Thank you.
Let's hop right into some spring songs.
I thought it would be helpful to share these Easter songs and also a Passover song.
I've shared these songs in past episodes so I thought we'd revisit these tunes so you
(02:24):
can musically celebrate the season.
Back on April 14th, 2022, I talked about how to play a couple of easy peasy Easter songs.
Here comes Peter Cottontail and Easter Parade.
Both songs are well known and usually inspire people to sing along.
(02:45):
Here comes Peter Cottontail is a must play if you have young children in your life.
Easter Parade, the title tune from the film of the same name, is one that's enjoyed by
all but likely most familiar to adults.
Both songs are played with just a few basic chords and a simple strumming pattern.
(03:06):
So you'll likely be able to play these right away.
The link for this episode is in the show description.
Hey everyone, I'm super excited.
We've been really busy here in my studio getting ready because in April we'll be launching
tips for guitar playing success on YouTube podcast.
(03:28):

in video format.

to us guitarists but I'll be able to show you what I'm talking about too.

The link is in the show notes and let's make some music magic happen.
The next couple of songs I think would be great for you to play are from the April 6th,
2023 episode.
They celebrate the religious meanings behind both Easter and Passover.
(04:39):
Christ the Lord has risen today and day on new.
Christ the Lord has risen today is often sung at Easter services.
The Passover song day on new is traditionally sung during the satyr dinner.
Both songs are simple to play with a basic strum.
The chords are pretty basic too so I think you'll be able to play these songs pretty quickly.
(05:03):
And of course feel free to add any rhythm patterns you like to play.
The link for this episode is in the show description.
Another couple of songs I think you'll enjoy playing are from the episode on March 28th,
2024, where I talk about the Easter songs, joyful, joyful weed, ador thee and morning
(05:26):
has broken.
These songs are played with just a few basic chords.
The former has three chords, the latter four.
A basic strum is nice with these songs but I personally prefer them with picking patterns.
Particularly morning has broken.
These are just my suggestions.
Please play around with your music to decide how you'd like to bring them to life.
(05:49):
I put the link for this episode.
You guessed it.
In the show description.
Alrighty, hop to it, grab your guitar and jump in to playing these songs.

(06:10):
and knowledge.
