D had a few uh good goodmoments.
Um my nuggets are good.
What is uh I don't know all ofthem, bro?
(01:37):
Every single one of them?
SPEAKER_01 (01:38):
Not every single
one, but you know, okay.
I know we'll talk about that.
I had like the 50 nuggets, youhad like three guys.
SPEAKER_03 (01:46):
Only three.
SPEAKER_00 (01:48):
Only three.
Uh you let us know.
Yeah, definitely let us know inthe comment below.
I might be four.

SPEAKER_00 (02:10):
This is how it is,

Uh Raymond, don't call him RayRay.
As always, I know that you got aregular nine to five.
Um, so you do find some time tohang out with us.
So I appreciate you.
Um and yo, D, I like the socksthis year, man.
What was going on?
Appreciate it.
Yeah, you got the throwbacks,right?
Some good.
SPEAKER_02 (02:25):
Little uh Dunkin'
Donut action.
Dunkin' donut action there.
SPEAKER_00 (02:28):
Um and if y'all
haven't been to our show before,
and this is the first timeyou've seen us, so first off,
thank you so much for pullingup.
Um, this podcast is really justmeant for us to hang out, chill.
We're gonna talk abouttechnology, engineering, and the
culture, and how it allintersects with each other.
Um, we have different segments, one being a tech talk, uh,
current events that D Hustleholds down, Raymond's Nuggets,
uh D Hustle comes back with somesports.
(02:49):
You also even got your sports.
Ah, there you go.
This year he was on the he wasdefinitely on something for
sure, my guy.
Uh, and we have a sportssection, and then we usually
close it out with some umsponsorship and then the outro.
So if you are first time here, that's usually the run of show.
But today we're gonna be jumpinginto talking about uh some of
the highlights we had for 2025.
(03:10):
Um, and cue the music up realquick, D, so we can jump into
the TED Talk.
Uh normally I have a whole uhlecture put in place.
Uh, and I say it like thatbecause I've been getting
feedback on uh my section of thetop podcast is kind of
lecturersy.
Which what would y'all say?
What'd you say, Raymond?
SPEAKER_01 (03:27):
Um typically what
people tell me is they skip your
part.
Not that it's bad or nothing.
They just we just skip his part.
SPEAKER_00 (03:36):
Uh-huh.
That's all right.
I I feel you.
Um and the fact that you'rewatching it doesn't matter.
You can skip mine and go all theway through.
It doesn't matter.
But I'm gonna leave theserecords.
Not, and it's not for you, it'sfor everybody else that's
interested in tech.
Uh, but um I will say this yearI've dedicated this whole
episode or this segment thisyear to uh AI.
From our first episode recordedin January 2025 until now
(03:58):
December 2025.
I've been talking about AI onevery episode.
Um and I do want to encourageyou if you are looking for some
archive andor someone, you know, dropping some gems throughout uh
the year, uh tune in to thefirst part of our podcast.
Don't fast forward through.
You agree, Raymond?
Yeah.
Watch the whole thing.
(04:19):
Or just catch the the read thedescriptions and you'll find out
the topics that uh we covered.
But um some of the things thatactually was top of list for
2025.
I don't I don't know if y'allhave any that that comes to
mind, but uh the one that jumpedout the most in terms of the one
that when I did the you know thelecturing part of this podcast,
um, that everybody really wasintrigued about was when I was
(04:41):
actually showing AI and how itcan be used.
Um more specifically utilizingtools like uh lovable.
Yeah, I remember me talkingabout that, and that's like
where you kind of do vibecoding, um, and then bolt.new
was the other one.
Um, and really just kind ofgiving people uh an idea of how
to use AI and not just talkabout the latest and greatest
(05:02):
new thing.
Um another topic that was reallyhigh on the list was um all the
announcements around open AI.
Um I don't know about y'all, butit feels like for the past year
we've had like 10 to 15 newannouncements coming from open
AI on all new type of productsthat are coming out um from
model releases, basically thelatest versions or some new
(05:23):
features.
Um another topic uh in terms ofwhat uh a lot of people were
really excited about was umGoogle releasing some of their
their final you know um AIproducts.
At the beginning of the year, Idon't know if you all remember,
um, I was personally a littlebit worried about Google because
they were kind of behind.
Um and now at the end of theyear, they're like the number
(05:44):
one AI lab out there.
So yeah.
SPEAKER_02 (05:47):
I don't think Google
ever was behind.
Yeah, you you don't think so?
I know Apple's way behind.
Well Apple definitely was waybehind.
I think Google was probably topthree.
Yeah, yeah.
Uh but I mean, maybe for you, itmaybe was number three.
Yeah, yeah.
And then Apple was like numberfive.
Yeah, for sure.
Ten, fifteen.
SPEAKER_00 (06:07):
And they're still
they're still on that list,
which which uh I I don't knowwhat's going on with Apple.
Like D Hustle's here, and hesaid hire him, he's ready to go.
Like he can give you someinspiration, right?
Um, but overall um I think thatGoogle has definitely come back
at the end of the year and showus why Google's Google.
Um they have a lot of data, theyhave a lot of engineering power,
a lot of computing power.
Um, and I wasn't surprised thatthey you know climb back up the
(06:30):
list, and now they're like mynumber two, and the only reason
why open AI has a lead on themis because I've started with
open AI.
Um but they're definitely,definitely competing.
Um talking about Apple, uh,yeah, there was an episode where
even there was something aboutyou and current events about
Apple.
Um, but in terms of the AIspace, I I don't I don't give
them a whoop woop woom, bro.
(06:51):
I like it for Apple.
Oh, yeah.
Yeah, uh-huh.
Yeah.
Yeah, they uh they've given up.
They've they've literally givenup in that part of the race.
Um and I'm a little disappointeduh because I expected Siri to
kind of be the new interfacethat everybody was using by.
SPEAKER_02 (07:17):
Yeah, so much fan
base, like the guy next to me
over here, yeah, so much uhinfluence uh to not having you
know AI up to par.
If you guys don't know what thatis, it's another type of uh a
(07:42):
brutal beautiful tone.
SPEAKER_00 (07:43):
I encourage you to
go check it out.
Notebook LM.
Uh but uh a sidebar, uh ask askyour boy what what kind of
iPhone he got now.
What kind of iPhone you gotthere, Raymond?
I threw him right under the bus.
SPEAKER_02 (07:57):
Like I really threw
him under the bus.
I'm closing laptop for this one.
SPEAKER_01 (08:05):
Well, um not because
I wanted to.
I had no choice.
I had to get no choice.
I had to get a new phone.
My phone was constantly out ofspace.
I was deleting apps, I couldn'tdo any more deleting apps, you
know you could updates downloadGoogle photos.
Yeah.
Well, I have all my photos onthe cloud.
Yeah.
It just it just got to the pointwhere I couldn't do any more
(08:26):
updates or nothing.
I couldn't put any more apps onthere.
I had no choice.
I went to the store, I was like, what can you guys give me for
this phone?
They were like, sir, just keepthat.
That's so old.
So I ended up getting a 17 Pro.
Ah so two weeks ago I got a 17Pro.
I was doing Christmas shopping,and I was like, I can't deal
with this.
Can you show the fans realquick?
I mean it's at the desk.
(08:47):
I left it at the desk.
So I got a nice 17 Pro.
Um it's nice.
So yeah, I got a new phone.
The orange.
Thank you.
I got the blue.
Okay.
Yeah.
So yeah.
SPEAKER_00 (08:59):
We see out of the
three of us who's balling.
Like who's the ball?
SPEAKER_01 (09:02):
Oh, I got my money's
worth out the 12.
They wouldn't even they wouldn'teven give me anything for it.
They were like, sir, you got toget the money's worth.
SPEAKER_02 (09:07):
Well, just who's
your so who's your provider?
Uh Xfinity.
SPEAKER_00 (09:11):
Uh he has the
Comcast uh uh voice for app for
for cell phone?
SPEAKER_02 (09:16):
Yeah, they do phones
now.
Yeah, they do.
Oh sure.
SPEAKER_00 (09:18):
They give you like a
bundle type thing that you're
trying to get everybody lockedin because ATT has dish and all
that stuff.
So but yeah, I seen Raymond'sphone and I was like, dang, bro,
you got an upgrade?
I was like, oh, I'm I'mdefinitely gonna say something
on the podcast here.
SPEAKER_01 (09:31):
Not because I wanted
to, but thank you.
SPEAKER_00 (09:33):
Yeah.
SPEAKER_01 (09:34):
But you guys knew I
needed a new phone.
SPEAKER_00 (09:35):
Yeah, it was
definitely uh as bad as me.
But I mean I mean you're nextup.
You were actually up first, butwhat kind of phone do you have
now?
SPEAKER_02 (09:43):
I have a 12 Pro.
You got a 12 Pro?
SPEAKER_01 (09:45):
Okay, yeah, you're
next up.
SPEAKER_02 (09:46):
Uh my thing doesn't
even charge.
