squadcaster-860d_2_12-10-20 (00:06):
Hey ladies, welcome back to another
episode today.
We are going to be talking aboutlearning how to connect with
your voice.
It is so important to learn howto connect with your own voice.
And today we are going to betalking about why it's so

(00:26):
important to learn how toconnect with your own voice and
how.
You are going to begin to learnto connect with your voice.
All right, so let's go ahead andget into it.
So why is it that we are sodisconnected from our own voice?
The reason why is because wehave so much noise in our ears.

(00:48):
We have noise from just societyin general.
We have noise from my friends.
We have noise from my family.
We just have so much noise andsometimes we look for those
noises as well.
However, what I learned thatthis caused from my own personal
experience is that I It hascaused me to have unnecessary

(01:11):
overwhelm, stress, and selfdoubt.
It has caused me to suppress myown desires.
It also has caused me to losesight.
With my own creativity and myown perspective, my own insight.
And your voice is so, soimportant one thing I learned is

(01:32):
that your voice can change yourentire life.
Your voice can, your voice isyour money.
Your voice is your money.
There's so much power in yourability to communicate, there's
so much power in your insidevoice, there's so much power in
your external voice, there's somuch power.

(01:53):
There's so many things that youcan do as a expression of your
own voice, such as YouTube, suchas podcasting, such as creating
a blog, photography writing abook art.
There are so many differentexpressions of voices out there.

(02:14):
And that's just the beauty ofbeing able to connect with your
own voice.
When you can connect to your ownvoice and put it out into the
world, your life will change.
Your life will change.
The reason why I say that yourlife can absolutely change when
you learn to connect with yourvoice, not just because of

(02:36):
money, but more so because themore you start connecting to
your voice, the more you connectwith your purpose.
In order for you to fulfill yourpurpose in this life, in some
way shape or form you have to beable to learn how to Connect
with your voice and then useyour voice Through that

(02:58):
connection that you have useyour voice and put it out into
the world in whichever way againLike I said, whether that is
Creating blogging that iscreating a business.
Your business is the expressionof your voice.
Your voice is your insight.
Your voice is your creativity.
Your voice is your dreams.
Your voice is your ideas, right?

(03:21):
Your imagination.
All of that is a reflection of.
Your own voice that inner voice, being transformed externally.
This is something that I teachin my course, Impact and Attract
because impact is always goingto be a reflection of your voice
from your own personalexperiences, from your ideas,

(03:42):
from your creativity.
And that impact from your voiceis a reflection of you putting
out into the world, a part ofyour purpose.
And so this is something that Iteach because We all want to
feel connected to our purpose.
We all want to learn how to useour own voice and be able to put

(04:02):
it out into the world.
There are so many women in thisworld who are so disconnected
from their own voice.
They don't know themselves.
They don't know what they want.
They don't know, you know, whatthey have to offer.
They don't know the impact thatthey can create.
They don't know the change thatthey can make.
That's all connected to yourvoice being able to connect with

(04:26):
yourself and discarding notfully discarding but lowering
the voice of everyone else ifeveryone else and heighten your
volume heighten your intuitionheighten your creativity.
So let's go ahead and get intohow How are you going to be able

(04:49):
to connect with your own voiceand number one is Really
answering what it is that youwant.
That's the first thing we needto know what we want.
When we don't know what we wantWe have confusion There's no
clarity And that causes a lackof confidence in being able to

(05:12):
connect with your voice andbeing able to use your voice.
So what is it that you wantremember how I said like from my
personal experiences Because Ihad the voices of so many people
In my ear of what I should bedoing Of can I do this?
That is not the right way to goBecause I had those voices.

(05:35):
I suppressed my desires.
I suppressed a lot of my desiresuntil You I had to learn to
connect with my own voice andsay actually No, I can do this.
This is what I want and this isthe way that i'm going to go
because my voice Is leading mylife, right?

(05:58):
No one else and so You have toget clear on what you want when
you know what you want You aregoing to be able to learn how to
turn the volume up And you're inyour body turn the volume up of
your own voice and be able tosurprise lower the voices of
others because you're going torealize when you learn to

(06:20):
connect with your own voice, then that is going to change
your life.
You're going to learn so muchabout yourself that you don't
even know.
All So now the second thing.
That you are going to do tolearn how to connect with your
voice is create, create, create, create This is going to be Key

(06:45):
and you learning how to connectwith your voice.
So just like I said, how Youconnect into your voice can lead
to your purpose It canabsolutely lead to your purpose
and i've learned this from mypersonal experience and this was
through creation You So when Istarted my podcast, that was my

(07:06):
first form of starting to sharemy voice, started to share what
I thought was interesting, whatI want to impact people with,
what I want to inspire, what mypersonal experience was.
And within that, I was able toconnect.

