On the return trip down the mountain, after some close calls, the group stumbles upon a hollow tree. It leaves a mystery for the boys to look into one day but first Dan Dan the Nature Man feels like it important that they return to camp quickly with what he thinks is a monster on the loose.

Rachel and Chester feel time ticking away as they try to figure out where the missing students went. Luckily Edmund, a Dunnmoore student is brave enough to help out our detectives while also being their intern for the night. This academy may be more haunted than they had originally thought.
A prestigious boarding school, Dunnmoore Academy is running out of time and students. So far three students have gone missing and the Headmaster is worried that if they aren't found before Halloween night is over that they will be lost forever.
