Hey
ladies, welcome back to another
episode, another video.
Today we are going to be talkingabout how to keep your spark
alive when you are in pursuit ofyour dream goals, but progress
seems to be going a little slow.
Things unmotivated sometimes.
(00:25):
And so I'm going to use some ofthe ways that I've helped me
keep my fire alive, my sparkSpark a life, bring it back to
life so that I can continue topursue and achieve my dream
goals.
So I'm going to give you sometips that is going to help you
as well, especially if you arenow in a season where you are
(00:46):
feeling a little bit at.
a little bit demotivated and Iactually just overcame maybe a
two week period of not feelingthat motivated.
And I use these exact tips.
This is why I want to share withyou guys because today I feel so
good.
I feel so great this week.
(01:06):
And so I hope it helps you aswell.
Alrighty, so number one, one ofthe first ways that I help
myself keep my spark alive, mymotivation alive when progress
seems to be going a little slowis one, I remind myself that all
I can control is the things thatI can control There are so many
(01:31):
things happening that we cannotsee that God is doing his work
in That we don't know what'sgoing to happen, but we can't
control any of that.
All we can do is control what wecan do.
And so all we can do is controlwhat goes in our mind, what, you
know, the thoughts that we tellourselves, the things that we
(01:52):
say to ourselves when we wakeup, when we look at ourselves
every single day the food we'reputting in our body.
Are we, you know, managing ourtime wisely?
We can control those things theinput we can't control.
We can't always control theoutput Eventually, we will read
what we sell eventually, rightthere's a verse that always
(02:16):
always I come back to especiallywhen i'm feeling a little
demotivated and that is do notgrow weary of doing good work
because in due time you willsoon reap.
And I know there's a little bitmore part to that, but I just
know that part and I love thatbecause it's just a good
reminder, especially If you arein pursuit of your dream goals,
(02:39):
especially if it's good goals,if it's, you know, goals that is
going to add to your life andadd into your life is going to
add to someone else's life aswell.
Those are good goals.
And so just reminding yourselfthat this is good, right?
Sooner or later you will Reapyou will reap those benefits So
(03:01):
I love that verse and so I wantyou to remind yourself that you
know, you're doing somethinggood all you can do is control
what you put in today.
That is it.
What you put in today into yourdream goals and you, because you
are a representation of yourdream goals.
At the end of the day, you areyour dream goals.
(03:22):
You become the dream goal andyou would attract that dream
goal.
Goals.
And so number two, the secondway that you can bring your
fire, your Spark back to lifeand get your motivation back
while you are in pursuit of yourdream and goals is to disconnect
from that dream goal.
(03:42):
Just disconnect from it, allowyourself to let it starve a
little bit and then go pour Intoyourself Go pour self care into
yourself That is what I did.
That is what I did for the pastweek and a half Is just allow
myself to pour into myselfAllowing myself to do my hair to
(04:04):
rest, to, you know, to sleep, toeat well.
Those are the type of thingsthat is going to help you get
yourself back to life, back tofeeling good.
Because you are actuallystarting to prioritize yourself
over that goal.
Remember what I said?
You are your goal at the end ofthe day.
(04:26):
You are your dream goal.
Your dream goal is just areflection.
It's just you.
It's a branch, it's just a it'sa part, it's a reflection of who
you are as a person.
So if you're not taking care ofyourself, of course the goal
that you are pursuing, right?
It's going to feel harder, it'sgoing to feel rough around the
(04:48):
edges, it's going to feel likeyou're struggling to make it
happen.
And oftentimes when that'shappening, could be that we are
neglecting a little bit of selfcare, a little bit of rest, a
little bit of just taking careof ourselves.
Also that includes pouring thelove into yourself, you know,
(05:08):
speaking life into yourselfSpeaking good words and pouring
good thoughts making yourselffeel good feel great feel alive
feel radiant that is going to bethe thing to help you bring your
spark alive because you putyourself first you have to learn
to love yourself more than youlove the goal I often found that
(05:33):
when I start to feel A littlemore stress, a little bit
unjoyful, a little bit of, youknow, my spark is out because of
my dream goal.