Oh wow.
I have to lay it down in orderfor it to charge.
SPEAKER_01 (09:50):
My speakers went
out.
I had to put it on speakerphoneevery time I had to talk to
someone.
Yeah, the speaker went out, thebattery was shot.
SPEAKER_02 (09:57):
But you should be
doing that speaking.
That's the new wave everybody'sdoing talking like, yo, yo,
yeah.
SPEAKER_01 (10:01):
On speakerphone.
Uh I don't want to do that.
Not in a shopping center orsomething like that.
No.
SPEAKER_00 (10:06):
But but did you get
any new AI features on the new
phone?
SPEAKER_01 (10:08):
It's got AI stuff on
there where it could, it kind of
like it could just auto-send amessage and stuff like that.
It's okay.
Yeah.
Yeah, I'm not too impressed.
It's cool.
But that wasn't a reason why yougot it.
No, it's not.
You mean auto-send a message?
Like it kind of detects if Bobbysends me a message or have like
a response that it can send andstuff like that.
SPEAKER_00 (10:25):
Oh, like it
automatically generates a
response.
Yeah.
Oh, okay.
SPEAKER_01 (10:28):
So, I mean, it's
cool.
I haven't really played with itthat much.
But yeah, I got a 17 Pro.
Yeah.
Um, it's cool.
SPEAKER_00 (10:33):
But but not for AI
purposes.
SPEAKER_01 (10:35):
Because I needed a
new phone.
Yeah.
Yeah.
SPEAKER_00 (10:37):
And and that's the
part of the why I'm bringing it
up, because you know, first off,uh big shout outs to you for
finally upgrading all thistalking that y'all been doing
about.
Good luck with that.
Because now they're gonna makesome other reason why you have
to upgrade it.
Uh but if you think about uh theproduct that they're releasing
in terms of a phone and theydon't really have AI anything
with it, which is really, reallysad.
(10:59):
Yeah.
Um I'm hoping 2026 is a betteryear for them.
SPEAKER_01 (11:03):
You've seen they're
teaming up with Gemini.
SPEAKER_00 (11:05):
Yeah, I heard that
too.
Yeah.
Yeah.
SPEAKER_01 (11:07):
They gave it up.
They're like, we're done.
We're teaming up with Google.
SPEAKER_00 (11:10):
Yeah.
Which I mean Which is cool.
SPEAKER_01 (11:12):
Hey, it's we are not
good at it.
We're gonna team up with someonethat is.
SPEAKER_00 (11:16):
But that that's the
same thing that they're doing
with uh the browser.
Like uh Google pays them like abillion dollars a year to make
sure that Chrome is included intheir offering, right?
So now it's gonna be like andnow they're reversing it, right?
Apple's gonna pay them twobillion dollars a year just to
have access to Gemini through uhSiri.
So I I don't know the exactnumber, but I'm just using as a
(11:37):
an example.
Yeah, but um yeah, Apple, givethem another one point one.
I can't believe it.
I can't as much money as theyhave.
SPEAKER_02 (11:44):
Shout out to Raymond
for a new phone.
Thank you.
SPEAKER_00 (11:48):
For sure, for sure.
And then the last thing I'llmention in terms of just um AI
for for 2025 is it's definitelybeen a year where um I I I am
doubling down on myencouragement for everyone to
really get familiarized withthese tools.
Every episode that we had, um,after listening to it over, um
(12:08):
foundationally, I'm reallyhopefully inspiring you to you
know uh leverage these toolsbecause uh a lot of them are
free.
Um they're eventually gonnastart to be paid for, um, but
it's gonna be not AI that takespeople's jobs, it's gonna be the
people that knows how to use AIthat's gonna keep and pay and
take other people's jobs.
So um if any words ofencouragement for 2025 is um I
(12:30):
left an archive for y'all to gocheck it out.
So if if if y'all say, hey, Inever heard anybody talk about
AI, then I know y'all notwatching my show.
So um tune in.
Um next year we're gonna haveanother capstone project or
capstone topic.
Um, it might not be AI, Ihaven't decided what it is.
Uh, but yo, I I really doappreciate everybody holding it
down for me, you know, talkingAI consistently throughout the
(12:51):
whole year.
So uh big shout-outs to you.
Um, and definitely appreciatey'all um entertaining my
conversation and uh being uh uhrespectful when I'm giving a
lecture.
Because I know that it canreally get to y'all sometime
too.
So it is what it is.
Thank you.
Thank you so much.
Yeah, that's what it's meant tobe informative.
(13:12):
And I'm leaving an archive, it'snot for y'all, it's for my kids'
kids so they can rewind it.
SPEAKER_01 (13:16):
And some people do
like it too.
Yeah.
Yeah, there are some you know, haters that skip the segment.
SPEAKER_00 (13:20):
I mean, I don't call
it hate it's just in it, it's
not their their stuff, right?
Yeah, but go ahead and tell meabout the people that that
actually listen.
SPEAKER_01 (13:26):
No, there are people
that actually listen to it.
They're like, Yeah, I like yoursegment, I like Bobby's segment,
I like the sports.
So there are some people thatlisten to the whole pod, and
there are some people who justlike certain segments.
Yeah, you got a fan club, Iknow.
Yeah, he also has a fan club, you got a fan club?
I got no fan club.
Yeah, you do, D.
SPEAKER_00 (13:43):
You do have a fan
club, bro.
You just he's just being shyabout it.
He ain't trying to stand on it.
Well, but anyways, uh, thanky'all again uh for for a year
worth of uh supporting me onthis AI journey.
Um, we still got a lot of thingsgoing on, so it's not like we're
done talking about it.
Um and yeah, uh rewind the tapesif you need something.
So uh cue that music up.
Let me hear let me hear thatjoint right there.
(14:03):
This one again?
Yeah, yeah, that's that's theone I like, right?
I already said I already didthis one already.
I just want to hear it again, bro.
Yeah, oh another thing, bring itdown a little bit.
A lot of people don't know thatuh we do a lot of this audio
production live.
So I heard somebody say, uh,especially here in 2025, is
like, how do y'all mix the musicin and the laughter and all of
(14:24):
the sounds all at one time?
Uh if you didn't know, my guy DHustle is doing production live.
So whenever you hear the ad libsin the background, give yourself
a round of applause.
Uh that's D Hustle doing all ofthat uh and holding holding the
sound and holding the vibetogether.
Um, and people really do enjoyhow we're able to really mix it
up a little bit because yeah, itis tech heavy, especially when I
(14:44):
get on the mic.
Um, but definitely uh it'ssomething inspiring that we're
able to keep that vibe.
So big shout-outs to you, myguy.
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
Good job.
SPEAKER_01 (14:52):
Shout out to D
Hustle.
SPEAKER_02 (14:54):
Yeah.
I did that for Raymond becausehe he he he wants to hit the
button, but he can't control it.
SPEAKER_00 (15:04):
So oh man, but that
tells us he's tuned in, bro.
He's tuned in his skills andtalent, um, and I appreciate
you.
All right, so next section thatwe're gonna talk about is uh
tech current events and some ofthe best of 2025.
Um and I'm gonna pass the micover to D Hustle, but Grayman
and I.
Did you finish your second?
Yeah, yeah, I'm already at themark, man.
15 minutes mark, bro.
Uh he's he's like, you're notdone talking.
(15:26):
Uh so D, what do you think of2025, man?
SPEAKER_02 (15:28):
The best of 2025,
man.
Man, 2025.
First thing I think 2025 had tobe was wow.
Start off with Apple.
Yeah.
I think the best thing for me isApple, after all these years, a
lot of upgrades.
Yeah.
A lot of software upgrades, alot of more upgrades, more
(15:51):
upgrades, yeah, more upgrades.
Still the same phone, stillnothing changes.
But again, we still buy thisshit.
Yeah.
That's the confusion part of howwe're trying to figure out
what's going on.
He still buys it.
Yeah, yeah.
Hoping we're giving you thebenefit of the doubt that we are
going to upgrade for some oddreason.
(16:11):
You guys are gonna get that flipphone, supposedly, yeah, yeah.
Uh coming out, the works, supposed to be getting glasses.
That's one of the big thingsthat uh want to give the womp,
womp, womp, womp too.
SPEAKER_00 (16:24):
A little
disappointing, right?
SPEAKER_02 (16:26):
Uh, another
disappointing thing, AOL went
down.
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
Uh AOM went down again.
Uh, after 30 years, AOL is nomore internet uh service.
Yeah, uh that um yeah, good olddays, right?
Good old days.
Um big, big, big, big round ofapplause to uh Amazon for their
(16:48):
Zoo X taxi aka givingcompetition to uh wait is it
Waymo?
Waymo Jaguar.
SPEAKER_00 (16:57):
Yeah, yeah.
SPEAKER_02 (16:58):
Um the Waymo,
actually low-key.
SPEAKER_00 (17:02):
Waymo is actually in
Atlanta now.
Oh, really?
Um so I've seen people you knowposting more about it.
