After enduring an utterly gruelling battle with the Whip-Poor-Will, leaving some characters more dead than they realised, our heroes now face their final challenge. They have their answers, they've pooled all their resources, now all that's left is to face Mathers head on

We leave the confines of the Hotel Amarant behind, heading off in search of a nightclub-cum-jazz-lounge, whose patrons may be able to help answer the mounting questions this crew has. As relative unknowns, they believe they have the element of surprise... but plans have a tendency of going awry in Mavros, leaving one of the party facing a flowery end, and at least one other staring down the barrel of their own sanity... ...

The Hotel Amarant is of of the most ancient and magical hotels in Mavros. And what is a hotel with a halfling concierge with a great handlebar moustache? We begin this episode following in the footsteps of one Nelson Ganymede, who's dealing with the regular duties of hotel management: scheduling, customer service, vanquishing elder gods tainting the staff. You know, standard procedure... until the Hotel decides it isn't.

As the players explore the Gloaming further, all is not well within the party Hecatae and Shadow vie for control of Duncan's body, Angela tries to reconcile with her past, and as Bilwop faces the helplessness of Happy's decisions. And among all that chaos, a new player enters the game... in search of a hot dog.

Let us step back from The Lowers of Mavros and focus on the Uppers, to Fortuna specifically. A beautiful reprieve from the darkness the the darkness below, though there is still pain found here... and it is the worst kind of all... heartbreak. Disharmony rocks this pristine echelon, in a way that will only have consequences for all those beneath them. As Hecatae and Shadow vie for control of Duncan's body, as Angela tries ...

The group moves closer to the answer they all seek, but with every move forward comes a step backwards. Though this particular step lands the group in more trouble than they'd ever hope they'd find. If only they had the Strength to continue...

A party of 4 becomes a party of 3... but luckily for them, a familiar face lurks right around the corner, one that Mavros knows all too well...