I often realized that I wasprobably prioritizing that dream
goal over just my love formyself or I was slowly beginning
(05:54):
to attach my worth to that dreamgoal.
So one thing that is reallyimportant is that you learn how
to detach your worth from yourdream goal.
This is also a part of selflove, it's a part of self care,
right?
Learning to detach your worthfrom that goal and know that you
are Love you are taking care ofthat you are important and you
(06:17):
are valuable outside of thisgoal So you deserve to
disconnect from it a little bitget away from it because when
you come back guess what?
You're gonna feel alive.
That spark is gonna be readyYou're gonna feel good and
you're gonna write you're gonnafeel ready To Just go at it.
You're gonna feel ready to giveyour all because you just filled
(06:38):
your cup up We cannot pour froman empty cup.
We can we can barely pour from ahalf of a cup So pour from a cup
that is full but that takes youpouring into yourself pouring
into your self care.
I Wrote down so many notes, butI kind of skipped over a little
bit So I'm gonna go back to whatI actually was going to say.
(07:00):
So self care for me It reallylooks like just getting out
Getting rid of a lot of what Ilike this what I like to say the
toxins right the unhelpfulFeelings unhelpful thoughts that
are held up within me And sowhat I do what I tend to do what
I did this week is just allowmyself To cry to boohoo to get
(07:24):
it out allow myself to screamallow myself to be hurt
frustrated.
This is also a part of self careis being able to remove, remove,
you know, emotions, trappedemotions out of your body.
Be able to shake it off, be ableto get it out so that you can
bring your spark back up.
(07:46):
And so for me, what tends tohappen is that once I get all of
my cry out, once I, you know, have a nice boo hoo session and
get it out, there's a switchthat happens.
And that switch is spark.
fire lights up within you andyou're, and you just be like.
And I'd be like, that's it,like, I'm back, I'm back, right?
(08:12):
We're going all in even more oryou feel unstoppable, like once
you start getting everythingoutside of yourself.
And then you also get this burstof energy of like, let's go.
I'm excited.
I'm ready to start again.
I'm ready to, you know, continueto believe in myself the way I
(08:32):
see myself.
Because you just got to get allof that look out of you.
And so one thing that I like todo, I shared this before is
something that I recommend youas well is to, take my journal
and to write out what feels goodand what doesn't feel good.
So that way I can separatewhat's going on, like what truly
(08:54):
doesn't feel good right now.
Why don't I feel this way?
Why, why do I feel?
Why do I feel not so motivated?
Why do I feel a little doubtful?
Why do I feel this way?
So when I'm able to pinpointthat, then I'm able to clear it
up and speak life onto that, speak affirmations onto that.
To me, that is my self caresession.
(09:16):
This is when I disconnect fromthe goal and allow myself to
pour in to me.
So the third way that I bring myspark back to life when I am
feeling icky, unmotivated.
When I am in pursuit of my dreamgoals.
That is to listen tomotivational videos,
(09:40):
motivational podcasts,motivational speeches.
I love it.
And so I shared this before.
There was a time when, you know, when you're feeling unmotivated,
you're feeling frustrated, you're feeling like not very
hopeful.
there was a time when I used tosay, you know what, I'm not
going to listen to anything.
(10:01):
I'm not going to pray.
I'm not going to do any of thosethings.
However, what I realized insteadof just pulling away, actually
pull towards, pull yourselftowards what you actually need.
And what I learned fromlistening to motivational is why
it gets my spark back up isbecause, because one, you get to
(10:23):
hear other people's story andthat motivational video.
And so, it, It's like, it startsto remind you that you're not
the only one.
You are not the only one who haswent through hard times.
You're not the only one who hasstruggled.
You're not the only one who hasfailed or made mistakes.