Um I think it's actuallysupposed to be coming down to
Miami.
Uh oh that's gonna be wow, it'sgonna be a lot of accidents.
For sure.
And I also heard that they'regonna be doing some trials in
New York City too, but uh theyhave some uh regulations.
It's gotta be in the city.
SPEAKER_02 (17:21):
Yeah, it's gotta be
in the city because that's the
only way there's gonna be a lotof angry people.
Yeah, especially in a compactcity like that.
SPEAKER_00 (17:30):
Yeah, yeah.
Yeah.
But in terms of 2025, it's oneof our best uh reports uh
definitely about Amazon comingin into the game and you know
give him some competition.
So I can't wait.
SPEAKER_01 (17:40):
Yeah, yeah.
SPEAKER_00 (17:40):
You you still you
still not down with it, Raymond?
SPEAKER_01 (17:42):
Oh, I'm I'm down
with it.
I just haven't tried it out yet.
Okay.
The closest one is where?
Now we have one in Atlanta now,you say?
SPEAKER_00 (17:47):
Yeah, yeah, Atlanta,
definitely.
Okay.
Yeah.
He's not going to Atlanta.
No, he don't go nowhere.
Yeah, definitely.
Best of 2025 trip for Raymond.
Where was that?
Where was that, Raymond?
Well, I did go to two placesthis year.
Publix.
Uh what else?
I do love Publix.
Where'd you go?
Where'd you go?
SPEAKER_01 (18:06):
What was the House
7, the candy stuff?
You know?
That's true.
Um, let me see.
I went to Washington, D.C.
earlier this year.
SPEAKER_00 (18:14):
Uh yeah, you did go
to South Carolina.
SPEAKER_01 (18:16):
He was dragged,
ladies and gentlemen.
Yeah, he was.
His lady friend.
And I went to uh South Carolina.
SPEAKER_00 (18:22):
Ah, that was also
being dragged too.
SPEAKER_01 (18:25):
Who you went to
South Carolina with?
Uh with my girl.
SPEAKER_00 (18:28):
Yeah.
SPEAKER_01 (18:28):
When the fuck was
this?
A couple months ago, maybe.
He'd be doing stuff low-key.
It was here.
I went.
SPEAKER_00 (18:35):
Was it over a
weekend or it was like over
three days, three or four days.
SPEAKER_01 (18:38):
Like a Thursday,
came back on a Sunday.
SPEAKER_00 (18:40):
I think the only
reason I saw it is because uh
somebody else posted a story andthen he reposted.
But I didn't even know you wasout of town, player.
I didn't know either.
He likes to keep stuff low-key.
Yeah, you know.
Incognito over here.
SPEAKER_01 (18:55):
Well, he is always
incognito, but yeah, you know,
I'm not, I don't really know howto post and all that stuff.
Yeah, South Carolina.
What the fuck is over there?
There's an island where all therich people go to the vacation.
We went there.
Yeah.
I forgot the name of the island.
So the rich people go.
So it wasn't interesting foryou.
No, it was cool.
SPEAKER_02 (19:12):
It was name of the
Edistow Island.
Edistow Island.
Well, you're rich people EdistowIsland, just look it up.
Yeah.
Go ahead and let me know.
Let us know.
And we didn't get invited, so wedidn't even get even a peek.
We didn't even it's cool.
But at least he did two tripsthis year.
Good for you, man.
Good for you.
Wow.
Maybe next year you get three.
SPEAKER_01 (19:33):
Maybe.
That's the most I've ever done.
Yeah.
That's good.
SPEAKER_00 (19:36):
One other thing that
jumped out in uh tech current
events, uh and that that Idefinitely want to give you a
shout out on is uh someelectronics and tech stuff that
we really covered.
Um, especially when China wascoming over with those new
phones.
SPEAKER_02 (19:48):
Remember those
fucking twenty hundred dollar
phones, eighteen hundred phones.
SPEAKER_03 (19:53):
Yeah.
SPEAKER_02 (19:54):
Shout out to China,
man.
Shout out to China.
Just just doing the thing, man.
Yeah.
Uh God bless you guys overthere.
If you guys need some help, please come to the United
States.
We need all the help we can getright about now.
SPEAKER_01 (20:07):
When are you getting
yours?
What?
The phone, the$2,800 one.
SPEAKER_02 (20:10):
Uh when it goes on
sale.
So that's it.
And then I'm the if that's onceI do that, I'm switching to the
dark side.
Yeah.
No more iPhone, no more blue.
It's gonna be green.
SPEAKER_00 (20:22):
Going back to green?
SPEAKER_02 (20:22):
Going back to green.
But I'll be in advance.
Uh, you know, I'll be gonnabreak up the group chat.
I'm gonna have to.
Text me individually.
I don't need no group text.
SPEAKER_00 (20:33):
Exactly.
Actually, D's energy changes assoon as he goes back to green.
He he's the one that'd be like,y'all better join me.
Join me.
SPEAKER_02 (20:40):
That's what's up.
Other than that, man, I thinkthe the last thing or that I can
think of is the AI's innovation.
Yeah.
As far as um like thehumanoidslash people using it as
like a butler, as um Kawasakiusing it as a as a bike.
(21:02):
Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.
SPEAKER_00 (21:03):
The four-wheeler
one, yeah.
SPEAKER_02 (21:04):
Uh bike.
Um that's the only thing I thinkof at the top of my head.
SPEAKER_00 (21:08):
Yeah.
But it was a good 2025, man.
I I feel like um tech currentevents, I've always felt like I
was up to date what's going on.
Um definitely uh D has uh somesome good insights into
technology, and especially forthe culture itself.
It's like uh some some somesituations you'll hear people
talking about stuff that you'llnever use, and I think uh
especially on our show, um uhthere's definitely a a great uh
(21:30):
alignment of what we potentiallywould use or buy uh versus what
what's being released.
But um it's been a very activeyear with electronics uh and new
releases of different things.
So uh big shout-outs to all thethe new techies uh uh or the
tech devices, um tech projectsand things that are happening.
But yeah, I can't I I think nextyear, uh 2025, uh we're gonna be
(21:52):
reporting a lot more on roboticstype stuff.
SPEAKER_01 (21:54):
Um I think so too.
SPEAKER_00 (21:55):
Yeah, I like the one
that D just brought up is the
one that had like the four legsand it was like a motorized uh
RT or ATV, but it was actuallyhad legs and it could run type
stuff.
Right.
Um that that's that's the flyingcar, the flying car.
SPEAKER_02 (22:08):
Now that I just see
the flying car over here, oh,
and the Raspberry Pi that I'mnever gonna get, ladies and
gentlemen.
Uh so now that I'm looking here,I'm going down memory lane here.
SPEAKER_00 (22:18):
Uh the holidays
haven't even gotten here yet,
bro.
Oh, okay.
We're waiting for holidays.
Wait until the next uh beginningof the year episode, then we can
talk more about it.
But uh, okay.
But yeah, big big shout outs toyou, D Hustle, holding it down
for tech current events.
Um, as always, appreciate youand keep keeping our artists up
on the new technology.
Um and now we got uh my guy uhRaymond Don't Call Hray Ray.
(22:40):
Give him a little bit of hissound.
Let's see.
SPEAKER_03 (22:41):
Oh yeah, there we
go.
SPEAKER_00 (22:43):
Raymond Don't Call
Him Ray Ray.
Um so Raymond, uh, if if you'renot familiar with the segment of
the podcast, this is Raymond'sNuggets, and he's gonna be
dropping gems about anythingthat he's familiarized with,
such as websites.
Yeah, you know, China.
(23:04):
Uh so Raymond, uh Raymond'sNuggets.
How do you feel like uh 2025been, bro?
SPEAKER_01 (23:08):
It was good.
I think I dropped uh 99.
All right, maybe I don't want tosound cocky.
All right, maybe 90% gems.
SPEAKER_00 (23:17):
90%?
SPEAKER_01 (23:18):
You were shooting 90
90% with my nuggets.
If you combine the nuggets andthe shows and the movies I
recommend, uh-huh, I think thatbrings it up to 90%.
Because it just you just can't,you know, limit it to the
nuggets as in websites andstuff.
Because I gave you guys a lot ofgems on good shows such as
Severance, which you know, won,you know, my guy on there,
(23:41):
Tremet won, best supportingactor, the first black guy to
ever win a you know, an Emmy forbest supporting actor.
So yeah, gems like that, yeah, you know, so but yeah, you know,
uh, what else?
Gosh.
Yeah, that's one of my favorite.
Yeah, one of the best shows onthere.
So um, but yeah.
SPEAKER_00 (24:01):
I'll let's say 90%.
SPEAKER_02 (24:03):
When he starts off
with Severance, I mean that's
like the worst.
That's the worst.
I mean, he started off theElies.
You haven't heard of first hestarted off with with uh what
was it, Shogun?
Shogun, that's 2024 for sure.
Yes, um, and then look whathappened with that Shogun.
