Speaker 1 (00:00):
MCP model context
protocol, and what it does is it
standardize the way that AI isgoing to communicate with
companies that are going tocreate MCP servers.
It's almost like we're goingfrom the era of most
communications is done throughRESTful APIs.
Now most communication on theinternet is going to move to
this new protocol called MCP.
(00:21):
This new protocol basicallyallows for the companies to
develop it, rather than theusers always have to change it.
Let's say that I created AIagent that talks to Google and
then Google changes their API.
That means now I need to go andupdate my code to make sure I
support the new API and thenanother month later, google
decides to change it again.
I got to go update my code, butwith this new architecture,
(00:43):
what happens is is thatresponsibility shifts to Google.
Now All I need to do is just myLLM will just still interact
with that interface as itnormally does.
This is going to be the future, right?
It's going to be.
A lot of companies are going tohave to adopt this so that they
can make it easier for AIs tointeract with their company.
What up, what up?
(01:03):
What up, what up?
Yeah, what's up?
D Hustle.
What's going on, man?
How's everything going player,fantastic, fantastic.
My guy Raymond.
Don't call him Ray Ray, raymond, don't call me Ray Ray.
You're going to say what's up,bro, morning morning morning
Morning, morning morning.
Speaker 2 (01:16):
I was nervous.
You know, I was talking thismorning.
Speaker 1 (01:18):
Episode number 59, 59
.
We out here in these streets Iwant to say welcome, welcome to
the podcast, the Tech Hustlepodcast.
I'm your host, bobby D.
We got my guy D Hustle andRaymond, don't call him Ray Ray
and we got a packed show for youall today.
First of all, I want to saythank you all so much for
pulling up, as always.
If you have anybody that youthink this content will resonate
(01:41):
with, tell them about us, sharethe links, like and subscribe.
We're always trying to up ournumbers, but we got a really
cool show lined up for us today.
Fellas, can you believe we have59 59.
I can't wait for the big six.
So I know, bro, we were rightthere.
Speaker 2 (01:52):
I'm gonna have a good
show for you guys talk a lot of
shit about raymond and shitlike that, don't worry about it.
He's over here, locked andloaded.
Speaker 1 (01:59):
He's locked and
loaded but today's show, uh,
we're gonna kick it off withanother tech talk, talking about
a new protocol that has beenintroduced for LLMs, or AI.
You know I'm always talkingabout AI.
It's going to be really, really, really techie.
So if you're not into it asmuch as we are, it's okay.
Listen through it, because Ipromise you're going to learn
something new.
Then we're going to have DHustle come up with some tech
(02:21):
current events and some productsright.
Raymond's Nuggets come up withsome tech, current events, um,
and some products, right um,raymond's nuggets, uh, we got
some utility sites that he no,I'm sorry, informational sites.
This time around, um, a movierecommendation, we'll have
sports with d hustle.
We got some sponsorship to makesure we bring up and then we'll
close it out.
How's that sound, fellas?
I'm like a plan to me, yeahyeah, that's a real good plan.
Oh man, let me tell you our lastepisode that we had.
(02:43):
Um, I was looking at thenumbers.
Uh, people love what we'retalking about y'all.
If y'all didn't know, theyreally like you d hustle why
you're amazing bro what are youtalking about?
Raymond, don't call him ray ray.
I mean, all I'm hearing isgreat things about it, right?
They telling you look at thecamera though okay, wave to them
acknowledge them, right?
Yeah, and they say, they likeyour shirts too they like your
shirts.
Speaker 2 (03:03):
What does it say?
Milf?
Speaker 1 (03:06):
wow, it looks like
it's overlapping.
Oh okay, my bad.
Okay, I don't even know what itsays the paper company okay,
read between the lines raymond'salways trying to pull some and
definitely.
Uh, I've heard really greatfeedbacks about our tech talks
and things that we're talkingabout and some people actually
(03:27):
want us to go a little bit moredeeper into really deep, deep,
deep tech.
So today's topic we're going tobe talking about a new protocol
that was introduced and I'lltalk to you all about the
reasons why.
But yeah, man, definitely bigups to all of y'all, round of
applause for the crew and yeah, big shout outs to all the
members of the Tech Hustle.
We really do appreciate y'allholding it down and yeah, let's
(03:50):
jump right into it.
So I asked Draymond thisearlier if he's ever heard of
something called MCP.
Have you ever heard of MCP theacronym being used?
What was that used before?
Speaker 3 (04:02):
That is a Microsoft
certification.
You can get certified, you canbe, a microsoft certified
professional.
Wow and they give you a littlefancy card.
It looks like a credit card ithas a number on it.
I have one uh-huh so yeah yeah,that's.
Speaker 1 (04:13):
That's kind of old
school.
You don't have one on you rightnow.
I do not no, that's.
Speaker 2 (04:17):
That'd be super nerdy
if I I mean, raymond, you are
super nerdy.
I'm not.
I didn't want you to carry thatconsistent basis that would be
next level nerd type stuff.
Speaker 1 (04:27):
I mean, you're almost
there, though there's nothing
wrong with your nerds.
All right, let's get that outthe way.
He didn't say that.
I'm just saying I wanted toshow people.
His level of nerdiness.
Speaker 3 (04:38):
Yeah, that's what
that is, and I am a Microsoft
Certified Professional.
Speaker 1 (04:41):
Oh, good, good, good.
Speaker 3 (04:42):
Congratulations.
Speaker 1 (04:44):
So, this has nothing
to do with Microsoft
certifications.
They're basically reusing theMCP acronym and actually I was
doing a search on Google towatch the trends and basically
see how much people are usingthis new word or this new
acronym or not new but reusingthis acronym called MCP.
But we'll talk about the usecase for it.
But it's not MicrosoftCertified Professional.
(05:04):
It's actually a model context,protocol and the.
The thing that we've reached interms of ai agents remember,
agents are the topic for 2025 isagents are now or llms or ais
are now taking actionable typethings.
They have access to tools to goand do things.
(05:25):
Before, we've mostly beenchatting with it.
Right, we'll say, hey, can youtell me a great title for this?
Or tell me what to write insidethis Instagram feed based on
this picture?
Right, and then the LLM or theAI would generate some output.
Hey, draft me a business plan, the first draft of my business
plan.
My business plan is about this, that and this, and then it
(05:49):
starts to do it.
Right, but there are going tobe different things that we're
going to ask the AI to do evenmore, like hey, go and send an
email to Raymond and let himknow that I'll be late to our
meeting this afternoon because Igot something going on and then
also update my calendar.
If you didn't hear, there aretwo things that I gave the AI
actions to do, which is to golog into Gmail and draft an
email and then go log back intoGmail and send out an update to
(06:12):
the calendar invite.
Those are called tools andthose are the actions that AI
are using and ultimately makingthem into agents.
Right, but the problem thatwe've run into, especially with
so many companies having theirown way of defining what those
actions are like Google has away of doing it, microsoft has a
way of doing it, yahoo Mail hasa way of doing it, and you can
(06:36):
plug this thing into anythingfrom connecting to DoorDash's
API or Instacart API andbasically taking actions and
dealing with it.
And I did mention a word therethat I'm hoping that you all are
more familiar with, which iscalled API.
You all have heard that before.
Right, it's an application, programmable interface, and what
it is is.
It's the way that mostcomputers on the Internet
(06:58):
communicate with each other, right, it's like hey, if you go
to this URL, this path, when Italk to you, I talk to you
through a data structure calledJSON, and I'm talking based on
the API call, really usingsomething called REST, restful
APIs.
Now that technology RESTfulAPIs has done wonders for us.
(07:19):
When I worked at Twitter, mostof all of our inputs or outputs
that we were interacting withour clients was through APIs.
There are different type ofprotocols that you can enable
through APIs to speed up theprocess, but the problem is is
that LLMs or AIs don't reallycommunicate well with changing
APIs, and the thing that ismissing is a standard protocol
(07:41):
that every company is going tostart to adopt so that they can
provide a way or an interfacefor AIs or instances of LLMs to
communicate with each other.
The way that I like to displaythis is I do have another
diagram here and let me see if Ican find it.
Oh right, here here goes.
A really good image is if youlook at this image here, most of
(08:02):
the times, ai agents arecommunicating with apis, and
those apis are the tools likegoogle, doordash, instacart
whatever you feel like an actualservice provider or application
will provide is mostly an apiright, and the new kid on the
block is now this new protocolcalled mcp not microsoft
(08:24):
certified professional, butmodel context protocol and what
it does is it standardize theway that ai is going to
communicate with companies thatare going to create these um mcp