(10:44):
You are not the only one who'sinvested so much time or
invested so much money or, youknow, sacrificed so much.
relationships or sacrifice time, you are not the only one.
And somehow they still made itright.
They still achieve their dreamgoal, achieve a level of
(11:04):
success.
Similar to what you are lookingfor, similar to what you are
striving for.
And so I love hearing stories.
I love hearing motivationalspeeches because it's like,
okay, all right.
It's just reminding you to,we're not about to stay down.
We're about to keep going up upand up cry for a little bit get
(11:26):
it out Get the cries out takecare of yourself pour into
yourself, but it's time to getback up.
So motivational videosmotivational podcast like find
the ones that you know Thatspeaks to you find the ones that
needs to rough you up a littlebit and shake you up a little
bit And so motivation is abeautiful thing.
(11:50):
So find something that speaks toyou.
Find something that speaks toyour heart.
The fourth way that I bring myspark back to life and I start
feeling motivated again topursue my dream goals and the
way that I, I know that I canpursue it is I disconnect from
social media.
(12:10):
Disconnect from social mediawhen you are feeling, you know,
demotivated when you are notfeeling very lively or when
you're not feeling very joyfulin your pursuit because at the
end of the day We are on socialmedia.
Yes to socialize, but we alsowatching other people pursuing
(12:32):
their dream goals, especiallysomething that is similar to
what you are trying to pursue, similar to something that you
are working to achieve.
That is a okay.
We chair them on still, right?
However, because you're in thismindset of not feeling very
motivated.
(12:53):
You're going to see your, yourawareness is going to pick up
things of people beingsuccessful and their pursuit of
their dream goals.
And what's that going to do foryou?
It's going to make you startfeeling, you know, doubtful
questioning yourself, why youComparison is truly the thief of
(13:14):
joy.
Is a thief of joy.
I've experienced it time andtime and time again.
Every time I got into a state ofcomparison, I felt icky.
I felt uneasy.
unjoyful, if that's even a word.
I didn't feel very joyful.
My spark went out, my fire, mydrive went down because I went
(13:34):
outside of myself and I focusedon someone else and seeing what
they were doing better than meand I started to put myself
down.
So if you want to bring thatspark back alive, not saying
like, you know, fully get rid ofsocial media, 100%.
But disconnect from it when youare in a state of your fight
(13:58):
going out a little bit.
Just disconnect from it.
And again, go back to pouringinto yourself.
this is the beauty of a learninghow to mind your business.
Learning how to mind yourbusiness is going to help you
keep your spark alive.
The more I mind my business, Ifeel like the better I am.
(14:19):
The more I mind my business.
And even though, again, we wantto socialize, we want to see
what other people are doing.
That's just human nature.
We want to, we want to knowwhat's going on, right?
That's human nature.
But when you have goals, whenyou have strong ambition and you
are in pursuit and you areworking to achieve and you are
(14:42):
not feeling very motivated andyour light feels a little bit
dim, then It's time to notdefinitely not look outward.
It's time to go back toconnecting with yourself.
And so that is something elsethat I did over these past two
weeks to get my spark back up.
(15:03):
The fifth way that I bring myspark back to life when I am
pursuing my dream goals and Ifeel a little bit demotivated,
what I do is to power up myaffirmations.
Power them up.
I write them all out on myjournal and then also I have an
(15:24):
affirmation vow.
I will probably put it in thedescription box so you guys can
grab it, but it's such apowerful vowel that I love to
read.
Actually, I think there's avideo up about it.
So, I think there's a videowhere you can actually hear the,
hear the affirmation vowel andyou can grab it if you want to.
But This vowel speaks wonders.
(15:46):
This vowel does wonders, but Iup my affirmations because that
goes back again into self care, speaking life into yourself,
because that's going to fuelyour cup.
That's going to make you feelbetter about yourself.
So to give you some examples ofsome of the affirmations that I
use is telling myself that Ideserve my dream goals.
