They're great for improving your posture, relieving stress, and boosting your energy.
And if you're a singer, these poses are especially helpful for enhancing your vocal abilities.

So let's dive into this new YogaTar video.
You know, the human body to some degree operates on autopilot, the heart, and lungs in particular.
(02:54):
If you think about it, they function 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year, rain
or shine, no matter what, they're doing their job.
We don't have to think about it, it just happens all the time.
Blood pulsing in and out of the heart, being oxygenated by the lungs, and continuously
(03:17):
distributed throughout the body.
This new video is about showing those organs some love as well as creating a more relaxed
body, better posture, and opening up those vocal cords for singing.
In this YogaTar practice, I guide you through poses targeting the upper front body and throat.
(03:41):
It's a seated practice so you can either sit in a chair or on the floor.
These poses are intended to relax and expand the muscles and tendons.
Plus, you'll notice increased activity in those life-sustaining organs and throughout your
body.
We always begin by settling into our practice with mindful breathing techniques.
(04:05):
Then, I introduce gentle movements for the upper part of the front of your body, heart
center and upper chest.

your stretches and improve your posture.
As the video continues, I guide you through a powerful pose that can wonderfully prepare
your throat and vocal cords for singing.
All of these poses are intended for everyone to be able to access and achieve.
(05:17):
That's why I give you cues and information to safely guide you in and out of each pose.
I also include options to help you listen to your body while enjoying the benefits of your
practice.