(07:27):
With my purpose, but that onlyhappened through creation.
That only happened throughcreation As women you are
natural born creators.
We are all creators here, right?
God put it god put us here tocreate create life to create we
have purpose and to build outthat purpose through creation so

(07:50):
You as especially you as womenwe create life Literally, we
create babies.
So you have so much power whenyou create, you have so much
juiciness inside of you.
You have so much ideas that isjust sitting inside of you that
you don't even connect with, butit's there and it's in you and

(08:15):
you naturally create from yourbody.
We produce milk, we producebabies, we create, we create so
many things.
So like I said in the beginning, how can you start creating?
How can you start creating?
How can you start creating withusing your voice?
Again, I mentioned, the best wayfrom my personal experience to

(08:37):
do it is again, throughpodcasting, through YouTube,
through creating a blog, throughdoing, I don't know, if you want
to be a photographer.
An artist, dancing, being achoreographer.
These are all expressions ofyour voice and every woman,

(08:58):
every woman has a voice.
Every woman should, should bedoing one of these or finding
your own way to share yourvoice.
The best way to do it isaudibly, audibly, audibly,
visually being able to.
Share your voice and the reasonwhy Is because when you do that

(09:21):
You're able to connect withothers you're able to impact
others You're able to inspireothers All right, you're able to
relate to others just throughsharing your voice, your
insight, and honestly, guys,it's so through your personal
experiences, don't doubt yourpersonal experiences.

(09:46):
Don't put it down.
Everything that's happened toyou.
Not all of it was happening foryou, but there has been a lot of
things that was happening foryou.
And that was forming your ownvoice.
Being able to connect with thatvoice and you can create from
your personal experiences.
You can create and you canchange lives.

(10:09):
That's why that's what you seewith everyone that has
something, every entrepreneur, every business owner, every
thought leader, what did theyuse?
They use their creativity andthat creativity, it all came
from their internal voice, nomatter if it came out visually,
no matter if it came out audiblyor became on paper, whatever.

(10:32):
It came out in some way shape orform and that was all through
creation.
The more you create the more youconnect with your own voice the
more you create The more youconnect with your own voice.
So let me give you one moreexample about what I mean of the
more you create, the more youare able to connect with your
own voice.

(10:53):
So when I first startedpodcasting, I just thought that
I needed to have people that Iwas interviewing because I
didn't know how to Trust my ownvoice.
I didn't feel like I had avoice.
I didn't know if people wantedto listen to me So I felt like
let me just have interviews.
Let me interview a whole bunchof people but I had this deep

(11:16):
desire and I kept feeling thissense of this sense of
unfulfillment Like it was justlike this cloudy Feeling of i'm
not putting my voice out therebecause of that i'm still
suppressing my desire And sowhen I started practicing doing
some more solo episodes It wasvery very very uncomfortable but

(11:42):
what happened in that discomfortis that I Started learning my
voice and I started liking myvoice.
I started liking my insight andI started to believe in that
insight.
I started to believe like, Ooh,okay, girl, that's pretty good.

(12:02):
That's pretty good.
And what happened with that isthat people started reflecting
back to me that they like whatI'm saying.
Opportunities.
Okay.
Started opening up for me when Istarted using my voice versus
Overshadowing that voice withhaving guests Opportunities

(12:25):
speaking engagements that Ididn't even have to chase down
because I started using my ownvoice people telling me I
inspired them because I startedto connect with my own voice.
It is uncomfortable learning howto connect with your own voice,
but it's so worth it It is soworth it.
And so I want to share that withyou Not just to show you not

(12:46):
just to tell you all theopportunities But I wanted to
share that with you because atone point I was, even though I
was creating content, I stillwas disconnected from my own
voice.
And that only stayed that wayuntil I started creating solo
content because that's whatallowed me to get out all the

(13:10):
things that I wanted to talkabout and learn how to trust
myself.
The third way that you are goingto learn how to start connecting
to your voice is, and I know mesinging is, even though I'm
creating a platform, is I wantyou to learn how to minimize,
not stop, but minimize listeningto YouTube videos, podcasts

(13:36):
short forms, TikTok videos, andblogs of you know Just learning
so much or listening todifferent people now The reason
why I say this because I dothink I do truly believe unless
I wouldn't be creating thisplatform I wouldn't be using my
voice.

