Like, outside of she can be kindof a hothead, and it's crazy how
there's this one episode withthe love post, and that I'm

(10:18):
gonna uh go into more detaillater.
But the mother, it seems likeshe wears the pants and the uh
whole like she's like the realhead of the household, and she's
like kinda uh make the fatherlook like a bitch, and then also

(10:41):
with Naga Sumi, she's like, Oh,well, you know, you're my son
and I love you, but when thelove post in the episode and he,
you know, he looked like whoeveruh she was attracted to, and
surprise, surprise, Nagasumi waslooking like a mana in that
episode to her, and she waslike, Oh, well, you didn't have

(11:03):
these rugged looks before, it'slike you just had this dull,
featureless face.
I'm like, damn, like that's howyou're feeling about your
gunning husband.
Damn, okay.
Uh the grandmother, she's one ofthe other sensible people in the
show, but you barely hear fromher after the fourth episode.

(11:25):
Like, she was just there for uha little while, and then you
know, yeah.
But uh, yeah, anything add on toNagasumi and his family, Sebi.

SPEAKER_00 (11:40):
Um, when you were talking about Nagasumi's mother
in like the first manga portion, literally, they go, She's a
narcissist, like yeah, she's aflat-out narcissist, and she
does not like don't get don'tget her wrong.
I she probably loves her husbandand her son, but literally, she
comes out full-blown, likeverbally abused, to me at least.

(12:06):
Like, she has no moral basis.

SPEAKER_04 (12:10):
Like, I wouldn't say just verbal, it's kind of
physical too.
You know, that one part where uhthe father walked into the
kitchen thinking that was hiswife, but it was actually his
son, and he was having likeflashback to when he was young
with his wife and whatnot, andthen she showed up, man.
Like, what are you looking at?

SPEAKER_05 (12:27):
And I'm like, um, nothing, you know.
I thought it was you, you know.
Um, oh, so you're like younggirls, huh?
What's up about being young,huh?
I'm like, bro, like I made anodd mistake.
I didn't know shit.

SPEAKER_00 (12:45):
Literally, and then when she in episode one, when
she used her um her husband as ashield to protect herself, like
get over here.
She's she's something, and thenNagasumi, he gives such main
character energy, it's kind ofcrazy.
He's the average boy, the blackhair, the blue eyes, the

(13:08):
average.
I'm kind of there.
They just spend the cookie intosome dough and said, have a main
character.
That's exactly what they did.
They picked the most genericcooking thing and said, Yep,
there we go.
And then his father, and I agreewith the grandmother, you kind

(13:29):
of lose interest after thefourth episode.
But he's all but the father'salso really like a neglectful,
abusive person, too.
Like he considers him a loser tothe family and favor son more.
Like, this is the daughter Icould I've never had, and then

(13:51):
is like oh wow, dad.

SPEAKER_04 (13:53):
Okay.

SPEAKER_00 (13:54):
Okay, but he's also ready to punish Nagasumi for
like no reason, and then neverapologizes.
But what makes me hilarious isthat um Nagasumi and his dad
kind of have this weird likelittle like relationship where
Nagasumi is always calling him apervert.

(14:15):
And then my favorite part ofthis entire entire thing is when
um they when Nagasumi foundmermaid porn.
Um found his dad with mermaidporn, and it was like, you
should come and watch with me,naughty Sumi.
You I'm like, what the hell am Iwatching, everybody?

SPEAKER_04 (14:38):
This is this is something I mean, you're engaged
to a mermaid, you might as wellget used to this sort of thing.

SPEAKER_00 (14:44):
Exactly, and then for the fact that even though
Nagasumi caught his dad withthis pornography, he had the
audacity to accuse Nakasumi ofhaving a weird fish fetish.
Like, Dad, I caught you doingit.
He goes, Yeah, but you're theone who has it.

SPEAKER_04 (15:03):
But no, that's the thing, is like between him and
the mother, they'd be ready tosell Nagasumi out in.
It's funny, but it's also fuckedup.

SPEAKER_00 (15:14):
Exactly.
Like, oh yeah, we hate our son,but we're ready to rock him,
like we're ready to kick yeah, yeah.

SPEAKER_04 (15:27):
It's like, oh, uh you have to go with these
people.
You know what the whole lunarart was.
He's trying to force him to getmarried to her, and essentially
they just no resistance, justtake the boy.

SPEAKER_00 (15:42):
Exactly.
Here you go.
Here's your son.
Bye.
Mom, nope, go with him.
You're we don't have a sonanymore.
That's that's what I felt atleast.

SPEAKER_04 (15:53):
And yeah, and that's kind of crazy the way you
describe how they treat Nagasumiversus how they treat some.
It's literally what the GordonRamsey means, where it's like,
oh dear, precious, and thenlooking at Nagasumi like you
fucking donkey.

SPEAKER_01 (16:13):
Yeah, uh, yeah.

SPEAKER_04 (16:15):
Speaking of which, are you done with uh Nagasumi?

SPEAKER_01 (16:18):
Yeah, you're good to go.

