Have you ever stopped to ponder what puts the 'gamer' in 'gaming enthusiast'? We've all been there, controller in hand, eyes glued to the screen, heart racing with every achievement unlocked. Join us as we embark on a spirited journey through the essence of gaming identity. From the heart-pounding narratives of story modes to the relentless pursuit of platinum trophies, we've covered it all. Hannah, our resident 'platinum gamer,' opens up about her transformative adventures with "Spider-Man 2" and "Miles Morales," and we muse over the possibility of iconic characters like Nathan Drake stepping out of their usual realms into alternate gaming universes.

Remember the feeling of camaraderie during a late-night gaming session with friends? We do! This episode is a love letter to that shared experience, as we traverse the highs of cooperative play in games like Helldivers. We weave tales of emotional depth in RPGs such as "Dragon Age."  let's not forget the classics; a nod to "Knights of the Old Republic" reminds us of the timeless magic of gaming.

We wrap up with a touch of nostalgia, a hint of frustration, and a commitment to keeping it family-friendly. Dive into memories of "Star Wars: Battlefront 2," laugh with us over the quirks of family gaming, and feel the sting of dealing with a corrupted "Modern Warfare 3" disc. As always, we're here to connect with you, our fellow gaming aficionados. Tune in for heartfelt confessions, playful banter, and a sincere thank you for being part of the Two Geeks Chatting family. Until next time, keep those consoles humming and the joy of gaming alive.

Speaker 1 (00:00):
What is up guys?
Welcome to 3 Geeks Chatting.
I'm Nicholas.

Speaker 2 (00:08):
I'm Stacey, I'm.

Speaker 1 (00:09):
Hannah, and today we are discussing the topic.

Speaker 2 (00:14):
What Makes you a Gamer?

Speaker 1 (00:15):
What Makes you a Gamer.
So let's go ahead and jumpright in okay, my notebook over
here.

Speaker 2 (00:30):
So what makes you a gamer?
For me it is, oh, never mind.
Is it the story mode, or areyou a trophy hunter for?

Speaker 1 (00:34):
me, it's both.
She has like this entire.
She has like a notebook thatshe's just been writing in.

Speaker 2 (00:39):
I do for this episode , yes um, I like a good
storyline and then I also liketo get the trophies in the
storyline, because it just makesthe game that much better if
you, if you listen to our uhintro, episode zero, where we
introduced ourselves, we talked,we, we touched on that.

Speaker 1 (00:56):
Uh, hannah is a platinum gamer.
Where she goes in and she wantsto platinum a%.
Her games get every achievementpossible.
But she also does a lot ofstory games too.

Speaker 2 (01:07):
I did not used to be, and then I did one, which was
Spider-Man 2.
And that changed my wholeperspective on the Platinum's
trophies.

Speaker 1 (01:16):
Spider-Man 2 is a good game.

Speaker 2 (01:18):
To Platinum.
It is really good and it didn'ttake too long.
It took me about 38 hours.
Miles Morales only took me 15.
Really yeah, and I started itfrom the beginning.

Speaker 1 (01:26):
I don't think I've ever platinumed a game.

Speaker 2 (01:29):
Well, getting the platinum in the game just makes
the game I feel like that muchbetter.
It doesn't add no more contentto the game, but it makes it go
longer and you find more stuffthat you didn't know that was in
there.
So like, for an example, in theLast of Us you can find the
engraved ring.
Last of Us, part 2, I believeyou find the engraved ring from

(01:54):
the Uncharted series.

Speaker 1 (01:56):
Really.

Speaker 2 (01:57):
Mm-hmm, so it brings more to the game.

Speaker 1 (02:00):
So does that mean?
Would that mean that the Lastof Us is in the same universe as
Uncharted?
Probably Do you think NathanDrake would survive in the Last
of Us.

Speaker 2 (02:10):
I think he would.
You think he would?
Yeah, because he's prettycutthroat in his games himself
and he's going against actualhuman beings.

Speaker 1 (02:19):
I mean, Joel was a construction worker.
Right, I look how well he did.
I mean up until part two.

Speaker 2 (02:27):
Makes me so sad.

Speaker 1 (02:29):
I haven't played part two.

Speaker 2 (02:31):
I haven't played any of it.
I have not beat the part two.
I don't know if I want to gothrough and just finish the
story mode because I'm halfwaythrough it, or just delete it
and start all over because I'mgoing to platinum it.
So I don't know what I want todo.
It's definitely more of achallenge to Platinum.

