Speaker 1 (00:00):
Welcome back to the
Think Cute Podcast, where we are
thinking cute, and thinkingcute is a lifestyle not being
conformed to the world, butbeing transformed by the
renewing of our mind.
We are disrupting toxicpatterns and we are breaking
generational curses as we pushback the gates of hell.
In Jesus name, welcome, welcomeback.
(00:21):
Could you get excited,girlfriend?
Could you get excited?
I'm so glad you're here.
Well, last week we talked aboutwhere are you, and it was all
about our heart, posture and thepath to freedom and
transformation, beginning withSonship and knowing that we are
daughters of the Most High Kingand our identity is foundationed
(00:44):
in that.
And when we have thatfoundation, there is freedom and
there is so much power andanointing, because when you're a
daughter and you know youridentity, the intimacy with God
that you have is bar none.
It's like next level.
And so I can tell youpersonally, I am on that journey
(01:05):
to just becoming more and moreintimate with the father
understanding my identity inbeing his daughter, and it is an
ongoing layer to layer, it'shealing, it is becoming aware,
it is all the things.
And so I hope that you tunedinto that episode, but I am
going to continue with somereally, really really great
(01:28):
content in this realm and I justwant to bring some awareness to
you today as we just dive in toknowing ourselves better and
kind of identifying where we are.
And it is an everyday, minuteby minute, literally.
(01:48):
It's a battle in our mind thatwe have to continue to be
intentional with.
Today I want to ask you do youknow where you are and are you
aware of the patterns thatyou're facing every day?
It's like you love Jesus, butyou still wrestle with fear and
(02:09):
anxiety.
You love Jesus, but you wrestlewith knowing who you are and
your purpose.
And why am I here?
What am I doing?
I feel stuck.
I feel lost.
You got the vision, maybeyou're like I see it, I know
exactly what it is, but yourmind stays stuck in survival
mode and you can't get past thatwall that you keep bumping your
(02:31):
head into.
You're doing all the things, you're learning every skill
you're, you're continuing topress in, but you feel stuck.
I want to tell you that thereis hope, there is a word for you
today, and I want to encourageyou that if you identify and if
you resonate with that, you'renot alone.
(02:51):
I'm telling you you are notalone.
I have experienced itpersonally and I know like,
going into this new season of mylife, I am facing the same
things that I faced, you know,10 years ago.
I'm like, oh my goodness, oh mygoodness, I thought I overcame
this, I thought I was healed inthis area, and one of my mentors
(03:13):
in a program that I wentthrough it's like a six month
program and he shared a storyabout his journey and his
identity and all of the patternsthat would pop up in his life.
And let me tell you, this manis a multimillionaire.
His company is over $10 millionand $50 million, $100 million I
(03:37):
couldn't even tell you, but hestarted at like, he hit a goal
at like 10 million and then hegot stuck at 50 and then like
went on to do 100, like 100million plus, and so, anyways,
besides the point I'm justtelling you, the credibility of
this man, at the level he's at,is multi millions.
Okay, and so he shared.
(03:59):
It's like you come to this spacein your world where you
overcome and you have victory inthis area.
Imagine you're in like an acreof land and you have it.
You've tilled the soil, you'vegotten all the weeds, you've
watered the grass, everything isgreen, the flowers are growing,
(04:21):
your house is beautiful and theacre of land is manicured and
you have a system to maintain it.
And it's amazing, you haveovercome this acre of land.
But then you get another acreof land and they're like oh,
your neighbors are selling moreproperty.
You want to add on to yourproperty and of course I do.
(04:42):
Yes, let me take this next acreof land.
But when you acquire that land,it looks nothing like the land
that you have had the past year.
Right, this land is not tilled,it is not weeded, it is not
flowered and watered and thehouse does not look like it is
freshly painted.
This land is a hot mess and butyou're like but I've already
(05:07):
done the work, but this is a newacre of land and so the weeds
are there and all the things, and so when you're going into
your next level he mentionedhe's like you know, it's like
acquiring that new acre of landthere's weeds, there's things
that you have to pull out, andthe same patterns that have
tried to hold you back they comeback.
He's things that you have topull out and the same patterns
that have tried to hold you backthey come back.
He's like my same self-doubt,my same am I good enough?
(05:32):
Thoughts came back to him inthis new season and he was like
what in the world?
And so the premise of mesharing this story with you is
no matter what level you're at,the same little foxes, the same
little devils, the same littlethoughts, whatever you want to
call them.
