Pastor Walt thinks out loud on being a disciple. Churches have a problem with walking their talk … the cure is discipleship. We are on a mission from God … to go forth and make disciples. Discipleship requires shepherding the flock, guiding the flock, training them in the Gospel, raising them up, so they in turn become disciples of Jesus who will then also make more disciples of Jesus. This is not to control others, it’s to educate them and to mentor them in being a disciple. They in turn, will do the same … they will go forth and make disciples.