servers.
It's almost like we're goingfrom an error of.
Most communications is donethrough restfulful APIs.
Now most communication on theinternet is going to move to
(08:46):
this new protocol called MCP.
I think it's going to bebeneficial for developers and
people that are writing code, that have had the challenges of
maintaining code that changes asAPIs become available.
And the cool thing about thisarchitecture actually introduced
by I believe it's Anthropixthat originally came up with
this idea, which is one of thebigger AI labs out there.
(09:11):
I believe it is Anthropix, orClaude, I believe.
But in general, this newprotocol basically allows for
the companies to develop itrather than the users always
have to change it.
So in the world right now, let's say that I created an AI
agent that talks to Google andthen Google changes their API.
That means now I need to go andupdate my code to make sure I
(09:32):
support the new API and thenanother month later, google
decides to change it again.
I've got to go update my code, but with this new architecture,
what happens is thatresponsibility shifts to Google
now, so Google has to maintainthose changes and all I need to
do is just my LLM will juststill interact with that
interface as it normally does,so it is a game changer.
I know it's a little techiethat we're talking about, and
(09:53):
we're talking about protocolscommunication, but just think of
it as a way for us to easilyinteract with companies via this
new protocol, rather than usingthe standard RESTful API
protocol.
That makes yeah, yeah, yeah,yeah.
Speaker 3 (10:06):
Any questions about
that no, yeah, I got a question
now.
Has the industry adopted this?
Speaker 1 (10:10):
this is set in stone,
or all the ai company's gonna
follow suit well, I will saythat I did this uh google search
to see how much people areactually starting to talk more
about it is there is an increasein in people looking up on the
internet and you may have seenit, and even in your feed if you
follow along a lot of API stuffis that more people are talking
about this protocol.
It's still very, very new.
(10:32):
I'm not going to front.
I even had to go read thesource to actually really
understand what's going on andthere's still people that are
still developing.
But this is going to be thefuture, right, it's going to be.
Speaker 3 (10:43):
A lot of companies
are going to have to adopt this
so that they can make it easierfor ais to interact with their
company yeah, because remember, like you know, I'm going to go
real old school now, back in thedays, like with you know,
remember dvds and blu-ray, likethey were fighting which was
going to be the standard and allthat.
I just hope that you know this, doesn't you know?
Yeah, yeah one of those type ofthings.
Speaker 1 (11:05):
So and it is actually
anthropic that that actually
came out with this uh protocoland they've actually had it out
for at least a good you know, since november.
So it's more people now areadopting it.
Um, but you are right there, there are going to be, um,
better and newer technologies orchanges that are going to come
out.
Uh, obviously you can see thatDVDs it went from DVDs to
(11:28):
Blu-rays like that shift right,or just regular CDs to DVDs that
shift right.
It's basically the same.
Speaker 2 (11:35):
What's up D All this
fucking money I fucking wasted
and shit Because you guys make a.
I'm bringing back the oldschool here.
You had DVDs and then you hadthe options To choose from DVD
to freaking Blu-ray, and nowNone of that shit Is available
Everything is just Done.
Now I got a whole bunch, acloset full of DVDs With
(11:56):
Blu-rays.
Speaker 1 (11:57):
And stuff I do too,
it's no, damn it.
Yeah, the good old days.
Right, I would have known that.
Speaker 2 (12:03):
And then I used to
think about because, remember,
they used to have, uh aka, theywere supposed to bring out the
small dvds like these littlemicro mini.
That shit never came out.
Speaker 1 (12:13):
But yeah, that's
crazy but that's the thing is
that that's what these protocolsare.
New ways of doing come out andthen either they get adopted or
they don't, right, um, the coolthing about this one is is that
it is programmatically a newprotocol for you to communicate
on, so there's not that much ofinvestment, other than, hey, I
got to go create my own for mycompany of mcp server.
(12:33):
But, um, yeah, it's going tochange, it's going to iterate.
I mean, we've lived through it,right we went from cassette
tapes.
I mean for me, I went fromcassette tapes to d.
No, actually from records tocassette tapes, to dv or CDs, to
DVDs, blu-rays, and noweverything is digital.
So I don't even Floppy disk.
Oh, you even brought up an oldone.
Wow, that's an old one Floppydisk, right?
(12:55):
You remember when they used tosay, hey, my dog ate my homework
?
Literally, your dog ate yourfloppy disk, it's a wrap.
Dog ate your floppy disk, it'sa wrap, but yeah.
So, uh, those that areinterested in learning a little
bit more about this protocol, orlearning a little bit more and
this you know deep understandingof ai holla at us over here at
the tech hustle.
We have a very strong communityhere on school.
Just go to wwwtechhustlecom, click join community.
(13:18):
If you want to learn more.
Even in the comments below, just put in the word mcp.
If you see us on IG, put in MCP.
I'm watching it and I willdefinitely follow up with you
and get you involved in, youknow, developing this new
skillset Because, um, if y'alldidn't know, ai is not our
number one top subject becausethe world is changing and I need
our community to be leveled upand ready for it.
(13:39):
So, uh, definitely.
Thank y'all so much for thetime and if you do have any
questions, the comments arethere.
I read each and every one ofthem and definitely looking for
you all to level up.
So MCP is a new protocol onthese streets.
Speaker 2 (13:51):
All right, all right,
all right Sounds good.
Speaker 1 (13:53):
About 15 minutes.
I'm right at time A little bit.
Speaker 2 (13:55):
I wasn't looking, but
okay, all right, All right D.
What we we got going on in newtech, current events and news.
Man.
All right, all right, ladiesand gentlemen, as far as tech
news, I got a couple stuff.
Uh, let's start off with ourbeautiful meta ray-ban glasses,
just like the one I'm wearing, right?
(14:16):
Now, but it's going to be a newone, which is going to be
limited just to 3,600 pairs.
A nice transparent black withgray mirror lens and a nice
Coupang logo on the side.
Nothing changed but the color.
Speaker 3 (14:35):
That's it.
Speaker 2 (14:36):
Yeah, wow, okay, yeah
, $549 for you guys.
That wants it.
Nothing changed, it's just asleeker sophisticated look yeah.
I mean, it could be up to yourtaste, up to your liking.
I don't know what sophisticatedlook, because for me the one I
(14:57):
have is a sophisticated look.
Speaker 1 (14:58):
It's transparent.
Speaker 2 (14:59):
Yeah, but I don't
think those are going to be
transparent.
So to each his own.
Speaker 1 (15:06):
Well, tell us about
your experience so far with the
Ray-Bans.
Speaker 2 (15:09):
It's good, man, it's
good, and it's kind of weird
because I don't wear glasses, just like people who wear a
prescription.
Speaker 1 (15:16):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (15:20):
So it's a little bit
weird for me.
My wife wears glasses on aconsistent basis and every time
I have it on and then when I goto eat, I take them off.
You're not supposed to takethem off.
I'm like, I'm trying to eathere, I'm not, I don't need to
eat with my glasses and shitgets fogged up.
Speaker 1 (15:33):
That's y'all guys
problems you don't need to deal
with glasses.
Speaker 2 (15:36):
I only use the one I
need to use the one I need to
record, take pictures, whateverI need to do that's what I do.
I don't need to eat it, andthen have stuff Going on my
glasses.
Speaker 1 (15:45):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (15:45):
But I understand, for
people who wear glasses,
there's no, you know, there's nolove and hate.
Speaker 1 (15:50):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (15:51):
I just can have them
on On a consistent basis, like
if I have them on right now,I'll take them off For having
them on for a long time.
You see that little imprint Onthe side of my nose?
Yeah, but I don't wear glasseslike that, so it's getting used
to.
But other than that phenomenal, meta does their thing.
Speaker 1 (16:09):
Yeah, the tech, the
tech is good.
Speaker 2 (16:10):
The tech is good.
It tells me exactly a lot ofinformation.
I take pictures.
Again, I do a minute video.
You have the option between aminute, one minute and then a
three minute.
If you do the three minuteminute it does drain your
battery.
So please just make a list umcarry your charger if you're
trying to have it on on aconsistent basis like that uh,
(16:31):
but I can say to the wholeentire day, I'm up to maybe like
60, 70 percent yeah, so goodbattery life then good battery
life.
but if I use it on a consistentconsistent I'm on the 30% tile
on the eight-hour day.
Speaker 1 (16:47):
But other than that
phenomenal thing, so where do
you see this technology going, since you've been using it?
Speaker 2 (16:56):
Progressing Again.
It is not waterproof.
Speaker 1 (17:01):
Don't jump in there.
Speaker 2 (17:02):
Or if it's raining.
If it's raining, yeah, it isnot, so please Do not have it
Again.
