(00:00):
Well, dogs out of the bag, you know that feeling.
Jaws so tight you could crack a walnut.
Can't even chew your glizzy all the way.
Shoulders trying to become earrings.
Brain running like APC from 1998.
Trying to run the newest editionof Overwatch 2.
That's been me for months. My baseline stress level has

(00:21):
been stuck somewhere between my parents are checking my report
card and I'm the main character in a horror movie and I just
decided to go check the basements.
You know, being that fun the thefun dumb blonde girl that always
gets people killed in horror movies.

(00:41):
It's that constant low grade home of anxiety that just
bleaches the color out of your life.
It's a thief. It steals your focus and your
joy and your ability to just exist.
Bestie. OK.
Chronic stress isn't just a mood.
It literally rewires your brain, kicks your immune system in the

(01:02):
teeth. Yeah.
That's not just a call from allergies.
OK. And we all just seem to not and
accept it as if. Yeah, that's just called being
an adult. What?
But what if it's bullshit? What if the answer isn't some
$1000 Wellness retreat that somebody on TikTok is trying to

(01:23):
make you buy through their TikTok shop?
You know who you are, but it's hiding in plain sight on the
Internet. Specifically Reddit, a place
that holds both the key to enlightenment and the most
unhinged advice you've ever seen.
And the subreddits for stress and anxiety are overflowing with

(01:47):
a so-called life hacks. Some sound like they're straight
from a neuroscientist lab, whileothers sound like they're made
by Chet GBT. Don't don't come from me AI, OK?
And while others sound like theywere invented by a guy named
Kyle after three months and a vape pen.

(02:08):
Yeah, he's probably financing that STI that you keep seeing at
work. OK.
And that's what got me thinking,is any of this stuff legit or is
it all just a giant collective placebo?
There's only one way to find outand I'm going on a quest bestie

(02:29):
and you're along for the ride. A deeply scientific quest.

(02:52):
I'm turning myself into a human lab rat to put the most popular,
most viral, and frankly most bizarre stress hacks from Reddit
to the test. Let's do it, bestie.
We're going to be a test worm. Drop.
Drop the rat idea. What we're going to be a test
from. Look, it's you and it's me.

(03:13):
Let's go. But it claims you can basically
delete stress with a breathing trick that Navy Seals use.
No, not the the animals in water.
The the humans that are in watera lot.
They also say they like you dunkyour face and ice water.
It'll hard reset your nervous system.

(03:35):
Is that real? Apparently I'm going to be
finding out. OK, but no, we have to do this
right? I took a certified stress test.
By certified, I mean I had my platypuses making sure that it's
real and not AI generated. It's through the perceived test

(03:56):
stress scale, which is a classictool psychologists use to put a
number on how overwhelmed you feel.
My score was a little spicy, a little bit of a 28 out of 40,
which, you know, we're OK. We're hanging in there, bestie.
All right, so for the next 30 minutes, I'm going to be trying

(04:18):
Reddit's top stress hacks because who has time for three
days? This isn't Mr. Beast, this is
tired Gato, and we're going to see if we can drag that number
down. This is either going to be a
game changer or a total waste ofice and Reddit stories.

(04:39):
And no, not not the ice that's happening in South Texas.
OK, I'll test 1 hack each day and at the end I'll retake the
test to see if it's a bunch of an ominous strangers on the
Internet have actually cracked the code.
Let's do it. Let's do this.
The typical advice of just relax, try not to worry, just

(05:00):
don't think about it. Don't let them get to you.
That's fucking useless. It's like telling somebody on
fire to just have you thought about not feeling so warm.
So that's the appeal of Reddit. It's people sharing what
actually worked for them. It's step by step.
If it was that easy to just relax, bitch, you wouldn't think

(05:20):
we would have done it already. No, we need a blueprint.
We need that shit written out. So I dug through the community
anxiety, self improvement, life hacks, blah blah blah, and I'm
picking the most upvoted and whatever it is, we're going to
talk about it. OK, We picked three of them, so
let's get into the first one. And I shit you not, I literally

(05:41):
had my key light. It keeps turning off and it's
stressing me out. I hate, I hate rechargeable
fucking technology like this. I hate that we've evolved as a
society to where we got rid of motherfucking batteries or we
got rid of like, easily replaceable batteries.
But it's bad for the environment, bro.

