This Mystical Life welcomes back Juan Zuniga, director of Novalis, a center for preserving the rainforest and indigenous culture in the Amazon, for a discussion on the mysterious world of brujería (sorcery/witchcraft) in the jungle.
Juan & Fatua discuss a side of the Amazon that is more hidden to the outside world, the world of love spells, brujería, and energetic & psychic attacks.
Although brujería is practiced around the world, varies depending on the culture, and can be used for healing or harming, today our discussion explores more of the disturbances that can be caused by it in the jungle, and serve as a reminder for those that traverse the medicine lands to always have attuned awareness to their environment.
Another important highlight of today's talk is about ayahuasca and the various additives that are being added to the medicine worldwide. Certain additives may enhance the overall experience, and by adding other plants, the messages a passenger thinks they are receiving from ayahuasca, may not be from her at all. Juan & Fatua discuss why this is inauthentic and potentially harmful.
