Some nudges are gentle. Others feel like a whisper you can’t ignore. For Caren Carnegie, it started with a whisper in her body - symptoms, discomfort, stuckness.

But instead of pushing it down or muscling through (like we’re taught to do), she got curious. That quiet pull led her to movement… then to healing… then to a complete soul-led transformation.

In this episode of Thrive After 45, Caren opens up about her journey from daily drinking and disconnection to becoming a deeply intuitive momentum coach, psychic channeler, and founder of Transform Fitness Coaching. What began as a personal training journey turned into something much more sacred ... an embodied path back home to herself.

This conversation is so much more than fitness talk ... it’s about the language of the body, the power of listening before you're forced to, and how transformation doesn’t have to be fast or flashy to be real and lasting.

We talk about letting go of pressure, shifting comparison culture, tuning into the energy that’s always been guiding you, and what it really means to come alive from the inside out.

You’ll hear us unpack:

✨ How movement unlocks memory, intuition, and purpose
✨ The connection between physical symptoms and spiritual messages
✨ Why healing doesn’t have to look dramatic or sudden
✨ What it means to build momentum in a soul-aligned way
✨ The radical power of trusting your timing and honoring your own pace

If you’ve been feeling a quiet nudge ... or even a loud one ... this episode is your reminder: your body already knows. Your spirit already knows. You are not behind. You’re right on time.

Caren is one of those women whose energy just shifts the room. I’m so honored to have had this conversation and can’t wait for you to experience her magic.

Hello and welcome to ThriveAfter 45, the podcast where we
redefine what's possible inmidlife.
I'm Denise, drink Walter, yourmidlife renewal coach here to
help you embrace your power, purpose, and potential.
This is your space to let go ofguilt, navigate transitions,

(00:20):
rediscover joy, thrive for youby you.
Because of you.
It is an absolute honor and aprivilege to welcome Karen
Carnegie to the show today.
Karen's journey into this workstarted through personal
training.
But even then, she knew therewas something more.

(00:41):
As she listened more deeply toher own healing and to the
body's wisdom, she began touncover a very powerful gift.
The ability to read the bodyemotionally, energetically, and
spiritually.
Not just physically.
Now, as an intuitive momentumcoach, psychic channeler and

(01:02):
founder of Transform FitnessCoaching, Karen creates a space
where movement and soul meet.
She helps people reconnect withthemselves, move through stuck
energy, and come back intoalignment with who they truly
are.
Her impact goes beyondone-on-one clients.

(01:23):
It reaches through her words, her presence, and the energy she
shares with the world.
Karen's work is sacred, embodied, and deeply
transformative, and I am sograteful to have her here with
us today.
Karen, welcome.
It is an honor and a privilegeto have you on the show today.

(01:44):
Thank you for being here.
Sice.
That was beautiful.
You made me tear up.
That was, well, I wasn't meaningto do that.
That's really nice.
Thank you.
I'm really happy to be here.
I've been really looking forwardto this conversation.
So let's start if we can, at thebeginning of your journey.

(02:05):
So when did you first start tosense that there was something
deeper waiting to be discoveredbeneath the surface of your
personal training work?
I.
Hmm.
So it was long after I hadstarted and what was happening
was after the birth of my secondchild especially, I had started

(02:28):
really noticing that my body wascrying for help.
Hmm.
I was having DI digestiveissues, inflammation, skin
flare-ups.
At that point too, I was reallyreliant on alcohol as well, and
I was really spending a lot oftime and energy.
Blaming other things and givingmy power to other resources,

(02:48):
trying to fix these symptoms.
Until one day I was, um, I wasat the chiropractor's office and
I noticed a card sitting thereand it had to do with, um,
personal trainer or like awoman's bootcamp, but I knew
that a woman's bootcamp, it justwasn't for me.
I just didn't feel confidentenough to step into an

(03:10):
environment like that.
It just wasn't for me.
So.
I started thinking to myself, well, maybe exercise.
I think it's time.
That wasn't even something thatwas on my radar at this point at
all throughout my life.
Okay.
And I thought, well, maybeexercise.
That would be a good place.
So it's just this little nudge, this little something that I

(03:32):
just, this light bulb momentthat I thought, you know, this
is it.
And I just, and I, I went homeand I talked to my husband and I
said, listen, I got, I reallywould like to maybe start doing
something with regards tofitness, but I had just injured
myself not long before as aresult of drinking.
And I didn't know where to startand I didn't see myself and what

(03:53):
was being portrayed when it cameto the gym.
Mm-hmm.
And the thought of stepping intoa gym just made me not wanna
start.
So again, it just wasn't for me.
So.
I decided at that point to hirea personal trainer.
Now, this was about, uh, maybe amonth or so before COVID started
and I.
We had a couple sessions andthings were feeling really good.