Nobody watched that.
Uh it won a lot of awards.
(24:25):
It did.
Great show.
But yeah, whatever.
SPEAKER_01 (24:29):
I'm surprised you
didn't you gave up on Shogun
because you're a big Game ofThrones guy, and it's just like
the Japanese version of it, Ithink.
SPEAKER_00 (24:38):
I don't know.
You get you you Game of Thrones,that that's that's a that's a
pill, bro.
You can't you can't just bigpill swallow there.
SPEAKER_02 (24:46):
Yeah, you know, I'm
closing this down because that'd
be ridiculous, right?
But no, okay.
I I can't believe you just saidthat.
SPEAKER_00 (24:52):
But we have to, I
mean, we maybe have to wait for
season two.
SPEAKER_02 (24:55):
Severance was the
was the worst for me.
Yeah, I can't believe I benchwatched that shit.
Yeah, I I had no other choice.
Yeah, I had to watch it.
I was already invested.
Yeah.
Okay.
Uh, with that garbage.
Not a fan.
No, I'm not a fan, bro.
I I just can't believe you likethat crap.
I it's a great show.
Like, it is it's only whitepeople who watch that.
(25:18):
Well, and they put the black guyin there for a mixture.
Did you realize that he waslike, But the black guy's the
one that won the award, right?
Yes, you want to be a good one.
Because he's the only black guyin there.
SPEAKER_01 (25:28):
Oh my god.
What about the um the other guy?
SPEAKER_02 (25:31):
What guy?
Uh the guy with the with theband?
SPEAKER_01 (25:35):
No, not the guy with
the band.
The guy that's in the office, the worker with the glasses.
Uh the heavyset guy?
Yes.
He's white.
He's black.
No, he's not black.
I mean, he's not white.
SPEAKER_00 (25:43):
He's not white.
He's not white.
He might as well be white.
SPEAKER_01 (25:45):
Nah, he's not white.
He's black.
SPEAKER_02 (25:47):
Is he black?
He's black.
Yeah, he's black, but he's he'sjust like a Raymond.
He's just white.
SPEAKER_00 (25:52):
Leave my guy alone,
Raymond.
Raymond's not white, bro.
Raymond's not white.
SPEAKER_02 (25:56):
But the but uh the
manager, uh, what was his name
again?
Uh the guy who did Blade, thecommentator.
Damn, I forgot I forgot hisname.
SPEAKER_00 (26:04):
The manager.
SPEAKER_02 (26:05):
Yeah, the guy in
Severance, the black guy.
Yeah.
I can't think of his name.
Yeah, I don't remember his name.
Great actor.
Shout out to him.
Great actor.
SPEAKER_00 (26:13):
There's a lot of
good things.
Yeah.
SPEAKER_01 (26:16):
And he's a young
guy, too, isn't he?
Oh, he's RH?
RH, probably a little bit older.
Yeah, he's been in the game fora minute.
SPEAKER_00 (26:22):
Okay, yeah.
SPEAKER_01 (26:22):
He's blowing up now
because of Severance.
SPEAKER_00 (26:24):
Oh, here Raymond's
standing on it again.
SPEAKER_01 (26:26):
Just saying.
SPEAKER_00 (26:27):
So what else was on
your list for 2025?
SPEAKER_01 (26:31):
Yeah, D Hustle's
favorite here.
We talked about this a coupleweeks ago.
Um, stool analyzer.
You guys remember that?
That is one of my favoritesbecause you know, you know,
checking your stool is veryimportant, guys.
You know, you want to stay ontop of your health.
Now, now that we're gettingolder wealth, exactly.
So, stoolanalyzer.com, uh itwill analyze your stool and tell
(26:52):
you if you are healthy.
So, yeah, that's one of myfavorite gems that I think I
dropped there.
I got some comments on that.
I know D Hustle was appreciativeof that one.
No, he wasn't.
So that was one of my gems.
And one of my other favorites isone of the guys at uh my
Toastmasters Club, they lovedthis.
They saw the clip on Instagramwas themissingmoney.com.
Oh, if you guys out there gotsome missing money.
(27:14):
I know D Hustle does not leavemoney on the table.
No, not at all.
He doesn't have any missingmoney.
So that was one of the gems outthere people commented on hey, I
like that, the money website.
So that was cool.
And yeah, those are some of mygems.
And then another one, too.
I think D Hustle did approve onthis one.
I did, I believe so, was therunp.com.
(27:36):
Remember that one?
Which one that one?
Runp.com.
It tells you exactly on where togo in a movie that you can go
use the bathroom.
Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.
You won't miss that much.
So runp.com.
Yeah, remember that.
SPEAKER_02 (27:51):
So yeah, if you go
to the Yeah, I like that one,
but I didn't like it that much.
Come like you didn't like itthat quick.
If you're gonna go to a movie, make sure you use the bathroom
before, right?
Okay, yeah, it's very simple.
You know, you get snacks and allthat.
I'm not gonna use my phone andshit, but I hold on, man.
I can use the bathroom.
Let me see when it was a greattime to pause this real quick.
Oh man.
SPEAKER_01 (28:10):
So those are all my
gems.
SPEAKER_00 (28:12):
So yeah, yeah, those
are all my gems.
Uh I'll tell you about one thatthat that I like was um uh the
password one um in terms of likethe how lengthy or long your
password is.
Yeah, but I also like the moneyone too, so you can go find
missing money.
SPEAKER_01 (28:27):
Yeah, I've got some
money out there.
SPEAKER_00 (28:28):
Yeah, you better go
collect.
That's crazy to me.
I don't know how you guys havemissing money, bro.
Well, it's not missing.
It's just Oh, it's missingbecause he hold that in his
pocket.
It's unclaimed.
It's unclaimed.
Yeah, you gotta go claim it.
Dama said this is lost.
If it's lost, if it's in lostand found, then that's what I
mean it's missing, bro.
That's funny.
Yeah, yeah.
But uh definitely some really, really cool topics, um, really
informative.
(28:49):
Uh I would say that uh when Ilook at the data, because data
don't lie, um, current eventsand um Raymond's Nuggets are the
two that perform the best on ourchannel.
Um and definitely uh Why?
They like informed.
They like, you know, I give themgood stuff for me.
I mean the uh the the the orderis is You let us know below.
SPEAKER_02 (29:08):
Let us know below.
SPEAKER_00 (29:09):
Current events,
Raymond's Nuggets, sports, and
then me, the tech tech one, isat the bottom.
But um definitely uh they enjoyuh the insights that we give
because we're giving them accessto certain websites um that we
you know um have used on theinternet before.
Um they also like some of youranonymous type stuff out there
because you definitely are onthe uh more secretive side of
(29:31):
the internet.
SPEAKER_01 (29:32):
It's important to
you know not leave a history on
the internet.
So you don't want um, yeah, okay.
Yeah, yeah.
Those are some good ones thatare left on there, you know,
like making a fake person, yeah, email addresses, some good ones.
SPEAKER_00 (29:44):
So actually, I read
one of the comments that
somebody asked, like, why do youneed all those emails?
That that in in and I repliedback, like, uh Raymond does what
he does.
SPEAKER_01 (29:54):
Yeah, doing
research.
You know, you don't want to getspam, you know.
You know, you don't want to getspammed.
You know how you get those no, Idon't come on.
We don't know.
Come on, man.
SPEAKER_00 (30:05):
We are hoping you
let us know.
They're trying to figure out whyis Raymond so anonymous on the
internet like that.
But uh, I don't know.
SPEAKER_02 (30:12):
I I feel like he has
a a secret past that we don't
know about.
SPEAKER_00 (30:16):
Yeah, yeah, that he
just wipes away with one email
and it just goes away.
SPEAKER_02 (30:19):
We don't even know
if his real name Raymond.
SPEAKER_00 (30:21):
Facts, right?
I I don't think I've seen abirth certificate.
Yeah, Raymond.
Yeah.
Oh, we have to double checkthat.
Yeah.
Um, and definitely on the movieside of the house, um um I don't
know if it's 90%.
On the movies?
Yeah.
SPEAKER_01 (30:36):
Come on.
Um what movie did I've given youguys that was bad?
Uh severans.
Those are shows.
Yeah.
Okay, those are shows.
Jurassic Park.
Yeah, Jurassic Park was on thelist.
SPEAKER_00 (30:46):
Did you guys watch
Jurassic Park?
I did watch Jurassic Park.
Was it bad?
I thought it I I I didn't likeit.
I didn't like it.
Well, was it bad?
It was not terrible, but it wasthere you go.
It's it's it wasn't something tomove.
You can't give them a littlebit.
SPEAKER_01 (31:02):
All right.
I'm not gonna be able to dothat.
I didn't say it was like thebest movie.
SPEAKER_02 (31:05):
If this gives it one
in ten and you give them a one
in still good, it got one pointon the board, one point on the
board.
SPEAKER_01 (31:12):
Making another one,
so I guess it was terrible.
Oh my gosh, I can't.