SPEAKER_04 (16:19):
Alright, cool.
Let's talk about Sun real quick.
Let me go ahead and talk abouther.
So I love Sun.
She is like one of the funniestcharacters, ironically, in this
anime, to where it's like she'sdown the earth, she's fairly
intelligent, and she has likethis Silvery moe, you know,

(16:42):
honor among thieves, to whereshe has like the cherry blossoms
and the uh what do they call theInca music in the background,
and it's like all dramatic andshit.
She has uh she hasswordsmanship, and funny enough,
I won't talk about where shelearned that swordsmanship um
because you know the whole thingbetween Monsa and Ankana, but

(17:04):
I'll get to that.
Ah, the funniest thing about heris how air-headed she is,
because sometimes she will be inthe midst of a situation and
just rolls with it.
Like, say for instance, um, thatone time Nagasoon was going off

(17:25):
on Ty about how hard it could beuh being engaged and whatnot.
And then she was like, Oh, areyou saying it's been hard for
you?
Marriage has been hard for you,and then Nagasu is like, Oh no,
son, it's okay.
I didn't mean like that.
And then she was like, I'm like, bro, like just like that.

(17:45):
I'm like, bro, like I kind oflike how Son just rolls with
shit.
Like, she oh man, like, especially with her relationship
with Lunar, where like she it'sliterally like a Goku and Vegeta
type relationship going on towhere Sun thinks of Lunar as a

(18:09):
friend, but Lunar keeps thinkingof Sun as a rival, and even when
they had the whole uh school warthing going on, and Lunar is
like, I'm not gonna stop untileverybody loves me and I'm the
main character, and blah blahblah blah.
And then Sun was like, Okay, youcan be that.

SPEAKER_05 (18:31):
No, that's that's that laid back ass of yours.

SPEAKER_00 (18:38):
Uh I love Lunar and Sun's relationship.
I love Lunar, she's like she'sjust the crazy idle swamp girl.
But Sun is Sun is I agree withyou, she's very ditchy, she's
but she's she's kind, and that'swhat I love about her.

(19:00):
But I also hate the fact thathow aloof she is to everything
the abused um with this with uhNagi Sumi Nagasumi's parents,
like, oh it's okay, I love them, and I'm gonna respect them so
much because they're my in-laws,and yeah, and I don't know.

SPEAKER_04 (19:21):
No, it's like if you no, see, okay, okay.
I'm sorry, I'm sorry, Sad, butlike I gotta say this because
you just reminded me ofsomething that kind of pissed me
off about their dynamics.
The part where it just feelslike Nan Gasumi and Son, they
like each other, but I'm notconvinced that their heart is
fully into this marriage.
It's almost like they both knowthey're only engaged because of

(19:45):
circumstances, and it's almostlike they want to like each
other, but it's almost like theykind of treat each other as
friends, and it's like, yeah, they're engaged, but it's almost
like y'all treat each other morelike friends than anything.
There's like no romanticchemistry between the two of
you.
Like, yeah, you're notnecessarily protective of son,
but as a friend in a way.

(20:07):
Like, in other words, kind ofsaying he's protecting her from
shoes, like you know, it's himand Kai, and the one guy we're
gonna talk about at the um endof the anime, where it just
seemed like he's just beingprotective of her.
But here's why I say thisbecause, like I said earlier,
where with Nan Gatsumi, uh hekind of did a four-day slip

(20:31):
talking about how hard it is umbeing engaged with Sun, also
with his crush on Lunar, alsowith how was it something else?
Well, there was like a littlebit, but not that much.
Meanwhile, with Sun, like theonly reason why I say with Sun

(20:51):
is that even though she likesNagatsumi, the part the love
potion episode, like that's myfavorite episode, if case y'all
didn't notice by now.
But uh Sun, when she noticedNagatsumi, uh kind of saw him
looking like a mafia, like JoJocharacter, and she was like, I

(21:12):
can't help it.
Uh, and you're totally my typenow, Nagatsumi.
So, whoa, whoa, whoa, hold on.
So, what you told me is you likehim as a person, but you're not
physically attracted to him.
And I hate to break this to you,but you know how they say don't

(21:34):
judge a book by cover.
I want to say that's kind of ahalf truth.
Like, I'm gonna be honest.
Yeah, we shouldn't be toojudgmental, but let's be real.
You gotta be at least a littleattracted to your partner
physically, otherwise, you'renot gonna entertain that.
Like, you're just gonna feelrepulsed having relations with

(21:55):
someone that you're notphysically attracted to.
It's like it doesn't matter ifyou have a great friendship with
them, it's like there's gotta belike some sort of physical
chemistry going on, and ifthat's how she feels, then
that's how you can tell thismarriage is more political than
romantic.
But that's just me.
That's just my observation ofit.

SPEAKER_00 (22:17):
I do have to say, from the manga does not the
anime does not do the mangajustice in this one either,
because they do in the manga.
I know the mangas ended a verylong time ago, but the manga
pretty much ends up with themfalling in love.
Like he falls in love with hereventually.

(22:39):
It takes seven, like what is it?
It takes them forever to get toit, but Nagasumi ends up um
explaining that he does loveher, even though there are in
the manga there are a lot ofuneasy NSFW scenes of him and

(23:02):
Lunar.
One of the one of the lastchapters of it shows him uh
shows him basically Lunar turnsback into a mermaid after
something spills on her and he'srubbing like to dry her off.