This is things that they haveto start improving.
This is stuff I mean, like Iknow you have glasses.
They need to realize that, okay, you're going to wear these
glasses, you want to takeBeautiful pictures, but you know
water resistance at least.
Yeah, yeah, you know somethinghigh quality on a product.
(17:25):
She's telling me now I can'tuse it on the rain or whatever.
So this comes to my other point.
I know you guys Meta.
This is to Meta.
Speaker 1 (17:36):
Listen up listen up.
Speaker 2 (17:37):
I know you guys have
these for prescription for
people who use it on an everydaybasis.
So you're telling me if itrains you have to take off your
glasses to people who are usingthe glasses, or they have to
switch it out.
That's a good point.
What are we doing here?
Speaker 1 (17:54):
Yeah, well, this is
probably like their second or
third version.
Yeah, this is their secondversion.
Speaker 2 (18:01):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (18:03):
It'll get better.
It'll definitely get better.
Speaker 2 (18:05):
Yeah, I'm not
knocking it yet but, but I, I
like it.
Speaker 1 (18:07):
I mean, I like the
fact that it's like uh, you can
you like?
When you were wearing I didn'teven really notice it, or or
even like it didn't really makeit like uh, man, what does he
got on his, his face, right, right, because when I had the
bows one it used to have areally nice thick side to it.
So everybody when they saw itwas like what the heck?
is that this one just looks likeit's a regular glasses right,
um.
And then the technology that'sbuilt into it.
It's almost like somebody'swhispering in your ear, yeah, um
(18:30):
, and nobody else can hear it.
Speaker 2 (18:31):
So nobody else can
hear it, definitely unless I
make something.
I play pretty loud and you canprobably hear like somebody
saying what?
What are they saying?
Speaker 1 (18:38):
I don't know all
right ray bands on these streets
coming out, transparent,transparent.
What up now?
Speaker 2 (18:46):
the next one.
We have amazon.
This is exactly for my man overhere.
Uh, raymond, don't call me rayray.
Amazon is removing echo privacysetting that keeps alexa
recording from the company.
All right, so that all right.
So amazon is basically removingthe Echo device later on this
month.
I don't know if you guys know, alexa currently uses an opt-in
(19:10):
feature called Do Not Send VoiceRecording.
It stops audio requests frombeing sent to the company.
So, regardless whether you havethe Do Not Save features on or
off, alexa will process it tothe cloud regardless and send it
out there and send it out there.
Speaker 1 (19:26):
Yeah, that's a.
Speaker 2 (19:28):
Sorry, it is funny,
but I mean they are listening.
Speaker 1 (19:32):
They are listening,
they're like we got them.
Speaker 2 (19:33):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (19:34):
We got them Knocking
at your door, seeing what's
going on, you know.
Speaker 2 (19:38):
So, wow, just want to
let you know.
This is why I Don't like Alexain my house.
Yeah, but I do have some alexadevices.
I'm waiting for raymond to comescoop it up, but I guess
they're unplugged, thoughthey're unplugged, they're
unplugged uh.
But yeah, you gotta uh, just becareful what you guys say,
because it's gonna go up to theaka the cloud.
Speaker 1 (19:57):
Yeah, for all you
guys.
Uh, you know it should be theopposite way it should be.
You automatically are notincluded in it, and then you, as
a user, you go turn the switchon too, rather than what they're
doing Out of all the companies.
Literally, the way that I couldsee this happen is now and this
(20:18):
is like thinking, not even thatfar ahead is Raymond will be in
his house and his daughter willsay hey, dad, um the bathroom,
we need more toilet paper.
And I'm like, oh, uh, we needto buy no toilet paper, ah, and
then he forgets about it.
And then a few hours later, ding, ding, somebody pulls up to
the house with an amazondelivery of you know the the
costco size pack of toilet papertype stuff.
(20:40):
Like what do y'all feel aboutthat?
Speaker 2 (20:42):
because that's where
it's coming to uh, first of all,
number one, my conversationinside my house is my
conversation inside the houseit's not for alexa, it's not for
echo, it's not for google, it'snot for anybody.
So I feel good about it becauseI can sue you guys at the end of
the day, because that'sinvasion of privacy.
Uh, it's the same way, um.
When you're in the bathroom inthe public area, you're not able
(21:05):
to record in the bathroom facts.
Yeah, so if you get somethinginside the bathroom, you're a
liability.
You're automatically for me.
But I don't know, maybe raymondlikes something like that.
What do you?
What do you think, raymond?
Speaker 3 (21:16):
yeah, now you
everybody knows I'm a huge fan
of the echo devices.
I probably have more echodevices in my house than anybody
than people than people yeah Idon't know why yeah, I have them
all over.
I got them in the backyard allthe bathrooms, um yeah, living
room, family room, anyways.
(21:36):
I can go on and on.
But yeah, huge fan, but I'm nota fan of this.
I was reading about this theother day and I was like, oh no,
this is bad.
I cannot believe they're doingthis because, yeah, like you
said, your conversations in yourhouse is private.
So there was an article acouple years ago where amazon
had recorded somebody talkingabout a murder and it went to
(21:57):
the cloud and stuff, and therewas a whole big thing about like
, should they like, investigatethis person and all that.
So, yeah, I don't like this.
Obviously I have nothing tohide, but I do not like this at
all.
Speaker 1 (22:08):
So you don't have
nothing to hide, mr anonymous on
the internet, uh yeahregardless.
Speaker 3 (22:15):
Yeah, I don't want
them like recording my convos
and putting it in the cloud.
This is bad, so that's crazy.
But yeah, i't like it.
Speaker 2 (22:22):
I think that's the
world we're in now and I think,
at the end of the day, we areallowing it.
Perfect example.
It's funny how I have aconversation with you guys.
Let's say, I want to plan atrip to Puerto Rico.
All of a sudden, I'm gettingemails about trips, about Puerto
Rico Facts.
So are you listening to myconversation or are you picking
(22:46):
and choosing what you guys wantto hear?
So you can't say these big, humongous, crazy words, like you
know, like bomb, kill, threat,et cetera, et cetera, et cetera,
et cetera, because at the endof the day, you are a target for
the government.
You know.
So we are being monetized, ifyou can say but are we?
(23:10):
Why are we allowing this?
Is there a setting that you'renot able to well, well, that
that's the thing is.
Speaker 1 (23:17):
This is the thing
that makes this even more
crazier is that normally they'resupposed to provide a setting,
but this is saying now we'regoing to take that setting away
Like that's even worse, that'seven like.
Speaker 3 (23:27):
I mean they're going
to hear the conversation they're
going to hear everything.
Speaker 1 (23:32):
I mean and this is
the thing that I was actually
talking to my wife about thisand I was kind of making a joke
about it just to see what hermindset was Because I have this
and I'm not going to drop theidea, but I have this idea
around AI is always listeningand that's basically what
they're going to have.
Is these Alexis devices aregoing to be AI that's always
listening and it's going to belistening more intentively
(23:52):
because now it knows how tolisten and now it has this AI
LLM behind it.
But the thing is is that wealready do that now.
Speaker 2 (23:59):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (24:00):
We are.
Our phone is always listening.
It's always listening Our, our, our, you.
You walk outside, your car evenlistens, right, everything has
a microphone and listens.
It just depends on if it'sconnected to the internet, if it
is somebody's getting that data.
If not, then that's the onlyway that you can manage this
stuff locally.
That's crazy.
Speaker 2 (24:17):
I don't get it.
It's a perfect example.
Like you just said, they'realways listening and they always
know.
For example, I am today.
I knew that I was going to work.
I knew that it was going totake me approximately 45 to 48
minutes to get to work.
And then it's just telling mewould you like to take this
route?
And I was like first of all inmy head, I'm like I didn't tell
you where the fuck.
Speaker 1 (24:38):
I was going.
How do you know I'm going towork today?
How do you know I'm going towork today?
Speaker 2 (24:41):
I'm going to work
today, and how you know which
route I'm going to take or nottake.
This is the.
This is the thing that you know, scares, people you know of, of
basically privacy back.
Let's go back to the originalconversation.
How you say, how alexa says youran out of toilet paper and
then the amazon come.
Now I get it.
Let's say you bring an amazon, but who accepted this amazon?
(25:04):
Because is this coming out ofmy account?
Because I didn't pay for thistoilet paper that's coming to my
house, you know.
So what are we doing?
Speaker 1 (25:10):
here, this guy.
Yeah, especially it's onautomatic pay right.
Speaker 2 (25:14):
Yeah, it's on
automatic pay.
Speaker 1 (25:16):
That's funny.
Speaker 2 (25:17):
I digress, anyway,
back to our original program,
ladies and gentlemen, back tostop listening and stuff like
that.
Here's another Womp, womp, womp.
I'm really getting Fuckingtired of Apple Giving me another