Speaker 1 (02:50):
Some of them are just hard.
There's one game that you haveto have your character.
It takes 10 years to get theachievement Real life years, I
think.
I don't remember what the gameis, but your character, pretty
much, is stuck in a certain spotand you have to leave them

(03:14):
there for 10 years.

Speaker 3 (03:16):
Oh, I could do that one.

Speaker 2 (03:19):
When I say it adds more to the game.
I beat the first Last of Us.
It was either 15 or 16 hours.
When you saw over to thePlatinum, I beat the first last
of us.
It was either 15 or 16 hours.
When you start over to theplatinum.
I looked into it and I guess alot of it probably determined
the player.
It took it's like 60 hours justto complete um, but you got to
go through and you know some ofthe objectives just take a while

(03:40):
and you can't chapter so oftenthat one.
So that can be why that wouldtake so long yeah but even like
call of duty, you gotta put it,play it on veteran mode.
So that's, that's gonna takesome time.
Even though you can chapterselect, it's gonna take some
time.
I don't always go for thetrophy.
Sometimes I just like to sitback and kind of just relax and
play call of duty, especiallyzombie modes zombie modes are

(04:02):
always good it stresses me out alittle bit especially the new
one.

Speaker 1 (04:07):
Your zombie mode's terrifying.
Oh, because you actually likehave to unlock your stuff.

Speaker 2 (04:12):
You have to find it every time you die, if you die
you lose, it's just, and thenyou get like wads of zombies
around you.
It's not too bad if you're inthe light zone medium but when
you get in the red zone, Ihaven't even touched the red
zone.

Speaker 1 (04:26):
It's terrible.

Speaker 2 (04:27):
I lost all my stuff doing this bag signal challenge.
It was me and two other guysand I told him I didn't want to
lose my stuff and he's like, nah, we won't.
I was like, okay, he was likelevel 900 and something prestige
or whatever.
We lost him.

(04:48):
So I went back in and I thoughtit would be a good idea.

Speaker 1 (04:50):
I put a tombstone, I popped a tombstone, um a
tombstone for anyone who doesn'tknow it allows you to get your
back.

Speaker 2 (04:57):
So I went to the graveyard, found my tombstone,
got all of it and, like youdon't get everything you had,
you just get, get your money andyour perks and stuff, but you
don't get your guns, your largebackpack or anything like that.
So basically you're just goingback for your money and some
perks.
I had a crap ton of moneybecause some other players came

(05:19):
and helped us out and revived usand dropped me a lot of money.
So I picked it all up and Ithought it would be a good idea
to get in a car and drivestraight to the red zone with
nothing to buy all my stuff back.

Speaker 3 (05:34):
Oh.

Speaker 2 (05:35):
I died, we all died, and I lost all my money and I
bought it and then I lost itagain.

Speaker 1 (05:44):
That's what happens with all of Duty Zombies now.

Speaker 2 (05:47):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (05:48):
Fun game, I mean, I don't know.
It's very similar to whatHelldivers is doing for anyone
wondering.

Speaker 2 (05:55):
I do recommend playing it with friends, because
I feel like it makes it thatmuch better.

Speaker 1 (06:00):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (06:00):
Or get in the regular game chat and just Add random
people.

Speaker 1 (06:06):
Yeah, just scream at people.

Speaker 2 (06:08):
I do sometimes and they respond Save me, was it
with you?
When I text in there, comerevive me.
And they're like where are you.

Speaker 1 (06:21):
We sat there for 15 minutes Dead and we finally got
revived and I think we Likewhere are you?
We sat there for 15 minutesdead and we finally got revived.
And I think we no, we got.

Speaker 2 (06:31):
We did, but it's not from the same people that asked
where we was.

Speaker 1 (06:34):
Yeah, we extracted that time, yeah.

Speaker 2 (06:37):
Because when I die I refuse to leave.
Like I will sit there untilsomeone comes and revives me.
But I chat in there.
I'm like please don't get me.
So when I'm just sitting downplaying for fun, it's almost
kind of like a stress relieverto me.
Just kind of forget about theday you had and just enjoy
playing video games.
If it's a good game, it'salmost like if it's a good
storyline game, it's almost likeyou're watching a movie, but

(06:59):
you're like the main characterabout the thing you said with
the.