SPEAKER_04 (23:18):
Kind of like uh Wait Is it is it a one scene okay?
I don't know if like maybe it'san uh manga only thing, but that
reminded me of this one scene towhere, okay, every now and then
Lunar's father come into thepicture.
Yes, and then okay, okay, thiswas anime, and so I know exactly

(23:38):
what you're talking about.
Okay, I got you.
So essentially, yeah, uh to thelistener, listen to this
episode, what happened was, yes, like what Siby was saying, Warri
got onto Lunar, she turned backinto a mermaid.
He was being like an honest guyby trying to drive her off.
But as soon as Luna's fathercame into the room, like she was

(24:00):
already dried off, so it wasjust her human legs, but it
looked like he was um because inthe in the manga, she's on her
hands and knees.
Yeah, and so it looks like hewas um wiping her butt with uh a
towel, and I like the animation, all that shit, like uh the

(24:22):
alarms going off.
It's like uh sir, it's not whatit was like that.

SPEAKER_05 (24:31):
I'm like, uh, it looks kind of bad though.
You better have a very drawingapplication.

SPEAKER_04 (24:38):
No, it didn't matter because he started blasting
anyway.

SPEAKER_00 (24:42):
Yeah, that's actually one of the last parts
in the manga to happen, actually, and it's kind of
funny.

SPEAKER_04 (24:49):
Yeah, like okay, it's great that they eventually
fall in love, but that's justthe thing, it's like it's one of
those things where like willthey or won't they kind of think
it would make more sense if itwas like they weren't together,
but the fact that they wereengaged.
Well, they they say they'remarried, but did they I see once

(25:14):
again on the first four episodeskind of a blur to me.
Did they actually have like avisual ceremony and whatnot?
Because otherwise, I'm thinkingthey're not really married,
they're just engaged.

SPEAKER_00 (25:23):
No, it's it's just engagement because even in the
um in the anime, that that lastvery last episode, he puts like
when they're at the festival andhe puts the ring on her, that's
kind of like um like human ring.

SPEAKER_04 (25:40):
Like a promise ring.

SPEAKER_00 (25:42):
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
Son is wearing a ring given toher by Nagasuma on their first
date, like a wedding ring, butit's more like a promise ring.
And I don't think it was thefestival scene, it might have
been.
I'm not positively sure.
Yeah, the anime ends withNagasumi and friends returning
to a normal day at school.
Son is wearing a ring given toher by Nagasuma on the first

(26:04):
date, like a wedding ring.
Yeah, okay.

SPEAKER_04 (26:06):
Okay, but that's the thing is like it would have been
one thing if they weren't eventogether, like they just fell in
love, then got into arelationship, then got married,
and all the other jazz orwhatnot.
But when you put it like that, and compared to some of the
hints um that was going on inthe um series, it just felt like
you can tell that even thoughthey like each other, but it was

(26:28):
more like more platonic atfirst, and the engagement itself
was just political bycircumstance because it was
almost like if they didn't getengaged, one of them would have
been killed, and they didn'twant that.
So it's like, well, y'all gonnahave to do this, and it's crazy

(26:50):
enough.
This makes me wanna reviewNisikoi at some point, because
that the way they carry uhhandled being engaged to each
other, that was funny as hell.
But yeah, uh that's pretty muchall I have to say about Sun for
now.

(27:10):
Uh goes the Bureau, like I said,uh, he's the boss of the settle
gang.
Uh, he loves his daughter verymuch, but because of that,
that's why he decides NagasuSumi is because it's like he's
stealing her away from him.
And just to make sure that she'ssafe, he and his subordinates

(27:35):
and his wife decided toinfiltrate Nagasumi school as
the staff while Golzerboroughbecomes a home room teacher.
Um, the mother Wren is thenurse.
We have uh Shark uh Fuji Jiro asFuji, uh I'm sorry.
I'm just gonna call him Sharkbecause I'm like I'm just

(27:59):
getting tongue ties trying topronounce his name.
We have Shark as the gymteacher.

SPEAKER_00 (28:04):
That's my man.

SPEAKER_04 (28:07):
Uh Master is the math teacher, and I'm thinking
um Nakajima, the octopus.
I believe he's the scienceteacher or chemistry teacher,
something like that.
Uh yeah.
There's more other characters, but uh goes the bro, hmm, yeah.

(28:30):
Um he he's fairly funny in hisown right, you know, trying to
make sure that nobody uh her sonor anything like that.
And I guess you think thefunniest thing he did, well one
of the funniest things, likethere is the whole
cross-dressing that he and umthe Edomonic boss was doing

(28:53):
where like anything, anyways.
Uh I want to say the funniestepisode that I remember him in
was the one with the cat, whereNagasumi brings a cat to school,
and keep in mind that mostmermaids are afraid of the cat.

(29:13):
Some of them grow out of it likemonster, uh, but some like
gozeboro, they never really growout of it.
And it was just so funnywatching everybody freak out
over this little cat, especiallythe chase scene to where the cat
was just so cute though.
And at the same time, Monkey, uhGozabur, the Tripwire Brothers,

(29:37):
they were all trying to run awayfrom this cat, and you just
think you're like this furrytier two dragon.
I'm like, man, that's just alittle kid.
A little trip.
They even had the wholeanimation of it, too.
Uh, who else?
Um, before I turn it back overto you, Sebbie.
Uh, Ren, she was solid, solidcharacter, like, you know.

