When life piles up fast—schedules, stress, emotions, unfolded laundry—it's easy to overlook how you're still showing up. That's why we created our #4Wins4Yinz framework, a simple tool to help you see progress when everything feels overwhelming. This episode guides you through four essential dimensions of well-being: spiritual (what gave you peace or purpose?), physical (how did you care for your body?), mental (what helped your mind feel clearer?), and connection (who did you meaningfully interact with?). We share our own weekly wins and demonstrate how acknowledging even one small victory can shift your entire mindset.

As James Clear reminds us, tiny wins are foundational—they literally change your nervous system. When you practice noticing what's working, especially on days when it feels like nothing is, you build resilience one small win at a time. You stop waiting for perfect days and start finding the good that's already present.

Whether you're thriving or just surviving right now, this episode offers a moment to reset, reflect, and remind yourself that you're doing better than you think. Because when you notice even one small shift, your whole perspective can transform with it.

Share your wins with us using #FourWinsForYinz on social media or at thrivingyinzers.com/4wins—your victory might inspire someone else to start noticing theirs too. Leave us a rating or review to help us reach more people who need this message of hope and practical resilience.

Let us know how we are doing.

Hey Yinz! It's Sherry and Jodi.

Jodi (00:01):
Today we're taking another few minutes to reset, reflect
and remind you that you're doingbetter than you think.

Sherry (00:07):
We started this segment #4Wins4Yinz because we know life

piles up fast (00:12):
Schedules, stress, emotions, unfolded
laundry and when it does, it'sso easy to overlook the fact
that you're still showing up.

Jodi (00:21):
Yep, even when you feel like you're just barely holding
it together, there are moments, tiny wins, that are helping you
heal, grow and keep going.

Sherry (00:29):
And those moments matter .
They build momentum.
So if today you can only nameone win, that's enough.

Jodi (00:36):
Exactly, so we're coming back to our simple framework
something that helps you seeyour own progress, because when
you notice even one small shift, your whole mindset shifts with
it.

Sherry (00:46):
Spiritual,

Jodi (00:46):
physical,

Sherry (00:47):
mental,

Jodi (00:48):
connection.

Sherry (00:48):
That's your #4Wins4Yinz, because thriving takes all of
you.

Jodi (00:52):
So let's break those down again real quick.

Sherry (00:54):
Spiritual.
What gave you peace or purposetoday?
Maybe it was a prayer, a deepbreath or a song that hit just
right.

Jodi (01:01):
Physical.
How did you care about yourbody, even if it was just
drinking some water or standingup and stretching?

Sherry (01:07):
Mental.
What helped your mind feelclearer or more focused?
It could be journaling.
It could be letting go ofsomething that was weighing you
down.

Jodi (01:15):
And connection who did you connect with, even briefly?
A friend, a stranger, or justshowing up with presence for
someone you care for?

Sherry (01:24):
Here are mine from this week
Spiritual.
Spending some time in nature.
Physical.
I finally scheduled the PT thatI've been putting off.
Mental.
I am sticking to my boundaries.
Connection.
I let someone I care about ventand I just listened and didn't

(01:45):
try to fix it.

Jodi (01:47):
And mine.
Spiritual.
I took a few minutes to sitdown by myself and pray.
Physical.
I've been taking quick walksaround the block when I go into
work.
Mental.
Reminding myself that, eventhough things don't seem like it
, I'm still doing a good job.
Connection.
Decided last minute to havesome friends over for dinner.
Just a quick

Sherry (02:12):
Okay, so now it's your turn.

Ask yourself: What gave me peace or purpose? (02:13):
undefined
How did I care for my body?
What helped my mind?
Who did I connect with?

Jodi (02:21):
And if you only have an answer for one of those today,
that's still a win.
That's how resilience is built.

Sherry (02:26):
We want to hear from yinz, too.
Head to thrivingyinzers.

They change your nervous system, they shift your mindset.

Jodi (02:48):
You stop waiting for a perfect day and you start
finding the good that's alreadyhere.

Sherry (02:53):
So, even if you're not having a good day,

Jodi (02:55):
make it a nicer one.

Sherry (02:56):
Give yourself credit.

Jodi (02:57):
This is it - your moment to notice what's working,
especially on the days when itfeels like everything's not.

Sherry (03:03):
And if this helped shift your mindset or gave you a
little lift, leave us a quickrating or review.

small win at a time.