update.
Wow, okay, just this pastCouple days ago, apple just
Launched 18.3.2 On all devicesIOS, ipad, mac Version.
(25:41):
I don't.
I don't understand, and youguys keep calling it security
updates.
What's fucked up from the lastone, from this one?
Why you keep telling me it'sthe same shit on a consistent
basis.
Speaker 1 (25:56):
Yeah, this is the
shit.
Speaker 2 (25:59):
Listen, people, if
you want to bring out a product
now, this is the time to do itbecause, as you can see see,
nobody's perfect.
Speaker 1 (26:06):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (26:07):
You're going to get
updates on a consistent basis.
Speaker 1 (26:10):
Your product just has
to sell, and that's what it is.
They're just looking at thesales.
Yeah, yeah, we made the salesthough.
Yeah, we made the sales.
We made the quarter this month.
Speaker 2 (26:21):
We're doing
phenomenal, but we got two
security updates that we need toget out like right now but it's
a concern like I want tounderstand.
Every three months, every youknow whatever, but it's been
like in the last month or so,two to three, yeah.
Yeah, it's been a lot like comeon, man, and this isn't like,
(26:41):
uh, the beta.
Speaker 1 (26:42):
I understand beta,
like if you sign up for the beta
, there's always going to be newreleases and stuff like this,
but this is the standard onethat's out there that they want
everybody to be running on.
And the other thing is,whenever you look at versioning,
you see this version number18.3.
The .3 definitely means morefeatures and potentially,
security updates, but when it's3.something else, that something
(27:04):
else is a securityvulnerability, yes, definitely.
Anytime you see the third dot, that means that this is like and
this is the second one, becausethey had one earlier like the
article you posted here saidFebruary, and look, we're not
even at the end of March andthere's already another one that
came out.
I'm waiting for 18.3.3.
Speaker 2 (27:23):
The next thing you
know, 18.4 is coming out.
And next thing, you know we'reon, you know 19.
This is crazy, and I haven'teven got to Google, that's
another story.
So Samsung and et cetera, etcetera, but it is what it is All
right.
So next subject is for ourbeautiful people who are using
computers.
Microsoft has launched a newmalware called the rat.
(27:47):
Discover a new.
It's a remote access trojan foreverybody who wants to use it.
Wow.
So this new, um, so I'mpronouncing it.
Give me a moment.
Uh, stellachi, rat is a newdiscovery, remote access trojan,
which is called aka rat.
Basically, it uses advancedtechnology to invade detection,
(28:09):
maintain persistence and stealsensitive data wow basically
what this does is a compatiblefor data death, death, data
death.
Speaker 1 (28:20):
I'm sorry, wow it's
alright player uh you know, uh,
oh, but one thing I'm readinghere is that it's focusing on
cryptocurrencies wallets.
Yes, that's crazy.
So we have a new malware, andif you're not familiar with a
malware or virus, is basicallyyour your computer's, infected.
Everybody knows what a virus isright, but the thing about this
(28:40):
one is is that, like Dee wassaying, is that it's starting to
evade detection and utilize RDPsessions to capture information
.
So you know what RDP is right, raymond?
Yes, that's the remote desktopprotocol or something like that
we were talking about anotherprotocol earlier, but man,
microsoft is notoriously knownfor these type of things is
(29:00):
notoriously known for these typeof things, but the thing that
I'm most worried about is thatthis type of infection is
targeting cryptocurrency, because a lot of people are
going to lose a lot of financesbecause of this man.
This is crazy.
That's a nasty one.
Speaker 2 (29:18):
It does a lot.
It collects system information, tracks active windows and
applications and, of course, like you guys said, monitors RDP
sessions.
Wow, it uses a watchdog threadto enhance its stay active and
reinstalls itself if removed.
Speaker 3 (29:34):
Wow, that is crazy.
Speaker 2 (29:36):
Now that's some
skills right there.
And of course, attackers canexecute commands manipulately,
file and act as a proxy forfurther malicious activity.
Speaker 1 (29:50):
So how many of y'all
still run Windows, microsoft,
you still run Windows oranything?
Yes, ah, sucks.
Speaker 3 (29:55):
Which Windows do you
run?
I have Windows 10.
Speaker 2 (29:58):
10?
.
Speaker 1 (29:58):
Okay.
Speaker 2 (29:58):
Windows 10?
Isn't 10?
Speaker 3 (29:59):
like 11?
My computer cannot.
I don't qualify for the upgrade.
Oh, okay, I basically need anew computer.
Speaker 1 (30:07):
You need a new
computer.
Speaker 2 (30:08):
Hey, when they do
that, it forces you to buy
something new.
Speaker 3 (30:13):
Yeah, that's crazy,
and they are already working on
Windows 12.
I think that comes out nextyear or this year, yeah.
Speaker 2 (30:20):
But here's the thing
If you download 11 and you don't
like it, you can always go backto 10, right?
Or are they stopping stuff likethat when you like, Apple is?
Speaker 1 (30:30):
I don't know if you
can go backwards, especially if
a device requires a certaindevice level for you to get to
11.
You might be able to, but yougot to do it yourself.
You got to be a techie enoughto understand how to uninstall
the operating system.
Install a new one, correct.
Speaker 2 (30:44):
I understand how to
uninstall the operating system.
Speaker 1 (30:47):
Install a new one,
but correct, I mean.
Speaker 3 (30:48):
But I know a lot of
companies right now probably
running windows 10, windows xp.
Speaker 2 (30:51):
Still you know
they're not, they're not even
looking at microsoft 365, youknow, yeah, and stuff like that.
So but that's.
Speaker 1 (30:57):
That's why these
malwares and these viruses the
one that you're reporting heredo so well is because so many
people are still on olderversions of the operating system
or running windows xp, windows9 or whatever, and the corporate
settings.
That's why, when these thingsstart to go crazy, they just
spread like wildfire, you knowwhat's in where is?
Speaker 2 (31:15):
my thing is so, if
you have a windows let's say
windows 9, 10 or whatever thecase may be, and perfect example
, he said he has a 10, he can'tupgrade to 11, but you get this
malware, is it?
Are you able to download it onthe windows 10?
And then, because, since you'renot able to upgrade, isn't it
(31:36):
for newer, yeah, et cetera, etcetera yeah, they.
Speaker 1 (31:39):
They kind of lock you
in that situation too.
It's.
It's actually somewhat abenefit for microsoft further to
be a malware that only affectsa specific version, especially
if it's older version, becauseit forces the hands.
But companies like microsoftare supposed to write code to
fix the problem to prevent thisfrom happening.
Um, yeah, I mean that.
That's why they also havesomething called end of life.
(32:00):
You ever heard that, like xp isend of life for, uh, this
version of the operating system?
In the life?
It means like, hey, if there'sa malware or something that
comes out, we're not working onit, it's end of life.
You have to upgrade to thenewest version, which is windows
12.
So they have situations wherethey have to provide support and
then there's situations wherethey just say it's done, yeah,
it's your problem.
Now I know some of thesemalwares that say they're not
compatible with 10 or 11 orwhatever the case it only works
(32:21):
on.
Speaker 2 (32:21):
Now I know some of
these models that say they're
not compatible with 10 or 11 orwhatever the case, it only works
on I.
I know a company right now, aswe speak, uh, is using microsoft
seven wow, that's crazy umwhich is completely crazy to me
don't want to update it.
They think is is doing aphenomenal for the company
that's dangerous yeah, I don'teven know if seven is still
(32:42):
available anymore.
Speaker 3 (32:43):
Yeah, I mean that's,
they can't get new software and
updates, and that's interesting.
Wow, yeah, oh, okay, I meansometimes with these companies.
Speaker 1 (32:51):
if you think about
the financial, yeah, they can't
afford it.
Yeah, right, if you have 1,000employees and each of them have
a computer, that's 1,000computers that I got to go buy
licensing for got to go buylicense.
Speaker 2 (33:07):
But if you're, if
you're a company and you're
trying to stay up to speed or onpace or whatever, it's okay to
save up for some type of youknow upgrades.
Yeah, it doesn't have to beright away, maybe in the next
two years or three.
Perfect.
When I was working at a companyI was on sap and the new
version sap handle was out.
They didn't want to get it yeahso, in order for you to get it,
(33:28):
you will have to, like, pay forthe class, and then, if you ever
decide to go to a differentcompany and they have hannah, at
least you're up to date.
Speaker 1 (33:35):
Yeah, yeah, so it's
yeah, those are the pros and
cons in the tech industry, especially when you're working
at um.
Like for-profit old schoolfortune 500 companies, they're
not going to be on the bleedingedge.
New technology right, they'regoing to be like, hey, we'll
push that down five more years, but those are the same companies
that are at risk for malwarelike this right.
(33:56):
And then when it spreads, itspreads like wildfire.
Speaker 2 (33:58):
Some of these
companies.
I was working for anothercompany and people were scared.