(30:00):
A good counterbalance to go togirls, a hotheadedness, you
know, kinda levels up the wholefamily dynamic.
She also got the whole shiverymode going on for her, but it's
every now and then.
Uh Massa.
Oh my boy Massa.
Like, okay, first of all, Igotta say I like how we're gonna

(30:25):
eventually review Panty andStocking.
And when I heard Gardevelle'svoice, I was like, wait, oh that
voice of me.
It's Masa.
Chris, what's about?
I salute you, sir.
I'm like, I did not expect thevoice of Vegeta, Piccolo, Yamsa,
All Might, all that being bothMonster and Gardeville, too.

(30:49):
I'm like, god damn put it atwork.
Anyway, Monster's like the coolguy, like with the afro and this
ever-present sunglasses on hisface, like you never really see
his eyes.
And crazy enough, during likethe first one or two episodes,

(31:09):
uh Nagasumi was drowning andwhatnot.
He masa gave Nagasumi CPR, butthey framed it as Masa kissing
Nagasumi, and everybody justrolled with it as Masa being
Nagasumi's first kiss, and sonto this day is jealous.

(31:30):
Oh, that's another thing wheresometimes Sun kind of questions
if Nagasumi's into boys.
That was another thing that waskind of funny.
Uh outside uh all that, youknow, he kind of he's more
targeted when he's drunk, youknow, like when he goes to his
bar.

(31:51):
But for the most part, he's likethe cool character.
And here's the thing there'sthis one character, Akano,
whereas he had this longbrother.
And come to find out, that wasMonster, but what happened was
he one thing led to another.

(32:11):
I kind of forget uh it kind ofblurry.
Sorry, maybe 70.
You can't fill me in on thedetails on this, but essentially
one thing leading to another, where Monster got into this
accident and Gulzaburo wastrying to help him out, but
Monster had amnesia, and gozaburwas like, uh, yeah, you one of

(32:34):
us.
Like, yeah, you part of Settogang.
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
And it's like kind of liketrying to cover up the whole
accident.
And this whole time Akanothought her brother um abandoned
them and she was gonna kill himif she ever find him.
And the whole thing is Monsataught son how to use

(32:56):
swordsmanship, and it's the sameswordsmanship that Akano knows.
So that's why there was a wholemystery thing going on where
like they start to suspectMonster.
Like, who are you really?
Because between you knowing thatsword style and having amnesia,

(33:17):
we kind of suspect you of beingthe brother.
But of course, Ghost Girl don'twant Monster to gain his memory
because that means oh, he'sgonna leave, but he's gonna want
to leave.
But uh, Sadie, how'd you feelabout Masa?

SPEAKER_00 (33:33):
I love Massa.
Masa as a character is he'sfunny.
Um, you're actually right ontopic.
He's actually one of the onlyone of the only mermaids that
are able to control his humanappearance, and sense of that
because of his amnesia, um hebecame the member of the Setto
clan, and it's possible hisappearance may depend on like

(33:55):
his personal identity, so he'sable to magically alter his form
to keep him from beingrecognized.
But I I love the way he looksthe thumbs up, the afro, the
when he talks, everyone's like,Yeah, let's I'm gonna listen to
you now.
And I I love him as a characterand agree when I first heard

(34:17):
him, I'm like, is thatChristopher Savant?
It's one of those people thatyou're just like, is that
Christopher Savant?
Or in my case, uh, if I look ata character, I can point out who
Jimmy.

SPEAKER_04 (34:26):
Nah, see, that's me when it comes to Patrick's face.
When when I hear Dio, I'm like, wait a minute, is that Patrick?
Because I'm like, I neverrecognize that voice anywhere.
I'm like, ooh, like it is kindof like almost like you can just
hear the wave, and it's like youjust hear a familiar sound wave

(34:47):
going through your brain.
I'm like, I recognize thatvoice.

SPEAKER_00 (34:51):
Yeah, that is.
We have a game in my house thatwhen we scroll past animes, um,
we're like, let's play the is itthe J.
Michael Tatum game?
And we're just looking atcharacters.
And I remember this one timegoing off topic.
I looked at this anime and went, that's J.
Michael Tatum.
Nate, Nate goes, no, it's not.
We turn that on.
Lo and behold, I'm like, I toldyou, I can tell the power.

(35:11):
But anyway, I it's the runninggag, the whole thing.
I I like him as a character.
He's that cool, collective, like, yeah, type of dude.
So I like him.
He's one of my favorites.
He's not my most favorite, buthe is one of my favorites.

SPEAKER_04 (35:30):
Gotcha, gotcha.
Monkey.
Okay, she's a little funny, youknow, like she's like this
petite assassin in the conchshield.
That's why she's called Monkeythe Conch.
And it is kind of funny howshe's like trying to assassinate
um Nagasumi at first, and thenevery now and then she tries to

(35:52):
kill him, or like she kind of uhplot against him every now and
then, especially with the wholecat episode and whatnot.
So she called him uh callingNagasumi Sea Louse, all that
shit.
And I guess it's like the samething with go to brewer to where
she cares for Son to a pointwhere if it helps uh the boss uh

(36:15):
get his daughter back, so tospeak.
Um she will happily assassinateNagasumi to bring son back to um
the setup in the sea and allthat shit.
You know, she's just reallybeing loyal to the family, so I
can't really false her, but it'sjust funny how that works out.