(04:15):
I had that little spark wasgrowing more, I noticed, I felt
better when I left.
Um, and then COVID hit, the gymswere closed, and that time with
my personal trainer just halted.
And I said like, now what?
I still don't have a lot ofknowledge, but at least I have
something and I wanna keep thisspark going.
So I, you know, whatever apps orwhatever I could find on, on my

(04:37):
phone, I went and I did them asbest as I could.
It wasn't perfect, but because Iwas by myself, it really was
important that I listened to mybody.
Hmm.
And so we did.
I did that more and more.
I had a couple virtual sessionswith my personal trainer as
well, but she wasn't there withme.
So it was really important, again, that I listened to my
body, really paid attention tothese movements was if I was

(05:01):
self-teaching myself when itcame to physical fitness.
Then a bit of time went on,maybe months where I started
noticing that the thoughts thatwere swirling around in my head
were changing.
All of a sudden they had becomemore positive.
Less limiting, less that Icouldn't do this.
I became more confident with myworkouts, more willing to try

(05:23):
new things or push myself alittle bit more.
And then I began to realize, youknow what if I turned that same
mindset that I have with myphysical fitness and my workouts
in other areas of my life whereI was feeling really uncut fee
social environments work as amom, you name it.

(05:45):
So I started looking at thesethings.
So just like we can modifyexercises, well, I can kind of
modify and change my mindsetwhen it comes to these things in
my life.
And maybe I'll become lessanxious or maybe I'll feel
better because you know, I, likea lot of people do, we overthink
ourselves into this, you know, swirly, worrly, bit of chaos in

(06:05):
our minds of these things thatmay or may not happen.
And that's what I was doing too.
But what.
When I was at the gym and I wasdoing my workouts, I was present
because I was so focused on mybody that everything that was
swirling around up here wasgone.
So I used that philosophy inother aspects of my life.

(06:26):
And then as months went on, Iwould go about some walks and,
um, I wasn't meditating andspirituality wasn't on my radar
then.
Okay.
That didn't start falling until2022.
But what I did notice was theselittle drops of.
What I thought were thoughts atthe time that were really
encouraging and it had to dowith now looking back and I had

(06:47):
written everything down'causethey were really good ideas.
I thought, I'm gonna go home andwrite this down related to
transform and start in thatbusiness model that I had
started.
So really good insights, reallyencouraging.
Uh, positive kind of, um, um,ideas.
Mm-hmm.
And then in 2022, I had a, amoment where, and I was, had

(07:10):
still been drinking daily upuntil even this point, and my
exercise has started in 2019.
So again, the changes weren'tperfect and they were small,
they were very incremental.
Right.
But in 2022, I had a very clearmessage.
From someone.
Someone that I actually saw atthat time that was very clear

(07:36):
when they said, Karen, you havea job to do.
This needs to stop.
You need to get to work.
Mm.
That was, it had quit drinking.
I knew that I was here for amuch bigger reason.
Hmm.
So then this stuff startedpopping up into my awareness
when it came to books.

(07:58):
And listening to certain thingsthat I would've never chosen for
myself, but they were justpopping up everywhere.
And then I started learning moreabout quantum.
So just like that fire insidewhen it came to learning about
fitness.
All of a sudden now I waslearning about spirituality,
which I was like, where did thiseven come from?
This was not on my radar likemonths ago.
Yeah.
Now looking back, it's somethingthat's been a part of my life

(08:19):
for a very long time.
I know that now, but it didn't.
I didn't know that.
Then, of course, so again, so Istarted getting, so really
taking these insights that I wasgetting.
I was like, no, this, this is myintuition.
These are my higher guides.
This is my higher self speaking.
These messages are about mypurpose.
So really taking them seriously, writing everything down.