(06:02):
The same artist that you're watching or listening to, they
literally weigh so much environmental, like, fuel.
Like, have you seen Taylor Swift's, like airplane?
Yeah, you open that motherfucking box of worms, have
you? You don't remember the airplane
tracking any of them? They don't give a fuck.
They don't care. Let me have my key light that
won't turn off. I'm trying to make a stressful
video less stressful and I'm getting tested.

(06:25):
Anyways, let's read the first top 1.
So when you search stress hacks on Reddit, we go what is a
realistic way to manage stress? OK, we're going to read it.
We're going to see if the adviceis even fucking useful.
Saying reading through another post on this thread so a lot of
people saying stress ages a person quickly.
I agree and have been grieving and so stressed lately.

(06:49):
Grieving is a very difficult thing.
There is no correct way to do ithonestly.
Yes there are maladaptive ways which means unhealthy ways of
doing it, but the cycle there's no correct way to do it.
And how do you cope with your stress?
Top comments Exercise. We're going to the next one.

(07:11):
Exercise. I would say out of everything
there is, exercise is the best. All stress and situations are
different. There are 1000 ways to manage
it, but the one thing that remains constant is that a
healthy bond leads to a healthy mind which helps everything.
And no bestie, that doesn't meanyou have to go to the gym 30

(07:32):
minutes Monday, Wednesday, Friday, leg and arm days,
Tuesday blah blah blah blah. No exercise is as simple as
getting up and walking around a store, getting up and walking
around the place you live, getting up and walking around
your house, lifting things, cleaning things.
Physical activity is exercise. Don't just hear the word

(07:56):
exercise and freak out. OK All right, following me,
somebody OP, not just somebody OP replied to this comment.
I hear this the most. I will have to try this.
I have degenerative disc disease, and it makes exercise
hard. That's a big fucking plot twist.
But I think I'm going to start small and try to get into it.

(08:19):
OK Pilates was originally meant for soldiers who were injured
and couldn't move from their beds, but still needed to
exercise. So look into that.
Maybe. Today I learned I did not know
that. OK.
Wow. All right.
Yeah, if you have a degenerativedisease, do not just start

(08:43):
lunging or picking up weights. Talk to your doctor, OK?
And I'm sure there's a communityout there, whether it be Reddit
or not, or a different Google search of finding information of
a support group of people that have gone through the same thing
you're going through, even though it seems so selective of
what it is. Someone has a somewhat similar

(09:06):
situation and can offer advice because shit's expensive.
Doctor visits are expensive. So working out, Yeah, it's
actually very, very good advice.Because personally, I've gone
through situations in my life where I noticed that if I'm like

(09:29):
bed rotting or I just noticed, Idon't want to go do anything.
But then once I finally like getup and do something, it's like,
wow, I just feel so much better.Like, yeah, motherfucker, you're
you got to move. You got to be alive to feel
alive. You get to do things that alive
people do. You can't just have your cake
and eat it too. You can't just be, oh, I want to

(09:50):
bedrock. But then I expect to be happy.
Like, no, you're not going to behappy.
Somehow that works. It's called doom rot for a
reason. Or doom scrolling and doom rot.
What the hell? Doom scrolling for a reason.
OK and have you ever played the game Doom?
That doesn't seem like an ideal life to live.
And if it does make sure you refill your meds.

(10:11):
OK Jokes jokes jokes. Medication is amazing for those
that need it. OK so another one, are there any
life hacks for when you are extremely stressed?
I am facing life situations thatare very stressful and the
stress is really killing. I don't want to reveal my
situation but something if it can help.
Edit please no illegal shit thatis so fucking funny.

(10:35):
Like how to do it like illegal shit?
Edit OK that's pretty funny. Google 478 breathing.
I found this simple exercise to be very effective in calming
down in about a minute when I'm on the borderline of a panic
attack. Somebody said eating a couple of

(10:55):
super sour candies during an anxiety attack and distract your
brain long enough to allow you to slow your breathing and start
counting. This has made a huge difference
for me. And there's also something
called a sigh. It's basically a large short.
A large inhale, a short inhale fall.
Oh Oh my God that was such a weird way to read it.

(11:16):
It's a large inhale, a short inhale followed by an exhale.
What? Oh, I guess it helps with like
the uncontrollable like sobbing and crying from like not having
breathing, correct. I see that, I see that.
Do we want to do the 470 breathing technique?
Let me see if that's how how that works.

