In Part 1 of this two-part conversation, Daniel sits down with Flat Earth Dave to discuss the flat Earth versus round Earth debate and explore a wide range of related topics, including flight paths, atmospheric pressure, the moon, NASA, Antarctica, and the nature of direct observation. Dave shares how he connects these ideas to his worldview, and the conversation remains open and exploratory throughout.
This episode marks new territory for the podcast and is part of a broader inquiry into belief, knowing, and how we arrive at our understanding of the world. Regularly scheduled content will return soon. Part 2 continues the conversation and will be available shortly.
Dave's bio:
David Weiss, known as Flat Earth Dave, is an American podcaster and speaker who advocates for the flat Earth perspective. Originally from the East Coast of the United States, Weiss left a successful corporate career to pursue his interest in alternative theories. He began by hosting a conspiracy-themed comedy show in New York City, which led him to explore the flat Earth concept. Initially skeptical, his research convinced him of its validity, prompting him to dedicate himself to sharing this viewpoint. Weiss is the creator of The Flat Earth Podcast and the Flat Earth Sun, Moon & Zodiac Clock app, tools he uses to present his ideas and encourage others to question mainstream scientific narratives.