I was on AS400 and they did notwant to upgrade crazy at all.
They wanted to stay in as400but they got sap and I was like,
oh, thank god, but I'm notgonna lie man, as400 was easy
peasy for me.
Speaker 1 (34:16):
All you need to know
is the commands, the right, like
the right menus to go through.
Speaker 2 (34:20):
Oh my god yeah, we
gotta switch.
Yeah, yeah, but yeah, man, other than that, that's all I
got, ladies and gentlemen allright d.
Speaker 1 (34:26):
Thank you so much for
the tech news.
And y'all be careful in thesestreets running older versions.
And uh, even though we talkedish about apple releasing all
these security updates, y'allbetter be upgrading because that
means there's a problem outthere.
So, um, next up, we got my guyraymond don't call him ray ray
what you you got for us on theseinformation sites today.
Player.
What you got.
Speaker 3 (34:44):
All right.
So this morning and this week'ssegments I'm going to focus on
saving money.
Speaker 1 (34:51):
Saving money, my guy.
Speaker 3 (34:52):
Yeah, this is all
going to be about, like
financial literacy, and I'mtrying to save some money this
year and I want to help ourlisteners too.
Oh, you're not trying to, youknow yeah, spend it, fly people
out and stuff like that.
I'm not, I'm not trying to dothat.
The first one up here is we'veall heard of dave ramsey, right,
yes, yeah, the most you knowthe financial guru.
(35:13):
He's been out for years.
Some people like him, somepeople don't.
He gives you very cookie cutter, great advice.
Um, financial advice is great.
This is um Another alternativeto him, this gentleman called
Clark.
He's got a website calledClarkcom, just like David Ramsey
, excuse me.
(35:33):
Wow, yeah, so he does financialliteracy.
He has a podcast.
What's great about him, too, isthey don't take any payola,
they don't take any informationfrom companies and stuff like
that.
So website is great.
His podcast is great.
So it tells you about you know, hey, the different phone plans,
how you can save money, how youcan save on streaming services,
(35:55):
because these streamingservices are getting out of
control?
yes, they are we like addingthem all up and stuff like that.
It's um just another differentavenue to dave ramsey.
Speaker 1 (36:05):
So yeah, yeah
gentleman clark.
Speaker 3 (36:07):
He has got a website
and he's got a podcast.
Speaker 1 (36:09):
So yeah, you checked
out his podcast and stuff like
that.
Speaker 3 (36:11):
Yeah, I did so.
Speaker 1 (36:12):
Yeah, yeah, got some
good stuff here.
I mean, and and for ouraudience.
Uh, financial literacy and andlearning about the ways to save
money and and position yourselfis always foundational here.
So, uh, thanks so much for that, raymond.
I think it's going to be areally good informational
website, but also, I think, autility site too, correct.
Speaker 2 (36:30):
Most reliable car for
your savings.
This has a Porsche idea for you.
Speaker 1 (36:34):
That's crazy, that's
what it says the most reliable
car.
Speaker 2 (36:38):
For your money and
that's a.
Speaker 3 (36:39):
Porsche for me,
unless I don't know my cars.
Well, they just put that as athumbnail.
Speaker 2 (36:46):
Oh okay, it's not a
good thumbnail to put on there,
but yeah, this is cool.
Speaker 3 (36:52):
You just clicked on
the cars and stuff and it's got
the points and stuff for themost reliable cars, subaru you
can see Lexus and Toyota.
Speaker 1 (37:00):
Would you?
Speaker 3 (37:00):
agree with that?
Speaker 2 (37:01):
I don't know much
about Subarus.
Subarus are very good.
They have a very nice pointinspection going on slash.
As far as safety, very, verygood safety, very good.
They remind me of, oh my God,not Volvo, volvo's also good,
but also back in the days ofSaab Saab.
Speaker 1 (37:24):
Ah, yeah, used to be
a great car slash, big safety
car.
Uh, fortunately they don't makethem anymore, but yeah yeah,
that's what's up, and at the topof the list, uh haitians, uh
favorite brands, uh toyota andhonda.
Let's give them a round ofapplause.
Acura mazda yeah yeah, I meantechnically, isn't Acura and
Honda the same company and thenLexus and Toyota the same
(37:48):
company?
Speaker 2 (37:48):
Same company.
It's just more of their luxury.
Speaker 1 (37:52):
Luxury.
Speaker 2 (37:54):
So Honda, you have
your regular Honda and then you
have your luxury, which is Acura.
Same thing with Toyota.
Speaker 1 (38:00):
And look at this the
two most Honda Civic and Toyota
Corolla.
You know what I just found out?
Gosh, oh my gosh.
And look at this the two mostHonda Civic and.
Speaker 2 (38:04):
Toyota.
Speaker 1 (38:04):
Corolla.
Speaker 3 (38:04):
Yeah, yeah, you know
what I just found out, gosh, the
most famous car in the entirecountry is Toyota Camry.
Speaker 1 (38:15):
Toyota Camry.
Oh, I could definitely see that.
Speaker 3 (38:17):
Yeah, it is literally
like the most popular car in
the United States.
Speaker 1 (38:20):
I didn't know that, I
just found that out a few
months ago.
Speaker 3 (38:22):
Yeah, yeah.
Speaker 1 (38:28):
Yeah, for the united
states I didn't know.
Speaker 2 (38:28):
I just found that out
a few months ago.
Yeah, yeah, yeah for sure, bigshout outs to him and definitely
this is a great site to checkout this information.
Sorry, for sidebar over here.
Your thumbnail is not the best, but we need to reevaluate you
guys.
Speaker 3 (38:33):
Uh, networking here
but um yeah, yeah, tells you how
to save.
You know homeowners insurancecars your cell phone plans,
streaming, you know.
So yeah, just you know, tryingto save some money.
Speaker 1 (38:43):
So yeah, that's
what's up all right, what else
you got on your list player allright.
Speaker 3 (38:47):
The next one here is
before I drop it in here like
I'm on a mission here all right, what's up?
There's a stranglehold on theindustry.
Now I've been trying to figureout a way to get rid of cable
for years now.
It's almost impossible to getrid of cable because they have a
stranglehold on you.
I am a big sports fan, I lovesports and it's almost
(39:09):
impossible for me to get rid ofmy cable because of you know
this industry, what they do toyou.
So I dropped the gem in herefor this website called
AntanaWebcom.
If you're trying to save money, get rid of your cable, which is
almost impossible.
I mean, you can do it to anextent.
But the problem with me is,let's just say I wanted to get
(39:29):
rid of my cable.
I could go full-blown antennabut I wouldn't be able to watch
some of the playoff games oncollege football because ESPN
has those and ESPN has some ofthe playoff games.
So literally you could cut thecord and watch all of your
channels over the air, but thenagain, you know, I would be left
out because ESPN, you can't buythat as a standalone app.
(39:50):
Yeah, you can only get it ifyou have cable.
So ESPN has some NFL playoffs, they've got college football, so
but if you're a guy or a girlthat doesn't care about sports
and you're trying to cut yourcable, check out this site it's
called AntanaWebcom and it willgive you all of the free
channels in your area.
(40:11):
Then literally all you need isan antenna.
And if you don't care aboutsports, obviously you know you
get all your local channels.
You can watch the super bowland stuff like that.
But if you're not like acollege football fan, like me,
and college basketball, youdon't care about espn, cut the
cord and check out this site andgo get yourself an antenna to
save you some money.
Speaker 2 (40:26):
Hold on, hold on hold
on what's up.
D.
Speaker 3 (40:30):
An antenna.
Speaker 2 (40:31):
An antenna yes.
Who the fuck has antenna thesedays?
Speaker 1 (40:35):
I'm raising my hand
right here.
Speaker 3 (40:36):
Bobby D's raising his
hand.
Bobby D has an antenna.
What the?
Speaker 2 (40:39):
fuck y'all doing with
an antenna, I mean.
That shit is with an antenna Imean now listen, it's time to
let go.
Speaker 1 (40:43):
I agree with you, but
it's time to let go, don't
think of it as going backwards.
Don't think of it as looks likeit's the bunny years, like we
used to back on the days moreadvanced than that.
I mean low-key, and we're 80sbabies, so we know the error I'm
an 80s baby too.
Speaker 2 (41:00):
I don't have no
fucking antenna.
Sometimes you just have to takethe l guys.
But you are also a sports fan.
Speaker 1 (41:07):
I am so I mean yeah,
the antenna won't work for you.
It would not work for you, or?
Speaker 3 (41:12):
me, and if you don't
care about sports like that, you
can go this route, like I had acolleague at my last job.
He was full-blown antenna yeah,he didn't care about sports
like that.
He watches the superbowl andall that, but he doesn't watch
college football, collegebasketball, and it works great
for him.
Speaker 1 (41:26):
It does play it.
You just gotta watch the localteams.
Speaker 3 (41:29):
You gotta watch the
local teams.
Speaker 1 (41:32):
And it's HD too, bro.
You talk about 4K.
It's almost coming in at 4K.
Speaker 2 (41:37):
The only way people
will get antenna these days If
you're living in an apartment orif the.
Hoa basically helps you outWith cable the regular cable If
you're living in an apartment,or if the HOA basically helps
you out with cable the regularcable.
Gotcha, nobody in here hasantenna, okay.
Speaker 3 (41:51):
That's not true.
Bobby D has an antenna.
What does that mean?
Speaker 1 (41:55):
I 100% have an
antenna at the house.
He's probably that 1% that hasan antenna.
Speaker 2 (42:00):
There's people that
live, so what?