Speaker 1 (07:02):
It's like watching a movie.
When I was in school this waslike elementary, you know.
I'm like fourth, fifth grade, you know.
I'm talking like this because Ihaven't gone through puberty
yet and I remember everyone waslike why do you play video games
?
I'm not going to talk like thatthe entire time.
But they would ask me why do Iplay video games?

(07:24):
I was like, why do you readbooks?
You know, I thought this was areally smart answer for being
like fourth, fifth grade.
Like why do you read books?
Because you're in a story, you're being able to imagine all
of this Like I'm doing the samething.
I'm playing one.
I feel like I'm moreinteractive than you are.

Speaker 2 (07:47):
You're imagining it, I'm making it.
I mean it is it gets goodenough that you just you're
engrossed.
Oh yeah, man, and you just likewant to finish it some.

Speaker 1 (07:51):
You get some good ones too.
You get some good stuff you dostorylines.

Speaker 2 (07:57):
I'm a big storyline fan.
I play a lot of storylines.

Speaker 1 (08:01):
I underestimated a lego game for the platinum so I
will not ever do that again, you'd be surprised on what some
games want you to do.
Some of them be the easiestthing ever.
And then there's that onemission, there's that one
achievement that you need toplatinum.
That's like kill 500 000 legLegos what?

(08:25):
That's not an actual thing.
This is an example.

Speaker 2 (08:28):
Yeah, so like crazy a trophy in Call of Duty modern
warfare 3, I have to kill 50,000zombies, whoo.
So you gonna be sitting there awhile Till you get that done.

Speaker 1 (08:41):
What about gaming to you?

Speaker 2 (08:43):
Yeah, why do you like to game?

Speaker 3 (08:46):
I like stories.
I like to do the RPG ones, likemy favorite one is called
Dragon Age and I like all ofthose.
There's three of them.
They've got progressivelybetter and better, and then also
my first one was NaiselRepublic.

Speaker 1 (09:05):
That's a good game.

Speaker 3 (09:06):
Which I have played many, many times.
I my first one was Nice Little.

Speaker 1 (09:09):
Republic.
That's a good game which I haveplayed many, many times.
I really missed that one.
That's a solid game.
I went back and looked at itpast two years and it still
holds up.
You'd be surprised.

Speaker 2 (09:19):
I need to try that one.

Speaker 3 (09:20):
I've never tried it.

Speaker 1 (09:21):
Really.

Speaker 3 (09:22):
I'm supposed to be redoing it like remastering it.
What do you play it?

Speaker 1 (09:25):
on PC.

Speaker 3 (09:27):
I had it on Xbox the original Xbox so I could get it
on mine.

Speaker 1 (09:31):
Should be able to yeah Should be able to.

Speaker 2 (09:33):
I like my Xbox and there's games on there that I
want to play, but I'm in thisplatinum phase and it really
makes me mad that you can'tplatinum on the xbox you don't
get platinum stuff, but you canstill complete all the
achievements yeah, I know, but Idon't get anything.
I mean, that's true, you don'tget and you don't see the nice,

(09:54):
beautiful trophy that shows upin the corner that you put blood
, sweat and tears into and itdoesn't show up on anything like
you can get on my profile rightnow.
See how many many trophies Ihave.
I have like 337, something likethat.
Altogether.
Um, it's not that many, but Ihad more since I started my
trophy.
I got a lot more since Istarted my trophy hunt.

Speaker 3 (10:16):
Since last year I've advanced 74 levels in my
trophies you should probably geta trophy for having to restart
the game because you had to doother real life stuff for so
long that you absolutely cannotremember how to play the game.

Speaker 1 (10:30):
Didn't you do that with God of War?

Speaker 3 (10:32):
recently.
Yeah, I gotta redo that again.
Have you beat Ragnarok yet?

Speaker 1 (10:38):
Have you beat the first one?

Speaker 3 (10:41):
I think I beat the first one.
I beat the original ones.
I haven't beat the newest one.
Kratos is older.

Speaker 1 (10:47):
I beat the ones where Kratos is young, the Norse
mythology, one she hasn't done.

Speaker 2 (10:53):
I love Kratos.
I have it on my list ofPlatinum God of War and then
Ragnarok and apparently Iwatched some videos on it and
you have to go through all ninerealms and beat I guess I don't
remember what they were called, but the main guys in the nine
realms, the Valkyrie.
Yeah, it is the Valkyries.

Speaker 1 (11:13):
You have to kill all nine Valkyries in each realm.
I also like that.
You can play any style you want.
Oh yeah, especially thoseopen-world ones like Grand Theft
Auto.