They will try to attack youagain and they'll try to latch
(05:54):
on to this familiarity of oh mygosh, what am I thinking that I
can go to this next level?
I am absolutely not good enough.
I am not equipped.
I do not know what I'm doing.
All of these lies could holdyou back, but I want to
encourage you and I want to tellyou that you have not come this
far to only stay right here.
You are prepared to go into thenext acre and till that land.
(06:18):
It might take a little bit ofwork.
It might go faster than it hadbeen five years ago.
Right Like, you are moreequipped.
You have tools in your toolbelt to go and get those weeds
out.
You have tools in your toolbelt to go, water those flowers,
plant the flowers and do thethings you need to do to prepare
this land and go to this nextlevel and acquire more territory
(06:38):
.
And I want to tell you, everytime you take action on
defeating a negative, limitingbelief, you are actively pushing
back the gates of hell.
And the gates of hell, they'rein your mind.
The gates try to encamp aroundyour mind and keep you bound in
prison in your mind.
(06:59):
And so, with every inch youtake of your inner healing and
your inner being, of your beliefsystem and your mindset, you
are expanding your territory inyour mind and you are just
knocking out, you are pushingback the gates of hell.
And once you can overcome thegates of hell that are wrapped
(07:19):
around your mind, keeping youbound and imprisoned in these
limiting beliefs of yourself-doubt and unworthiness and
why am I here and all, what am Idoing?
And, gosh, I can never doanything right these limiting
things that are literally thegates.
You overcome them with Romans12, 2, renewing your mind and
(07:40):
taking captive every thought.
Renew your mind in the truth.
You are pushing back the gatesof hell and you are taking
territory in your mind andtaking captive every thought.
Renew your mind in the truth.
You are pushing back the gatesof hell and you are taking
territory in your mind.
And once you can take fully theterritory in your mind, and I
wouldn't even say you have totake it fully, because it's
going to be a day by day.
We are always getting betterevery day.
We've never.
We will never arrive and I willbe blue in my face saying this,
(08:03):
but we never arrive.
We are going to be going gloryto glory to glory until the day
Jesus comes back.
In Jeremiah 29, 11, it says theplans I have for you are to
prosper you and to give you ahope and a future, and it's
something that is worked on inyou until Christ Jesus comes.
And so this is the work ofJesus in us, perfecting us,
(08:28):
transforming us into his image.
And so it's exciting when wefind something that is holding
us back because we can go okay, cool, let's go, let's go God
Like, let's take down the enemy, let's push back the gates of
hell.
And so my point is, when youcan push back the gates of hell
in your mind and you can riseand shine, like God has called
(08:51):
you to do, and be a city on ahill, then you can start to
influence and impact your house, your home, your family, your
friends, and then your community, your church, your city and
then eventually your state andyour nation.
Imagine the impact that youcould have if you just start to
lead yourself in the way ofRomans 12, 2, not being
(09:17):
conformed to the world, beingtransformed by the renewing of
your mind and so becoming aware, taking captive those thoughts
is essential for that, and sobecoming aware, taking captive
those thoughts is essential forthat.
So all of that to say I wantedto just set the tone for what
I'm going to share with you.
That's just the introduction.
Get excited.
But again I want to ask youlike you know the Lord, you know
(09:38):
his goodness, but you stillwrestle with fear, anxiety,
self-doubt, identity.
You don't know that you are soprecious right.
You struggle with that.
Maybe you have the idea but youdon't believe it.
And again I'll repeat likemaybe you've got the vision, but
your mind stays stuck insurvival and you're like I can't
(09:58):
get past this, I'm just tryingto get the laundry done and it's
so hard.
Like I'm telling you, whenyou're in survival mode, easy
tasks feel overwhelming and veryhard.
Why can I tell you that?
Because that was me for yearsstuck in survival mode,
depressed, not knowing what I'mdoing and just surviving, just
(10:22):
showing up because I have afamily, I have kids and I have
to show up for them.
It is a fight or flight kind ofthing.
And so, with that being said, Iwant to encourage you that we do
have power and authority inChrist Jesus.
When we say yes to Jesus, hegives us the keys to the kingdom
and he gives us, with thebaptism of the Holy Spirit, the
(10:45):
Holy Spirit, power that worksthrough us, and so first it
works in us, then it worksthrough us, and it is so
absolutely powerful.
And I want to take us toMatthew 9, 4 in the Bible.
I want to encourage you to openup the word and read this with
me.
It says but Jesus, knowingtheir thoughts, said why do you
(11:08):
think evil in your heart andgoing forward, for which it's
easier to say your sins areforgiven you?