Speaker 1 (42:02):
is the antenna for,
so the antenna itself so don't
think, don't think of it asbunny ears.
Okay, so it's not like I havebunny ears.
Speaker 2 (42:09):
All right, you're
limited to certain channels.
Speaker 1 (42:11):
Yes, you are limited
and you know great, great
example, because you're the oneactually gave me this idea to
get this tv, the samsung tv.
You know, samsung has his ownchannels, right, and the cool
thing about the samsung channelsis that if you add an antenna,
you get more channels.
So when I got the tv, I waslike, oh shit, I can actually
get the local channels too.
So then that's what made me getthe antenna.
(42:31):
But the cool thing is, when Iplugged in an antenna, I was
like, oh snap, I get some sportshd on sundays, especially
dolphins, a plan and also thesuper bowl.
Speaker 2 (42:41):
I was like all right,
this might be the new joint for
me.
This is where I had to come inand interject the situation If
the team that you're looking foris not on TV, it's because it's
not a popular game.
Speaker 1 (42:54):
Wow.
Yes, it's not a popular game, but I still want to watch my
local TV or my local team.
You have regular TV for thatRegular over-antana TV, that
Regular over antenna TV, yes.
Speaker 2 (43:05):
But if you really do
this, research the same channels
that you have on the antenna, you can get it on the basic
cable.
Speaker 1 (43:14):
You're not lying.
I don't want cable, but I don'twant to spend money on cable.
Speaker 2 (43:18):
You have no other
choice but to spend money on
cable.
Speaker 3 (43:21):
No, you don't.
So if you have a, streamingservice let me help you guys out
here.
Speaker 2 (43:24):
Let me educate
everybody out here.
I just got Hulu.
All right, hulu has live TV.
Yes, guess who was playing lastnight?
Mix versus Heat?
So you're able to have that.
Now.
If you guys want to watch agame that is not televised,
unfortunately antenna is notgoing to give you that option.
(43:47):
You're not lying, that's true.
There are other streamingservices.
Unfortunately, you have to payfor it.
This is the world that we'reliving in now, that we have to
pay.
Even if you don't fucking wantit, we have to pay.
If you want Perfect example, youtube has that sports that you
can pay.
Speaker 1 (44:03):
Oh, YouTube Live or
no.
Youtube TV.
Speaker 2 (44:05):
YouTube TV.
And then they also have thatsports.
Speaker 1 (44:08):
They're charging like
200.
Speaker 3 (44:10):
Yeah, the NFL package
, nfl package there.
Speaker 2 (44:12):
That's crazy.
That's when you can go aheadand look at everything, but you
really have to be into somecrazy sports to get into an
antenna to watch that game forfree.
Speaker 1 (44:28):
Well, remember, I
didn't get the antenna for
sports, I got the antenna forlocal channels, but you have
local channels on the regularstreaming services.
Speaker 2 (44:36):
Unfortunately, you
have to pay for it.
Yes, there's nobody here, notyou, not you, not me.
We all have, even if we don'twant to pay for it we have cable
we have to.
Speaker 1 (44:46):
Let me let me in a
check.
Let me have the cheapest one.
Let me interject, go ahead.
Speaker 2 (44:50):
So cable companies
have an option that you can get
internet only right withoutcable affirmative, I have, so
that's what I got so I haveinternet only and no.
Speaker 1 (45:02):
So I don't get no
cable channels from Comcast
Xfinity, none of that.
And I still get local channels, but I only get local channels
through the antenna.
So I have internet.
Yeah, I pay for Hulu and allthose.
Yes, I have to pay for those, but I'm not paying the extra
package for me to get all.
Let's say, for Hulu.
I have to pay an extra packagefor me to watch the dolphins.
(45:24):
Forget that, I'd rather justwatch the dolphins through the
antenna, correct, but that's it.
Like I'm only going to be ableto watch the dolphins, local
channels, and it it's onlysports for maybe an hour, and
other than that is going to beplaying reruns and local news
type stuff so let me give youguys a news flash local channels
and your antenna does have ABC.
(45:46):
Yes.
Speaker 2 (45:46):
Does have.
Fox Does have that, guess what.
They have that on Regular basiccable.
Yes, let me also give youanother newsflash about local
channels.
If you really look at localchannels, those are commercials
that they play on your regularnetwork, on your basic network.
So you're telling me that whenyou see Fox News and you see a
(46:11):
commercial that says, hey, callyour law firm services here, and
then you see the 561, that is alocal commercial.
Speaker 1 (46:21):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (46:23):
So there's no need
for you Now we having an
apocalypse and the fuckingworld's going crazy and the you
know TV is down.
That's where I'll see when I'lluse the antenna.
Speaker 3 (46:34):
The cool thing is, is
that I'ma still get TV?
Yeah, what is your rebuttal DFor someone who can't afford
basic cable?
Speaker 2 (46:40):
Who the fuck can't
afford basic cable?
Speaker 3 (46:42):
Bro, people can't
even buy eggs Today, man At the
end of the day.
Who the fuck can afford basiccable?
Bro, people can't even buy eggstoday, man At the end of the
day if you're broke if you'rebroke or can't afford, you're
definitely fine.
Speaker 2 (46:51):
I know a lot of
people who can afford cable and
they're stealing cable.
Speaker 3 (46:55):
Well, they're
stealing it because nobody wants
to pay for cable.
The cable is a dying model.
Speaker 2 (47:01):
There's a lot of
people these days that does not
have any type of service on it.
You choose not to have it.
That's your prerogative.
What if you can't afford it?
Though?
I haven't met one Until I meetthat one person, then this thing
my mom does not have cable orthe internet.
How is she watching TV?
It's not a cable, I guaranteeyou right now.
Speaker 3 (47:22):
She has a Fire TV
stick.
Speaker 1 (47:24):
How's she getting
internet then?
Speaker 3 (47:26):
It's my internet.
Speaker 1 (47:27):
What do you mean?
Your internet, it's, you know.
Speaker 2 (47:30):
This is where it
comes down, to Listen to this
very carefully.
Hold on, let me put him up realquick.
Speaker 3 (47:34):
She does not have
cable and she does not have the
internet.
And I have a neighbor Acrossthe street that's 75 years old.
He does not have the cable hejust he just watches his local
channel.
Speaker 1 (47:44):
So you have people
that don't want to pay for you
still didn't tell me how she gotthe fire stick to work, the
fire tv still works on theinternet.
Speaker 3 (47:51):
It's a hot spot ah so
you pay for a hot spot, yeah so
a hot spot is almost like awi-fi phone, yes, so she does
not have cable, she doesn't havethe internet, so she can't, you
know, watch any of this stuffbecause she doesn't have cable
yeah so there are people whodon't have cable and they just
(48:11):
watch regular tv.
So this is what this is for, like.
I've worked with people thatjust have an antenna.
They just watch the regularlocal channels.
I mean, you know, they havetheir streaming channels for
netflix and all that.
There's people who can't affordit.
Bro, I'm trying to get rid ofmy cable.
Yeah, the only reason why Ihave cable is to watch sports,
that's it yeah, that's it.
Speaker 1 (48:29):
I mean, you're not
going to be able to get rid of
it unless you do what d hustlesays and you don't care about
sports.
You can cut your cable I meanyou can, you can get, you can
get sports through streamingservices you keep saying sports
what?
Speaker 3 (48:39):
if I don't care about
sports there's basic cable.
Speaker 2 (48:42):
I mean you don't need
basic cable to watch.
Speaker 1 (48:45):
You can use it, but
you can still watch some of the
sports through basic cable.
Yes, so you can still catch tntall right, let's just stop.
Speaker 3 (48:51):
Let's just say I
don't want cable period.
You can get an antenna and getyour local channels and you can
watch your dolphins on your lowwherever you live, that's you
can watch your local teams youknow that right, yeah, yeah if
you just care about your localteams, then this works for you.
Speaker 2 (49:05):
You can get an
antenna so this is where I'm
going to have to put you in thisposition.
You don't want cable, but I betyou're paying for internet.
Well, I'm paying for internet, yes, okay, so let's say you
don't want cable, you want toget rid of cable?
Speaker 3 (49:19):
Yeah, you can get an
antenna.
Speaker 2 (49:21):
Okay, but you will
get internet and, at the end of
the day, when you get internet, you're able to stream to
whatever it is that you want.
Like streaming services,streaming services, correct.
Speaker 3 (49:31):
Yeah, you have to buy
those streaming service
packages, you have to pay forthem, correct?
Speaker 1 (49:36):
so you're saying that
if there's no way, there's no
way that you can get awaywithout paying?
Is what?
Speaker 3 (49:41):
you're correct, okay,
I got it.
If you don't care about hold,on hold on there.
Speaker 1 (49:44):
There is no way to
get away without paying.
You can get as low as just anantenna, but just an antenna.
You are still going to have agap that you have to if you want
to get that access.
You're still going to have topay something, right so that
something that you're paying.
You're either going to pay forthe lowest internet, or you're
going to pay for the lowestcable offer that they have or a
tv offer that they have, butyou're still going to have to
(50:06):