(16:09):
I deserve my dream goals.
I am worthy of it.
Another one that I really, really love to do is I love to
use is a lot of times like axformations.
I love ax formations.
So ax formations is askingyourself a question and your
mind is automatically going tohave a response.
(16:31):
And so, for example, a lot oftimes I like to ask myself, Why
do I deserve my dream goals?
And in my mind, I go because I'mworthy of my dream goals.
Why is everything working outfor me?
Because everything's supposed towork out for me.
Why am I important?
Because I just am.
(16:52):
Or whatever reason that you comeup with, your mind is going to
go there.
And so I love affirmations.
That is something that I love todo to get my spark back.
Another kind of set ofaffirmations that I love to do
is speak to my goals as if mygoals was a person.
(17:12):
So I mentioned this before thatyour goal is in relationship to
you.
Your goal is relationship.
Yay.
So it's like you're dating.
So a lot of times I like to useaffirmations, like if there's a
specific goal.
Goal.
Thank you for wanting me just asmuch as I want you.
Thank you for loving me just asmuch as I love you.
(17:35):
If it's something about money, money, thank you for loving me.
Thank you for wanting me back.
Thank you for providing for me.
Thank you for taking care of me.
Those are affirmations tailortowards the goal, but speaking
love to that goal as if it's ina relationship, because it is,
speak to it as if it's a person.
And then one of my favorite, favorite, favorite, favorite,
(17:57):
favorite affirmations to say isI have everything within me.
To be better, do better, havebetter.
I have everything within me tochange my life.
I have everything within me toachieve my dream goal.
Why is this my favoriteaffirmation to use?
(18:17):
It's because I And remindingmyself that is nothing outside
of me that I need to bring thegoal that I want to achieve to
life.
There is nothing outside of me.
There is nothing outside of youto bring your dream goals to
life.
You have everything you need.
You have a mouth that can talk.
You have a mind that canimagine, that can think of
(18:39):
creative things.
You have a brain that works.
You have hands that can type.
You have You have everything inyour body that you need to
truly, truly change your life,to achieve your dream goals,
everything at your fingertips, everything within you.
And so, it's just a reminder, myfavorite affirmation is that I
(18:59):
have everything within me to dowhatever it is that you want to
do.
be better, do better, havebetter.
Be more, do more, have more, right?
Everything within you to changeyour life.
So still that affirmation is sopowerful.
It's so great.
Let it bring your spark back tolife while you're in pursuit of
your dream goals.
(19:20):
If you're feeling demotivated,if it feels slow right now, this
is going to help you get it backup.
Okay, the sixth way that I bringmy spark back to life when
progress is feeling so slow andI feel demotivated is I cast my
burdens on the Christ within meand I set myself free, right?
(19:44):
And so a lot of times.
When we're feeling demotivated, what do we feel?
We're feeling a little fear.
We're feeling a littlefrustration.
We're feeling doubtful.
We may have some anxiety.
We feel negative, right?
And so what I love to do is tocast Those burdens because those
(20:04):
are things that are held outwithin us.
This is also a part of releasingthose trapped emotions that's
within you.
This is another part of justreleasing, right, releasing
unhelpful blocks, and this tendsto be a block, is the fear, the
anxiety, the doubt, thecomparison, the jealousy, the
anger, the frustration.
(20:25):
All of those things can beblocked and we need to get it
out.
We need to declutter.
We need to be able to declutterall of that out of us so that we
can put new feelings within us.
Whether that is comparison andjealousy, whether that is
worrying about, if it's going tohappen, if it's going to come
true, that anxiety, whether thatis a fear of judgment or
(20:47):
embarrassment.
I like to cast those burdensbecause that is just a burden.
It's a block and it's blockingyou from really Shining your
light is blocking you fromreally Being a spark having that
fire lit up while you are inpursuit of your goals So cast
that burden on the christ withinyou and set yourself free Of
(21:10):
course if this aligns with yourbelief then hey use it But if it
doesn't then use So I'm going togo ahead and just use some of
the next ones, the other goals.