(36:37):
Uh short, okay, short.
He's kind of funny where likeespecially what was it, the
fifth or sixth episode whereNagasumi and Chim was up on the
upper levels and trying to uhget a peek at the girls, and
well, Nagasumi wasn't reallytrying to, but Tim wanted to,

(37:01):
and Fuzy Shiro.

SPEAKER_05 (37:04):
Yes, I got the name right.

SPEAKER_04 (37:08):
Um, it did not sue me, huh?
Uh what are you doing up there?
Like, you're a naughty boy.
You know what?
I'm gonna eat you.
That's the funny thing.
Like, I like how unlikeeverybody else, where they have
like the uh mermaid tail, hejust had this big shark head and
just monster.

(37:32):
Uh outside of that, not much tosay about him.
I just thought he was funnywhenever he's being used every
now and then.
Like I kind of get it, you know.
I kind of get the attractionslike because I swear to God, if
I show this to two of my otherwomen friends, one's up being

(37:57):
Mira Jane, I'm like, why is thething gonna be like Fuzhiro?
I'm like, god damn it, really?
What I'm I I'm not arguingagainst it, but I'm like, I kind
of hate how telegraphed thatwould have been to be like,
damn, like I thought you weregonna surprise me.

(38:21):
Okay, but no, it's cool.

SPEAKER_00 (38:26):
That's that's my favorite character out of this
entire anime.
Like, if you put him in front ofa bunch of my brightest movie
characters, I'm pointing outShark Fujiro out.
I think he's so impatient, it'sfunny.
Like, his the best way to endeverything is to eat the person,
eat the source, so that everyonecan just go home and forget

(38:48):
about everything.
He's a simple man, and I readsweet, eat, repeat, done.
That's it.
And then when he speaks, I likethe fact that it's always like
he's asking a question.

SPEAKER_04 (39:03):
Yeah, let's see.
In fact, let me let me think.
Okay, his voice actor, hisEnglish voice actor is Brian
Massey.
Yes, I want to see what he did.
I want to see what he did.
You he's lad from Boncano?
Okay.
Oh, wait, hold on.
He was he was in some shit thatI was.
Um, Franz from Blaze Rider,okay.
I I remember that one.

(39:24):
He's Monkey D Dragon fromWumpies, okay, okay.
Uh Ulon from Drag Monkey Kai,okay.
Uh he was in Course Princess, hewas at um Detective.
Uh he was a bunch of charactersin Fairy Tale, he was in Darken
and Black.
Uh Cat from Sands, okay, okay.

(39:45):
Um Space Danny, he was off, okay, okay.
Uh Jerry from D-Gray Man.
He was in Norigami.

SPEAKER_00 (39:55):
He's in Black uh he's in my character as Jiro's
dad and The Crimson Riot.

SPEAKER_04 (40:00):
Oh shit, okay, okay.
Uh he um Kokitis from Ooh, I wastrying to pronounce the name
right.
It was Kokitis, my bad.
Yeah, like you were saying, uhMasusaki from Psyche K.
Ooh, I want to review Psyche Kbecause that's one of my other
comfort anime where I can watchPsyche K all day.

(40:22):
Uh I'm sorry, look, dearlistener.
I'm kind of geeking where I'mlike, hold on, I need to lose
this dude up.
I want to see uh he was radyfrom um Black Clover.
Okay, cool, cool, cool.
Uh sometimes you'll be likethat.

SPEAKER_00 (40:37):
He plays a lot of additional voices in a lot of
different animes.
I agree with you.
Uh Show by Rock, one of myall-time favorites.
Can watch that all the time.
My first girlfriend is a cow.
Don't even get me started onthat one.

SPEAKER_04 (40:49):
Oh, I saw that.
Okay.
I'm gonna get back to you whenwe to review that one because
like I'm gonna talk about thatone too.
Yeah, okay.
He was in a bunch of uh stuff.
Okay, I respect it, I respectit.
Uh was there anything else youwant to add on to the Fuji's
hero?

SPEAKER_00 (41:09):
No, that's it.
He's a shark, he's funny.

SPEAKER_04 (41:12):
Okay, let's talk about the three stooges now.
Uh, Mongo, Borio, and Ajitaro.

SPEAKER_05 (41:18):
When these three clowns do something with the
description.

SPEAKER_04 (41:31):
I lost my shit.
Especially that epic uh openingthat they did, you know, uh
introductions where it's likethey almost like they were like
action heroes and they had thatwhole coming soon title.
Like, hey, yo, yo.
See, that's what I'm talkingabout.
Like, hey, listen, if you didn'twatch the anime, watch the

(41:55):
anime.
I swear to god, like it's almostlike as far as comedy anime,
it's refreshing to where there'slike some comedy anime that is
pretty good, but it's almostlike my prize of memory just has
like stars, they have likestyle.
It's almost like as soon as youthought, okay, it levels out,

(42:19):
they throw some dumb shit inthere.
Kind of like with Danadam, butlike more subdued, you know.
It's it's like I'm kind ofhaving a hard time explaining
it, but I swear to you, the gangin this anime is peak for hold
on, hold on, hold on, hold on.
I'm trying to think go back tothe year of the anime 2007.