pay for you to be able to getthat, or you're going to have to
bootleg off of somebody in yourneighborhood, type stuff we
don't't condone that, but yes,but you don't have cable, bobby,
but I still have to pay youhave to pay for the internet.
Yeah, I still have to paysomething.
Speaker 3 (50:19):
Right, I know we all.
Of course you can't livewithout the internet.
That's impossible not to havethe internet for what we do.
But I'm just saying there arepeople who don't care about
sports who live In the boonies.
They're out there fishing.
That's fucking realistic.
Speaker 2 (50:34):
There's people that
live in the city that don't have
cable.
Speaker 3 (50:37):
They have an antenna.
I bet you they're goingdownstairs watching TV and
somebody else's shit, buthowever they're doing it, I'm
just saying there's people thatdon't want to pay.
Speaker 1 (50:46):
All I know is that
the service providing companies
like Xfinity, at&t, bell South, all those old ones, whatever,
whatever is it's a monopoly, like you're gonna have to go
with them the only thing that'skeeping the cable companies in
business is espn and thoseselect channels that you can't
(51:08):
buy the app for.
Speaker 3 (51:09):
You can't just get
espn yeah like to watch sports.
You have to have it.
You have to get it throughcable, yeah, so the day they do
that, your internet's gonna goup the internet price is gonna
go up.
Yes, yeah the day that espn youcan get it standalone watch,
they're gonna jack up theinternet.
They're gonna jack it up.
Speaker 1 (51:24):
So I I think I think
we're almost there.
Yeah, I really do, because whend was talking about hulu, I can
get a whole sport package.
You can literally almost getthat today.
I think the thing that isholding back is any type of
licensing deals that they havewith the providers that they can
only stream it through cableversus streaming it through
their services.
So I think we're almost there.
(51:45):
We're almost at the point whereinternet access we won't even
hear about cable no more.
The word cable and internet arealmost interchanged together
nowadays, correct, so it's.
It's only going to get worse,it's.
It's it's at that point whereif you don't have internet, then
you don't have anything likethat's going to be the next
thing.
Forget cable, forget the bunnyears.
(52:07):
The internet itself is the newutility.
If you don't have internetaccess, you can't get anything
correct.
Speaker 2 (52:15):
That's crazy but yes,
uh, back to our original uh
situation.
So, people who don't have anycable, this is what you guys use
for yeah, uh, local channels, local channels.
Speaker 1 (52:26):
Right, yeah, right,
and you might catch some sports,
you might catch some sport.
Yes, but it's still not goodenough for raymond still not
good enough.
Speaker 3 (52:31):
Well, it's because
I'm a sports fan.
Yeah, I can't get espn unless Ihave cable.
I get it.
That's the only reason why Ihave cable.
Yeah, I don't watch nothing oncable.
Yeah, I watch youtube all day.
The only thing I use my cablefor is espn, that's it.
I don't watch abc.
I don't watch usa today.
If the day that they figure outhow I can get espn standalone,
(52:55):
I will cut my cable yeah, that'sit.
Speaker 2 (52:58):
Yeah, but yeah, I
hear you.
Speaker 1 (52:59):
I hear you just
saying but don't they have this
thing like even if you sign upwith the espn app, you still got
to log in through your serviceprovider?
Speaker 3 (53:05):
correct.
Yes, that's why they have adeal with the provider, because
you have to get cable.
Now you understand.
Yeah, see that if you're asport, if you don't care about
sports, cut your cable.
Speaker 1 (53:15):
Right now there's
people doing it, so yeah, I mean
it's tv nowadays is like uh,what would what?
Uh?
Uh, kendrick said turn the tvoff, turn the tv off right, but
anyways, uh, we, we belaboredthis point here.
Speaker 3 (53:30):
Yes, uh, but I, I do
have an antenna at the house.
Speaker 1 (53:32):
Yes, uh, it's not no
big old bunny ears I actually
want to get a bigger one, so Ican get further but uh it
definitely serves its purposes,uh, and big shout outs to
samsung tv for giving me uhextra channels, uh, but yeah,
I'm, I also do a sling.
Speaker 3 (53:46):
Y'all heard of sling,
yeah, yeah, it's almost like
they got you hooked because, let's just say you cut your
cable, you're adding all thesestreaming services and it just
kind of gets the price of cableor more.
Yeah, and it's kind of it'sunfair what they're doing now.
They're putting the sports onthe standalone streaming apps,
so now it's forcing you to getthe streaming apps just to watch
the sports I mean, it's themonopoly, I mean think about
(54:07):
netflix.
Speaker 1 (54:08):
The other thing, my
funny thing, big shout out to
sunshiner in Orlando.
She sent me a text message.
She was like, hey, there'ssomething wrong with my Netflix
and I was like, well, send me ascreenshot.
Netflix is literally saying, hey, you're no longer in the
house anymore, you're going tohave to pay your own Netflix.
Speaker 3 (54:24):
That's crazy and.
Speaker 1 (54:25):
I was like what?
Speaker 2 (54:29):
I was like well,
you're going to have to start
paying $15.99 a month foryourself, but but yeah, they're
cracking down on Apple that'scrazy.
Speaker 1 (54:35):
Well, raymond, thank
you so much for that
informational site?
Definitely, if you are lookingfor what channels you want to
look for antennawebcom orantennaweborg, sorry about that
and just put in your zip codeand it'll let you know what
channels that you can get.
Alright player, we're gettingclose to time, so what's up with
the movie?
Speaker 3 (54:55):
I got the final one
here, so it's actually a.
I didn't want to give you guystoo much information.
It's not a movie recommendation, it's um news that d hustle is
going to be very, verydisappointed at I just found
this out already, yeah I'mgetting him riled up.
He's going to be verydisappointed about this.
Speaker 2 (55:12):
This is one of the
greatest movie franchises.
Speaker 3 (55:14):
Well, it's one of my
favorite movie franchises.
And I remember I was excited.
I told D-Hustle a couple monthsago that they're making another
one.
Just found out yesterday thatit has been canceled.
They are not making part 11 toSaw.
So I'm crushed.
I know D-Hustle is very crushedso, yeah, a couple months ago I
was telling them that Saw 11 iscoming out later this year.
(55:37):
I just found out yesterday andfor our listeners, who are
crushed just like me, I don'tknow what happened.
It's like we're in March, we'resold there.
It was going to come out thisyear but for whatever reason,
they have canceled Saw 11.
If you are a big Saw fan likemyself and d hustle is, probably
crushed here.
Speaker 2 (55:55):
So, yeah,
congratulations to that
networking.
Uh, people there, uh, pleasecall me.
We need to figure out whathappened.
Speaker 1 (56:02):
Uh, we need to know
why you guys canceling saw?
Speaker 2 (56:05):
yeah, it just hurts
me so much to know that we're
having no other saw around here.
Um, maybe we should.
Speaker 3 (56:12):
You know, guys want
to speak to other people Like.
Speaker 2 (56:15):
Fast and Furious 15.
Speaker 1 (56:16):
That's coming out,
yeah, yeah, and Jurassic Park,
and maybe start to spread thisnews.
Speaker 3 (56:20):
You know Planets of
the Apes also and shit like that
, you know.
So yeah Was due to come out.
You know, I don't know whathappened, but After two fucking
decades.
Speaker 2 (56:29):
Look at it right
there After two decades, that's
fucking crazy.
Speaker 3 (56:33):
One of the greatest
movie franchises in my opinion,
so yeah, Grossed over a billiondollars worldwide.
It's great that music.
It's just so good.
Speaker 2 (56:41):
You know the only one
that I can see myself being
very depressed about not comingback out.
I don't know about you guys, but this has been more than two
decades.
It's going to be 007, jamesBond.
Speaker 1 (56:55):
Oh, yeah, yeah,
definitely.
They're not coming out withanother one.
No, no, they're going to comeout.
He said he could get anotherone.
Speaker 2 (57:00):
That's the only one
that I think will be, because
those are the ones that bringout one after another and it's
phenomenal.
Speaker 3 (57:06):
So you're okay with
those okay.
Speaker 2 (57:07):
I'm okay with those
being out.
Another one that I'm reallylooking into that's going to.
It looks like it's going tostart being the same process.
It's Mission Impossible.
Speaker 1 (57:16):
Mission Impossible
yeah, yeah.
Speaker 3 (57:19):
I could watch those.
Speaker 1 (57:20):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (57:20):
I think this is the
last one though, but it's all
with the same fucking guys, samefreak.
Listen, man, I'm going to writea missed one.
I guarantee you this is not theend of it, I think they're
going to bring somebody.
Speaker 1 (57:30):
It's going to be a
rebirth Watch.
Speaker 2 (57:32):
No, because if you
really look at it, it's the same
shit as everything else.
Speaker 1 (57:35):
Superman yeah.
Speaker 2 (57:36):
Batman.
It's not George Clooney anymore.
Speaker 1 (57:41):
It's not.
Speaker 2 (57:41):
Christian Bale
anymore.
It's not fucking Ben Affleck,it's always going to be somebody
else, a new director, a new, whatever the case may be, it's
just, I see it, I, I see it.
Speaker 1 (57:50):
I mean the Twitter
handle or X handle said it's
totally dead.
Speaker 2 (57:55):
Shout out to Sos Taza
.
Speaker 3 (57:58):

