Welcome to the March 2025 Tips for Guitar Plane Success Podcast newsletter, where I'll
share information about this month's episodes and other cool guitar news.
Let's jump into the March episodes.
March brings all sorts of fun and interesting things, including St. Patrick's Day, the
(02:08):
first day of spring, and women's history month to name a few.
So this month I thought it would be fun to feature Irish songs, springing into a new
"Yo Guitar" video, inspiration from a female guitarist, and more.
In the first episode, I'll walk you through a couple of fun Irish songs for you to play
(02:32):
on March 17th.
The next episode will be focused on my newest "Yo Guitar" video.
It features a sonnest to bring a little spring to your playing on your strings.
Then in the third episode, I'll dive into the background of a groundbreaking female guitarist
(02:52):
in honor of women's history month.
And in the fourth episode, I'll talk about how to spring your mind into action with my tips
for memorizing a song.
You can tune into these episodes wherever you listen to your podcasts, or you can find
it at my website marleneesmusic.com.
(03:16):
New episodes drop on Thursdays.
And as I mentioned last month, beginning in April, you'll be able to watch tips for guitar
playing success episodes on YouTube podcasts.
It will be the same great content, but in a video format, the first episode will air on
(03:39):
April 10th.
So stay tuned!
In the Guitar News, last month I mentioned the new Bob Dylan biopic, a complete unknown,
which I saw and loved.
The actors did a marvelous job.
The storyline was interesting and of course the music was fantastic.
(04:01):
This film reminded me of Echo and the Canyon, a documentary style movie about the music
life in Laurel Canyon during the 1960s.
Jacob Dylan, son of Bob Dylan, hosts and chronicles the stories that emerge, including spontaneous
music collaborations of well-known and quite talented musicians.
(04:27):
The movie parallels interviews and a current day concert featuring songs that are discussed
in the film and they are performed by contemporary artists.
It's a gem and can be found on streaming sites such as Prime Video, Fubo, and more.
(04:48):
And a couple of reminders, don't forget to join our Guitar Tips community.
Our next jam session in Open Mike is on March 20th, so join today to be a part of our music
making fun.
The Guitar Tips community link is in the show notes.
And be sure to check out the YogaTar Video Library.
(05:12):
It's a great resource to help you alleviate tension and improve the flexibility in your
tendons and muscles that are crucial for playing guitar.
No Yoga experience needed.
Try it for free at the YogaTar link in the show notes.
So be sure to tune in and listen to the new March Podcast episodes.
(05:38):
I hope this episode's tip has helped you to continue expanding your guitar playing skills
and knowledge.