Speaker 2 (11:25):
Yeah, we need to play that.

Speaker 1 (11:26):
Grand Theft Auto 5.
I got that on my PC.
I got that on every system.

Speaker 2 (11:32):
Nick's like download it on your Xbox and we'll play.
And I forgot, the game's gone,dust.

Speaker 3 (11:39):
Yeah, I'm not good at racing games.

Speaker 1 (11:41):
Grand Theft Auto's not.

Speaker 3 (11:42):
Yeah, it's Grand Theft Auto.
There's literally cars in it.

Speaker 1 (11:46):
Yeah, but it's not a racing game, it's more of a
shooter.

Speaker 3 (11:49):
I'm not good at driving vehicles in games period
because I try to play theBatman game Malcolm Knight, yeah
where you're having to do allthis stuff because the railer's
sitting there taunting you thewhole time and my friend let me
play it on his because I didn'thave it yet and he's laughing
his butt off at me because I amcrashing the Batmobile into the

(12:12):
wall so much and I'm like BruceWayne's got insurance and about
the 15th time I'm'm like justget me out of this tunnel.
I have gotten motion sicknessor like claustrophobia from
those Batman games so I'm reallycareful with those.

Speaker 1 (12:28):
I got stuck in some duct work so, okay, you guys had
mentioned your guys' favoritegames.
Hannah was the last of us top.
Top tier stacy was uh, this isdragon uh, dragon age games.
Uh, which funny story.
I feel really bad about this.

(12:49):
Still, when I was in uh, sixthor seventh grade and dragon uh,
dragon age came out for thefirst time the first one, my
friend had a Mass Effect code, but he had no online.
He didn't have online access toredeem the Mass Effect armor,
and so I convinced him.

(13:10):
I convinced him to give it tome and I redeemed it for myself,
and then, a week later, becauseit expired in two weeks, a week
later he got internet and couldhave redeemed it, but I had
already redeemed it.
I still feel bad about it.
I was an awful friend when Iwas in middle school.

Speaker 3 (13:31):
You should probably send him a gift card.

Speaker 1 (13:34):
Send him a gift card, sorry for redeeming Mass Effect
, armor and Dragon Age.
Was he mad at you?
No, because he's the one whogave it to me.
But the reason I feel bad isbecause I feel like I had
manipulated him into giving itto me, gotcha, and that's why I
feel bad.
I think because I was like man, look, it's just going to go to
waste.
You don't have internet.

(13:54):
Are you going to get it anytimesoon?
I don a waste.
You don't have internet.
Are you gonna get it anytimesoon?
I don't remember the fullconversation, but that's kind of
how I imagined.
I was like I wasn't thegreatest friend and uh sorry, I
sucked as a friend.
I made some of my friends cryby accident.
I was a mean.
I was a mean child.
It wasn't like on purpose.

(14:15):
The other another was like we'dget rowdy and I would
accidentally get a little toorough.
I was a big guy.
I mean, out of all my friends,I've always been like 100 pounds
more than them, so it was allaccidental.
I mean, I'm like I'm six four.
You know, I weigh 280 poundsright now.
I will say, though, my so Lastof Us.

(14:38):
Dragon Age, my favorite game.

Speaker 2 (14:42):
I'm gonna guess go for it.

Speaker 1 (14:45):
Kingdom Hearts my favorite game is Kingdom Hearts
the most proudest items that Ihave, the things that I love the
most in this house, besides mywife and my cats.
Might I asterisk that?

(15:05):
My wife and my cats.
You know I love them the most, but the most my favorite items
in this house besides my weddingring and anything wedding that
might put my foot in my mouth.

Speaker 3 (15:16):
He doesn't wear his wedding ring very often I can't
wear it to work.

Speaker 1 (15:23):
I forgot to put it on .
I forgot to put my name on.
I have keyblades.
I have keyblades hanging up inmy living room.
Do you know how cool that is tome?

Speaker 3 (15:37):
You'd have four if you buy some more of those
things.

Speaker 1 (15:40):
Yeah, I gotta get more hooks and hang them all up.

Speaker 3 (15:43):
We have lightsabers hanging up too.

Speaker 1 (15:45):
Yeah, but the Keyblades are cooler, in my
opinion.
Blasphemy.
Yeah, you're blasphemy.

Speaker 2 (15:53):
I might one of these dates.

Speaker 3 (15:55):
See, now he owes me a gift card.

