five
things that you must do when you
(00:02):
are ready to start pursuing yourdream goals Hey guys, welcome
back to another video.
Today we are going to be talkingabout the five things that you
must do if you are ready tobegin achieving your dream goals
(00:25):
starting today.
so let's go ahead and getstarted.
So the first thing, one of themost important things that you
must do when you are ready tostart achieving your dream goals
is number one, is to giveyourself permission.
(00:47):
Start achieving your dream goalsand validate your dream goal.
Why is this important is becausewithout doing this, I would have
never achieved any of my dreamgoals if I was focused more on
external validation and if I didnot give myself permission to
dream, permission to pursue, permission to achieve.
(01:11):
So, just to give you a quickstory so you can understand a
little bit of what I'm talkingabout.
So my first dream goal that I'veever achieved was me becoming a
full time reseller so that I canstay at home with my daughter
when she started school.
My dream goal wasn't necessarilyreselling, but I always wanted
to give my daughter somethingdifferent than what I
(01:34):
experienced growing up.
And one of that was I wanted tobe home.
I wanted to be present, especially once you start at
school.
So when she, before she startedschool, I made a decision, I'm
going to be a full timeentrepreneur.
And I came, I started lookingand I came across reselling.
(01:55):
And so I gave myself permission.
To say that it is okay to wantto be at home with my daughter.
It is safe to be home.
It is okay to pursueentrepreneurship.
I've validated like this is whatI want.
Why is this important?
Is because I knew that if I toldsomeone, they would say, no,
(02:20):
you're crazy.
No, that's not what you shoulddo.
No this, no that, no.
I had to decide on myself that Ideserve it.
That I wanted.
So when you give yourselfpermission to achieve your dream
goal, the goal that you have adesire in so much right now, you
(02:40):
are empowering yourself.
You are letting yourself knowthat you are deserving to
achieve your goal.
You are letting yourself knowthat you are safe to achieve
your dream goal.
That you're worthy, that you aregood enough.
When you give yourselfpermission, it is a inside job
(03:00):
that you don't even have to askanybody.
Do you think I should do this?
Should I do this?
Do you think this will be okay?
No, if you want to achieve yourdream goal, you must give
yourself permission and thenValidating validating that your
dream goal is good enough.
That goes right alongside givingyourself permission and the
(03:22):
reason why is because Validatingyour dream goal is good enough
is because your dream goal isdifferent from someone else's
dream Goal is different fromsomeone else's dream goal and
that dream goal was placed inyour heart So what if your dream
goal is here?
Huge.
What if it's something thatyou've never experienced before?
What if it's something thatnobody in your community
(03:44):
experienced before?
I never experienced a mom, awoman who stayed home in my
family, in my community.
I've never experienced that.
I always experienced womenhaving to go to work all the
time and their kid going toschool and then going home by
(04:04):
themselves.
That was my experience.
so I've never seen that before,so I had to validate that was
good enough.
You may have a dream goal thatis completely different from
what you've ever experienced.
Completely different from whatsomeone else may think is okay.
But if you validated, youvalidated that this is good
(04:25):
enough, that.
It is actually a great dreamgoal, even if it seems stupid,
even if it seems weird, no, youvalidate it that is all you
need.
You get to decide that.
So without doing that, I believethat it is very impossible to
achieve it because you can'treally achieve something that
you.
(04:45):
Don't feel is validated that youdon't approve of, So three
important things that Irecommend doing when you are in
the stage of giving yourselfpermission and validating your
dream goals.
Here's what I recommend.
Number one is keep it toyourself.
Keep your vision and keep yourvision of your dream goal to
(05:07):
yourself.
is this important?
this stage is because, again, you do not need external
validation.
You giving yourself permission, you validating yourself is you
courageously seeking your ownpermission and you are giving
yourself courage to go.
You do not need any externaldisapproval at this stage
(05:32):
whatsoever.
I did that when I decided to bea full time entrepreneur doing
reselling.
I let people figure it out afterthey saw that I was making money
from it.
That was my goal.
I was completely silent becausewhen you give people the
opportunity to, you know, insertthoughts in your mind and to
(05:52):
insert doubt, insert their ownbeliefs about what they think
you should be doing.
Sometimes you're going to goback and forth.
You need a clear mind when youare giving yourself permission.