(08:42):
Being present.
Really, again, honing in on my,on my physical movement too,
because I noticed, I reallyconnected the dots when it came
to when I moved my body and themessages that I would receive
and come through at that sametime and through the movement of
my body, I was able to processmy emotions better.

(09:02):
That energy that's in motionthat was so stuck before that
was causing my body discomfortthat was causing.
My whole being discomfort.
Yeah.
So we got that moving.
So I was able to get moreinsights and then when it came
to working with clients, I cameto the realization that I wasn't
just tapping into my ownintuition, my own higher guides,

(09:25):
my own sources.
I was able to tap into theirs aswell.
So I would receive messages thatwere meant to get to these
people that through their own.
Feelings of, you know, stucknessthat they just weren't able to
receive.
So I was able to help deliverthose messages so they would get
off and running.

(09:45):
So that's why I changed my titleto Intuitive Momentum Coach.
'cause personal trainers seemed, you know, like one avenue and
then spiritual life coach wasanother.
But Momentum is getting thatenergy in motion.
That's what we were doingthrough the fusion of all of
these things.
And with the psychic channeling, which makes it very, very

(10:06):
unique.
So that's how it came to be.
Uh, there's so many goldennuggets in there.
There's a couple that I reallywanna pull out and mm-hmm.
Identify for our audience ifthey haven't heard it.
One thing I heard pretty loudand clear is you shared your.
Beautiful story.

(10:28):
Um, and your journey is that itwasn't an overnight.
You didn't wake up one morningand go, Bing, this is it.
I'm going off and doing thisnow.
It wasn't like an outside, itwas a deep internal step by step
journey that slowly you opensyourself up to experiencing.

(10:49):
Would you s Yeah.
Absolutely.
Absolutely.
And to, you know, it's reallyimportant to remember that, you
know, it feels like we're alwaysin this race with one another.
Always comparing, you know, always, everybody has their own
timing, their own layers touncover.
There's no rush.
What's anyone's rush?
Where do we have to be?

(11:10):
Nowhere fast.
Yeah.
So really take your time.
Take your time.
We have so much pressure on usas it is just, you know, listen
to yourself and stay on your ownpath because it's beautiful.
It's beautiful.
We could, you know, and I, and Icompare it to a hiking trail and
you know those little markers Ohyes.
That are along the hiking trail.

(11:31):
They don't tell you that you'rethere yet, but they tell you
that.
They're in that you're in theright direction.
So you follow those littlemarkers and along the path
there's gonna be many lookoutsthat are absolutely beautiful to
see along the way.
You're gonna learn how to climbup these steep slopes and how to
go down without falling.

(11:53):
Or you could be chopper to thetop and miss all of that
entirely.
Yeah.
Yeah.
You would've missed all of thatalong the way.
So, I mean, take your time.
Take the time that you need anddon't worry about anybody else
and what exactly what they'redoing.
Yeah, exactly.
It's your journey and access itbecause it's, it's right there.

(12:17):
And you were able to see thetiny components and listen deep
enough to be able to know thosenudges and what they were.
You probably didn't understandthem in the beginning, but as
they continued and you.
Made yourself open to itbecause, and, and correct me if
I'm wrong, because they werenot, um, so loud that they

(12:41):
interfered and you got to pushthem away, but they were
quieter, but there was somethingdeeper inside of you knowing you
had to move it.
Is that Absolutely.
Yeah.
Absolutely.
And if I were given all of thisinformation at the beginning
that, you know, Karen, this iswhat you're gonna be doing.
Yeah.
That version of Karen was veryscared.

(13:02):
Yes.
Like I, I don't think I would'vedone it.
Right.
So you, given what we're needand the same with these messages
that are received throughpsychic channeling.
Yes.
Whether it's for myself, for thecollective or for members.
We're given what we're meant to,to receive.
Right.
When we're meant to receive it.
Exactly.
Not a second sooner.