Or to say arise and walk?
For context, this is it says.
Then, behold, they brought him aparalytic lying on a bed.
When Jesus saw their faith, hesaw the paralytic son.
(11:28):
Be of good cheer, your sins areforgiven you.
At once, some of the scribessaid within themselves this man
blasphemies.
But Jesus, knowing theirthoughts, said why do you think
evil in your hearts?
For which is it easier to sayyour sins are forgiven or to say
arise and walk, but rather youknow that the son of man has
(11:50):
power on earth to forgive sins.
Then he said to the paralyticarise, take up your bed and go
to your house.
And he arose and departed tohis house.
Matthew 9, 4 says Jesus knewtheir thoughts and said why do
you entertain evil thoughts inyour hearts?
So, like Jesus, we need to tuneinto our inner dialogue and
(12:13):
speak life to the things thatare keeping us stuck.
He spoke to the man who wasparalytic.
He said be of good cheer, yoursins are forgiven you.
Now we could pull up multiplescriptures on how you have been
forgiven of your sins, andthat's a whole nother
conversation.
But who the son sets free isfree indeed, and if you know the
(12:37):
truth, the truth will set youfree.
Do you believe what Jesus said?
Where are you hanging out?
It's so important to become soaware.
Oh, my gosh, if awareness isyour superpower and I probably
sound like a broken record Ifyou listen to my content I talk
a lot about awareness, becauseit wasn't until I became so
(13:01):
aware of my like, where I was inlife and like gosh, the power
that I had to change it.
I remember specificallylearning how to celebrate
becoming aware of a strugglethat I had, and my mother in
love said oh my gosh, look atthat, you are aware of something
that is keeping you stuck.
(13:22):
Celebrate that, because themajority of the time, all of
these things are stuck in oursubconscious and we're operating
from an automatic drivingsystem and so we're
automatically going with thetoxic patterns, and it's only
until we can get them into ourconscious mind that we can
become manual drivers and becomethe like sit in the driver's
(13:45):
seat and shift, shift, shiftthings into place.
When you're driving a manual, you have to shift into gear to
go faster, and so it literallytakes you from automatic to that
manual position of now I'm incontrol, I can't go anywhere and
my clutch will actually die ifI don't shift like it will burn
(14:07):
up.
And so it is in our power, nowthat we are aware of these toxic
patterns, that we can then goafter them and get healing,
learn new thought processes andcreate that new neural pathway
that our beautifulneuroplasticity of our brain is
so amazing that we can changeour mind literally and start to
(14:28):
clean up our negative thoughtprocesses.
And something that I heard todaywas really, really interesting
in the mindset of rich peopleand poor people.
Now I haven't really voicedthis out loud, but I have a goal
to be the first millionaire inmy family line, and it's been
(14:50):
something that has been on myheart for a long time and I
wanted to do it by the time I'm40 years old this year.
The ticking time clock isticking honey, and I'm really
really working on breaking anytoxic patterns that are keeping
me from my wealth generatingability, and so if you too, want
(15:14):
to be the first millionaire inyour family, I mean, drop it in
the comments, drop it below andlet me know.
But I'm sure I'm not alone inthis, but there are some
distinct characteristics andmindsets that rich people versus
poor people have, and so I willshare with you a few of them.
But there's the science behindthis that I am actually tapping
(15:35):
into and I'm like, okay, we haveto become literal scientists,
because the science of anythingis obviously there's some laws
that operate and from the lawswe can get an observation, and
we can observe this thing and wecan ask some questions and we
(15:56):
can get some answers and developa hypothesis, which is a
proposed explanation made on thebase of a limited evidence as a
starting point for furtheringour investigation, and then we
can experiment.
If we begin to observe things, what in your life can you start
to observe, ask questions aboutand begin to experiment with?
(16:19):
That can change the way you'reliving, change the way you're
thinking, change the way you'rebehaving and all the things.
And so let me give you just alittle bit.
I hope that made sense.
I'm in the beginning stages ofthis, but it's so fascinating to
me how the laws in life canlead us into really experiencing
(16:40):
great breakthrough.
Imagine gravity and, like youknow, having the plane and the
science and physics behind theplane going into the air like
that's magnificent.
And so what in our life can wecreate that's magnificent, from
observing and asking somequestions and doing some
experiments and gathering someevidence about what we are
(17:02):
finding.
That takes a huge awareness, that takes slowing down to speed
up, that takes intentionality, that takes thinking about what
you're thinking about, right, and so I could geek out about
this stuff and I just I'mliterally just tapping the
surface.