The second thing that is veryimportant when you are in this
stage of giving yourselfpermission and validating your
dream goal is to make a list ofwhy you deserve this dream goal.
(06:19):
So why is this important isbecause you want to remind
yourself of why you deserve it.
Why you are worthy of it, whenyou can get behind that, why,
then you can continue to.
back up your permission ofyourself you can continue to
validate this goal that you haveso Why do you deserve this dream
(06:41):
goal?
the third thing that isimportant in this stage of
giving yourself permission andvalidating your dream goal is to
make a list of why you can dothis.
This is going to be a crucialstep in you pursuing any of your
dream goals.
If in you achieving any of yourdream goals, you are going to
(07:05):
want to start giving yourselfliving proof.
This happens when you startpursuing.
This happens once you startachieving dream goals, you will
start giving yourself livingproof.
But if you don't have that yet,It's never too late, right?
You are starting right now togive yourself living proof of
what you're capable of.
However, I want you to thinkback to things that you've done,
(07:30):
things that you've accomplished, where you set out to achieve a
goal and you achieve that.
Maybe it wasn't a.
Big goal.
Maybe it wasn't a goal thatreally pushed you out of your
comfort zone.
However, you put your mind tosomething and you achieve them.
So again, for example, let megive you an example from that
(07:51):
experience.
When I decided to give myselfpermission to achieve the dream
goal of being a full timeentrepreneur to stay home with
my daughter, I look back of whatI achieved.
So I look back to me gettinginto network marketing and me
learning how to work off 100percent commission and learning
how to sell and learning how tobe uncomfortable and push myself
(08:16):
out of my comfort zone.
And learning how to become a topseller pretty quickly, I Gave
myself proof that I can doanything I put my mind to, I can
do hard things, I can live off ahundred percent commission.
I don't need the safety of thispaycheck, right?
At that time, that's what I wasthinking.
I did this so I know I can dothis and going back to school,
(08:40):
finishing college.
There's so many things thatyou've accomplished that maybe
you're just not aware of rightnow because you've Not saying,
you know, time has passed andyou haven't thought of it as a
huge accomplishment, but sit andthink about all of the things
that you've accomplished andjust make a list because this is
giving you living proof of thetimes you were confident of the
(09:02):
times where you committed tosomething, where you were
focused and it's showing youthat you can do it again.
Giving yourself living proof isso, so important.
It helped me rebuild myconfidence in myself, it helped
me build my confidence in what Ican do.
It helped me crush limitingbeliefs over and over and over
(09:22):
again.
It reminded me of my strengthsor how resilient I am.
It improves my self image.
So giving yourself living proofis going to do that as you keep
achieving your dream goal.
Because you gave yourself livingproof and that permission to
pursue it.
It is going to help you rebuildyour confidence.
And this is why I created thegoal achiever, my new coaching
(09:46):
program, three month program, which is created to help you
rebuild your self confidence andyour self image through.
goal achievement is to help moveyou from just thinking about
your dream goal to actuallyachieving your dream goal
because when you become a goalachiever you rebuild your
(10:07):
confidence you rebuild your selfimage and ultimately That will
leave you feeling unstoppablebecause you gave yourself living
proof, but it only starts whenyou give yourself permission.
So if this is something that youwant to do, maybe you've lost
confidence in yourself becauseyou stopped pursuing your dream
(10:30):
goals or you never get startedbecause you live in self doubt
and limited beliefs and, youknow, external validation and
fear of judgment and fear offailure.
And.
Oftentimes you wasn't alwayslike that, right?
But you've lost that over timeand maybe you're at a point in
your life where you are ready torebuild, rebuild your
(10:51):
confidence, rebuild your selfimage by getting in the driver's
seat of actually pursuing yourdream goal to start becoming a
goal achiever.
And trust me, when you startbecoming a goal achiever, you
will begin feeling unstoppable.
you no longer see yourself assomeone who is not achieving
nothing or someone who is Youknow, not committed someone who
(11:15):
can't focus.
No, you re brand and reinventthat self image of yourself when
you become a goal achiever.
if you feel like this issomething that you would love to
be a part of, then just head tothe link in the description box
where you can get moreinformation.
Alrighty guys, so let's go tothe next thing that you must do
(11:36):
when you are ready to startachieving your dreaming goal.