(42:43):
It was peak for 2007, okay?
Now, uh not not really much tosay, like just these uh I'm
gonna say what kind of pictureare they?
They look like those uh tunafish, you know, the I wanna say

(43:06):
kind of picture tuna fish withthe bug eyes, like yeah, like
that's like the best way to umput it.
Uh yeah, that was pretty much itfor the setto family.
Like, yeah, I know there'sNakajima, but aside from him

(43:26):
just being octopus, he's justthere for gags.
Like, he doesn't even havelines, crazy enough, because uh
the same dude that voicesNakajima also voices Mongo, so I
guess it's like okay, at leasthe has two roles, uh Chris

(43:46):
Casey, like at least he has uhtwo roles in this shit, and one
speaking role and one just forgags.
And I'm like, hey, well, youknow, extra paycheck.
All right, uh let's talk aboutLunar.
All right, Lunar.
She kind of how can I put this?

(44:10):
Like we said before, she's likedriven by competitiveness
against Sun.
Like she was going so far as totry to steal Nagasumi from Son,
even though she doesn't evenlike him that much.
Like, she keeps referring to himas manserving.
And oh, I I heard that youreally like me as an idol, like

(44:32):
you should be ungrateful thatyour idol gets to sit on your
lap.
Oh man, like I I kind ofunderstand, like, not exactly
lunar, but just imagine if as adude, if your celebrity crush,
um, you get to hang out withthem, and they sit on your lap,

(44:55):
and I'm sitting like, look,Sebbie, listen, I will, I'm
going to fold.
Okay.
I'm going to fold.
And I don't normally do thatwith women, but like, you have
to be like really exceptional.
But uh with Lunar, she movesinto the house, gradually

(45:17):
develops genuine feelings forNagasuni, and she even tried to
marry him in the manga, like yousaid before.
Uh, and son, she was even coolwith it.
I was like, wow.
Well, you know, there's polygam,I don't know.

(45:39):
Uh polyam, no, no, notpolyamion.
Uh what was the other one?
Um yeah, I got it right.
Um, polygamous or whatnot?

SPEAKER_00 (45:49):
I'm like, okay one one man, two wives is polygamy.
Polygamy.
There we go.

SPEAKER_04 (45:54):
Yeah.
And once again, going back tothe whole school war thing, she
was commanding this personalarmy of the Eastino Junior High
Boys, and they're all uhconstantly class with Sons
Guards, and she has this weirdthing where she's um speaks in

(46:15):
third person, or not really likethird person, but more like in a
plural form, like we instead ofshe or I or whatnot.
And she also got that rich girllaugh.
You know that laugh uh with thehand gesture, like the he may
laugh.

SPEAKER_00 (46:34):
That's what it's called.
Yeah, that's what it was.
The he-may laugh.
Yeah, I love that.
Like, ugh.
I love that laugh.

SPEAKER_04 (46:44):
But outside of that, like she kind of gives off
tomboy vibes too, especiallywhen um she was given Nakazumi
um that one technique, eventhough that one technique in
anime where for some reason it'slike uh, I think it was like a
policy, not apologized, but um,you know, when they grab you by
both legs and then they startstomping you in your junk.

(47:07):
And I'm like, bro, like really.
Uh outside of that, not much tosay on Luna.
Like, I I thought uh her being aperfect counterbalance to Sun
was a great addition to thedynamics in this anime.

(47:32):
Uh, and then we have PresidentEdomai himself, where he's
basically this uh parody of theTerminator, like have like this
android like this roboticpersonality.
He even got the whole thingwhere like from his eyeglasses,
it looked like some sort of umandroid cyborg bionic type thing

(47:59):
going on.
So outside of that, you know, hecares for Lunar, but he just
kind of sucked as a dad.
Like he's a father, but not muchof a dad.
Where he's trying to understandLunar more, like he's trying,

(48:20):
but let's just be real, it'smore like like what um Lunar
said, like he thinks he's thetype to throw money at a
problem, and now there's notthat much proof of that, but if
that's what she's saying, thenthat just goes to show that
their relationship is kind ofstrained to where he's busy,

(48:45):
she's busy, they don't have muchof a relationship, but they do
love each other.
It's just you know, not much ofone.
Uh there's Moon's mother, whogot divorced from the father,
believed to have abandoned thefamily.

(49:05):
But in reality, like, okay, I'mkind of going to manga territory
at this point because theydidn't show this in the anime.
She served a 10-year prisonsentence for intentionally
running over her neglectfulhusband with a car, and she
shares Lunar's dramaticpersonality traits, recognizing
her similarity when entering herpassionate mood, and her

(49:29):
influence shaped Lunar'sdevelopment with the war songs
she's taught and whatnot, withher absence indirectly
motivating Lunar's idle careerand her criminal past and
flamboyant uh temperamentcreated this unconventional but
understanding bond with thedaughter.
So you won't see that in theanime, but I guess you could say

(49:50):
there's reasons why Lunar is theway that she is, but like that's
the crazy part where like thevehicular manslaughter.
Ah wow.

SPEAKER_00 (50:05):
You remember when I told you I had those J.
Michael Tatum powers where Icould just go, yep, that's J.
Michael Tatum.

SPEAKER_05 (50:11):
Yeah.

SPEAKER_00 (50:12):
Yeah, President Edome is freaking J.
Michael Tatum.
Pointed that out the moment Iwent, that's J.
Michael Tatum.
Yep, that's that's that eyethose that's that hidden eye
that I have.
He's also bulletproof in themanga, by the way.