(11:37):
Let's see. Let's see.
So we inhale for four seconds. We hold our breath for seven
seconds and then exhale for 8 seconds.
Let's not do that right now. Let's not do that right now, but
just write that down Write that down best if you want to do that

(11:59):
478 OK, Also about how supplements 400 milligrams of
magnesium glycinate in a couple of hours before a bit of super
relaxing, but be careful with that.
If you are known to be dizzy andhave fainting spells or just
having low blood pressure or having dehydration issues, don't
motherfucking take that shit. You're going to hurt yourself

(12:21):
very badly, OK? So don't listen to that and
don't fall down the God damn rabbit hole of vitamins.
Buy a one day vitamin, OK? Because if you really needed all
the other extra blah blah blah, you would have had your body get

(12:42):
so sick that it forced you to goto the ER because of how sick
you are. And a medical professional would
have told you, hey, this is happening because you have so
and so deficiency. You need to take this
additionally to your daily vitamin.
See what I'm saying? Don't get tricked, OK?

(13:04):
I truly believe history repeats itself in many, many ways.
And the whole vitamin market. I truly believe that was the
old. I mean, I guess for who what age
you're viewing this growing up. There's a lot of the
infomercials, right with the thecake with the basketball mold or

(13:28):
sham. Wow, trains, trains, lots of
trains. And don't forget airplanes,
airplanes, lots of airplanes. I truly believe that the
vitamins that are like are affiliated like that.
Like TikTok fucking shop, OK? It's just the old school
telemarketer version of it. Don't fall into it.
You're just giving people fucking money for putting things

(13:49):
in capsules that some of them don't even fully digest in your
body because they're not FDA approved and that's an issue.
OK, Hopefully what you get out of this video is oh vitamins
bad, no vitamins good. Multivitamin, OK Flintstone
vitamin, go for it. But for legal reasons this is a

(14:11):
joke. So let's go ahead and go to the
next one called Your Best Anxiety Hacks.
Oh shit, I'm I just realized I got to have to put my face in a
bucket of cold water. Huh.
OK, I hate taking cold showers. OK, I have heard some great and
creative things people do to live with their anxiety and
truly embrace their lives while doing so.

(14:33):
Seeing anxiety as a scared child.
Naming your anxiety. Speaking about your anxiety in
third person, what are some of y'all's best anxiety hacks and
what specifically do they do to help you with your relationship
with your anxiety? OK wow.
We got a really detailed list right here called Happiest to be
here. That's the person who wrote it

(14:55):
for panic attacks. Crying because you got to let it
out. Emergency medication, yes.
Ice pack on my head, neck and chest that I feel like could
cause anxiety for some people. So interesting.
I do understand that that's to like regulate your temperature,

(15:18):
your bodily temperature, becauseusually when you're in that
fight or flight panic, you are heating up OK going outside for
cold air. Don't do that with ice packs.
You're going to get hypothermia listening to Beats on
headphones. Yeah, that's fair.

(15:40):
That there's a lot of guided meditation and relaxing
meditation music. I will never not doubt that one.
Distracting myself on the phone with memes?
Yes. Doom scrolling with the memes.
Zesty doom scrolling. Trying to sleep it off.
Be careful with this one. You know, you know why I'm

(16:01):
saying that. Careful with this one.
For anxiety attacks and gum I fully and wholeheartedly go for
Trident. The original.
I always when I go grocery shopping.
It's only like 298 for a pack ofthree.
A lot cheaper than crying and for my audio stemmers right now,

(16:27):
if you're like washing dishes oryou're driving, I'm holding up
the blue Trident gum pack. If you're not a fan of like
cinnamon or anything and that like style of gums, this is your
go to. It's just the blue Trident
original pack. Beautiful.
And it doesn't really get like hard and weird unless you're
like drinking cold water with it, but then it'll start tasting

(16:50):
like you're chewing A Polly Pocket sweater or Polly Pocket
pants. Do it at your own time, OK?
Water with electrolytes? Yes, very important.
Going on a walk, exercise. See where I'm going with this.
Listening to my favorite music. Sometimes people who find
themselves having to ask Reddit for advice already lost all

(17:11):
interest in their music. So one step at a time, talking
it out with someone I trust and back to.
I feel like all we do is talk toourselves if you're in this
situation because. Yeah, definitely, though try to
reach out to those that you do enjoy.