Speaker 1 (15:59):
If I owed everyone a gift card, for me saying
something mean I would be poorand I would have to sell my
house.

Speaker 2 (16:04):
You got me gift cards .
Does that sign?

Speaker 1 (16:08):
No, that just means I like you.
Okay, I bought you a gift card.

Speaker 3 (16:15):
You're watching our kittens?

Speaker 2 (16:16):
I know, I just wanted to make sure you were watching
our kittens.
I know I was just, you know, just wanted to make sure you
know.

Speaker 1 (16:22):
You and my brother.
I just randomly buy stuff forthat's true Without a reason,
Like I don't know.
I mean, I buy you stuff too,but you don't really count
because you're my wife.

Speaker 2 (16:35):
One of these days, maybe because you're my wife One
of these days, maybe I'll thinkabout it I might add Kingdom
Hearts to my platinum list.

Speaker 1 (16:42):
It'd be a rough one, it would.

Speaker 2 (16:43):
It really would.
That's why I still think aboutit.

Speaker 1 (16:45):
Especially the first one.
The first one is insane.
After you beat the game orfinish Worlds, if you go back at
a certain point you find morebosses and they're 10 times
harder and they're known to bechallenging.

(17:08):
Kingdom hearts is like if you,if you know what demon souls is
or dark souls, kingdom heartsrivals that, in my opinion.
I I've never played Demon'sSouls.
Dark Souls 1 was pretty rough, but I think Kingdom Hearts is
kind of like the equivalence ofDark Souls, maybe Dark Souls 2.

(17:29):
Demon's Souls and Dark Soulsare two of the harder Souls
games.
Maybe Dark Souls 2.
It would rival because they geteasier as you go on.

Speaker 2 (17:38):
In my opinion, what makes this not my top?
It's still the game, it's justnot my top is it doesn't tell
you anything yeah, I know.

Speaker 1 (17:51):
So how am I supposed to know what the creator wanted
me to do so the way it works youknow know what I'm saying the
first one's really Beat it withthe cheat.

Speaker 2 (18:00):
Yeah, I feel like a cheater because I have to Google
Guide and that's not how you'resupposed to get through a game.

Speaker 1 (18:06):
The first one's really bad.
I Google stuff all the time.

Speaker 2 (18:10):
I'll sit there for hours and then I'll be like I
just gotta Google.

Speaker 1 (18:13):
The first one's really bad with that.
The first one's really bad withthat.
In my opinion, However, it'sworth it, Especially Alice in
Wonderland.
Alice in Wonderland was.
I can't even.
Did you ever get Pinocchio?
No, I'm still on Alice inWonderland Okay, pinocchio.
So Alice in Wonderland's not asbad as Pinocchio, it's my least
.
Favorite world Is the whale.

(18:34):
The giant space whale that eatsyou in that game.

Speaker 2 (18:41):
Like I could at least you know every once in a while
maybe get hints or like a normalgame, make conversation and
kind of throw hints in as you go, like I think there should just
be a little direction.

Speaker 1 (18:55):
I think.
So one of the things you reallygot to watch for that game is
what they tell you in thecutscenes, or where the
characters walk off in thecutscene.
When one of the charactersleave in the cutscene, you see
where the direction they go.
Go that direction, becausethey'll continue.

(19:18):
That's pretty much the only hitI can really give.
It's been a while since Iplayed the first one.
Um, my favorite kingdom heartsone out of all of them is the
second one because it has thelongest prologue.
The prologue to the first oneis like I think it took me like
three hours to beat before itgot into the main game, but it

(19:39):
was such a good pro, like thestory that the prologue is
telling you is so good and Iwon't spoil it for you, but it's
not.
It's one of those where it getsand if you haven't played
kingdom hearts you need to go,you need to try it or watch it.
You can watch people play it.
I mean it is still a huge game.
There's so many of them.

(20:00):
I'm not saying to play all ofthem, uh, but the first, second
ones are worth playing, uh forsure, and I don't really care if
you play the rest of them, justwatch them.
Watch the cut scenes.
I don't know first, second andthird ones, though are
phenomenal.

Speaker 2 (20:16):
if you don't want to play a game that has no
instructions and you're not sureabout it.
I would probably watch thevideo first, because I bought
the whole bundle and I boughtthem all and I'm still on the
first one.

Speaker 1 (20:30):
They're like 50 to 60-hour games.
Some of them reach 72 hours.
In the bundles you got youcan't play all of them.
Some of them you can only watchthe cutscenes to.
Because these games came out along time ago.
They still come out.