(13:22):
Exactly.
Exactly.
And everything happens in theway it needs to happen.
When it needs to happen, right?
Yes.
Yeah.
Yes.
Yeah.
Yeah.
I mean, do I wish that, youknow, that my kids didn't
experience me in that way whenthey were younger?
Absolutely.
But I don't spend a lot of timethinking about what was, it's an

(13:43):
important, I don't.
You'll find I don't spend a lotof time on my story because it,
it's important to acknowledgeand she really, that version of
Karen shaped who I am now.
Yeah.
But I don't spend any timeblaming anything or Yes.
Anyone for any of that.
Right.
What I want to encourage, I justdon't want anyone to experience

(14:07):
their version of rock bottom.
Right before something happens.
So those little nudges.
Yeah, we spend a lot of timemaking sense of things to soothe
their mind.
When your body's been talking toyou in its own language for
maybe a really long time, andyour body has a way better
understanding right of what'sgoing on than anything up here

(14:29):
ever will.
So you'll never hear me use theword mindful because to me the
mind is already full.
Listen a little bit more to.
Say that again.
Say that again.
That was brilliant.
Thank you.
Go.
I feel like we're always usingthat word, but mindful the mind
is already full.
Listen to your body and thenudges that, that it often

(14:52):
speaks in the language ofsymptoms, perhaps, and maybe
it's been talking to you for areally long time.
Listen to your body, be aware ofyour body, aware of your
reactions, right?
But yeah, it's, uh, we give thisa lot of credit and a lot of
power, and really it could justbe delaying what's waiting for
you and your body knows whatthat is.

(15:14):
Yeah.
This not so much right.
Tuning into your body.
So what does it mean?
That, um, like coming home toyourself, like how does the body
actually guide that process ofcoming home to yourself?
You're talking about the bodyand it's very loud if you're
paying attention and the power.

(15:36):
Mm-hmm.
It has.
Mm-hmm.
Um.
What does it mean to be able tofind that and come home to you?
So we disconnect ourselvessometimes from our body.
We think that our body has norelation to our path or purpose
in this life, right?
When it really, it's the vesselor vehicle that's driving you
through it.
So the body holds energy.

(15:57):
It holds emotion, right?
It holds a frequency and itholds memory.
At transform.
We're not here to alwaysactivate muscle.
We're here to activate.
Memory, right?
So when we connect to our body,we're telling ourselves we're
important, that we want to feelbetter.
Right, and it just opens up awhole kind of, it just opens up

(16:21):
an in, it's an invitation to,to, you know, feeling better and
learning more about yourself andfeeling, knowing what you're
capable, what your body iscapable.
Because in this disconnect thatwe get with our body, you know,
I've seen some people becomescared of their body or they
lose trust in it.
You know, and our, or we don'tlike what we see, or we're hard

(16:44):
on ourselves when we look at ourreflection in the mirror.
That reflection just wants youto see it the way that it sees
you.
So, and I, and I, uh, a goodmetaphor that I have is the body
is like a speaker.
Right.
You know, like a speaker thatwe're talking out of right now.
So a speaker, and then the soundthat comes through the spirit is

(17:08):
maybe your intuition, yourspirit, your soul.
But there's static happening,there's static.
We just need help to tune it.
So how do we tune it?
We turn that little dial well,to me, that turning of that
little dial is like movement andnot everybody.
Might resonate with strengthtraining or lifting weights,
right?

(17:28):
Maybe for someone elsestretching, meeting their body
where it's at right now.
So starting with stretching toconnect with their body, yoga,
martial arts, whatever it is,right?
Finding that thing thatsprinkles aspects of you in it.
So not everybody that works withme, you know, needs to hire me
as a personal trainer.

(17:48):
I've got other options to work.
Nice with people.
It's just helping you toremember what is that thing that
makes your body feel good?
That also makes your spirit justlight up, right?
So it's asking the rightquestions and by finding out
that real why.
Their outcome becomes different.

(18:10):
So there's always frequencyattached to the reasons why
people will do something.
Okay.
If they hire a personal trainerbecause they got a good deal, or
you know it was they promised afast result, well their outcome
is probably gonna match that.
Right?
But if you ask more questionsand you find out that somebody

(18:30):
would like to.
Hire a personal trainer or youknow, move their body right in a
different way that resonateswith them because they wanna
play with their grandchildrenfor as long as possible, right?
They wanna get up and down onthe floor, off the floor, right?
They wanna hike with theirhusband because that is
something that they just bothenjoy.
Yeah.

