Today's tip is, unlock your playing energy with my new Yo Guitar video.
Playing guitar is a lot more fun and definitely easier when your mind and body are relaxed
and open to creativity.
In this new Yo Guitar video, you'll release tension and stuck energy so you can strum and

(01:43):
sing with more freedom.
In this episode, I'll describe the newest Yo Guitar video.
It's the second Sun-Sciutation practice that I promised you.
Just like the first Sun-Sciutation video, I'll guide you through 12 asanas, Yoga postures,
paired with breathwork.

(02:04):
But in this video, you'll notice a couple of posture changes, so give it a try and see how
it compares.
This is always a big shout out this week and thank you to our fellow guitarists joining
us from New Zealand, Ghana, Nepal, and South Korea.
Before I jump into this episode, can I ask you for a quick favor?

So let's dive into the new Sun-Sciutation video.
I thought it would be fun for you to hear the Sanskrit words for common yoga poses.
So as I'm describing this sequence, I'll include the English and Sanskrit names.

(03:17):
This Sun-Sciutation video includes a wonderful and very easy to do asana, child's pose, or
bhalasana.
Now, if you've already enjoyed the first Sun-Sciutation video, then you know there are 12
poses and all.
Some are standing up and some are on the floor, all with mindful breathing as you move in

(03:40):
and out of each asana.
The combination of movement and harmony with your breath is the reason you feel so much
beautiful energy at the conclusion of your practice.
Your releasing tension, limbering, numerous muscles and tendons all while stimulating blood
flow.

(04:05):
And it's good to experience varying Sun-Sciutation practices, which is why I've created
this second Sun-Sciutation video.
And right now, I'm filming a third one.
My intention is to give you a variety of sequences to experience because you may discover that
you're in the standing mountain pose or tadasana.

(04:29):
Next you'll fold or bend forward or utadasana and then move to the floor on your hands and
knees for tabletop or bar minasana.
By the way, it's nice to have a blanket handy to place under your knees in case you have
sensitive knees.
But don't fret, ha ha, you won't be on your knees for very long.

(04:51):
Next you'll relax into the child's pose or bellasana before moving into downward facing
dog or autimocus than nasana.
Then back to standing poses before finishing in mountain pose or tadasana.
This entire sequence of movements is repeated two more times before winding down.

(05:14):
Then when you're ready to enjoy the fruits of your practice, grab your guitar and play.
Notice how this energy that you've created in your body translates to your guitar clean
session and music.
Subscribers, you can find this video in the Yogitara Video Library in the Sun-Sciutations

(05:36):
category and it's also in the newest videos category.
And if you're not yet a Yogitara Video Library subscriber and you'd like to give this Sun-Sciutation
Video a try or any of the other practices in the Video Library, you can try it for free
the link is in the show notes.

(05:58):
So when you're ready, hit play on this new Sun-Sciutation video to learn how you can easily
unlock your guitar playing energy and flow.
Namaste.
I hope this episode's tip has helped you to continue expanding your guitar playing skills

(06:19):
and knowledge.
If you'd like to learn more, please check out the many learning resources available at marleneesmusic.com.
Thank you for joining today's podcast and as I like to say, play on.
