Ashe and Mega review media for Teenagers with a comedic angle of two adults who are probably not the targeted demographic for them. Expect humor, cursing, and various hijinks abound as the two talk about a show one episode at a time until completion. Reviewing these shows or making fun of them doesn't make your enjoyment any less valid. https://linktr.ee/THIPodcast https://www.tumblr.com/ashenightshade https://www.tumblr.com/megafighter343 Our intro is voiced by Leah Ramsay, look her up on Fiverr!
The duo return from the void to try and record a new episode of These Hot Idiots!
In the least accessible episode of These Hot Idiots ever recorded, Ashe and Mega decide that they need to suffer for other peoples enjoyment and take part in watching the adaptation of the first book of Veronica Roth's Divergent book series, and question their sanity almost the entire time in an almost two and a half hour review and discussion about freedom, emotion, choice, and poor worldbuilding, so you better buckle up, or y...
You know, only in hindsight do I realize that they named this episode because the teen spirits mentioned consist of the ghosts of both Anna and Vicki, but it makes it weird, because there is two of them and then it would make more grammatical sense if the episode was titled 'Smells like Teen Spirits' in order to land the pun they were going for. But instead, Ashe just sat there, wondering when there was going to be a nirvan...
The reckoning, the sickening. Packaging subversion, pseudo-sacrosanct perversion
Go drill your deserts, go dig your graves. Then fill your mouth with all the money you will save
We're back after a short break to give you some more recap and commentary on The Vampire Diaries, specifically, so they can do chicago accents at eachother the entire episode.
We're pausing. We will unpause when some things get sorted out.
In this episode of These Hot Idiots, Riku gets his keyblade from Klaus after becoming a heartless, Damon and Elena visit Smokey Mountain, home of Smokey Mountain Wrestling, and Ashe complains about Metallica for some reason?
In this episode of These Hot Idiots, Damon is naked, Stefan's a ripper, Elena's planning a really discrete birthday party, and Jeremy should really go back to doing those dishes. Also, we discuss the minimum wage, and... all the Baskin Robbin flavors?
Good grief he's naked!
Ashe and Mega do their epic between-season break to watch the final movie in 'The Twilight Saga' That would be the second half to Breaking Dawn, a two-parter that seriously needed two parts, and was the epic conclusion, and it had fights, and stuff. Please buy a ticket.
RENESME ISN'T EVEN A REAL NAME
In this existential nightmare of an episode, Ashe and Mega take their seasonal break to watch the 4th movie of the twilight saga. It doesn't go well.
Ashe and Mega review the finale of The Vampire Diaries' second season. Things that seemed like season cliffhangers kind of get resolved, sorta. Damon gets progressively sweatier throughout the episode, Jeremy gets shot with a gun, Bonnies ghost friends get real sassy, and Alaric drinks his sorrows away.
In the kinda finale of season 2, it's a lot of talking, a lot of drama, a lot of fighting, a lot of death, and a surprising amount of lipgloss. Somebody dressed Jeremy in a suit, Damon is getting sick from the werewolf disease, and Klaus visits a Walgreens.
In this mostly plot episode of the vampire diaries, Ashe and Mega review the episode in a pretty straight forward way. The tangent count is low on this episode, but I'm glad we still just got something out.
Sorry for the long wait, life and heat waves caused issues with equipment, but we're back for the debut of the new villain of the show, Klaus! We also learn stuff about Elijah too I guess, and Damon is being a salty biscuit.
In this unhinged episode of These Hot Idiots, we learn about the 60's decade dance, the genre of 'my girlfriend died' music, Ashe and Mega apparently argue over... the CIA assassinating a member of the cast, John F Kennedy, AT&T's Mi Fi, and the brutal crushing of merit in the pro-corporate system of content creation.
You guys know this a show about vampires, right? Am I the only one?
The Hoop Snake's ...
What's with this show and people being lit on fire? Whats with this podcast and showing people being on fire as the thumbnail? Why is the planet on fire? Ashe melts while he and Mega talk about the returning, and really bored sounding Isobel as she tries to get her daughter Elena on board with her plan.
I'm sure it'll be fine.
In this episode of These Hot Idiots, Ashe finds out that dragons are real, the duo also find out that someone -really- likes The Killers, Damon has a flamethrower, and there are multiple instances of people being lit on fire either by Damon or by someone else, and Caroline gets to sing a song.
Also; Dragons are real. Did I mention that dragons are real?
In this episode of These Hot Idiots, Ashe and Mega celebrate a full year of These Hot Idiots by completely derailing the show, spoiling the ending of breaking bad, talking about halloweentown, civil war era medicine, if 'Lemonworld' would be a good theme park, and the 'Chinese Dinner Incident'