However, to me, every time I dothis, I feel so much better.
I feel like I am in controlagain, being in control, taking
responsibility of gettingyourself back getting yourself
(21:31):
to feeling good and gettingthose things out of you.
Because we don't need it in theseventh way that I spark life
back into my dream goal.
I start feeling good andmotivated again and that is I
take action as if I.
New.
(21:52):
My dream goals was going to mydream goal was going to manifest
tomorrow or next week.
So again, going back to thedoubt, right?
A lot of times when we'refeeling demotivated, we're not
feeling excited and our light isgoing down is because we Are
feeling like the our goal is notgoing to manifest.
(22:14):
We feel like it's taken toolong.
We feel like, you know, we'rerunning out of time.
We feel like we it's so manyfeelings that happen.
That is causing your your sparkto go out a little bit.
However, I like to trick mymind, trick my mind and ask
myself, okay, all of this isjust noise, right?
(22:36):
All of those thoughts, all ofthose feelings is just
distractions.
What if, what if I actually wasgoing to, Achieve my dream goal
tomorrow, or achieve my dreamgoal next week.
What if?
What would I do today?
What would I do today?
And so, I do that.
(22:57):
And I allow myself to do that, because what happens is this.
When you are Pouring into yourcreativity.
When you're pouring into yourgoals, eventually, even if it
doesn't feel good in the moment, eventually you're gonna see some
light and your spark is going tocome back.
(23:18):
Yes, you still have to do thoseother things, right?
You still have to speakaffirmations.
You still have to releasetrapped emotions.
You still have to cast thoseburdens.
You still have to get thosethings out.
You still have to do self care.
And all of that, especially ifyou're still going to be taking
action But take action as if itwas going to manifest because
(23:40):
that is going to spark somethingin you eventually it will,
because you're going to seesomething and you're going to be
like, Ooh, you're remindingyourself of how good it feels.
You're reminding yourself thatyou have it.
can do this.
And then you're tricking yourmind and getting your mind
excited that, Ooh, this is goingto come true.
So let me get into position andlet me really take care of
(24:02):
myself.
Let me really pour into myselfand get myself energized because
I deserve this.
I want this.
I'm worth it.
Let's get in.
So act as if your dream goal wasgoing to manifest tomorrow, next
week, next month, and takeaction as if that was coming
(24:23):
true and see what happens.
And see how you spark that firewithin you again.
And so the eighth way that Ilike to bring my spark back to
life when progress is feelingslow, when I feel demotivated
and I truly want my dream goalsto come true.
But I need to get my fire up.
What do I do is I may trysomething different.
(24:46):
Try something different.
A lot of times when things seema little bit boring, seems a
little bit stagnant and thingsare moving really slow is
because we're doing the samething over and over and over
again.
expecting different results.
And that's the definition ofinsanity, but we're doing the
same thing over and over again.
And of course, you know, we'regoing to feel demotivated.
(25:10):
If we're getting the sameresults, of course, we're not
going to feel good.
Of course, that spark is goingto go down.
Right?
So sometimes when I know thatI'm I need to do something
different and my goals my bodywill tell me if I need to do
something different It needs apivot or I need to try something
different Whatever that may looklike for you Try something
(25:33):
different Try somethingdifferent it's going to get you
excited.
It's gonna get you motivatedagain Because now you're going
to be looking and at a differentangle now, you're going to be
trying something differentexperimenting Opening More of
your mind opening, more of yourcreativity that brings your
(25:55):
spark back to life when you trysomething different.
And then guess what?
Maybe, just maybe you will getdifferent results, right?
And so just do somethingdifferent, romanticize it, play
around with it, play around withyour dream goal.
It's just like when you'redating somebody and you're doing
the same thing over and overagain, what happens?
(26:17):
You seem bored, you getdemotivated you don't, you know,
it doesn't feel like that sparkis alive.
