Today's tip is...
Easily improve your guitar plane with four new, yo-guitar videos.
I've been hard at work this summer filming fresh content for the yo-guitar video library,
and I'm excited to share it with you.
In this episode, I talk about four brand new videos designed to help you deepen your yo-guitar
(01:44):
practice and stay connected to your body and breath, which will ultimately help you
your guitar plane.
Whether you're looking to relieve tension in your neck and shoulders, support your arms
and wrists, or ground yourself with mindful breathing and a short guided meditation, there's
(02:04):
something here for you.
Listen on to hear how each video can support your plane and overall well-being, and get inspired
to find the practices that work best for you.
As always, a big shout out this week, and thank you to our fellow guitarists joining us

Let's dive into these new videos.
The first video I want to talk about is the new one for your neck and shoulders.
In this video, I introduce new Asanas to help release the tightness in your neck and shoulders.
These Asanas can be done seated either on the floor or in a chair, or they can be done
(03:31):
standing up.
The Asanas in this video will help you loosen up the tense muscles in the back sides and
front of your neck, which will help with your playing, but also will help with your singing
and some Asanas to unwind the knots in your upper shoulder area.
(03:52):
In the new arms and wrist video, I again introduce new Asanas to help limber up the upper and lower
arm muscles, while also giving your wrists the stretching they need to help produce great
sounds on your guitar.
These Asanas can also be done seated or standing.
(04:12):
The new breathing video is a practice that can help unwind your mind and settle your nervous
system.
Breathwork is a great pre-plained session routine, but these are also awesome anytime you feel
stress.
And the fourth video is for a new category I've created, Meditation.
(04:36):
Meditation is present moment awareness and is designed to help you forget about everything
else in your life and focus on the here and now.
These meditation videos will be between 5 to 20 minutes.
All you need to do is sit or lie down and listen to the cues.
(04:58):
The first meditation I've created is a 10 minute body scan.
And let me tell you you're going to love this.
It will set you up for a wonderfully relaxing playing session.
You can find these new videos in the neck and shoulders, arms and wrists, breath and meditation
(05:19):
collections.
Or just go to the newest videos collection because you can always find the newest releases
there.
Even if you're not yet a Yo-Guitar Video Library subscriber, don't fret, pun intended, you
can easily get started with our 7 day free trial.
