(00:00):
Morning hits, and you'resupposed to feel motivated to
tackle your goals, but insteadyou're scrolling, social media,
hoping inspiration willmagically appear.
Sound familiar?
Here's something most peopledon't realize.
Waiting for motivation is likewaiting for the weather to
change.
You'll be waiting forever.
In this episode, I'm sharing howto build motivation habits that

(00:21):
will work automatically, so younever have to rely on hoping
that you feel like takingaction.
Welcome back to Thrive in Five, where I give you a quick burst
of motivation and productivityi'm Cindy, your host, a
self-made entrepreneur, busymom, and a business coach.
I've built and sold severaldigital businesses ranging from

(00:42):
five to six figure successes.
So when it comes to managingtime and priorities in both life
and work, I get it.
I've been there and I am here tohelp you thrive.
Let's talk about why the justget motivated advice doesn't
work for real life.
Maybe you bought into the ideathat successful people feel
motivated all the time, so youbeat yourself up.

(01:04):
When you don't wake up ready toconquer the world, maybe you're
tired of the motivation, rollercoaster, feeling fired up
for three days, then losingsteam, then getting nothing
done.
For next week, or maybe you'rerunning a business or managing a
family, and you simply can'tafford to wait until you feel
like doing things.
Here's what I've learned fromworking with lots of small

(01:25):
business owners.
Motivation isn't just a feelingyou wait for.
It's a system that you buildwhen you rely on hoping
motivation will show up.
You essentially let your mooddecide whether your business
grows and your goals getreached.
But when you build motivationhabits, you create the
sustainable drive that works, whether you feel like it or not.

(01:47):
This shift from hoping formotivation to building
motivation habits completelychanged how I run my businesses
and my life.
Instead of having productivedays when I feel like it and
lost days when I didn't.
I created daily motivationhabits to help keep me moving
forward consistently.
The entrepreneurs that I workwith who master this approach

(02:09):
don't rely on willpower orperfect conditions.
They've made motivationautomatic through simple,
sustainable systems.
Here's how to build motivationhabits that actually last.
So motivation becomes automaticinstead of accidental.
First, you wanna create yourdaily motivation trigger.
Most people wait for motivationto find them, but successful

(02:31):
people have a.
Specific daily action thatgenerates drive on command.
This could be reading your goalsaloud every morning, looking at
a vision board while you haveyour coffee, or spending five
minutes writing down what youwant to accomplish and why it
matters.
The key is doing the sametrigger every single day,
whether you feel motivated ornot.

(02:53):
Think of it like brushing yourteeth.
You don't wait to feel likedoing it.
You just do it because it's partof your routine.
Next stack.
Small wins throughout your day.
Motivation feeds on progress, soyou need to intentionally create
moments where you feel likeyou're moving forward.
This means breaking big projectsinto smaller daily actions and

(03:13):
celebrating when you completethem.
If your goal is to grow yourbusiness.
Your small win might be sendingone follow-up email or writing
one social media post.
If you have a family, it mightbe having a five minute
conversation with each familymember about their day.
These aren't hugeaccomplishments, but they create
the momentum that buildssustainable motivation.

(03:34):
Finally, you need to design yourenvironment for automatic
action.
Your surroundings either supportyour motivation habits, or they
sabotage them.
Set up your space so that thethings you want to be motivated
about are easy to see and start.
Put your workout clothes whereyou can see them first thing in
the morning.
Keep your business planningnotebook on your desk open to

(03:55):
the current page.
If you're working on a bigproject, leave it out where you
can't ignore it.
The goal is to make takingaction easier than avoiding it.
The magic happens when thesethree habits work together.
Your trigger gets you started.
The small wins keep you going, and your environment removes the
friction that usually stops youafter a few weeks.

(04:18):
Motivation stops being somethingyou hope for and becomes
something you automaticallygenerate.
This framework has become secondnature in my daily routine, and
I've seen it transform how myclients show up for their
businesses and families.
A busy mom who runs a consultingpractice recently told me that
she uses small wins throughouther day, so she shared that she

(04:41):
celebrates things like sending aclient email, making a business
call, and having one meaningfulconversation with her kids.
She explained that these tinymomentum builders help keep her
motivated even on overwhelmingdays.
This systematic approach tobuilding motivation habits is
actually what makes everything Iteach in the Overwhelm Cure
program possible.

(05:02):
You can't build sustainablesystems if you're constantly
fighting your own motivation.
So here's your challenge.
Pick one daily motivationtrigger and commit to it for the
next.
To seven days.
It could be something as simpleas writing down the three things
that you're most excited to workon while you have your morning
drink, or looking at a photothat reminds you of why your

(05:23):
goals matter.
Do it every single dayregardless how you feel, and
notice how it starts toautomatically shift your energy.
You don't need to wait for theperfect mood to take action on
what matters most.
When you build motivationhabits, you take control of your
drive instead of leaving it upto chance.
Small, consistent actions createmomentum that makes motivation

(05:45):
feel automatic.
Whether you're building abusiness or raising a family,
these systems work.
You've got this.
