Additionally, he has been a visiting professor at Odesa Theological Seminary in Ukraine and previously taught at Dallas Theological Seminary. His academic focus includes the Pentateuch, ancient Near Eastern history and languages, Old Testament criticism, Hebrew, and biblical counseling.
