Let's talk about those momentswhen everything feels like it's
falling apart.
Maybe it's back to back meetingsthat ran over your inbox is
exploding, your kids are meltingdown, and you haven't even
looked at your priority list.
Your brain is in panic mode.
Your stress is through the roof,and you are reacting instead of

responding.
Here's what's happening.
When you are in chaos mode, yournervous system is.
Hijacked you are running onadrenaline and cortisol, which
makes everything feel urgent andoverwhelming.
But the good news here is thatyou can interrupt this cycle in
just one minute.
The technique is simple.
Stop, breathe, choose whereveryou are, whatever you're doing,

literally stop.
Don't finish the email, don'tanswer the call.
Don't keep rushing.
Just stop.
Take three deep breaths inthrough your nose, out through
your mouth.
This isn't about relaxation.
It's signaling to your brainthat you are safe and you are in
control.
Next, ask yourself one question.

What is the most important thingI need to do right now?
Not everything that feelsurgent, not 20 things on your
to-do list.
Just one thing.
Your brain will want to give youmultiple answers, but push for
just one.
This question cuts through thenoise and helps you focus on
what actually matters.

Then commit to that one thingfor the next block of time.
Maybe it's the next 30 minutes.
Maybe it's the next hour, butyou are going to do that one
thing with full focus.
Everything else can wait.
This isn't about being perfect.
This is about being intentional.
This works because when you areoverwhelmed, the problem isn't

that you have too much to do.
It's that you're trying to doeverything at once.
This one minute reset breaks thepattern.
It moves you from reactivechaos.
Into intentional action.
I use this technique constantlyand I teach it to all my
clients.
One entrepreneur recently toldme that she uses it between

every client call that she hasanother uses it when her kids
get home from school and herworkday needs to shift.
It's not about having more time.
It's about using the time youhave more effectively.
If you wanna try this today,here is your challenge.
The next time you feeloverwhelmed or scattered, set a
timer for one minute.

Stop wherever you are, stop whatyou're doing, and take three
breaths.
Ask yourself, what is the mostimportant thing right now?
Choose that one thing and committo it for the next time.
Block.
That's it.
You don't need to have a perfectday to be productive.
You just need to know how toreset when things get chaotic.
