Dr. Ali Navidi is a licensed clinical psychologist who uses Clinical Hypnosis and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy to help patients with gastrointestinal (GI) disorders, chronic pain and other complex medical conditions. Dr. Navidi and Jenn discuss the connection between mental health and digestive health and how getting the brain and gut to communicate better can lead to health improvements. Dr. Navidi talks about his work in treating IBS and chronic pain with a combination of CBT and Clinical Hypnosis.
Jenn also shares her personal experiences with grief and how she has navigated it with exercise, therapy and clinical hypnosis. Dr. Navidi shares how clinical hypnosis can turn talk therapy into an experience for patients, that furthers their healing journey.