(13:56):
I truly believe in listening tomotivational videos.
I truly believe in learninglearning through youtube
learning through podcasts Itruly believe in being inspired
by watching people's videos.
I believe in that 1, 000 percentor I wouldn't be here doing
this.
I truly believe that.
However, what from my experienceAnd even a recent experience

(14:23):
which really caused this episodewhich really inspired this
episode today this video todayis one It causes information
overload.
That's number one.
It causes information overloadand that goes into Again being
overwhelmed and stressed out forno reason because there's so

(14:44):
much information What that doesalso too is taking on too many
different perspectives is youbegin to lose a little bit touch
with your own perspective, withyour own insight, and it starts
to be a little bit clashing, Youstart questioning your insight,

(15:08):
your intuition, especially ifthat's something that you
actually know deep down inside.
If your body is telling you todo something, but then you,
you're listening, to so manydifferent perspectives.
And one person's telling you todo this.
And one person's saying, do itthis way.
And then one person's saying, doit this way.
Then what happens is thatyou're, you don't know, you're

(15:31):
like, you don't know.
And then you disconnect fromyour own intuition.
Your intuition is your voice, your voice, your perspective.
Your desires.
What do you want?
So too many differentperspectives too many different
voices can block out your voiceIt doesn't mean turn it off.

(15:52):
It just means turn it down turnit down Minimize it.
When I realized when I startedto feel myself getting
overwhelmed because i'm learningSo I'm learning a lot I'm a
constant learner and there'ssomething that I'm truly trying
to learn how to get better atand with that being said I'm

(16:15):
listening to different videosand I started to feel my body
shutting down.
I started to feel myself gettingoverwhelmed and like anxious
Because I didn't know what I wasdoing right or I wasn't doing
wrong and then I said, you knowwhat?
No, what do I want?
How do I want to do this?

(16:36):
I'm gonna take bits and piecesfrom these people But that's it.
I turn it off.
That's it.
I'm not listening to any more ofthese videos for like a month
Because sometimes it has to belike that We have to learn down.
We have to learn how to turndown the volume Of others and
turn up our volume learn whatyou need to learn and close it

(17:01):
close the podcast Close theyoutube videos close the blog
close Instagram and tiktok rightnot forever But just temporarily
so that you can learn how toconnect with your own voice.
Your voice your voice listen toyour own voice and go create
that's gonna change your lifeThat's what's going to attract,

(17:24):
you know, your dreamopportunities to you.
That's what's going to attractyour dream life to your dream
goals, to your dream business,to you by learning how to
connect with your voice and gocreate with that voice.
It is literally as simple asthat.
Know what you want, connect withthat voice and go create.

(17:46):
Simple, as simple as that.
So minimize it or learn how tojust have a balance and know
when it's time for you to justsay, I don't want to listen to
this anymore.
It's time for me to actuallylisten to my own voice.
You will feel it.
You'll feel it.
When you feel that overwhelmed, you will know when it's time to
shut it down and to shut itdown.

(18:08):
All right.
So number five is journaleverything.
Journaling is such a powerfulway to learn how to connect with
your own voice.
One thing that I love to do andI think I've shared this before
Is writing down what feels good?
What doesn't what feels good?

(18:28):
What doesn't feel good?
What are my desires?
down everything, writing down myfeelings.
If I'm crying, why am I cryingthis way?
If I'm happy writing those out, this is how you learn how to
connect with your own voicebecause you get it out of your
head and you get it onto paperand then you can see it in plain

(18:51):
view.
You can see it.
When you can see something onpaper, you can learn how to
connect with your voice.
I don't care what it is justjournal.
One thing that I was reading Ijust started reading this book
and it's called.
Oh, man It's called somethingi'll put it in the description
box, but it is art is somethingor creativity something however

(19:15):
In the book the very firstchapter the author tells us How
to Connect more to ourcreativity is to do this thing
called morning pages And morningpages is something where you
write three pages every morningOf anything any and everything
and the reason why she advised

(19:36):
Hey guys, so sorry while I'mediting this video, I realized
that When my internet went out,it cut a huge part of what I was
just explaining.
But what I was saying is thatthe morning pages, the reason
why she advised this is becauseshe wanted one, wanted her
readers to be able to get outeverything, to get things out of

(20:00):
your mind, to get things, youknow, to get your feelings out
and get it out on paper becausewhen we hold so many things
inside that's causing us toblock our creativity, our mind
holds so much energy, thethoughts hold so much energy,
and that's a huge reason whywe're so disconnected from our