(20:50):
They started in the 2000s.
Kingdom Hearts is the reason Ibecame so obsessed with video
games.
Kingdom Hearts was the gamethat got me to be a gamer.

Speaker 2 (21:04):
You're 22 years old.
Last year I came out.
I was born 2002.

Speaker 3 (21:10):
It was the first Kingdom Hearts game.

Speaker 1 (21:15):
That's the day Hannah came out.
She was released.
That's the year she wasreleased.
I um.
So Kingdom Hearts.
And then you got the you know.5.
That's the year she wasreleased.
I um Okay.

Speaker 3 (21:25):
So Kingdom Hearts and then you got the you know .5.
There's just so many.
They reduced so many different, which I mean it's a good game.
I really do enjoy KingdomHearts because I played it.
I don't know if I finished it.
It's probably one of those.
I get the little title of needsto replay from the beginning
because I got busy.

Speaker 1 (21:42):
The way the games work, if you don't know, is you
have all the games that werereleased.
Then they came out and they didKingdom Hearts 1.5, 2.5, and
then 2.8.
And the reasons they did thatis so they could release all of
the games that have ever beenmade into three discs.

(22:03):
Each disc has three games on it.
2.8 has one game that hadn'tbeen released.
It was brand new.
They had a mobile phone appthat was actually canon to the
world.
There's a lot of good stuff withKingdom Hearts.
Definitely recommend lookinginto it to see if it's a lot of

(22:23):
good stuff with kingdom hearts.
Definitely recommend lookinginto it to see what's your type
of game.
It is an rpg type style where,uh, you don't get to choose what
you say or nothing like that, but you do have stats and you
equip things and you have xpstuff like that.
You have levels.
What makes you a gamer?
The reason, what made me agamer, what makes me a gamer?
What makes you a gamer?
The reason, what made me agamer.
What makes me a gamer is goinginto these games, especially

(22:46):
space games like Kingdom Hearts,is the wonder of escaping
reality, and the older I got,the more I realized I want to
escape reality, so I love thesegames Still do.

Speaker 2 (23:01):
I started on Best of my Memory, on Battlefront 2 for
the PlayStation 2.

Speaker 1 (23:12):
Oh.

Speaker 2 (23:13):
That's a good one, good game, one of my favorites.
Then it jumped to the Wii andbecause our PlayStation broke,
and then we got a 4, and we gotit with the Uncharted these In
bundle Solid game, good, goodgame, never played the Uncharted

(23:36):
games.

Speaker 1 (23:36):
I played the first one.
Never beat it.

Speaker 2 (23:39):
So the first one I have every.
I have all the Uncharted games, except for the one on the vita,
because I don't have the vitabut I have no one has the vita,
no more.
No, but I have not want togoogle these.
Make sure I'm telling you theright order drake's.
Let me see if I can get thisdrake's fortune among thieves.
There's a second one.

(24:00):
If I can get these first three,I know I got it.
So Drake's Fortune Second AmongThieves, drake's Deception, yep
, and then I'm blocking it.
I'm not looking, I'm blockingit.
Then we have Thieves.
End the fourth one.

Speaker 1 (24:15):
Are you skipping the Vitas?

Speaker 2 (24:17):
Yes, I don't have the Vitas, so I don't know.
I was going to say so.
Atheism and then Lost Legacy.
Yep, Did you do this one onAndroid?

Speaker 1 (24:27):
Yeah, Fortune Hunter on Android.

Speaker 3 (24:29):
No, yeah, it's right before Lost Legacy.

Speaker 2 (24:33):
So I never played the Vita or the one, so we started
with Atheism.
That's the first Uncharted gamewe started with Really.
Yeah, because it came with thebundle.

Speaker 1 (24:45):
Oh yeah.

Speaker 2 (24:46):
And I remember sitting there watching my
brother play it and we just satthere and watched because it has
a storyline.
It was very good.
So then Lost Legacy came out.
He didn't want to play it forsome reason.
He told me I could play it.
So I played it and really goodgame.
So we went back and got theother three.
I'm not as big a fan as theolder ones, as a newer one and

(25:10):
it could, just because I startedout with the new one, I don't
know, but all of them areactually really good games.