(17:33):
Ice pack on my chest, head and neck and breathing exercises and
situational or random anxiety, not in attacks.
So they say take a break from mycurrent situation to sit with
the anxiety and allow it to be present.
That's very healthy. It's acknowledging it.
If that's not an option, I try to distract myself as quickly as
I can with things like dancing, sex, talking, walking, phone,

(17:58):
etcetera. Be a little careful with the
with the second one because you can become addicted.
You can use that as a coping mechanism and it will taint the
purpose of it. OK.
You want to be able to enjoy things, not overdo things,
right? And don't like pick your fingers

(18:18):
and stuff. I've been really trying to work
on that. I'm really bad at.
I have like the I got to always like itch or I said that makes
me sound like I have like issues.
But no, I have these like littlelike pucks.
I I need to use them, but they're like little hockey discs
and they're double layered with little baby beads like a

(18:43):
godsend. Made these somebody, somebody
crafted this with love, genuinely.
And you just like can here. Let's see if I can get a little
ASMR. You can.
Oh, yeah. Hold on.
Let's try it again. Oh, dude.
Yeah. And like the beads, like you're

(19:03):
supposed to like, pick out the beads and stuff.
I haven't done it yet. I my issue for that is I just
had them in my room with a tablefull of so much bullshit that I
just forget it. But always remember every step
matters. So, I mean, hell, I could have

(19:24):
not had the opportunity to be able to use these versus just
not taking the next step to put them in an area where I noticed
that I need them. You know what I mean?
Because obviously I'm happy here, so I don't need them.
So yeah. Yeah.
You get what I mean? You get what I mean OK Breathing
exercises, self talk, affirmations and affirmations

(19:48):
very important. You need to check in with
yourself. And telling my brain that I am
safe and I don't need to be anxious right now but thanking
it for trying to keep me safe. Very true.
Because things can be wrong, right?
Eating something easy to digest, mince, gum, water and talking
out with someone I trust. OK, right on, Right on.

(20:12):
Someone said love these. Here's what weirdly helped me.
I started listening to the sarcastic guided meditations.
Is that me? Am I sarcastic guided
meditation? Not the usual.
You are a glooming beam of infinite potential.
More like take a breath until your anxiety to fuck off
politely. Yep, that's me.
Yep Yep Yep, somehow tricked my brain into relaxing.

(20:37):
I guess it's easier to breathe when you feel seen and slightly
insulted. If anybody wants the link, I'm
happy to share it. It's not a cult yet.
We're not a cult yet. We're just a couple of bestie
fellas with a with worms. Ask us about our worms.
Oh my gosh, I feel bad for whoever has never seen the

(20:58):
visual of this. We have worms and a lot of
platypuses up in this bitch. OK, People are talking about
like, certain teas crying. So yeah, we get the general
theme here. So when it comes to anxiety, you

(21:20):
have a lot of different, like, aspects that you have to
consider. You have like the situation,
like they said, anxiety attacks, the constant anxiety.
So it's not really that there's ever a full hack to fully help
you, but there are amazing foundations you need to make for
yourself. So this is our Last Post for

(21:42):
this one right here. It's called beating social
anxiety with five life hacks, five of them.
And then I'm going to put my face in water.
OK, Because that's what you're really only here for.
Probably some weird like some some weird.
I bet people get paid online good for doing that.
But here we are over here on theworm channel.

(22:03):
Tired got to here. OK hey guys, I just wanted to
share some knowledge and personal advice.
If you're dealing with social anxiety, here's some hacks that
could help you start the processto overcoming it.
One, learn to control your breathing pattern.
Breathing isn't any difficult. OK, I'm not going to read all
this. OK?
No, because this isn't what's going to help us.
So this is my first time readingthis, so let me skim it real

(22:26):
quick. OK?
Why do we breathe? Breathing gives us oxygen.
Oxygen is found in your body. You have to your blood cells,
right? Your blood cells need to go pass
through with oxygen, blah blah blah blah blah.