(18:50):
That's gonna become a little bitdeeper.
Their why becomes deeper.
Their outcome is gonna becomedeeper and more sustainable.
Right.
Okay.
Yeah.
Right.
So it's just asking thosequestions.
So many personal trainers willstop at the gate of the more
physical, right?
Whereas me, we ask, we go alittle bit, oh, I, with their
permission, we open up thosegates, of course, and I start to

(19:13):
ask people, you know, what makesthem who they are?
And oftentimes Denise, theydon't have an answer because
somewhere along the way, they'veforgotten.
Yeah, so some of my questions Iasked'em about some of the stuff
that they enjoyed doing whenthey were a child.
Mm-hmm.
What do you do where you losetrack of time?
Maybe we've forgotten'cause wehaven't done those things in a

(19:34):
while.
So when I'm creating thesesummaries and I sit with people
in my awareness, planning theirworkouts, or planning their, um,
you know, their recommendationsfor outside of the gym, I make
sure it's sprinkled with aspectsof them that meet them where
they are in a really practicaland achievable way.
I'm not asking anyone to gobeyond themselves.

(19:57):
All of a sudden, wow.
You know, they start to feelbetter.
They start to gain that momentumbecause now all of a sudden that
energy that's been just sittingkind of, you know, resting in
their bodies, is moving, moving, that's momentum.
So, and receiving any messagesfrom their higher guides, or,
you know, sometimes a loved onethat's pa you know, it, it, it

(20:19):
changes, right?
Whatever is.
To reach them.
Reach them.
And again, I, you know, I wannaemphasize it doesn't matter who
the message is coming from, it'swhat the message is.
Right.
Okay.
Reaches them.
And then that might help them tosee past the blind spots be
like, mm-hmm.
Oh, it could be a phrase, aword, a memory, something that's
ignited where they're like, oh.

(20:39):
That's what it was.
That was in my blind spot thatwas preventing me from seeing
that beautiful lookout that wasright there.
Yeah.
I just couldn't see it.
'cause maybe this thing wasright in my way.
Right, right, right.
So when you work with yourclients mm-hmm.
Um, I can only imagine, imagine.

(21:02):
That the variety of messagesthat come through are dependent
upon their energy, your energy, the combination thereof.
And it's, and it's, it's any,any of those three elements that
combine itself to create thatresponse where you get messages

(21:25):
or are you finding that.
Um, you don't have to spend alot of time like, how does that
even work?
Because I'm so intrigued bythis.
It's so incredible.
So, so far, so there is a bitwhen kind of attached to their
energy and when we speak at ourinitial conversation, we'll
speak so I can, so we can seeeach other, because I find that
that's really important.

(21:46):
Because I can see how they usetheir body just in like, in
conversation.
Right.
And I can feel their energy andI, I can feel their energy
through a text, an email, through a conversation, just
with having them in myawareness.
Sure.
Consciousness is very vast andwhen, you know, when we agree to
work with one another, we'reagreeing to be in each other's

(22:10):
energy field.
Right?
Right.
So through their energy.
But there has been a really bigvariety and yeah, sometimes what
might be blocking someone orsomeone, you know mm-hmm.
Something in their blind spot isgrief, for example.
Sure.
Um, so maybe a message from.

(22:30):
You know, if, if there was aloss for them, that was close to
them, a message from thatindividual is what we've
experienced.
So it's all very specific to theindividual or something related
to the weight of the worldthat's connected to their
physical symptoms.
Just the weight of, of not justone person, but just, you know.
People's opinions or people'sexpectations are just weighing

(22:54):
their body down.
So really just connecting thosedots for them, and that'll be
from their higher self or theirteam of higher guides.
But it's been a variety, youknow, and some of it has really
caught me up, but just I thinkthat my direction is going one
way, right?
It just keeps me on my toes.
I was like, what?
Wasn't expecting that one.
And it's evolving every day.