Speaker 1 (25:16):
I remember the original Modern Warfare 3.
Got it for Christmas.
I was so pumped to get on it.
Popped it in my Xbox.
I'm like, ah, it's gotta begreat.
There's no wait time, becauseyou don't have to install
everything at this point in mylife like they do now.
And I remember sitting down hadmy controller in my hands.

(25:38):
I'm like I'm gonna do this,it's gonna be phenomenal.
Because I was still a smallchild who hadn't gone through
puberty Again, still haven't.

Speaker 3 (25:48):
Why are you talking about your puberty?

Speaker 1 (25:50):
I don't know, because that's why I had a high-pitched
voice.
I mean, I don't know, I have apretty high-pitched voice
anyways.
But so I'm holding thecontroller like, yeah, let's do
this.
I popped it in, I clicked onthe game and the game was messed
up.
Back then you could get faileddisks, where the disks were

(26:11):
corrupted from creation and theywouldn't work.
And I had to wait an additionalweek because it took 30 minutes
to get anywhere and the nearestGameStop was 30 minutes away
and my mom and dad were like Idon't want to drive up there as
an adult.
I'm like I don't blame you.
I probably still would have asan adult if.
I got a new game and it didn'twork.

(26:31):
I would probably drive those 30minutes.

Speaker 2 (26:34):
I would, I'd be mad.

Speaker 1 (26:37):
But I was like I don't know how old I was when
that game released.
I was young.

Speaker 2 (26:42):
I was playing Destiny with my cousin today and I kept
losing her.
She's like where'd you go?
She's like you're running sofast.
I'm like sorry.

Speaker 1 (26:52):
Go faster.

Speaker 2 (26:52):
I was like pick the pace up.

Speaker 1 (26:57):
Gotta go fast and we're cancelled, and we're
cancelled, alright.

Speaker 2 (27:06):
See when I play with you or something.
We're canceled, all right, yeah, so let's see when I play with
you or something you know.

Speaker 1 (27:08):
We're always right there together.
I don't.
That's where I lose you, andI'm usually running around the
map.

Speaker 2 (27:13):
That happens yeah, he's like where are you?
And I'm like I don't know.
I'm over here doing this withthis arrow.
There's a wall, where are you?
He's like I can't get throughand I'm like there you are.
Every time I play Destiny, though, I will always want sushi
.

Speaker 1 (27:31):
Sushi all the time, all the time.
I always want sushi anyways.
She loves sushi, I know, butyou want to go get sushi?
After this yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah yeah.

Speaker 3 (27:41):
Yeah, yeah, let's go to that new place.
Yeah, have you been there?

Speaker 1 (27:43):
No, what do you think ?
Yeah, she did.
I like to keep things PG.
She broke my PG rule, so now Itry to keep things PG-13.

Speaker 3 (27:54):
The ghost came out of nowhere.
I almost did today.

Speaker 1 (27:57):
Broke PG rule.

Speaker 3 (28:00):
Oh, my lordy, I'm so sorry.

Speaker 2 (28:04):
We're breaking the PG rules I was getting mad.

Speaker 1 (28:08):
This podcast is PG-13 .

Speaker 3 (28:10):
We didn't break it on here.

Speaker 1 (28:12):
Not yet.

Speaker 3 (28:14):
I mean I, can you want me to try?

Speaker 1 (28:16):
I don't care, shoot dang it.
There it goes.
Okay, guess we're going rated Rman was saying shoot dang it on
podcast.
I'm awful.
Okay, guess we're going rightat.
R man was saying shoot dang iton podcast.

Speaker 3 (28:27):
Uh-huh, I'm awful.

Speaker 1 (28:27):
Gosh.

Speaker 3 (28:28):
No children on this podcast.

Speaker 1 (28:29):
Frick, I'm sorry, fricking, I should have said
that, oh man.
No sushi for you mister, theregoes my Minecraft server.
I'm going to get kicked off ofit, gosh.

Speaker 3 (28:41):
Thanks.
Where'd you learn that word,timmy?
I learned it from Three GeeksGaming.

Speaker 1 (28:48):
Three Geeks Channing Two Geeks Gaming on Twitch
though.

Speaker 3 (28:53):
Sorry, what do?

Speaker 1 (28:55):
you got?
You got anything else for thetopic?

Speaker 2 (28:57):
Nope, other than if you guys have any more thoughts.

Speaker 3 (29:01):
I'm not a video game gamer.
I do play more thoughts.
I mean I'm not a video gamegamer, I do play video games.
I enjoy video games.
Like I said, I get busy ifthey're too long.