SPEAKER_04 (50:28):
Oh, you know crazy.
I'm looking him up now.
He was in D Grave Man, okay.
Like I wanna review D Great Man,really, I do.
And I'm gonna get around to it.
Uh, he was in this one anime Ilike Shuffle, where this is one
of those Shuffle is one of thoseanimes where, okay, finally, not
only do we have a main characterwho actually picks a girl, but

(50:53):
he got this whole harem, andslowly but surely they're like,
okay, you can be part of thislove cube that we got going on.
So I I just like the directionthat it went into.
Like, okay, he was also inBacchina.
What hold on, like, that'scrazy.
Uh Chris Arissa bought and JayMichael Tatum um was in Boccana.

SPEAKER_00 (51:14):
I could list everything Jake Jay Michael
Tatum is in.
You don't have to look that up.
I can list it off and off.

SPEAKER_04 (51:21):
I mean, I'm kind of doing this for me though,
because I know, I know, I know.
Yeah.
But I'm just kind of geeking outtoo because he I'm just now
realizing that he was in someshit that I watched, but like,
unlike I didn't have yourattunement to his voice, but uh,
I'm going back and I'm like, oh,hold on.
He was in some shit that I wasum fucking with.

(51:43):
Like he scarred from Full MountAlchemist.
Uh, he was in Orin High SchoolHost Club, hell yeah, uh Corpse
Princess, uh Ineru from OnePiece, uh Chaos Head, Sebastian
from um Black Butler, uh DeadmanWonderland.
He was also at Fairy Tale.

(52:04):
What's up with everybody beingin fucking fairy tale?
And he was also in Panty andStalking.
Uh he was poor stuff.
Okay, cool, cool.
Uh Future Diary, Space Dandy,State Alive, Coldbreaker, Erwin
Smith as from Tag on TitanTright.

SPEAKER_00 (52:26):
He also plays Tenya Ida and uh My Hero Academia,
Eric Vaughn Ryugin from Tanya,Ray Rick uh Ryugazaki from
Furry, um Arthur Pendragon fromhigh school DXD.
I could go on.

SPEAKER_04 (52:47):
Dog.
There's gonna be like a memegoing on to it's kind of like a
running gag por the podcastwhere every time we hear a
certain voice actor, and like,oh, there's a boy.

SPEAKER_00 (53:01):
That that's literally that's literally being
like, oh, there's my kid.
Like, I know that guy.

SPEAKER_05 (53:09):
There's my boy.

SPEAKER_04 (53:11):
But uh, hold on, let's go ahead and get into the
other characters going and wrapit up because I got another uh
session to do later on.
But like I said before, it'sreally the character that
carries the whole thing.
Like we have Mari, the uhwannabe cop who has a crush on
Nagasumi, and she's like tryingto she has these excessive

(53:36):
peacekeeping efforts on goingaround the whole school and
whatnot.
And I think she's kind of funny, but I think the whole signature
line that she has, do you uhwant me to teach you the rules
of society?
I kind of wish she did that alittle less.

(53:57):
Nothing wrong with hersprinkling in every now and
then, but when you when it feelslike you say every fucking
episode, it's like uh it's likeKaren making fetch a thing and
mean girls.
I'm like, it's not gonna catchon.
Get over it.
It did catch on, by the way.

(54:18):
But this one, nah, I'm like, itgot annoying to me.
Uh we have Hidi Yoshi Sorry,Toby, aka Chimp.
Uh he's the pervert character, and he sometimes not consuming
like the uh address him as ChimpRossi, found Perry and the

(54:40):
Dragon Ball, you know, MattRossi, because he's like a Kirby
hermit, which is funny becausethe uh Tariah uh Aleg Story was
like right there too.
But oh well, whatever.
Uh we have class rep, which isfunny because they were really
close to revealing her name, butwe didn't get there.

(55:02):
Wait, hold on.
Wait, nope, never mind.
Uh on her name?

SPEAKER_05 (55:05):
Because I have no, I got I know it now.

SPEAKER_04 (55:07):
Is uh Ina Teo.
Huh.
I'm just reading it now.
I'm like, okay.
I'm just gonna call her Teo.
Uh just working your sake.
And essentially, you know, shehad on the she was meat, she had
the glasses, and she also hadfeelings for Nagasumi, tried to
confess to him through a letter, but she accidentally um

(55:29):
confessed to son when she showedup uh out of the blue, and then
she had this alternate persona, the last Amazonist, who uh just
kind of make it sound like, ohwell, this persona likes women,
and that way it doesn't seemlike oh, that was her that

(55:50):
confessed the sun.
He's kind of delusional typething, but what can I say?
Like without the glasses andwith her hair down, she actually
looked cute, like you know shecute, okay, but yeah, yeah, Kai

(56:11):
McCower, you have this rich kidwho used to be very sheltered,
like he had agoraphobia to apoint where he don't like open
spaces, I guess.
And when you know, like goingout in the real world, and it's

(56:32):
like, oh, this open space isfreaking me out.
That's why he gotta have likethis astronauts in order to feel
more comfortable being out andabout.
And one thing I don't like aboutChimp, and I'm gonna mention
this when I get to Okina.
One thing I don't like aboutChimp is how he switches up real

(56:53):
fast when someone of power showsup.
Like with Kai flashing his moneyand all that shit, he was like,
oh shit, I'm gonna fuck with himnow.
Oh yeah.
A love rival for Son, becauseyou know, back when they were
kids, Son would play with umKai.