So the second thing that youmust do when you are ready to
start achieving your dream goalis to start seeing yourself
There.
Whatever you can see in yourmind, you can hold in your hand.
Whatever you see in your mind, you can hold in your hand.
(11:59):
So see it in your mind.
See yourself there.
See yourself achieving thisdream goal.
Why is this And pour?
Because you seeing yourselfthere is going to give you the
energy to go, it is going togive you the excitement to take
action.
(12:20):
That is what using yourimagination is all about It is
seeing yourself there andgetting yourself excited,
getting yourself in the feelingsof being there.
Every dream goal that I've everachieved.
I always saw myself achieving itat all.
My, I always saw myself havingit.
(12:41):
For example when I first startedpodcasting, I knew I wanted 10 K
downloads and I wanted toachieve that quickly.
Within a year of me postingepisodes.
And.
I did it.
And it's because I saw myselfthere.
I saw the 10k there.
I saw the feeling.
I experienced the feeling in mymind of me having that goal.
(13:04):
It gave me the excitement.
That excitement propelled me.
That excitement is what made mewant to get on and get on camera
or get on my microphone andstart recording every single
week or every other week.
Another thing that I saw in mymind before Before it even
happened was me becoming a paidspeaker.
(13:25):
I saw it in my mind.
I saw myself on stage.
I saw myself, you know, hostingwebinars.
I saw myself being a virtualspeaker for someone else's
event.
I saw myself there.
I saw myself speaking to people, and because I saw myself there,
I held it in my mind.
I was able to achieve it andexperience it.
(13:46):
Before you start, if you want toachieve this goal, hold it in
your mind.
Hold it in your imagination.
This is a very crucial step ifyou want to start achieving your
dream goal, because it's goingto keep you excited, it's going
to keep you wanting it, it'sgoing to keep you desiring it.
So, again, like I said in thebeginning, whatever you can see
(14:09):
in your mind, you can hold inyour hand.
And that is something that Ilearned from a mentor.
Whatever you can see in yourmind, you can hold in your hand.
And ever since I keep, eversince I heard that, Everything
that I want to experience, Iimagine it in my mind.
I feel it.
I know it's going to happen.
It doesn't matter if it's goingto take three months or if it's
(14:30):
going to take a year or twoyears, I know that I'm going to
achieve it because I can see it.
I can see myself there and ifyou can see yourself there, you
can achieve it.
You cannot achieve nothing whereyou can't see yourself.
If you don't see yourselfachieving your dream goal, then
you won't achieve it becauseyour actions is really going to
(14:51):
be based off what you arethinking about.
If you can't see yourself there, you probably won't take action
towards it like you want to.
You won't take action towards itlike you've really wanted,
right?
There won't be no like powerbehind that action.
It might be subtle action or ascared action.
(15:12):
Action is still action.
However, the intensity of theaction is very important.
The intensity of action cansometimes decide or define when
you receive what you want toreceive and achieve that goal.
So see it in your mind.
That is one of the mostimportant things that you must
(15:33):
do when you are ready to startachieving your dream goal.
The third thing that you must dowhen you are ready to start
achieving your dream goal Ipromise this is so important
because I know from the bottomof my heart I would have never
achieved anything Any of mydream goals and when I say dream
(15:55):
goals, I mean, goals that lightsyou up goals that you can't stop
thinking about a goal that isgoing to make you uncomfortable.
A goal is that is going to pushyou into a new identity.
This is what I mean.
What a dream goal is stretchesyou.
You have to reinvent yourself.
(16:16):
You have to rebrand yourself.
You have to get uncomfortable.
This is what happens when youare achieving a dream goal, but
you're still so excited aboutit.
so this thing that you must dois take on the identity.
Uh, A risk taker, or just get ahealthy relationship with taking
(16:37):
risks.
This is going to be so importantbecause without taking risks,
without identifying as a risktaker, without getting
comfortable with being a risktaker, I would have never
achieved any of my goal, any ofmy dream goals.
And part of that is is learningto move out of my mind into my
(17:00):
body to do less thinking, morethinking.
action.
The less you think, the more youact, the better.
When you think less and actmore, you are actually
connecting with the inner childversion of you.
I've talked about this multipletimes before.