I guess it was so bad thatthey're making another one.
Yeah.
SPEAKER_02 (31:16):
And then uh the best
thing was that there's no more
saw.
Yeah, uh that disappointed theheck out of me.
SPEAKER_01 (31:22):
Shout out to that.
No, no more saw.
That really, like, you know, Ihope somebody buys a franchise
and restarts it.
That pissed me off.
SPEAKER_02 (31:30):
So now um I do know
the biggest thing out there that
you should have said is uh howuh Netflix uh bought out Warner
Brothers.
SPEAKER_01 (31:39):
Oh, yeah, they're
gonna have to purchase that.
I was discussing, I was gonnabring that up, but that is
actually uh on pause right now.
Oh, is it?
Because you know, Paramount isfighting they want to buy it as
well.
Well, they give you trying togive more money.
So now Trump is gonna decidewho's gonna get this now.
Why does he have to make adecision?
SPEAKER_02 (31:56):
How does he decide
it?
Is he part of the um Netflixrevenue?
SPEAKER_01 (32:00):
Uh he's got stocks
in there.
I mean, he does not, but uh oneof the companies is buddy buddy
with Trump.
SPEAKER_00 (32:07):
So he's trying to
get his the administration will
get involved, not that he willmake a decision on his own.
SPEAKER_01 (32:12):
He said he's gonna
personally be involved.
Because he said Netflix will be.
He said Netflix will have toomuch power if they it ain't
because of that.
SPEAKER_02 (32:20):
You you know why.
It's all about the billions.
Yeah, yeah, it's definitely whothe fuck is gonna buy something
for 11 or what was it, asomething eleven point something
billion?
That's a lot of money for WarnerBrothers.
SPEAKER_01 (32:34):
Yeah, and some of
the fans too are upset because
they're afraid that Netflix isgonna kill the movie theaters.
Because you know, WarnerBrothers has like all the DC
stuff and you know, because so alot of people are like because
they won't release them in movietheaters, they'll just release
it on their platform.
Yes, and I was one of thosefolks, because you know I love
going to the movies, so yeah, but Netflix came out and said,
no, no, no, we're still gonnayou know s release them in the
(32:56):
movies, but can you can youimagine Netflix owning Warner
Brothers?
SPEAKER_02 (33:00):
I just wanted to ask
do you uh invest in stocks in in
the movie theater?
SPEAKER_01 (33:04):
Uh I do not.
I just You should, man.
Are you like a VIP member?
Um I'm not a VIP member.
I just still like going to themovies.
I think you can't beat thatexperience.
SPEAKER_02 (33:17):
Do you have the app
that because they give you free
vouchers and free movies?
SPEAKER_01 (33:20):
Oh, I do have like
the Regal app and all that stuff
like that where I get points andstuff like that.
Yeah.
So I used to have like the moviepass back in the days.
SPEAKER_00 (33:27):
Oh, you used to do
that?
SPEAKER_01 (33:27):
Yeah, I used to do
that, yeah.
SPEAKER_00 (33:29):
My my movie pass was
I pay for one movie and I just
hang out all day.
You can't do that now.
That was back in the.
No?
They have a signed seating now.
Oh man, I I used to go to themovies watching like early, and
then I'm there all day watchinglike three, four movies.
Because of you, they did assignseating.
Ah, okay.
Now it makes sense.
Now it makes sense.
SPEAKER_02 (33:47):
Well, when the when
you sit down and you the person
comes, you just gotta get up andgo to another seat.
This is like going to abaseball.
I've seen it before.
I've done it.
SPEAKER_01 (33:54):
That happened a few
weeks ago.
There was a hey, to put it outthere, it's our people, there
was a young black guy in there.
He got up seven times.
They just kept making him get uplike this is my seat, and he
just kept getting up and goingto the next one.
SPEAKER_00 (34:07):
Until he found a
spot where nobody pulled up.
It's crazy, but yeah.
Right.
There's no shame.
There's no shame, bro.
There's no shame.
But I miss I miss those good olddays.
Shoot, talking about good olddays.
Uh you remember MovieCo downtownuh West Palm and Comatis?
Yeah.
They broke that thing down now.
They're about to build some umum high-rises on their
apartments and stuff like that.
SPEAKER_03 (34:28):
Yep.
SPEAKER_00 (34:28):
Um, the movie
business, like you said, is is
has shifted because of platformslike Netflix and the mall.
Yes.
Um, but I I do enjoy going to amovie and that whole experience.
SPEAKER_01 (34:37):
Yeah, probably
nobody goes to the movies more
than me.
Yeah.
SPEAKER_00 (34:40):
Yeah, I'm not
spending that much money on Amy.
SPEAKER_01 (34:42):
I mean, yeah.
So I I like going.
So one more thing.
SPEAKER_00 (34:46):
Well, then your your
top movie for 2025, what would
you say it is?
SPEAKER_01 (34:49):
My top movie for
2025?
Soul 21.
That's funny.
You know what?
Surprisingly, I just saw this afew weeks ago.
Um, I'd say Predator Badlands.
Dang, you still shouting that,huh?
Yeah, Predator Badlands.
Like, I want you to find someoneto tell me that's a bad movie.
Yeah.
(35:09):
I I don't have to look that far.
I really don't.
Have you seen it, D Hustle?
SPEAKER_02 (35:13):
I have not.
Okay.
SPEAKER_01 (35:14):
So really, it's a
really disappointing.
Oh, okay.
It was good.
That's probably it wassurprisingly good.
Yeah.
So that would be my top movie oftop 25.
It was surprisingly good becauseI was like gonna kick this to
the curb.
SPEAKER_00 (35:25):
So now you audience,
yeah, I have to go comment below
or even call out his top 25 ofthe year.
So show wise is Severance.
Yes.
Uh movie wise is PredatorBadlands.
Predator Badlands.
SPEAKER_02 (35:36):
Shit.
I thought the number one showfor him was gonna be uh um The
Penguin because he was talkingso highly about it.
Was another one that was upthere, too.
You know, but he's forgettinggood shows.
He's worrying about a boringshow that's an hour that's taken
on.
SPEAKER_00 (35:50):
That was a good
show.
SPEAKER_02 (35:51):
Penguin was very
good.
I'm not gonna fret.
SPEAKER_01 (35:53):
Come on.
SPEAKER_00 (35:54):
What's the actor
that was uh Colin Farrell.
Colin Farrell didn't know.
Penguin's very good.
SPEAKER_01 (35:58):
Yeah, yeah.
SPEAKER_02 (35:58):
No, but he's still
stuck on severance.
SPEAKER_01 (36:00):
I just feel like
it's uh it's kind of niche
because it's comic book uh wherea lot of people are not into
that stuff.
But who's into office politicstype stuff?
Severance, like it goes intomore of a variety of people who
will like it.
Nah.
That's why I didn't mentionPenguin, because you know, it's
more niche, like if you're anerd or if you're into the comic
books.
Great show.
SPEAKER_00 (36:20):
I mean it was
fantastic.
I actually brought up some good, good, like I'm I'm like
mindset-wise recalibrating what2025 looked like because of that
show, because that was amazing.
That was an amazing show.
Colin Farrell did his job onthat one.
Like, I uh and that's the partthat was really good was his his
acting for sure.
Yeah.
Um and the show itself, uh, Ithought it all came together.
Yeah.
Are they coming up with anotherseason of that?
(36:40):
I don't know.
They're debating on it.
So what what was it at?
On HBO?
Yeah, on HBO.
Uh the Warner Brothers HBO'sincluded in that Warner Brothers
deal, isn't it?
Yes.
That's crazy.
SPEAKER_01 (36:51):
So Netflix could own
HBO also.
And that's what a lot of peopleare upset about.
They're like, all that greatcontent that HBO has made, you
know, the Sopranos, you know, like the penguin.
Yeah.
They're just gonna take it, putit under Netflix.
Is Netflix gonna make good stufflike that?
Yeah.
Are are they gonna make goodstuff like that?
Yes, they're gonna be like, Imean, you know.
SPEAKER_00 (37:11):
But think about what
they're also gonna do is pull it
off of all the other platformstoo.
They are just like Disney did, right?
SPEAKER_01 (37:16):
And then again,
they're gonna charge more for
Netflix.
Yeah, yeah.
That that I mean put it upagain.
That's the new cable bill now.
And here's something, there's aquote that Netflix always said
they said they we want to be HBObefore HBO becomes us.
HBO, they make good stuff.
Yeah, you know what I mean?
So yeah.
SPEAKER_00 (37:36):
That's crazy.
That's crazy.
I I can't believe a a uh a DVDmailing service um end up buying
uh uh a whole studio uh WarnerBrothers and then being able to
scoop up everything.
That is that is crazy.
That's wow.
That's wild.
SPEAKER_01 (37:51):
I got one last thing
for you guys because you know I
like to talk about trailers andstuff like that.
SPEAKER_00 (37:56):
Current events?
SPEAKER_01 (37:57):
Yeah, all right.
