The party does battle with the cultists of Mak Thuum Ngatha, The Blood Queen and their summoned avatar.
The violet flames are extinguished and some part of the summoning is interrupted... the visage of The Blood Queen is seen in the starscape on the ceiling as it is dispelled.
Cutter deals the final blow against the avatar with a magical arrow, unleashing an explosion of blood and viscera on the entire party.
The party then investigates the remainder of the lighthouse, discovering a large room with writings of Mak Thuum Ngatha carved into the stone walls.
Wick the lighthouse keeper is bound and left for dead, with Nib questioning him about his parents before leaving him in a very sorry state.
Klaus the crab-armed man insists on becoming the lighthouse keeper, bidding the party goodbye.
The party free the door now known as Rodney from his hinges and take him aboard their ship, making repairs and setting sail again for Candlekeep in the south.
As the group continues their sea journey, two large, red, winged creatures are seen sailing rapidly towards their ship...