Same thing with your goals.
Your goals is in a relationshipto you.
So how can you get that sparkup?
How can you romanticize it andtry something different?
be romantic with your goal girl.
(26:37):
Be romantic with it, right?
Jazz it up.
Think differently just dodifferent.
Be different.
While you are pursuing yourdream goals it's going to get
your fire back to life.
And so like I mentioned before,if you want to borrow the
confidence vow that I created, then I will go ahead and put the
(26:59):
link in the description box.
So you can go ahead and get yourcopy.
So just to rehash what we wentover and how to bring your spark
back to life, keep you motivatedwhile you are in pursuit of your
dream goals, especially ifprogress is going a little bit
slow.
That is one is to remindyourself that all you can
control is what you can control.
(27:22):
God is doing everything else.
That is it.
We can't control what we cannotcontrol.
And so allow that to help youbring your spark back to life.
The second way is to pour intoyourself care, disconnect from
your dream goal, disconnect fromit and pour into yourself care.
Love yourself.
(27:43):
More than you love your goal, right?
It's it's getting you back toprioritizing You over your dream
goal because your dream goal isjust a reflection of you The
fruit of your dream goal is justa reflection of you The third
was listen to motivationalspeeches motivational books,
whatever it is To get you pumpedup.
(28:04):
You're getting from otherpeople's story.
You're borrowing their beliefs.
You're borrowing.
You are borrowing theirconfidence.
You're borrowing theirmotivation.
You're borrowing what they didto get themselves to the finish
line.
That's what you're borrowing.
So Motivational for is I justdisconnect from social media
(28:26):
when I need to spark my firebecause you know, I don't want
to see You know to keep it real, right?
You don't want to see all thegood that's happening in someone
else's life Right now when yourfire is like dimming out a
little bit.
Yes Always still celebrate.
However, allow yourself to behuman and know that no, you
(28:47):
don't want to see that right nowYou just don't so disconnect
from social media The fifth wayis I power up my affirmations
power it up speak life on itagain ax formations Speak in
love to your goals And myfavorite again was I have
everything within me to bebetter do better have better or
(29:09):
to achieve Anything or achievegreatness you put at the end
which one that you want to putthe six was casting your burdens
casting your burdens of fear ofanxiety of judgment of
comparison Honor christ withinyou and set yourself free Free,
get it out.
All those unhelpful feelingsthat we are holding onto, that
(29:32):
you are holding onto.
Get it out so that you can getyour spark back up.
We are decluttering, right?
Cast your burdens and setyourself free.
Seven is take action as if youknew your dream goal was going
to manifest tomorrow.
Take action.
Right?
Action can be a.
(29:53):
Motivator for motivation.
It leads to motivation sometimeswhen you take action, because
when you take action, guesswhat?
You start seeing results.
You start seeing movement.
If it's not your goalimmediately, it results within
you.
So, take action.
Act as if.
(30:15):
Number eight was to trysomething different.
Bring that spark back to life.
Romanticize your pursuit of yourdream goal.
Right?
Make it joyful.
Make an experiment.
Play around with it.
Bring it back to life.
So ladies, I hope all of thesetips help you.
(30:36):
If you are feeling a little bit,you know, fired down, you're not
feeling so motivated, you're notfeeling like your spark is lit
and you are, you know, shiningand radiant in your pursuit of
achieving your dream goals, thenuse some of these tips to help
(30:56):
you, to help you get your spark.
So I'm going to be talking abouthow to get back to life, to lit
that fire, because it's helpedme.
Like I said, just literally lastweek.
I'm in a process.
This result that you see rightnow is.
What me overcoming, feelingdemotivated, feeling a little
(31:16):
doubtful.
It happens.
It happens to the best of us.
But these are all of the thingsthat I did to Spark my light
again to spark my fire to for meto show up as I'm showing up
right now So that is it fortoday's video And until next
time go getters.
(31:37):
Bye
