Tonight's Black Voters Matter Edition of the Thinking Out Loud we share with you some excerpts of our discussion from Listener Event that took place on last night on our Facebook Fan Page. We had some great discussion as we talked about Kanye West announcing his run for the presidency as well as sharing some of his plans for his campaign. We also shared information about the "When We All Vote" Campaign that was launched by former First Lady Michelle Obama to encourage the American people to go to the polls and exercise their right to vote. We also talked about the Lincoln Project, which is a Conservative Organization that was formed to oust President Trump from the White House, and they have put together some compelling videos as well as website where you can go to find out more information about them. We talk about this group and their potential impact on the November Election during tonight's show.  PLUS, we also share information about our new Thinking Out Loud SWAG Collection, our partnership with Praise FM. Praise FM has been running our commercial the early part of this week as apart of our new partnership with their radio station. We will be sharing more about our partnership in the days and weeks to come. And, we have got another dynamic Thought of the Week designed especially for you to conclude tonight's show. We want to welcome our new Praise FM family to the Thinking Out Loud Radio Show and we hope you enjoy tonight's show.

Ruthie's Table 4

Ruthie's Table 4

For more than 30 years The River Cafe in London, has been the home-from-home of artists, architects, designers, actors, collectors, writers, activists, and politicians. Michael Caine, Glenn Close, JJ Abrams, Steve McQueen, Victoria and David Beckham, and Lily Allen, are just some of the people who love to call The River Cafe home. On River Cafe Table 4, Rogers sits down with her customers—who have become friends—to talk about food memories. Table 4 explores how food impacts every aspect of our lives. “Foods is politics, food is cultural, food is how you express love, food is about your heritage, it defines who you and who you want to be,” says Rogers. Each week, Rogers invites her guest to reminisce about family suppers and first dates, what they cook, how they eat when performing, the restaurants they choose, and what food they seek when they need comfort. And to punctuate each episode of Table 4, guests such as Ralph Fiennes, Emily Blunt, and Alfonso Cuarón, read their favourite recipe from one of the best-selling River Cafe cookbooks. Table 4 itself, is situated near The River Cafe’s open kitchen, close to the bright pink wood-fired oven and next to the glossy yellow pass, where Ruthie oversees the restaurant. You are invited to take a seat at this intimate table and join the conversation.
