Demetrius the Wise recalls the destruction of the Great Library of Alexandria. Sigma Shukran, his brilliant yet impulsive student, steals the sacred Book of Khemetic Dissertations. The library's defenses react violently, destroying the library. Demetrius feels responsible for Sigma's actions and sets out on a journey to find and save him.