(22:48):
OK, it's really complicated. I'm going to try to keep it as
simple as fuck, right? You cannot have your brain work
without appropriate oxygen levels.
How are you expecting yourself to be able to do anything, even
the things you like, even in thebest situation possible?
Think about it. Think about your actual like a

(23:09):
best day or something that like your favorite food or like your
favorite place to go to. Now think about you holding your
breath every 30 fucking seconds. You're not going to feel good.
You're not going to be able to enjoy your favorite brownie or
your favorite Alfredo chicken baked dish, or be able to go in,
walk your favorite store to see what new pop figures came out.

(23:32):
No, you're not going to be able to because you're not breathing.
So now you're adding anxiety, which is a mental thing, on top
of a bodily thing of wow, I'm not getting oxygen, so it's
going to heighten it. That's why there's breathing
techniques. That's it, That's all it is.

(23:53):
It's just to try to make the situation not 'cause additional
symptoms from anxiety and breathing is #1 because calm
mind is a calm body. You can make calm actions
because we've all made mistakes on anxiety before, OK?
And we don't need to keep going down the loops.

(24:14):
That's why it's important to breathe #2 let's see, let's see.
Imagine strangers as your friends.
Let me just skim it real quick. Actually, let me just read this
one with you. A golden rule I was taught was
to not be intimidated by strangers.
Whether you're approaching someone at a bar, library, or in
public, it's best to picture them as a friend already.

(24:35):
OK, so when you know, you're playing video games and, you
know, like which NPC's to interact with to not have a side
quest versus having a side quest.
See what I mean with that? You know, like the ones that
want you to do like crazy bad things.
They have like the trench coats, they're just suited up and like

(24:56):
mysterious way. Or you have the people or like
there's that lamppost on where you know you have to go board
that ship and you it's just the waters.
You could see like the water andthe winds and you just know
something bad's going to happen. But then there's the other NPCS
where it's like a grandma with like a loaf of bread and a
kitten next to her, but you're thinking everyone has a fucking

(25:20):
trench coat on. OK, that's what's going on.
But in reality, it could have been a best friends that you
never thought you would have hanging with me best.
Do you see where I'm trying to go with this?
So yeah, that's where that I guess that's a way to explain

(25:42):
what they meant by that. Or if you don't play video
games, think about how you don'tjudge a book by its cover.
I mean, of course, make sure you're safe.
Don't fucking, like, walk up to somebody with a knife out.
Like, come on. But yeah #3 reflect on the
situation and outcome. So important because cause and

(26:03):
effect, this world works in cause and effect.
People are creatures of habit. They are just always going to do
what they're used to doing, right?
If you notice yourself not doingsomething that you usually do
and you feel off putted by that, that can also cause anxiety, by
the way, 'cause your body's like, whoa, this is completely
different. You're doing that for a reason.

(26:25):
And what of that reason be for anxiety or whatever the fuck it
is? You got to figure out why.
You got to figure out what did you do beforehand?
What can you do now? What are you doing?
Because what you're doing has tohave purpose, no matter what,
anxiety or not. Yeah, you can overthink this.
You might hate me fit for this if you're now just learning

(26:46):
about this because it might makeyou like mentally spiral and
make you realize like damn, likeI'm just overthinking that,
blah, blah, blah. Got to get over that hurdle.
You, you, you cannot expect to understand yourself if you can't
first face the scariest parts ofrealizing what living is.
And that is, I can just go like this with my chapstick and if I

(27:08):
just throw it at my fucking monitor, it's going to break my
fucking monitor. The same way of, oh, if I'm not
going to go talk to my friends or follow up with my friends,
they're going to think somethingabout me because I'm doing
something different than what I used to do.
Or I'm going to message my friends and we're going to go
hang out and then everything's fine.

(27:29):
You see what I mean? Like every fucking thing, I
could just not upload this videoand then I wouldn't be able to
even talk to you right now. But that's my choice of doing
it. But I'm going to upload this
video. But what I'm saying is cause and
effect what you're, if you do something is going to have an
outcome regardless of whatever. Same thing of if a tree fell in

(27:51):
the forest and no one was there, did it really fall?
Yes, because there are things there.
They don't have to be conscious like humans for it to be there.
Whether it be an Ant or a goddamn other leaf, that leaf
had gets displaced, right? See what I mean?
OK, so we think of the worst runaway, planning to seclude

(28:12):
ourselves from the rest of the world.
But before taking that route, wehave to really ask ourselves,
what's the worst thing that could possibly come out of this?
And also, always remember, if you're dealing with an abusive
parent or in a bad relationship,or you just have people around
you or even yourself, you can beyour own worst enemy, right?
No matter what, they're going tobe mad at you.