So if you have questions, letme know and if you want to
correct me if I'm incorrect onanything, dm me.
(17:23):
That's fine.
Let's talk about the differencesreally quickly in rich people
and poor people, because this issomething that it goes along
with what we're saying, thinkingabout, what we're thinking
about.
Jesus knew their thoughts andsaid why do you entertain evil
thoughts in your hearts and inyour hearts?
Evil thoughts in your hearts?
Can we just stop right there?
Thoughts in your hearts?
(17:43):
Wait, my heart beats.
Why, would you say I'm thinkingin my heart?
Well, if you don't know, let meexplain something to you.
Like we are a triune being, sowe have a spirit, we have a body
and we have a soul, and so oursoul is where we think, feel,
(18:04):
and it's like the operationsystem of, like our thinking and
doing, and so in our hearts isour soul.
And so when we think, it saysin the Bible as a man thinketh
in his heart, there he is and sois he.
So why do you entertain evilthoughts in your heart?
So thoughts in your heart, yourbeliefs are in your heart, your
thoughts and your informationthat you know is in your mind,
(18:28):
and so when we can get fromknowing, having knowledge, to
believing and understanding itin our heart, then we can really
have a shift.
I've experienced this so much injust my identity, work that
I've done on my own, believingthat I have value.
It took me a really long timeto believe that I knew I was
(18:48):
smart.
I knew I had, I could do thingsthat other people couldn't.
So that was evidence that Icould.
You know, I had value in places, but I didn't believe it, and
so for so long I self-sabotagedmy success.
I'm like, oh my goodness.
And when I found out thatbelief comes from the heart and
from my heart I will then therefollow.
(19:10):
I had to really get quiet andforgive myself, break agreement
with all the lies that I feltabout myself and like tap into
my true identity.
Because I had a false identityI was operating out of and so in
my thoughts I was believingsomething negative in my heart,
and so I had to change thosethoughts in my heart to really
really really receive thatfreedom.
(19:32):
So Jesus knew their thoughts andsaid why do you entertain evil
thoughts in your hearts?
I asked the question a lotHow's your heart?
How is your heart?
What are you believing?
What is your heart posture?
Are you happy, are you sad?
Are you excited, are you tendertoday?
So I say that all that to sayis the difference If we can
really start to think about andbecome self-aware of, like what
(19:54):
am I believing in my heart?
What are the thoughts in myheart that are evil?
Like you're not good enough isan evil thought.
Fear and anxiety and thethoughts that cause them are
evil thoughts.
So what are you thinking inyour heart that's causing some
really toxic patterns?
Let's disrupt them today.
Let's become aware today.
But with that, I want to askyou if you want to be a daughter
(20:18):
, you want to be wealthy and youwant to create and you want to
have a thriving life.
Let's talk about some differentcharacteristics of rich and poor
, because I believe thesecharacteristics how you do
anything is how you doeverything.
And let me tell you, it is sotrue, and my husband actually
called me out on this the otherday and I was like oh, can't
(20:39):
argue with you.
He used my, he used my lineagainst me.
I was like All right, I got you, I got you.
We all have stuff to work on.
Praise God, because if wedidn't, honey, if you're not
learning and you're not growing, what are you doing?
You're dying.
Let's get into thecharacteristics and see if you
can identify these and see wheremaybe this could be a thought
(21:01):
process throughout differentareas of your life, because how
you do anything is how you doeverything, and so we are going
to become aware and we're goingto disrupt toxic patterns.
We're going to take captivenegative, evil thoughts.
In Jesus name, you agree withme?
Give me a hand clap.
Give me a hand clap.
Come on, keep your hands on thewheel if you're driving.
Okay, so the difference betweenrich and poor people.
(21:22):
So rich people educatethemselves.
Like bravo to you because youare listening to this podcast.
Come on, that's amazing.
Poor people entertainthemselves.
Now, are you finding yourselfwatching Netflix like listening
to random music?
That isn't, and you're justkind of zoning out what's the
entertainment that you areexperiencing or what's the
education that you'reexperiencing.
(21:43):
Where are you at on this one?
Do you go towards numbing outwith entertainment or do you
educate yourself and you want toget better?
Where are you at on that?
So rich people and poor peoplethat they rich people, they have
delayed gratification.
So they're totally okay withwaiting for something.
They don't have to buy thatthing, they don't have to go to
that place, they don't have todo that thing immediately.
(22:05):
They can be patient withdelayed gratification, but poor
people have an impulsive like Iwant to buy it now, I have to
have it now.
