(00:00):
Picture this, it's Sundayevening and you are staring at
the week ahead, feelingcompletely scattered and
overwhelmed.
Your to-do list is endless.
Priorities, feel unclear, andyou're already in reactive mode
before Monday even starts.
What if I told you in just 15minutes every week, you could
create a weekly review systemthat keeps you focused?

(00:20):
Productive and in control.
In today's episode of Thrive inFive, I will teach you the exact
weekly review method thatoverwhelmed entrepreneurs use to
prevent chaos and stay on track.
Welcome back to Thrive in Five, where I give you a quick burst
of motivation and productivityin five minutes or less.

(00:43):
I'm Cindy, your host, aself-made entrepreneur, busy
mom, and a business coach.
I've built and sold severaldigital businesses ranging from
five to six figure successes.
So when it comes to managingtime and priorities in both life
and work, I get it.
I've been there and I am here tohelp you thrive.
Let's talk about why most weeklyplanning fails.

(01:06):
Maybe you've tried setting asidetime on Sundays, but you end up
moving tasks around without anyreal strategy, or you start
strong on Monday with yourweekly goals, but by Wednesday
you're completely off track.
Reacting to whatever is loudest.
You feel like you're alwaysbehind, always forgetting
something important, but neverquite sure if you're working on

(01:29):
the right things.
So here's what's happening.
Most people think that weeklyreviews are just scheduling
tasks.
But actually it's aboutstrategic alignment.
When you don't have a clearsystem to reflect on what
worked, what didn't, and whatneeds to shift, you can keep
repeating the same overwhelmpatterns week after week after

(01:51):
week.
But here is the good news.
You can break the cycle with onesimple framework that takes just
15 minutes.
As a busy mom and businessowner, I have learned that
sustainable productivity isn'tabout doing more.
It is about doing what mattersmost.
So when it comes to managingtime and priorities in both life
and work, I get it and I havebeen there.

(02:15):
This weekly review system issimple.
You reflect, you reset.
And you refocus.
This isn't just another weeklyplanning template.
It's a strategic system thatprevents overwhelm before it
even starts.
First, you're going to reflect, spend five minutes asking
yourself three weekly reviewquestions.

(02:37):
The questions are, what wentwell this week?
What didn't go as planned, andwhat did I learn about my
patterns?
This isn't about judgment.
It's about gathering data.
You're looking for trends thateither support or sabotage your
productivity.
Maybe you notice where you'remore focused in the mornings or
maybe back to back meetings, leave you drained and reactive.

(02:59):
Maybe you discover that certaintypes of tasks consistently get
pushed to Friday and createweekend stress.
Write down what you observebecause these insights become
your roadmap to make betterdecisions.
The next thing you're gonna dois reset.
This is where you clear mentalclutter and make an intentional
choices about your energy.

(03:21):
Look for what's coming up andmake three strategic decisions.
What are you going to stopdoing?
What are you going to startdoing and what are you going to
continue doing?
This step is crucial becausemost entrepreneurs just keep
adding to their plates withoutever subtracting.
You might decide to stopchecking emails first thing in

(03:41):
the morning, start batchingsimilar tasks together, and
continue your Tuesday morningdeep work block because it has
been working beautifully.
Finally, you're gonna refocus.
Choose your top three prioritiesfor the upcoming week.
Not 20 things, just three foreach priority, decide when
you're gonna work on them andwhat success looks like.

(04:04):
Block time in your calendar, like an appointment with
yourself.
This isn't about creating arigid schedule, it's about
creating intentional focuspoints that keep you aligned
with what matters most.
This weekly review system worksbecause you are not just
planning your week, you arelearning from your patterns and
making strategic adjustmentsbased on real data.

(04:27):
It's the difference betweenreactive scheduling and
intentional leadership of yourtime and energy.
I've used this weekly reviewframework constantly in my own
life, and I have shared it withsome of my clients.
Recently, a business mom onInstagram shared with me that
she uses this system everySunday night after her kids go
to bed.

(04:48):
She says that it's thedifference between surviving her
week and leading it withconfidence.
This reflection and planningframework is just one of the
core systems that I teach in myOverwhelm Cure program because
it's so foundational ineverything that we do.
If you wanna try this today, here is your challenge.

(05:08):
Set a timer for 15 minutes thisweekend and go through those
three Rs, reflect on the pastweek using those three
questions, reset your prioritiesby deciding what to stop, start,
and continue, and refocus onyour top three goals for next
week.
And that's it.
You don't need to have a perfectweek to be productive.

(05:29):
You just need a weekly reviewsystem that helps you learn,
adjust, and stay focused on whatmatters most.
15 minutes of intentionalreflection can transform how you
show up in your business andyour life.
You've got this.
