Desperate for security, he sought political alliances rather than divine promises. But God’s answer to national crisis wasn't a military strategy; it was a child, born of a Virgin—Immanuel. The series explores Emmanuel's promise, the Davidic King, John the Baptist as forerunner, and reaches its climax with the Nativity.