I've experienced that I'mlearning every day more and more
delayed gratification.
It's really hard for me to havedelayed gratification on.
When I find a book I'm like Iwant to buy the book right now.
(22:27):
I want the book right now, soI'm working on that too, but
buying impulsively.
Do you find yourself doing thatLike let's have more delayed
gratification?
We want to be wealthy, we wantto be rich.
Come on somebody, rich and poor.
Rich people have a growthmindset.
Poor people have a fixedmindset.
Rich people view challenges asopportunity.
Poor people lead their fixedmindset leads them to a cycle of
(22:52):
debt and limited financialprograms.
Let's really identify where weare and understanding rich and
wealthy.
Like the definition I would sayrich and wealthy, wealthy to me
is having the ability to notonly create value for yourself
but to create value for others, and so you are set and maybe
(23:16):
your family is set and maybeyour kids' kids are set.
Like so wealth is likegenerational.
I really, I really want toshift from being not only rich
where you can add value, butbeing wealthy where you can.
It's generational and so it'slong the longevity of it.
So in order to get to thewealth, we have to become rich,
and so these are thecharacteristics, and how to do
(23:39):
that is to start observing.
Get really scientifical, getreally, get really, really,
really intentional and start toobserve your life, start to ask
questions, get some answers thatyou can gain that hypothesis
and you can start experimenting.
And take everything that I'veshared and start experimenting,
(24:00):
like what would happen if youasked yourself a couple of
questions like what is keepingme stuck today?
I feel fear, I feel like I'm notgood enough, I feel like I
don't know what I'm doing.
Okay, cool, so if we don't feellike we are good enough or we
feel fear, if we don't feel likewe are good enough or we feel
(24:22):
fear, what is something like?
Is this the truth?
Like, hmm, so we have thisproposed explanation, I do not
feel good enough or I feelafraid, so we have this.
It's a, it's a limited evidence, and this is our starting point
to our investigation.
So if I have this, this is verygood, this is very, very good.
I have the understanding that Ifeel stuck because I have this
(24:45):
fear.
So what if we experiment?
What's the outcome that we want.
What if we experiment with, hey, is this a lie or is this the
truth, and we need to find thetruth?
And then what if we startoperating for that day or maybe
that week and going, okay, let'sreplace this with some action,
and say I am afraid I'm notgoing to get all the laundry
(25:06):
done, and just start doing oneload of laundry a day.
Experiment with how that makesyou feel, experiment with what
you experience through that, andthen you're going to find that
(25:28):
with one load of laundry a day,you actually get caught up and
then you have a victory and yousee what works.
And now you have a system right, and so I hope this is making
sense.
I'm really enjoying thisbecause this is like something
personal, literally, to me, thatI am implementing.
And so I started about 60 daysago Tuesday, we start our season
(25:51):
three of the TransformDevotional, and I gained an
observation that I was stuck.
I was not feeling valuable, Iwasn't feeling like I was good
enough in this area, and I askedmyself some questions what am I
not doing that I know that Ineed to be doing.
I gained the evidence and thenI started to experiment.
(26:11):
What if I showed up the way.
God showed me that I needed toshow up and I started the
transform devotional because Iheard a word from the Lord that
he said I want you to equip mydaughters.
I want you to start thistransform devotional.
Teach them the word, I willgive you revelation from heaven.
It'll be Holy Spirit led.
Just get started.
(26:32):
And so I did.
And now we're going on ourthird season and next well,
tomorrow we start our sonshipstudy and it's the next 90 days
of Daughter you Belong, daughteryou Belong.
I'm so excited for that.
But I know this firsthand.
(26:52):
I know it works and I knowaction cures all fear and
anxiety, because the little liethat feels so big, that keeps
you stuck in these like the, thetasks that are so simple, they
feel so overwhelming.
But I want you to know that onthe other side, there's hope for
you today and I want you tojust know that you are so loved
(27:13):
and so sought after by yourheavenly father.
And if you take what we havetalked about today and you start
to implement this and you takethe word and you analyze and
observe those evil thoughts thatare in your heart, that keeping
you in toxic patterns, you candisrupt them, okay, and so I
just bless you in the name ofJesus and I pray that this was
helpful, and I am now going togo take my babies to their BMX
(27:38):
training, and so I hope you havethe most amazing day.
Share this with a girlfriend ifit was helpful, or leave a
five-star review and let me knowhow this touched you.
You are blessed, you are loved.
Go be transformed and don't beconformed honey.
Go be transformed.
Love you.
I'll talk to you soon.