(57:13):
You know, Son just thought hewas just a playmate, but because
Kai didn't really have friendsthat much, and she was the first
person that liked him outside ofhis money, and suddenly he just
caught feelings for her eversince then, and that's kind of
explains why Kai and Naga Sumibe beefing each other.

(57:39):
Um other than that, not much, not much to say about him.
Uh Akano.
Okay, now we're getting to apoint where first of all, I like
how with Akano, she she's theum, I I remember now.
She's the voice actress forMikasa from Attack on Titan.

(58:02):
It's crazy how a bunch of peoplefrom Attack on Titan was also on
this shit.
But she was the mermaid examinerattached to deporting Murkrow
who failed to blend in withhumans.
And unlike the others, she'sable to suppress her
transformation, you know, kindof like with Monster, and I

(58:24):
guess the rest of them, unlessyou know, they didn't really get
war splashed on them, butthey're able to suppress their
transformation when wet, um,thanks to her training.
And at first, she was hostiletowards the protagonist, but
it's mainly toward because youknow, she was doing her job.
But as we get to know herbetter, like she develops

(58:44):
compassion, and she had thiswhole thing to where she had to
serve as a knight for the finalantagonist in um last stretch of
episodes, but like she was justdoing her duty, like she didn't
really want to do it, but shehad to because it was her job.
Uh what else?

(59:06):
Oh, yeah, the whole vexinglysexy shot caller things where
when she was pretty much beatingup the Bronchial Respiration
Brothers and everybody, shepretty much gained the respect
of at least the male demographicof the middle school.

(59:26):
And that's because, first ofall, she was badass, and second
of all, titties.
Uh she's kind of funny, especially like during the non
series episode where like um sheMonkey well not Maki, excuse me,

(59:49):
uh Mawari, and the others, likefor some reason it was like they
had like I don't think it waslike sake or whatnot, but for
some reason it was like heatedup or like.
We're just not acting themselvesat the time.
It's almost like they weredrunk, but I don't think they
were really drunk.
But uh yeah, Akinob can be kindof funny, but she's more of the

(01:00:10):
series character, kind of likeMonster.
Uh oh, yeah.
Uh the guy that I was alludingto, um, Yoshio.
He's this mermaid noble whosecretly abducts girls and kind
of have his way with thesegirls, but come to find out that
he's like this overweightcatfish type um mermaid.

(01:00:32):
And he just repulsivepersonality.
Like, just yeah.
Um there's some other charactersinvolved, but they're mainly uh
manga only because you don't seethe rest of them in the anime.

(01:00:58):
But uh Sebi, you got anythingyou want to add on to all this?

SPEAKER_00 (01:01:05):
No, I think you covered everything.
I love I love the manga and I'vereally enjoyed the anime.
I recommend watching it if youhaven't seen it, and then check
out the images, check out thecharacter images of each
character.
They're so detailed and soperfect.
I love them so much.

(01:01:26):
I think I have the one of um thestudent council president, the
the Amazonian, the Amazonians, whatever you want to call her.
I have a picture of her becauseI love her artwork so much.
Like I love that one, hertransformation.

SPEAKER_04 (01:01:44):
Yeah, that's all right.
Uh honestly, with all of thatbeing said, let's go ahead and
do a rating.
I dare say, as a comedy, mybride as a mermaid is a nine out
of ten.
But uh, if I gotta be critical,I would knock it down to maybe

(01:02:07):
an eight.
Because my main thing is by theanime is not complete, so there
may be more in the manga thatkind of adds more on to it.
But for the most part, Ithought, you know, it's great
for what it is, very funny, veryendearing characters.

(01:02:32):
But uh outside of that, I guessyou could say, like I said
before, if the characters wasn'treally carrying this show, I
would say it's kind of run ofthe mill, so to speak.
It's like you have your premise, and then for the most part, they
just have shenanigans at school.
Maybe they like some seriousshit going on, like the mini

(01:02:53):
arts where you have the one artwhere Lunar tried to force
Nagasumi to marry her.
We already talked about therepulse of noble.
Um some others too.
Like I'm thinking, but like youknow what?
Fuck it.
Like I gotta go ahead and moveon to other reviews.

(01:03:16):
So I'm gonna go ahead and giveit like a eight to a nine out of
ten for me.
Uh, what about you, seven?

SPEAKER_00 (01:03:22):
I was gonna say an eight and a half seems pretty
valid for me.
Enjoy the characters, theycarried a lot of the show.
Slice of life aspect is reallygood.
Romance is pretty good to me.
Um, there are some moments whereit was kind of iffy for me, but
I have to say an eight and ahalf.

SPEAKER_04 (01:03:37):
Yeah, there you have it.
8.5 out of 10.
Very good.
Like, definitely give it achance.
But if not your cup of tea, hey,not everything for everybody.
And I respect it.
So, with that being said, let'sgo ahead and close out.
Sebi, I do thank you for beingon this episode.

(01:03:58):
And to the dear listener, Ithank you for listening to us to
the end.
Go ahead and have yourself agood morning, good afternoon,
good evening, good night.