As a child, we had innateconfidence, right?
(17:24):
We just did.
We acted as we were told.
We were supposed to act, we weredeveloping we crawled when we
decided we wanted to crawl, wewalked when we wanted to walk,
we didn't think, we fell, we gotback up, we fell, we got back
up, we didn't think, we justdid.
That is how we naturallysupposed to be.
(17:44):
Yes.
As you achieve goals, you'regoing to have some strategy
behind it.
That is important.
However, when you are ready tostart achieving your goal, this
is so important that you don'twant to spend your time
thinking.
You do not want to spend most ofyour time thinking in the
beginning, get the informationthat you need to get and start
(18:06):
to act immediately.
Act as soon as possible beforeself doubt creeps in.
Once you make a decision thatyou want this, once you give
yourself permission that youwant this, it is time to act.
Don't think about it too much.
Move with your body.
(18:26):
Take action and less Thinkingyou will figure things out along
the way it is always gonnahappen that way anything you
want to achieve Figure it outalong the way.
So Identifying as a risk taker.
This is gonna make you loosen upas a perfectionist You don't
have to be perfect to getstarted.
(18:47):
You don't have to knoweverything to get started.
When I first started reselling, when I first decided that I
wanted to be a fullentrepreneur, to stay at home
with my daughter and pursueretelling, I'm no longer doing
that business.
However, when I decided this ishow it went.
I researched what I, Iresearched how to become an
(19:08):
entrepreneur.
I saw this.
I thought it looked really cool.
I said, okay, let me startselling some things out my
closet.
Okay.
Made a little money.
Oh, cool.
Let me see how people are makingthis their full time job.
I saw how people were doing it.
Okay.
So now let me go start buyingsome clothes.
I did that made a little bit ofmoney.
(19:30):
I said, okay, I'm going to gofull time.
This is, I was not even makingthat much.
I was probably making like 50 aweek.
And I said, okay, I'm going togo full time.
So I went and bought a, I wentand wholesale, I looked at this
(19:50):
wholesale website and I spent300 on wholesale items because I
saw other people doing it.
And I was like, okay, well, letme just do this let me just try
it nothing sold and I was like,oh My gosh, that was me taking a
risk.
Nothing sold and I was like, okay.
(20:11):
Well What's next?
Let me see what I should do.
So I did my research and then Ifigured out, Oh, people want
this.
I can't really sell a wholesalebecause I really don't have a
personal brand.
So let me actually sell whatsells.
And so I acted fast on that anddid it.
Because I didn't allow myself tosit and think too much and
(20:35):
ruminate about the mistake thatI made and ruminate of like, oh
my gosh, I, like, I just spentthis money.
Oh my gosh, what I'm going todo, listen, when you are all in,
when you are ready to achieveyour dream goal, yes, there's a
time for thinking, but action.
And once I started, once I tookaction on that, once I switched
(20:58):
it and I just put the wholesaleclose to the side, they'll sell
eventually put it to the side.
And I want to get the thingsthat people actually wanted name
brand stuff.
Guess what happened.
I started bringing in income, way more income.
And then within the three monthsI was making more than I was
making at my retail job at thetime.
(21:20):
And I was like, I figured itout.
You figure it out along the way.
You fail, you make mistakes.
You figure it out.
Less thinking, more acting.
If you want to achieve yourdream goal, less thinking, more
action.
And.
Get excited about being a risktaker.
I love being a risk taker.
It's such a beautiful thing.
(21:41):
It's not talking about beingirresponsible, but just batting
on yourself.
betting on yourself and knowingthat you have an opportunity to
create something.
You have an opportunity toachieve something.
Why not bet on yourself and giveyourself the chance to have
better, to do better, to bebetter.
(22:01):
Give yourself the chance, becomethat risk taker, identify with
it less thinking, more action.
More action.
This is a thing that you must dowhen you are ready to achieve
your goal.
Just embrace it.
I'm going to be a risk taker.
I'm a risk taker.
I'm a risk taker.
I'm a risk taker.
It is a good thing.
(22:22):
It's not a bad thing.
So the fourth thing that youmust do when you are ready to
start achieving your dream goaland Actually, this was not
something that I was I put in mynotes.
So it's gonna be six things andthat you must do But this is
important just came to me.
It is to learn to think moreHighly of yourself.