So upcoming trailers, D Hustle'svery exciting.
So I can see it in his faceright now.
So, alright.
This just came out last weekend.
Hopefully, you guys have seenit.
He didn't even say anything yet.
I already feel it.
I already feel it.
It's dragon.
All right, Street Fighter justcame out this past weekend.
(38:17):
Have you guys seen the trailer?
SPEAKER_00 (38:18):
I seen the trailer.
Um I like 50, yeah, the onethat's 50 in it.
It's only like 55 seconds.
Yeah, the the trailer you'reteaser.
Yeah, yeah.
Um, I will say that um some ofthe movements that I seen, you
can see that they're like tyingpeople up doing some type of
moves.
So I'm hoping the movie will bebetter than the trailer itself.
It's a teaser.
(38:39):
But uh I'm looking forward to itbecause that's a childhood game
for me.
SPEAKER_01 (38:42):
Yes, of course.
Okay, all right.
So Street Fighter, you need togo.
SPEAKER_00 (38:44):
Oh, actually, be
before we even move forward.
So, who was your favorite playeron Street Fighters?
SPEAKER_01 (38:48):
Uh, I used to like
uh God, you know, Blanca.
Yeah.
I love Blanca.
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
I almost felt like the wholeelectricity thing was almost
impossible.
Yeah.
Like dad, and then there was amove that he did where he
rolled.
Uh-huh.
He was one of my favorites.
SPEAKER_00 (39:02):
Yeah.
How about you, D, on StreetFighters?
SPEAKER_02 (39:04):
Uh, Street Fighter,
it was always uh Oh my god, Gu.
SPEAKER_00 (39:09):
Gaiu?
Ken.
Yeah.
Yeah, everybody likes.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Okay.
Yeah.
I used to get on uh Chung Li wasmine, bro.
So as soon as she could do that, and then she could do the
spinning thing.
I remember that either.
Oh my gosh, bro.
I remember the sequence andeverything.
I was just killing it, bro.
But you're talking about thegame or you're talking about the
movie?
The game, the game.
Oh, the game.
Oh yeah.
SPEAKER_02 (39:27):
The game is always
Ken for me.
I always do my thing real quick.
He's got a lot of moves, simpleand easy.
Yeah.
SPEAKER_00 (39:34):
Um bison too.
I I I like Bison too.
Yeah, because he reminded me ofRaiden.
Yeah.
Yeah, yeah.
But uh it was always Bison andChung Lee.
Mortal Kombat, yeah.
Yeah, yeah.
Uh Bison and Chung Lee.
Yeah.
But um Street Fighters.
SPEAKER_01 (39:49):
Check out the Street
Fighter trade.
Another trailer for you is uhSupergirl.
Have you seen that?
SPEAKER_00 (39:52):
Supergirl.
What do you mean?
Like a spider I mean Supermanspin off, but Supergirl?
SPEAKER_01 (39:57):
Yes.
SPEAKER_00 (39:58):
No, I haven't seen
it.
SPEAKER_01 (39:58):
Yeah, it's super
girl trailer.
Out.
Yeah.
Big is that person in there thatis blowing up the internet.
They're talking about him.
A big actor that was in Game ofThrones.
I'll just leave it at that.
Uh-huh.
He is in Supergirl, so he's oneof the characters in there
that's spinning off theinternet.
And then for you guys here, Iknow D.
Hustle's very excited aboutthis.
(40:19):
This Friday, which I plan ongoing to see this with my kids.
Uh-huh.
New Avatar comes out thisFriday.
Oh, the new Avatar comes out?
Avatar Fire It Ash comes outthis Friday.
Yeah.
And one of the reasons why I'mbringing it up is you have to go
see Avatar because they're onlygoing to be showing these
trailers if you go watch it.
The new Avengers Doom Day.
SPEAKER_00 (40:40):
Oh.
As a trailer?
SPEAKER_01 (40:42):
As a trailer.
If you go see that, you're goingto see the new Avengers Doom
Day.
You'll see the live action carsremake.
That's my shit.
Doom cake.
Stop playing the Romans Day.
And then the Odyssey.
The Odyssey.
Which one's Odyssey?
The Odyssey is, you know, likewith the whole Romans and stuff
like that.
Yeah, yeah.
Yes.
Yeah.
That's going to be huge.
Ah.
So another thing too isAvengers, what they're doing is
(41:04):
very slick.
They're coming out with fourdifferent trailers.
So you literally would have togo watch the Avatar every week
to go see the four differenttrails.
Four different trailers?
Yes.
They're coming out with fourdifferent trailers of Avid
Avengers.
That's crazy.
SPEAKER_02 (41:17):
Yes, isn't that
crazy?
You go into the movies fourdifferent times to go see
Avatar.
SPEAKER_01 (41:23):
The same avatar.
It's like the same avatar, butfour different Avengers
trailers.
Yeah.
So and then eventually they'llshow you the whole one trailer.
Yeah.
SPEAKER_00 (41:31):
Yeah.
SPEAKER_02 (41:32):
My guys, uh, start
going to the movie theater
streaming and client.
We know how to do it.
I stream it.
We'll watch streaming, I'll seeyou on YouTube.
SPEAKER_01 (41:41):
He'll go for a
fucking time.
We'll be going this week with mykids to see the new Avatar down.
SPEAKER_00 (41:47):
But Avatar is one of
those movies that when you tell
people when the first one cameout, they went to watch it at
least two or three times, whichis crazy.
I mean, it was a good movie, butI don't know if I would go watch
it that many times.
Ahead of its time.
Not forcing you to go do it.
SPEAKER_02 (41:59):
James Cameron be
having these long ass movies.
I can't be dealing with that.
The new one is three hours long.
SPEAKER_01 (42:04):
Three hours long?
SPEAKER_02 (42:05):
I don't got time.
It's like watching Titanic andshit.
SPEAKER_01 (42:08):
They don't feel like
it though.
SPEAKER_02 (42:10):
That's crazy.
Realize all the Avengers arealmost three hours old.
Facts.
It's like, let's be realistichere.
Yeah.
Like this is too much.
It's too much for me.
But is this the last avatar?
No.
SPEAKER_01 (42:23):
This is three.
He's making four and he's makingfive.
SPEAKER_00 (42:27):
Wait, hold on, hold
on.
This is part three.
So this is part three, andthere's gonna be two more
afterwards.
Yes.
SPEAKER_02 (42:32):
Dang, when does the
story doesn't end?
No, he's hanging out with Sauland Predator and That's crazy.
SPEAKER_00 (42:38):
Fast and Furious and
make money.
SPEAKER_01 (42:40):
I mean agree.
SPEAKER_00 (42:41):
Well that's not the
that's not the part.
It's being innovative, bro.
It's being like Is Avatar notinnovative?
The storyline is the same.
They're being chased down like Idon't know.
It's the same thing.
Okay.
Same thing.
SPEAKER_01 (42:54):
Okay.
Last one was water.
Now this is fire and ash.
But it's the same thing.
What is it?
The Earth Win and Fire showfucking?
SPEAKER_00 (43:00):
Oh my gosh.
I mean, I I I'm not gonna front.
I like Avatar.
I think it's a really, reallyeye-opener um movie in terms of
um blue um um indigenous peoplestanding up against
colonization.
Yes.
Yes.
So I'll I'll leave it at that.
Yes.
(43:22):
But that that's the thing that Ilike about that is the
indigenous people are actuallystanding up against
colonization.
Uh but uh I don't know how manytimes I can watch a four-hour
movie of uh the same thingagain.
SPEAKER_01 (43:33):
But I'll I'll I'll
talk about it on the pod next
week how it was.
SPEAKER_00 (43:37):
For sure, for sure.
SPEAKER_02 (43:38):
I mean he the same
thing he told me about Fantastic
Four, look how horrible thatcame out to be.
Uh yeah, that was.
SPEAKER_00 (43:43):
I mean, he was gonna
be great.
It's a great movie.
SPEAKER_01 (43:45):
Whoa, whoa, whoa,
let's hear Raymond's sake.
Go ahead, go ahead and take it,Raymond.
I was wrong about FantasticFour.
I'm not ashamed to say what I'msaying.
SPEAKER_02 (43:52):
You're not giving a
round of applause for standing
on it.
Here's the thing.
He was never gonna say anythinguntil I mentioned it.
So he was gonna be completelyquiet.
SPEAKER_00 (44:01):
That was that was a
terrible one.
Yeah, that was not good.
But if we if we could roll thetapes back, we should definitely
see how excited you were aboutthat.
Yeah.
SPEAKER_02 (44:08):
He was.
He was just so excited.
Yeah, I was so excited.
I'm not ashamed to say it.
SPEAKER_00 (44:12):
Yeah, yeah.
Don't get caught up on thetrailers.
SPEAKER_02 (44:15):
Shout out to
Stranger Things outfit.
Stranger Things.
Shout out to Wednesday.
Put your shirt up, man.
Let him see the shirt.
