Hola familia!

On today's episode Fatua shares space with Jané Ines del Castillo Ramirez, the farmer of the beautiful Amazonian rainforest cacao that Fatua offers through Soul Melody Cacao.

Fatua met Jané in the year 2019, having first tasted her cacao in the Amazon the year prior and knew it was something special. She was blown away by the potency and energy of the cacao, and the powerful woman that Jané is. Jané has an inspired connection with the spirit of cacao and the plants of the forest.

Jané shares about how she began working with cacao & her personal business, how she connects with the plants of the forest, her opinion on cacao ceremonies and cacao being shared around the world, who is the the spirit of cacao, and the various medicinal properties of the cacao tree.

She also shares about her people, the Amahuaca, who come from a region in southern Peru & Brazil, and refer to themselves as the "Capybara" people.

In the episode Fatua and Jané are joined by their friend Juan Zuniga (catch him in prior episodes) who has graciously offered to translate the dialogue into english as Jané speaks Spanish.

CrimeLess: Hillbilly Heist

CrimeLess: Hillbilly Heist

It’s 1996 in rural North Carolina, and an oddball crew makes history when they pull off America’s third largest cash heist. But it’s all downhill from there. Join host Johnny Knoxville as he unspools a wild and woolly tale about a group of regular ‘ol folks who risked it all for a chance at a better life. CrimeLess: Hillbilly Heist answers the question: what would you do with 17.3 million dollars? The answer includes diamond rings, mansions, velvet Elvis paintings, plus a run for the border, murder-for-hire-plots, and FBI busts.