(22:47):
This is very, very, veryimportant.
So what I mean by this is yes, Isaid, I talked about giving
yourself permission and, youknow, empowering yourself in a
sense of you are worthy of this, you deserve this, but think more
highly of yourself of That youcan do so many things, that you
(23:08):
are smart, that you areintelligent, that you are
someone who can figure thingsout.
And the reason why I think thisjust popped into my mind Is
because I was speaking withsomeone the other day And I was
saying, you know, you can dothis.
You're so smart Like, you know, you have so much experience
(23:29):
about what you can do AndOftentimes, she didn't say this,
but she said this before, oftentimes, you know, they think
because they don't have a highschool diploma or a college
degree that, you know, somethingis that they can't learn as much
or learn as fast as people.
Or that they're not intelligent, that, you know, they can't think
(23:52):
more highly or learn somethingthat seems so big, seems so for
other people, that that's notfor them.
No, I want you to take that outof your mind right now.
If you are thinking that youcan't achieve something because
(24:13):
maybe you're not as smart asother people, I want you to
start thinking more highly ofyourself in order to achieve
your dream goal.
It's not just about thinkingthat you are worthy to achieve,
you know, your dream goal andhave it is about putting into
your mind a new identity.
I am smart.
I am intelligent.
(24:34):
I can do this.
I can figure things out, right?
Is identifying with a higherlevel of yourself, creating a
new self concept of yourself.
This is so, so, so importantbecause if I decided that, Oh,
if I, because I didn't have alot of money, I didn't come from
a family who had a lot of money.
(24:56):
If I decided to let that hold meback from, Things that I wanted
to achieve, like becoming a paidspeaker, becoming a full time
entrepreneur, becoming aYouTuber, having a podcast.
If I would have thought that myvoice didn't matter, I would
have never became a speaker.
(25:16):
I would have never been on thisplatform.
I would have never became acoach if I started to think that
I wasn't good enough to be aspeaker.
If my voice didn't matter that Ididn't know enough that I wasn't
enough to, you know, to helpsomeone else.
So I want you to start thinkingmore highly of yourself, because
if you have a dream goal thatyou really, really want to
(25:39):
achieve, it is going to requireyou to think more highly of
yourself, whatever it is thatyou want to achieve.
Think more highly of yourself.
You are smart.
You are valuable.
And you give great value if, ifyou want to use your voice
whatever it is that you want todo.
You are creative.
(26:00):
Think more highly of yourselfbecause that is so important.
It's It is a thing that you mustdo and continue to do it Empower
yourself consistently.
So now let me get to the fifthway.
The actual one that was supposedto be number four, the I'm do
(26:20):
when you're ready to startachieving your dream goal and
that is to become a student.
Become a student of yourself, but most of all, become a
student of whatever it is thatyou want to achieve.
This is important.
Always be a student.
(26:40):
And oh mentor of mine, you saidyou're drilling to me.
Always be a student.
Because when you stop learning, you stop growing.
in order to achieve some of thedream goals that I've achieved,
like becoming a coach becoming apodcast host becoming a paid
speaker, I had to invest inmyself as a, become a student, I
(27:01):
had to invest in courses, I hadto invest in coaching.
Thousands, thousands uponthousands.
I had to invest in books, youknow, I had to really, really
invest in myself to become astudent, to borrow knowledge
from other people, to help meget from point A to point Z.
(27:22):
I needed to know and so When youare ready to start achieving
your goal You have to become astudent become a student and
know that it is okay to pay forknowledge We pay for knowledge
when we go to when we go tocollege.
It is okay to pay for your dreamgoal Knowledge that is going to
(27:43):
help you achieve your dream goalfaster And with more ease, that
is what you pay for.
Sometimes is to get thatknowledge from someone else so
that you can have an easier timeand easier experience.
Not saying that you won't get acomfortable, not saying you
won't be stretched, not sayingyou won't be challenged because
(28:04):
that is going to happen.
However, it is going to give youa more sense of ease because
you're not trying to figureeverything out by yourself.
Invest in yourself, invest inyourself.
If you are trying to achieveyour dream goal again, You can
be courses, it can be coaching,or it can be books.
(28:27):
Or it can simply be watchingYouTube videos.
Hey, there is YouTubeUniversity, right?
