It has been a year since I watched and heard my mom breathe her last breath, and it has not gotten any easier, but he ability to cope has. I have since learned to seek the help and education that I need to help with the grieving process. I started listening to this podcast called Men's Alliance, and from that I have started building on to my male friendships, reading books like Disciplines of A Godly Man (R. Kent Hughes), Renewing Your Mind In A Mindless World (James Montgomery Boice), and Gates of Fire (Steven Pressfield). I talk a little about how this has helped me grow and deal with this loss.