(23:15):
And it is, and I, my gifts areevolving too, in that these, um,
I would normally have to reallykind of sit in solitude to
receive these message.
They're coming on more now inreal time as well through
conversation, which is reallyspecial.
Um, so we're always incommunication with each other
through, through text, with thetransform app or through, you

(23:36):
know, regular conversations likethis.
And in person too.
You know, maybe at the gym.
So it's, um, yeah, it's beenquite a variety and a variety
too, on the people that reachout to me.
Yeah.
Men, women, you know, this workis for, for humans, it's for
everyone.
It's for everyone, right.
Yeah.
So, yeah, it's, uh, it's been,it's been quite a variety and

(23:59):
has kept me on my toast.
Well, I have to say.
I am so thrilled that you havelistened to your guides.
You have taken time and space tounderstand.
I know at the beginning youshared, um, that, that you, when

(24:19):
you look at your past, this hasalways been.
Part of who you are, but it'sjust come to light through your
most recent, you know, in the 20nineteens and beyond, things
unfolding in the way that theyneeded to.
I always believe that ourjourney is happening the way it
has always meant to happen, eventhough we can't.

(24:42):
Comprehend what's going on.
It's much deeper than that, andI really, really love Karen,
that your message is very clear, which is exactly why we do this
show that this is for theimportance of, um, women in
particular, because that's ourprimary audience, but people in
general we're going to say.

(25:04):
Making sure you do for you byyou because of you, because
nobody else can take the journeyfor you.
It is yours, right?
And the way that you haveincorporated all of your gifts
and talents through thechallenging journey that you

(25:24):
have experienced, and not onlycome out the other side, but
have.
I'm gonna say grown wings as anangel path for so many who have
the fortune to meet you.
Connect with you in whateverform fashion that takes.

(25:45):
And it really is an honor toshare this time and space with
you today.
I'm so grateful.
Well, thank you.
I am the grateful one.
Thank you.
I'm glad that we, you know, found this connection.
For sure.
It's, you know, and you know, animportant message for people too
is just not to wait for yourconditions to change.

(26:07):
Yes.
Um.
We, you know, we, we delaythings to just try to make sense
of it, but it, there's nothingmore freeing than just trusting
what is.
We don't need to necessarilyknow how the body is connected
to everything, but just knowthat it is, trust that it is,
you'll find out why once you goalong.

(26:30):
So just trust that it is, andjust free yourself from those
things that might be.
Keeping you where you are,right?
Yeah.
From the life that you're meantto live, that you're ready to
live.
So Right.
Taking these first, followingthose little nudges is really,
it's really important.
It's really key, isn't it?
It really is.
Yeah.
And, and it's very quick how ourmind enters in and becomes the,

(26:54):
you know, the little on theshoulder note.
What do you think of.
What are you thinking aboutthat?
Why do you think you could everdo that?
All this stuff, and that doeshave a way of quieting down over
time.
Hmm.
Right?
Yeah.
It really truly can, you know,if you just really remember why
you're doing this in the firstplace and give yourself love and

(27:15):
compassion, some of those voicesthat are up here, they'll start,
they'll start to quiet down.
So just really, yeah.
And when we, and I feel this ismy hope for the future is
through every.
Person who I connect with or whoI reach, or you know you with
your clients and the people thatyou reach through your podcast.

(27:36):
If we can help encourage peopleto love and accept themselves,
it all starts here.
Then and only then.
Can we truly actually acceptother people and appreciate
other people?
Because otherwise we're justpretending.
We're performing and pretendingin this life, which maybe we've
been doing for a while.

(27:58):
But when you learn and reallyappreciate and accept yourself,
you'll appreciate other peopleand see that we're all living
and experiencing through our ownlens.
That's my hope for the future.
That's how I feel like the worldis then gonna become a better
place when we learn to actuallyvalue and appreciate each other,

(28:18):
because we've acceptedourselves.
So it all starts here.
Right?
Right.
And when we start there and whenwe understand the importance of
yourself.
And, and this is the thing thatI find that the women that I
work with really struggle with.
That they feel that, feel thatthat is egocentric where you

(28:43):
start to think about your asimportant as everybody else.
And that is falsehood 1 0 1.
Like who?
Whoever.
Gave that lip service, I mean,it's in the sphere for sure, but
we need to remove it.
We need to change it.
And the only way we can do thatis through our types of

(29:05):
conversations and giving peoplethe, not only the concept, but
the.
Propensity and power to go aheadand move forward for themselves.
Yeah.
And what, yeah.
Right.
When we do that, everythingchanges in so many ways.

