struggling to stay motivatedlong-term in today's thriving.

(00:03):
Five.
I'm sharing how tracking yourprogress, big or small, can
re-energize your motivation, build confidence, and keep you
moving towards your goals withclarity.
Welcome back to Thrive in Five, where I give you a quick burst
of motivation and productivityin five minutes or less.
I'm Cindy, your host, aself-made entrepreneur, busy

(00:25):
mom, and a business coach.
I've built and sold severaldigital businesses ranging from
five to six figure successes.
So when it comes to managingtime and priorities in both life
and work, I get it.
I've been there and I am here tohelp you thrive.
Let's talk about one of the mostunderrated motivation tools out
there, tracking your progress.

(00:47):
If you've ever thought, I'mdoing all the things, but it
doesn't feel like it's working,it might be because you're not
seeing the wins.
We get so focused on how far westill have to go, but we forget
to celebrate how far we'vealready come.
When you don't track it, yourbrain forgets it.
Tracking progress isn't justabout numbers.
It's about building momentum, recognizing growth, and

(01:09):
reminding yourself that you aremaking progress even if it's
slow.
Here's how to use this to youradvantage.
Pick a progress tracker thatfits your style.
Some people love visuals, like ahabit tracker, a checklist, or a
progress bar.
Others prefer journaling, voicenotes, or weekly recaps in your
planner.
There's no one right way to doit.

(01:30):
The goal here is to make yourprogress visible so that you can
look back and feel proud and notstuck.
You need to track progress andnot just perfection.
We tend to only record the winswhen they're big.
Momentum lives in small stepstoo.
Things like showed upconsistently, took messy action,

(01:51):
followed through on one promiseto yourself.
These are all major wins andthey build the self-trust that
fuels real growth.
Set micro benchmarks along theway, instead of only focusing on
the end goal, create minicheckpoints to measure progress.
For example, if your goal is tocreate a digital product, a

(02:12):
micro win might be outliningyour offer or designing a
landing page.
These smaller milestones giveyou constant reasons to keep
going.
This works because when youtrack your progress, you give
your brain a reason to staymotivated.
It builds positivereinforcement.
You're no longer chasing somefar off finish line.

(02:32):
You're stacking wins and provingto yourself that progress is
happening right now.
Here are your action steps fortoday.
If you are ready to implementthis, choose one method of
tracking, so whether a journal,a checklist, an app, et cetera.
Choose one.
Log one thing you've done thisweek that has moved you forward.
Set your next mini milestone andplan to track it.

(02:55):
Your progress matters.
You are doing more than youthink.
Don't wait until the finish lineto feel proud.
Let your progress be proof thatyou're already succeeding.
