From The Cloakwood to the west, chanting and drums are heard. The group goes to investigate after Uggh determines they are speaking in Druidic.
A commune of sorts of Aarakocra Druids wearing bloody robes was found... though after some mingling and investigation it was determined they were up to nothing untoward...
The following day, the group witnessed a colossal shape streaking down through the sky, blotting out the sun for the briefest of moments, impacting with the ground and roadside some distance ahead.
Only Valentine knew of this creature... a terrifying Astral Dreanought, slain, had crashed to the ground. The group speculated as to how this immense creature was slain, and by what, as they made a hasty retreat further south.
Another days travel south and the party is getting close to Candlekeep. A small town is visible ahead, and a large group of humanoids praying for bountiful crops and drought to be ended can be heard.
Amidst the group is a pyre of sorts, where a young girl is tied...