(29:25):
Women, I mean, we, we are just,it's in our blood to nurture and
care for others, and that's areally, it's a barrier.
It was a barrier for myself fora long time, and even in the
beginning when I chose and hireda personal trainer, I, I had
young children at home.
I.
You know, shouldn't have usedthat time for myself.

(29:46):
I shouldn't have spent thatmoney, but oh my gosh, I'm so
glad I did because now because Ishow up for myself, I show up
for my kids and I'll show upbetter in the world.
My definition of definition offitness, I changed it because I.
Want it to be more encompassing, more holistic.

(30:09):
It is about being sound in yourenvironment inside, so we can be
more sound in our environmentaround us.
It has nothing to do with repsor weight or macros or
equipment.
It has nothing to do with that.
It's in here.
So when people think that youknow that it's selfish or you

(30:29):
know that they shouldn't betaking that time for themselves.
That is a big reason why you,why it's a good idea.
'cause you'll show up and you'llcare for others.
But really we need to focus onourselves and it's just shifting
that paradigm now.
Mm-hmm.
That's just been ingrained in usfor so long.
Let's shift that paradigm alittle bit.

(30:51):
Yeah.
So it's become more freeing forwomen, especially to just take
those steps.
And the thing that I'd, I'd loveto add to that is you are also
modeling for your children sothat they can see the importance
of making sure you look afteryourself.
And when you give them thatunderpinning.

(31:14):
They're going to, they're notgonna battle as much or as
harder or as long for givingback to themselves, which I
love, which is, I think you knowwhy we need to do this work and
why we need to have theseconversations and why we need to
have people like you in thisbeautiful world to be able to
show us what can happen when wedo change ourselves from the

(31:39):
inside out.
It doesn't just stop at us byfocusing on ourselves, and I'll
use my own family as an example.
You're right.
You know, thank you for bringingthat up.
My children see somethingdifferent.
My husband's taking care ofmyself.
Yeah.
It has healed something in myown mom, you know, because she
sees us taking care of her, youknow, as, so maybe if there's

(32:01):
something inside of her, a layerthat you know that is.
A little bit of attention thatthat just helps her so it
doesn't just stop.
It's so, so important becauseyou did one thing.
Yeah.
Seems pretty worth it to me.
Yeah, it's a win.
It's the Stephen Covey win, win,win all the way around.

(32:23):
Yeah.
Right.
Without, yeah, with, and thepart I love is that it's without
having to make it happen outsideof you.
Yeah.
You just start doing that foryou and your sphere of influence
starts changing without youhaving to create the atmosphere
for such.
'cause you're already creatingit through the energy you're
putting out because you'rehappier with who you are.

(32:43):
Exactly.
You know, I would love tochange.
Uh, you know, and I don't agreethat fitness is an industry, and
we see it in spirituality too.
It's become an industry.
When does that even happen?
I don't know.
But, you know, but I'm oneperson, so I, maybe I can't, I
can't really, I'd love toinfluence a new idea when it
comes to fitness, but I can holdspace for all of those people

(33:05):
who don't know.
And don't get me wrong, there'smany people who resonate with
health and that's.
Fine.
You know, and that's great andI'm happy for them.
Yeah.
But there are people out therewho just don't see themselves
with what's being portrayed.
So I will hold space.
I will never stop.
I will hold space and uh, forthose people so they know that
fitness is in here.

(33:26):
Everybody, you know, it isn't aluxury.
It's a right.
We all have you belong here.
I want people to feel welcomejust as I would welcome them in
my own home.
Yeah.
You're not subscribing to anidea or a template, right?
It's a relationship.
It's a sacred relationship, youknow, of somebody that knows.
All the dimensions perfect.

(33:48):
Because we're multidimensionalbeings.
You know, just like I don't saymindful, I rarely say the word
program either.
Yeah.
Because we cannot be programmed,right.
We're human.
We have all these differentlayers, so go easy on yourself.
And again, the changes, theydon't have to perfect or
incremental.
When things happen, lifehappens.

(34:08):
Give yourself grace andcompassion.
And tomorrow is a new day.
Yeah.
Perfect.

You know, compete in this racethat just seems to be happening