Speaker 1 (29:10):
She likes to watch them more than play them.

Speaker 3 (29:12):
I love watching Markiplier and Jack and
everybody, and so I like playingthem.
But I can't play them all theway through because then life
happens or I'm watching him playit because he's playing the
same time as me.
And then it's so long I don'tremember how to play or what I'm
doing in this room, like why amI in this room with all these

(29:34):
magical artifacts?
Like what am I supposed to dowith them?

Speaker 1 (29:38):
Baldur's Gate 3 is a good example.
I need to finish Baldur's Gate.

Speaker 3 (29:41):
Boulder's Gate 3 is a good example I've had to.
I need to finish Boulder's Gate.
I hated this one spot.
I'm like please just get me outof this cave.
I hate it, Get me out of it.
And I still haven't gone backand played it.
You know what I hate?

Speaker 2 (29:52):
The Alone Mission and Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2.

Speaker 1 (29:57):
I don't know what.
So, because you didn't play theoriginal, I don't know what the
alone mission was for you.
The alone mission for me wasyour sniper in a field trying to
get away after you shot someone.
It didn't kill him, it was likethis leader of the terrorist
group and you're trying toescape from them in the field
and there's just you and anotherperson and it's one of the.

(30:19):
It's one of the tediousmissions because you got to
stealth a lot of it and it'srough.

Speaker 2 (30:28):
So for me I'll make it ten times worse.
You get shot, I think in thearm, and you have no gun and you
get thrown into this town Idon't remember what it was
called and you got a bunch ofpeople that are looking for you,
surrounded, and you have tosneak through this whole entire

(30:54):
city, like across the map, andget out.
You can be seen.
You got to find weapons and yougot to kind of throw bottles
different directions to you findand you can eventually run
across the gun and pick it up.
But when you fire it, look out, because they all know where
you're at.
To get a trophy in that youhave to do it and not fire one

(31:15):
bullet.
So I haven't got the trophy inthat yet.

Speaker 1 (31:21):
I would love to do that mission, just to try it.

Speaker 2 (31:24):
I haven't Come over and do it.

Speaker 1 (31:26):
Yeah, I'll try it Because it's ridiculous.

Speaker 2 (31:27):
I hate it.
I got almost done.
I was in the creek swimmingwhere I needed to go Crying.
I was so happy I wasn't reallycrying Almost.

Speaker 1 (31:35):
She was probably close.

Speaker 2 (31:37):
I was close I'm talking an hour to fall on this
one mission.
My game glitches and I getstuck Half way out the creep and
I can't get out of it.
So I literally had to abandonthe mission and start it all
over, and now I regret everhaving to go back and play that

(32:01):
again.

Speaker 1 (32:02):
And I know I'm going to have to and I already regret
it and I can't even shoot.

Speaker 2 (32:06):
It's so hard, it's dark, it's black, it's generally
sea.

Speaker 1 (32:11):
I'm going to hate it.

Speaker 2 (32:12):
It's terrible.
The entirety of missions ofCall of Duty.
That was my least favorite.

Speaker 1 (32:18):
Man, that one sounds worse than the one I'm talking
about.
I would rather be on a fieldwith a sniper than sneaking
through a city At least you cansee in the one I'm talking about
it's not nighttime, it's justlike a cloudy day.

Speaker 2 (32:34):
I'm all for stealth because I can do pretty good
stealth, but I mean every timeyou turn around someone's seeing
you right there and you need togo that direction, and you
can't.
I mean you time you turn aroundsomeone's standing right there
and you need to go thatdirection, and you can't.
I mean you can run around, youcan find a knife and run around
and take them out with knives.
It's just a lot harder.

Speaker 3 (32:50):
I love that game.
Splinter Cell for stealth stuff.

Speaker 1 (32:54):
Oh, that was a good one.

Speaker 3 (32:55):
I love Splinter Cell, yeah, and also Stealth and
Batman.

Speaker 1 (32:59):
Stealth and Batman's pretty good too, and Batman
Stealth and Batman's pretty goodtoo.

Speaker 2 (33:02):
I feel like, if you're playing Batman, it just
has to be stealth.

Speaker 3 (33:05):
Sit there and just stand on top of a gargoyle and
wait for the thing to just dropdown and take him up, and then
just Well, guys got anythingelse you want to add?

Speaker 2 (33:14):
Nope.

Speaker 1 (33:15):
Nope.
Well, you guys think you guyswant to plug any of your content
where you guys create stuff.
