Delving further and further into the hill, the group ended up in an altercation with a group of very angry, grotesque Madcaps with fleshy, bell covered hats and heavy steel boots. Where hats or boots started and their body ended... no one could tell...
After retreating into his shell where he thought it was safe, several Madcaps then proceeded to beat the snot out of him, rendering him very unconscious.
Two Soul Shakers (very handy) joined the fray, but were no match for the group in the end.
Tired and weary from the battle, the group huddled into a dead end cavern to attempt a long rest, only to be interrupted by wandering followers of Ureks...