SPEAKER_01 (44:22):
Wow.
Best club in the world.
SPEAKER_02 (44:24):
Last time somebody
wore that shirt, they got beat
up, so he needs to know how towear that shirt again.
SPEAKER_00 (44:30):
Actually, the second
part is coming out soon, right?
Yes.
Over this holidays.
Second part?
Yeah, so they had a first partwith a few episodes, and now
they're the first four episodescame out.
SPEAKER_01 (44:38):
And now they're
gonna have the final four will
come out on Christmas.
Ah, okay.
SPEAKER_00 (44:42):
Yeah, I haven't seen
it yet.
I gotta watch it with the wifey,so I haven't watched it yet.
And then it's done, or it'sdone, yes.
Okay, because you said chapter, like there's another chapter
coming out.
SPEAKER_01 (44:49):
It's the end of the
whole series.
Okay.
SPEAKER_00 (44:51):
Okay.
Please, I hope so.
Because it's been going on for anumber of years.
SPEAKER_01 (44:54):
Yeah, it's like 10
years.
SPEAKER_00 (44:55):
Exactly, bro.
Yeah.
Yeah, but it's only fourseasons.
Five seasons.
Five?
Five seasons.
Yeah.
But in general, it's but this isthe part of like the movie
business.
That's more than LeBron's chip.
He doesn't miss an opportunity.
He doesn't miss an opportunity.
Well, we'll we'll definitelyhave some more words about that.
Uh, but I guess what I wassaying about movies is I don't
(45:17):
know how innovative they are ifthey're just taking uh a series
and constantly going over andover and over and over and over
the series.
Even though the storylinechanges, the characters grew up.
But come on, man.
Our area of time, they only waslike part one and part two, and
that's it.
These people were like part six, seven, ten, twenty, and you said
Saul 21.
(45:37):
Like, how much more do you canyou go, right?
SPEAKER_02 (45:39):
I don't know.
As many as people like Raymondthat will go out to watch it.
SPEAKER_00 (45:42):
You pay for it,
right?
That's what it is.
Deconomics are driving it.
But I want them to beinnovative.
I want new new new characters.
SPEAKER_02 (45:49):
Fast and Furious
coming out again.
That's crazy.
Um, what else is coming out?
Another Predator is coming out.
That's crazy.
Uh, Panas of the Apes, anotherone's coming out.
Oh, they're doing another one?
They're doing another one.
You see?
You see what I mean?
Okay.
He's about to get the early birdtickets.
Sevens three is coming out,Raymond.
(46:10):
Okay.
SPEAKER_01 (46:11):
Yeah, Severance is
not gonna be out for another
year or two.
Look at that.
No, I don't know about thatabout that.
He's following up.
SPEAKER_02 (46:18):
House of Dragons is
coming out, ladies and
gentlemen.
If you guys are not ready forthat this year, not coming up
2026, be alert.
That's gonna be my movietrailer.
Yeah, yeah.
That's gonna be my topic.
Yeah, yeah.
That's the one that's gonna blowhis out of the way.
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
All right.
SPEAKER_00 (46:33):
He's already getting
ready for that segment of Well,
anything else, Raymond?
No, that's it.
All right, man.
Well, uh, first off, thank youso much for holding it down for
2025.
Shout out to Raymond and his 4%of the stuff.
Dang, you give him 4%?
Oh Lord, he went from 90 to 4%.
Go watch those trailers, guys.
Those trailers.
(46:54):
I think Raymond, in terms ofconsistency, you're very
consistent.
Um, in terms of actual umreviews of those movies, I don't
know if you're in a 90, um, butI appreciate the confidence.
Um, and definitely I really doappreciate you can contributing
to the show.
Uh, so thank you so much, man.
SPEAKER_02 (47:10):
We'll be like
Bronny.
We give him 68%.
And then people go complainabout that.
Better than Bronny.
SPEAKER_00 (47:17):
Oh, we called out
the first.
SPEAKER_02 (47:19):
That's the first.
SPEAKER_00 (47:20):
He called you out.
He calls you out.
All right now.
So uh the next segment thatwe're gonna jump into uh to get
some best of 2025 is uh cue thatup for you, player.
See how active he gets.
(47:41):
Look at my guy.
So for 2025, uh the best episodethat we had around sports,
because D Hustle's been holdingdown, uh keeping it up to date
with sports, is the LeBron MJBattle of the Goats Stat for
Stats.
So um I don't know if y'all haveseen some of the results, but
everybody has had some kind ofcomment about it, and
(48:03):
technically it's probably beenthe best segment of our show for
2025.
So a big round of applause toboth of y'all, you know, uh
holding it down um andsupporting uh uh the insights
around both of those twomagnificent players themselves.
Um big round of applause to thewinner.
(48:24):
Uh thank you guys, thank you.
It based on comments that wehad, more people had comments
about MJ versus LeBron.
So I I definitely feel like uhuh D Hustle did come out uh
inching uh uh further ahead.
Uh but it's definitely notablethat uh a lot of people did have
a few things to say aboutLeBron.
Not not the greatest things, butum What they say about LeBron.
(48:46):
A few things laughing at some ofthe stats, um definitely uh uh
emphasizing some of the commentsthat D Hustle had about LeBron.
Um but overall I thought it wasuh a great show, a great
episode.
If you haven't heard it, look inour um um feed um in our uh
playlist, you'll see Battle ofthe Goats, LeBron versus uh MJ,
and it's an episode dedicated tothese two fellas, you know,
(49:09):
going at it and um bringing up.
Well, D Hustle had a lot moredata to bring up, but in
general, uh people really, really did enjoy that.
So any feedback for that or anyuh thoughts on that?
SPEAKER_01 (49:20):
Good, no.
Sounds like there's a lot ofLeBron haters out there.
And this guy ran out of it.
That was good, it was fun.
But um, yeah, I'm glad to hearthat that was the uh most
watched segment.
So, you know, sports is great,it always brings people
together, and then you know, when you have your favorite you
know, players and stuff likethat, that always brings out the
(49:42):
the heat of the passion andstuff like that.
But yeah, no, that's good.
SPEAKER_00 (49:45):
Yeah, for sure, for
sure.
He said I did my job.
Oh man.
But but yeah, I mean this thisyear in sports, I think uh first
off, D, thank you so much forkeeping everybody up to date.
Um, we had some really good uhbaseball that happened this
year.
I thought that was a great, great, great series.
Great series.
Shout out to the F series.
(50:06):
Yeah.
I think I think you had mefollowing along um to see how it
was gonna play out.
Um and big shout-outs to theDodgers and and the whole
organization and um boys out inToronto, they they they missed
one off of that one.
Um also end of last year we had,or the beginning of this year,
we had basketball.
Um I thought that was a reallygood setting series.
Uh football is still going on.
(50:27):
And actually, uh D, I heard youkind of rewind the tapes.
Is uh I want y'all to hear someof D's uh uh predictions for the
year, especially for the Giants.
Yeah.
Um I I don't know how how do youfeel in terms of what where your
predictions are?
SPEAKER_02 (50:39):
I I think I was nice
and gave my team, I think, one
or two more victories than whatthan what it is.
But right now the record is twoand twelve.
Yeah.
Shout out to the Giantsorganization because they know
what the fuck they're doing.
Um shout out to uh no coach.
Umganization know what they'redoing.
(51:04):
Shalom to Alvin Bs.
To go to the Badges.
Um leave in the Mets to go in tothe fucking um Baltimore
Orioles.
Shalom to the Mets, uh Steventhe fucking Owens, um, which is
(51:25):
hurting my feelings.
Uh call me.
Yeah.
Uh before we can discuss um truetalent.
Uh I can't believe we let thepolo bear go.
Uh I am very hurt right aboutnow, but continue.
Uh I digress.
Go ahead.
SPEAKER_00 (51:40):
No, I mean it it's
it it is definitely um
noteworthy that uh uh your yourpredictions are very much
aligned and your support foryour teams um it seems very
consistent.
SPEAKER_02 (51:51):
When you know your
team, you know your team.
Um you know I'm not gonna leavemy team uh but I do have a lot
to say about the team.
SPEAKER_00 (52:01):
Yeah, and and and
then on Raymond's side of the
house, uh the Dolphins, how doyou feel like yeah, you kind of
turned off after the secondweek.
SPEAKER_01 (52:09):
Yeah, I turned it
off after the second week, and
then they decided to dosomething stupid and start
winning games late in the year.
How's that stupid, bro?
Six wins?
Uh it's pointless.
Yeah.
So they had like a 0.5% chanceof making the playoffs, but then
Tua did what he did.
He stunk it up last night onMonday night football.
Yeah.
(52:29):
And um yeah.
SPEAKER_02 (52:31):
But I I want to ask
you a question.
Um you guys are not in theplayoffs.
Well, actually in the hunt.
SPEAKER_01 (52:38):
We're not.
But why are you guys stillplaying Tua?
I completely agree with you.
