This month is a multiple case month. Women, predominantly from the Navajo Nation go missing or are murdered. Many of the cases remain unsolved to this day. The last case is just as heartbreaking, Jamie Yazzie is killed by her then boyfriend following an argument, found just seven miles from the house she was living. But it takes years before she is found and news to the family is either delayed or delivered by the media instead of law enforcement. Their own lawyer can't get any updates either, frustrating everyone involved, but they persevered and justice is eventually served.