what happened.
It's 100% over.

Speaker 3 (58:01):
It says 100% over.
Guys, we're so close.
You need to write a letter tothese people and figure out.
Speaker 2 (58:07):

Speaker 1 (58:10):

very first one.
Speaker 2 (58:12):
Yeah, didn't he have
cancer?
The very first one?
Yeah, the first one, right?
Yeah, I don't know why, but healways finds some help with
somebody.
Speaker 3 (58:18):

Speaker 1 (58:33):

that information, Raymond, as
always.
Speaker 2 (58:37):

best fucking shit you said so
far today.
Speaker 1 (58:40):
That's why you knew D
was going to be happy.
Speaker 3 (58:42):
He's supposed to be
crushed.
I'm crushed.
Speaker 2 (58:44):
I am hurt.
After Saw VI, I was done.
Speaker 3 (58:47):
Yeah, oh, that's
funny.
And then it just kept going.
Speaker 1 (58:49):
Then it just kept
going and it just kept going.
Speaker 3 (58:51):
Oh man.

(01:05:29):
Seems like Mr Sanders islooking forward to play with the
Giants.

.
Shout out to the Giants thereyou know losing there.
Uh, shout out to the giantsthere um, you know losing
players.
And looks like the?
Um, how do you call it again we?
As we lose players, the eaglestend to pick up the past.
So it is what it is.
(01:05:58):
Um, d hop, d hop went to goplay for the ravens.
Shout out to them I can't see,I can't wait to see uh lamar or

Also Zay Flowers Also, is itFlowers?
Yeah, they got a good team, zayFlowers.
Can't wait to see what's goingon over there.
Maybe we're getting closer to achip for Boston over there.
I mean I'm sorry for Baltimore,so hopefully everything goes
(01:06:37):
well.
Big payday for Jamal Chase andTee Higgins getting that check.
I don't know if you guys knowexactly what's going on for them
.
Jamal Chase got that fourmillion year 161 million
guaranteed wow.
T higgins got a four year worth115, uh million dollars, so
(01:06:57):
that's what's going on overthere.
Uh, a lot of trades going on.
Minnesota sends a 2026 sixround pick, uh, and a 106 year
for san francisco.
So they pick up jordan mason.
As for another running backgoing on over there, kirk
Cousins are over there at theFalcons trying to figure out if
he can get that $10 millionguaranteed bonus.
To see what's going on, cooperCup signs a nice little deal to

over there, they're handlingtheir business.
They're probably more here, butagain, I'm just doing a flyby
here real quick so you guys canknow exactly what's going on.

.
Last but not least, basketball.
Unfortunately, love and prayersgo to Pop.
That is the end of his fight.
He is not going to be again.
I don't know if I said thisbefore, but it looks like it is
confirmed that he is not goingto be coaching this year and
it's very, very likely he'll doit next year.
(01:08:14):
Comparing, talking about hisfamily saying that he might not
return uh, west, so westbrookhandled business yesterday
against golden state.
So in case you guys not know,no yokich, no Murray and no
Braun Seems like just AaronGordon and Westbrook handling
business against there.
Unfortunately, the high-endseed Draymond Green gave the 9-9
(01:08:38):
thing, like he did to my Knicks.
So shout-out to the AKA Denverfor handling business.
Other than that, 76ers.
Bye-bye Mr Paul George.
End of his career.
I don't know if he's gonna dohis surgery or not, but he's
been on the bench for quite sometime.

(01:09:20):
Four, indiana.
They're Miami, schooled up from11 to number nine.

It is what it is, but theKnicks did beat the Miami Heat
last night.
In case you guys did not seethat game, I did see that.

Speaker 3 (01:09:37):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (01:09:37):
I feel real good
about it right there.
Other than that, going down toWestern Conference, oklahoma
City unstoppable.
Not sure what's going on inthat organization, but they are
freaking balling.
Yeah, not too sure what's goingon, uh who they're speaking to,
but keep up the fucking goodwork over there.
Houston rockets let me give ashout out to them have no idea
(01:09:59):
what's going on in thatorganization.
I don't know how they make it asecond place yeah but that's
something questionable, something we got to talk about
with the lakers.
Maybe they're speaking to thesame people.
Um denver nuggets are numberthree, um, and seems the lakers
dropped down're speaking to thesame people?
Um denver nuggets are numberthree, um, and seems the lakers
drop down all the way to numberfive.
Um over here in the westernconference, um seems like one
player does make a differencehere, doesn't it?
Speaker 3 (01:10:21):
yes, interesting.
Yeah, just make the playoffs.
Speaker 1 (01:10:23):
So once they leave,
it is what it is just make, make
the playoff, just make the cutline.
Speaker 2 (01:10:29):
That's it.
Golden State jump into numbersix.
They went from number 12 allthe way to number six.
Speaker 1 (01:10:35):
They are 14.
Speaker 2 (01:10:37):
Well, I lied, now
they are 14-2 after Jimmy Butler
went over there.

crazy handling the business biground of applause for that 4,003
points.
Speaker 2 (01:10:58):
They made a
comparison between.
I don't know why they made acomparison against my Knicks,
but it's ridiculous.
You guys can't figure out whatto fucking do but to bash my
Knicks.
But listen, you guys need tocome to me.
Speaker 1 (01:11:09):
I definitely want all