Now they just said this morningthat it's now on the table the
being benched.
SPEAKER_00 (52:47):
Uh the big thing.
SPEAKER_01 (52:48):
They should have
been this from the beginning.
Yeah.
So, but it's because they wenton a run, they were winning
these games, and but yeah, nowthey lost last night, and now
they were considering benchinghim.
Yeah.
Pointless wins, but hey,whatever.
So yeah.
SPEAKER_00 (53:02):
That's wild.
That's wild.
Also on the big list uh for 2025is uh Shador uh in his draft
pick, but also how's heperforming?
So how do y'all think he he'sbeen so far in terms of his
performance?
SPEAKER_01 (53:16):
Um I was very
opinionated, but I do want to
take some stuff back.
I do feel like we clarify thatthat organization and the coach
is a joke.
It looks like they're trying toset him up.
Right?
So yeah, that's all I have todo.
It's crazy though.
SPEAKER_02 (53:35):
So can you elaborate
a little bit more for our
listeners that are notunderstanding what was going on?
SPEAKER_01 (53:41):
Let me see.
Uh the most recent game, theygave him the wrong wristband
that had the plays the weekbefore they were gonna do a
two-point conversion.
They did not have him in to dothat.
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
And they lost the game.
It just the coach is just seemslike he's trying to set him up.
Yeah.
So yeah, I want to take somestuff back that maybe I was a
little harsh.
It just that coach and thatorganization is a joke.
SPEAKER_00 (54:03):
But but his
performance though.
SPEAKER_01 (54:04):
His performance has
been decent.
Yeah, yeah.
So yeah, it looks like ifthey're not trying to set the
kid up, he could probably do so.
Yeah.
SPEAKER_02 (54:11):
So you're saying you
think he's gonna start?
SPEAKER_01 (54:14):
Yes, they should
just let him.
I doubt it.
SPEAKER_02 (54:17):
I doubt it.
I doubt it.
Oh well, we'll take it all back.
Well, if they keep that coach, but I don't know.
So yeah.
That's it.
I don't think Deshaun Jackson'sgonna go ahead and uh take over
that.
SPEAKER_01 (54:27):
Yeah, they're paying
him a lot of money, so that
would make sense.
unknown (54:30):
Yeah.
SPEAKER_00 (54:30):
Um, and then uh this
one's for uh D Hustle.
So another um really big 2025 isuh LeBron versus Stephen A.
Smith.
SPEAKER_02 (54:38):
Oh, yeah, that was
the best.
That was the best.
I think.
I mean, where do you want me tostart?
SPEAKER_00 (54:47):
I knew this is gonna
get you round up.
SPEAKER_02 (54:50):
Um shit, I totally
forgot about that.
Yeah, I know, right?
Uh yeah, I I I'm all aboutStephen A.
Smith.
Wow.
I'm all about Stephen A.
Smith.
A LeBron fan will say a littlebit different.
Uh, but again, that is his job, that is his um career, that is
why he's getting paid the mostmoney.
Uh again, LeBron is barking upthe wrong tree.
(55:14):
A lot of people started talkingshit the same way to LeBron, and
it seems like he only steps tocertain people.
Like my man, uh, was it Gucciwhat's his name again?
Gucci man?
Is it Gucci Mane?
SPEAKER_00 (55:28):
Ah, I can't remember
his name, but I know who you
talk about.
The rapper, yeah, yeah.
SPEAKER_02 (55:30):
He said a front
court, yeah.
I didn't see him approach himand he talked about his wife.
SPEAKER_00 (55:34):
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
He didn't say nothing.
SPEAKER_02 (55:36):
So what do you have
to say about that, LeBron?
SPEAKER_01 (55:38):
Uh LeBron just
didn't want to be suspended,
that's all.
SPEAKER_02 (55:41):
Oh, okay.
So it's a right to uh it's aright to for him to go to
another person that's makingmillions of dollars, but not to
another person that's not makingmillions of dollars.
SPEAKER_01 (55:53):
I think the
difference is the guy Stephen A
was going on a whole campaigndoing it for like a whole year.
Come on.
This guy made one comment.
So I think that's why LeBrondidn't step up to him.
That's all I can say.
I mean he replied back the um Hedid make a little thing on
Instagram or Twitter orwhatever.
So yeah, that was come on.
(56:15):
I think Stephen A was just kindof taking it personal.
SPEAKER_00 (56:18):
Yeah, I mean it's
it's it's noteworthy for the
year of 2025.
Yeah, it was, yeah, yeah.
Um but definitely uh Stephen A.
Smith Stephen A.
Smith is doing what Stephen A.
Smith does.
Yes.
Um so um I'm happy that uh itwas called in public um and
everyone got to see uh theresults of it, which um makes me
question a few things, but I Ijust see a bitch.
SPEAKER_02 (56:40):
I mean uh that's all
I see.
SPEAKER_01 (56:44):
You're not gonna
step up if someone talks about
your kid?
No.
Okay, all right.
SPEAKER_02 (56:49):
Not at all.
SPEAKER_01 (56:50):
Okay.
SPEAKER_02 (56:54):
I mean, if you if
you if you really want to so
you're telling me you're you'regonna tell me Bronny's not be
able to stand up for himself?
Um I'm just saying any parent.
No, no, I'm a kid.
I'm asking.
So let's say I don't see anybodyelse complaining besides LeBron.
I mean, I don't see no mamasgoing on TV.
(57:14):
You talked about my son, that'sright, yada yada.
Well, I don't see thedifference.
I mean I mean, should mothersgo?
I mean, mothers should be hadthe the right to come on TV and
saying, why the fuck are youtalking about my son like that?
SPEAKER_01 (57:28):
Well, yeah, his
mom's not a personal figure, a
public figure, so yeah.
SPEAKER_00 (57:32):
I'm just all I know
is it was definitely a memorable
moment for 2025.
SPEAKER_01 (57:37):
I think he was just
standing up for his kid, that's
all.
SPEAKER_02 (57:40):
As a father, yes,
you should be standing up for
your kid.
But are you making a man of him?
Yeah, I mean, or you're gonna becrippling, are we gonna be, you
know?
SPEAKER_00 (57:52):
The situation, you
know, warrants uh certain
different type of uh reactions.
Um I don't know if that was justthe right one, in my opinion.
SPEAKER_02 (57:59):
Hey, I'm gonna tell
you right now, this is gonna be
the year that you see father andson retire at the same fucking
time.
Same year, same time, sameeverything.
Wow.
The worst fucking draft NBA everdid was the second round 55 uh
pick was LeBrony James.
Wow.
Uh and the dad is just useless.
(58:20):
Can't even fucking playbasketball now, and he should
retire.
He's getting old, he's gettingold.
I mean, that's that's that'swhat all LeBron fans are gonna
say.
Give him a break.
He's old, he's still out there, but still want to defend the
guy, but not putting up points.
Like, let me know.
SPEAKER_00 (58:34):
Yeah, I mean, I I'm
not I'm not defending him.
SPEAKER_02 (58:36):
But nobody says
anything to him when he's doing
10 points a fucking game.
Like, what?
Is is it his stamina not thesame?
SPEAKER_00 (58:43):
Yeah, I don't know.
I don't know.
What's the difference?
SPEAKER_02 (58:45):
Well, we'll see how
long he lasts.
I think he maybe got maybe onemore season left.
If that's he needs to retirelike today.
SPEAKER_00 (58:51):
We'll see.
SPEAKER_02 (58:51):
Like, oh I mean, and
also another thing that I don't
like about LeBron, let me tellyou how much of a uh a bad
influence he has.
Oh boy.
SPEAKER_00 (59:00):
Oh boy.
Did I light a fire?
Did you know?
SPEAKER_02 (59:03):
You remember how he
did that special announcement
that he said he had something tosay?
SPEAKER_00 (59:08):
Yeah.
SPEAKER_02 (59:08):
Remember the last
time he did that, it was saying
that he was taking Miami.
Yeah, yeah.
Now he's encouraging everybodyto drink some Hennessy.
True.
SPEAKER_00 (59:16):
I mean, that was
that was a big announcement in
2025 for him.
SPEAKER_02 (59:20):
Like, usually
something like that is supposed
to be retired.
A lot of people bought ticketsto see him play because they
thought he was going to retire.
And now he's won out toretirement.
So should he be a laughing stocknext time he does something like
that, Raymond?
SPEAKER_01 (59:35):
Yeah, that was a bit
much.
He did troll everybody with thatuh with that announcement.
So which was intentional.
SPEAKER_00 (59:43):
So I do recall that
too.
SPEAKER_01 (59:46):
Yeah, it was uh it
was a troll job, that's all I
gotta say.

SPEAKER_00 (01:03:05):

with the number 23?
SPEAKER_02 (01:03:07):
No, he wants
everybody in the NBA
organization to retire, thenumber 23.
Everybody in the whole everyorganization.
Because they want him torecognize his greatness.
I don't know about it.
SPEAKER_00 (01:03:20):