That is what that is there for.
However, there's so muchinformation and sometimes all
you need is a simple blueprintthat is going to take you from
point A to point Z and be ableto have someone there to hold
you accountable, right?
(28:48):
Because you know how sometimesyou can start something and not
finish it, but you have someonethere to hold you accountable
and not let you give up onyourself.
It is so important to have thatin your journey into achieving
your dream goal.
Never be afraid to invest inclarity.
Clarity is what is going to giveyou confidence.
(29:09):
So never be afraid to invest inyourself, invest in clarity,
give yourself that confidencethat you need to achieve your
dream goal at a a good pace soyou're not taking forever to do
it or you're not sitting inconfusion because where there is
confusion, there is noconfidence.
I was reading something earlierand it literally said, that
(29:31):
worry is a result of you justnot having all the facts, all
the answers.
That is what worry, that iswhere anxiety comes from.
When you don't know what's goingto happen or when you don't know
how to do something.
That's really all it is.
So getting clarity throughcourses, through coaching,
(29:53):
through books is going to be sohelpful to you.
And so again, if you are readyto pursue your dream goal, if
you are ready to achieve yourdream goal and you want someone
to hold you accountable and youwant to stop trying to figure
things out by yourself and youwant more ease and you want a
strategy to get you from A to Zand helping you feel more
(30:18):
confident in this process, thenjust head to the link in the
description box where you canfind more information and sign
up for the Goal Achiever.
It is a three month groupcoaching program where it is
designed to take you from justthinking about that dream goal
to actually achieving your dreamgoal.
Maybe you're just stuck at goalsetting and you don't actually
(30:39):
take the action because you'reconfused.
You don't have clarity or you,you just don't know and you're
scared.
This is what this program isabout.
Right.
To become that goal achiever sothat you can start rebuilding
that confidence and actuallybecome a person who achieves her
goal, where you're bold andyou're unapologetic and your
(31:02):
pursuit to get anything youwant, right?
You will be feeling unstoppable.
So again, the link is in thedescription box.
If you want to have moreinformation or sign up.
Now the sixth thing that youmust do when you are ready to
start achieving your dream goal.
is to get clarity about why youwant this dream goal.
(31:27):
This is important before youeven start achieving your dream
goal.
Why?
It's because you want to makesure that is your dream goal.
You want to make sure that thisis not someone else's dream
goal.
You want to make sure that thisis not just something that you
think.
think you can have but notactually what you want to have.
(31:50):
That is something that actuallyhappens.
Sometimes we pursue things thatwe think we, that we think we
want or that we feel like we canonly have because maybe it's a
smaller dream goal.
Or maybe someone told us thatthis is the dream goal that you
should do.
However, it's not what youtruly, truly, truly desire.
(32:11):
You don't want to waste time.
We're not about wasting timehere.
Time is of the essence.
So find out why.
Why do you want to achieve thisdream goal?
For me, again, going back tothat reselling, becoming a
reseller is because I reallywanted to be home with my
daughter.
I wanted her to see my faceevery single day, pick her up
(32:32):
from school.
I didn't like before she startedkindergarten.
I did not enjoy being at workand coming home.
11 o'clock at night.
I did not like that other peoplewas picking her up from like
daycare for me.
I hated it.
I was appreciative.
I was grateful that I had peopleto help me, but I did not like
(32:53):
it.
I wanted to be home.
I wanted her to see my face, pick her up from school.
I wanted to be the one doinghomework.
I wanted to do that.
And so that was my why at thetime.
That was my big why.
And so, what is your why?
Because it's gonna keep yougoing through the challenges.
(33:13):
Because you will havechallenges.
You will experience challengesin your in your pursuit of
achieving your dream goal.
If you don't experiencechallenges whatsoever, then you
are not dreaming big enough totrust me.
You are not.
Because it will shred you.
You will cry sometimes.
Right?
It will stretch you.
When you are pursuing your dreamgoal, you will be stretched.
(33:36):
So it is so important to haveclarity on the why.
Why do you want this?
Why?
Because why shouldn't you giveup on yourself?
Who is this for?
If it's not just about you, Youhave a dream goal for multiple
reasons.
And so what is your why?
Because your why will keep yougoing.
So figure out your why and makesure that this is not a goal.
(33:59):