(20:23):
own voice and so disconnectedfrom from our creativity.
Every morning, get out on paper, write it out three morning pages
so that we can start connectingback to that innate creativity
that again, that as women thatwe have is our divine right to

(20:45):
have that creativity.
We were born with massivecreativity.
We create life and thatcreativity is really connected
to our voice.
We need our voice to be able tocreate the way that we truly
desire to create, we need ourvoice.
And so that's why she wasadvising her readers to do

(21:08):
morning pages to get it out.
Even if you don't believe thatis anything valuable, you're
just writing.
everything out.
It doesn't matter.
whatever it is.
When you get that out so thatyou can actually learn to get
things out of your own mind, quiet your mind and be able to
tune in and connect withyourself and ignite that

(21:31):
creativity that you have.
All right.
So let me get back to the actualvideo.
Sorry guys.
My internet went out just likeout the blue.
So I had to switch from mycomputer to my phone.
However, if you want to takethis a step further, if you want
to learn, How to connect withyour voice on an even deeper

(21:51):
level and how to make impactfrom that voice And from that
impact be able to attract yourdesires to be able to attract
amazing opportunities with easeand less effort just from using
your voice Just from creatingfrom your voice to impact and
inspire..
Then go toCleapatraWilliams.Com.

(22:13):
Take a look at Impact andattract and see if you would
like to join and see if it's foryou.
If this is something that youwant to do, then I'm so happy to
have you.
All right, so now how you aregoing to be able to tell if it
is truly not your voice.
These are the things that i'venoticed.
When I realized when I feel Thatthis is not my voice.

(22:38):
This is someone else's voiceoverriding my voice These are
the few things that i've noticedIt limits me.
I feel restricted.
So those limiting beliefs, Ifeel like I either cant do
something or it's either toohard for me.
I just have so much restrictionaround something when I know

(22:59):
that it's not my voice.
Another thing to tell when it'snot your voice is You feel
extremely anxious, you feelanxious, you feel overwhelmed
because you're either taking toomuch information in that you
don't know how to get out of thenoise, get the noise out of your
mind and just connect withyourself.

(23:20):
So that is another way to beable to tell that you, that you
are not tapped into that trueinner voice.
Okay.
The next way to tell if you'renot connected to your voice is
you do not feel creative.
You don't feel creativewhatsoever.

(23:41):
You feel like it's either toohard to create.
You don't feel inspired.
You either have impostersyndrome around it, This is how
you know when you're notconnected to your own voice,
that creativity is blocked.
It doesn't seem fun.
It feels cloudy, right?
So that is a huge sign that youare not connected to your voice.

(24:03):
In another one, this also ties alittle bit into limiting beliefs
and feeling restrict, restricted, but the self doubt,
self doubt overwhelms becausemaybe people telling you, you
can't do this, you can't dothat.
Or you heard that it wasimpossible that you've created
so much self, self doubt foryourself from the voices of

(24:24):
childhood, from school, fromfriends, from family.
Or just seeing other people, those self doubts.
That's when you know it's notyour voice.
Sometimes it's good to have thevoices of other people when
they're speaking life, right?
A little bit more life into usversus them with ourselves.
To borrow someone else's strongbelief of goodness and

(24:47):
greatness, then that's good.
Right.
But when there isn't so muchself doubt, if it's not speaking
life, if it's not lifting you upand igniting your life force,
igniting your passion, ignitingyour excitement, then it is not
your voice or is a voice thatyou need to turn down.

(25:08):
So that you can learn how toturn your voice up higher.
All right.
So that is it ladies for today'svideo.
That is it for today's episode.
If you love content like this, then make sure you go ahead and
give me a thumbs up.
I really appreciate it.
Let me know what you think.
Also, I am launching a brand newcommunity for entrepreneurs.

(25:33):
New, aspiring, been anentrepreneur for a few years.
It is called the Thriving InnerCircle.
This is a community that is allabout building connection,
building friendship with peoplewho, you know, share passions
like you share.
and have a similar mindset oreven a more expanded mindset.

(25:55):
This is all about connectionbecause I know from first
personal experience, how lonelyentrepreneurship can be.
It can be very lonely.
It can be very isolating and weneed this.
We need this with other amazingwomen who are ready to thrive,
who are thriving already.
And so if this feels Inalignment with you with what

(26:19):
you're looking for Then head tothe link in the description box
or go to cleapatrawilliams.comAll the information that I
mentioned impact and attract Aswell, it's going to be mentioned
is going to be mentioned in adescription box as well, ladies.
All right.
So that is it for today.
I look forward to seeing you inthe next episode and until next

(26:43):
time.
