Now these voice agents aren'tgoing to be as rigid as it is.
When you call, let's say, youcall the bank to get your

you know, say your accountnumber out loud, type stuff.

There is going to be somelatency challenges.
I think they're going to notthink they're definitely going
to get better at it, not thinkthey're definitely going to get

better at it, uh, but that's howyou can kind of tell when
you're talking to some of these.
So if you ever get one of thosecold calls and you hear that
little bit of long pause, it'llbe like, oh, this might not
actually be a person, anindividual.

why do I have to pause and wait?

The thing is when I used to docustomer service back in the
days.
I used to call people and Iused to put it on speaker and
then I mute it.

So then when I used to call clients or the agents,
I'd basically go, hey, oh shit,I'm on, and then they'd hang up
on me right away.
Then I'd call back again.
They're like, okay, this is notan AI or a robot.

I'd say I'm sorry I had you onmute, yada, yada yada, but a lot

They tend to call you, putyourself on you and then, until
you speak, they speak yeah andwhen you know when there's a
robot or an ai or whatever thecase may be, they call you.
You don't hear nothing.
You're like hello, hello.
You think you're havinginterference.

That's when they're saying hello, this is yeah, yeah
, that's a trigger word, almostlike right, it's like almost.
If you just think aboutprogramming, you're actually
programming it in there.
Pause and wait until you hear avoice or you hear something,
and then that's when youactually start to kick in gotcha

because I know that you're always worried about
people losing jobs and stufflike that.

The reason why I brought it up is there's a lot
of of my mentees that aredeveloping applications, that
they're really focusing on thatcustomer service side of the
house.
So one of my mentees is like,hey, if you call the doctor's
office, it's like hey, hey,instead of speaking to a person,
you could speak and filter itthrough something like an AI
that can answer some questions.
It is definitely going toeventually get there.

It's not there yet, because alot of people can detect it and
see it and then be like, hey,what's the first thing you do
when you hear robot?
It's like, all right, presszero to go to a real person,

So a lot of people are still doing that.

to get there soon by that time,hopefully you retired or you