(28:33):
So do it anyways, right? Whether it be you lying, are you
telling the truth, are you doingsomething they like versus doing
something you like. They're still going to talk shit
about you either way, so let's just do it right, OK?
And #4 conduct a show and tell. Another fear that causes someone
to back away from another human is being afraid of what to talk

(28:56):
about. What the question the other
person's interest and calculate how long they would keep the
conversation going before reaching the big silent moment.
We're not going to have topics ranging in our head like Google
does with surgeries. Oh, it's just about like, let me
scroll it down a little. It's about realizing that you're
nothing can be perfect even if you like script things out.

(29:17):
Like I've tried scripting so many videos out.
Dude, it's in it just it's not it.
Let's it's called being human. We are not technology.
And remember, technology would be nothing without the human
brain. And the human brain has its
quarks and flaws that makes technology what it is.
So you're not technology, but technology needs human brain.

(29:41):
So you're going with us. You're fine.
You you won't be perfect. OK?
Even technology isn't fucking perfect.
Let me correct myself real quick.
Let's see. Let's see, you can bring in a
third party to help. It could be an app on your
phone, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah of way to like, I guess
like those board games where it's like like asking a question

(30:08):
you like. It's like a card and ask a
question. It makes everybody else talk.
That's what they're trying to say.
But also, if you find you can't talk to anyone else because
sometimes you're just that dark in the motherfucking hole of
anxiety and social anxiety and stress and all this bullshit
that controls the mind that is super complicated, but it's real
and it's happening. You have a phone, right?

(30:28):
You have to have a phone or a tablet or anything right?
Pull up a voice memo app, get it, it's free record it and just
fucking start talking. You don't even have to re listen
to the recording at all. You do not have to.
That is not your obligation. That is not what I'm asking from

(30:50):
you, because that's a little aggressive and that'll make you.
I don't know about you. I don't even like listening my
own voice back. So that's also an angle I'm
coming at when it, when it comesto this part of the advice.
But just fucking talk about, talk about like how shitty your
day was. Talk about something that you're
so stressed out about verbalizing it and putting it in

(31:13):
the universe. Because when it's in your head,
it only exists to you. And you want to connect, right?
I want to connect. I want to get to know you.
People deserve to get to know you, but people can't get to
know you if you don't know yourself.
Talk it out, then immediately delete it right after.

(31:36):
You'll start unlayering yourselflike an ogre or an onion and
start realizing why you feel a certain way when something
happens. You'll start acknowledging
trends that you couldn't see because it was never put out in
the universe, because it was allin your head.
Not saying it didn't exist, right?

(31:57):
I'm just saying it was in your head because there's no one to
talk to about it. And it'll allow you to feel more
comfortable with yourself to be able to want to talk to other
people. OK?
You cannot. Just don't get me wrong, you can
just jump in the deep end and just get it taken care of, but
it's not always that fucking easy, all right?

(32:18):
Not at all. Sorry.
I got like a little pop up, go away.
OK, Thank you. Not you don't go away the little
pop up. OK And the last one number five
volunteer or attend a social community already.
I already know every single one of us is not going to do that.

(32:39):
I don't blame you because a lot of people that do that shit are
doing it because they have the community service jail time
shit. But however, you can always
anonymously go online, whether it be you're on Club Penguin, if
they even reopen that or a YouTube comments or Reddit
comments or posting even on a throwaway account that's showing

(33:01):
up. OK, that's as useful as that OK
until we can figure out what we do enjoy and be able to show up
for that and that's what I did. I made myself uncomfortable by
because you're, you're never going to be ready for doing this
part by the way, like #5 you will never be fully ready, but

(33:21):
you have steps to be able to make yourself not get as
emotionally adept and be able toenjoy yourself through it.
OK, that's where I'm trying to get up.
I slowly was working on myself, blah blah, blah blah blah.
I went, fuck it. I went to go to a convention.
I've always wanted to. I've always had an interest of

(33:44):
watching things like that or seeing events of people are just
all hanging out and enjoying hobbies together.
There's this thing called San Japan in San Antonio.
They do it every year for the past like 14 or 17 years.
Don't remember but it's fucking amazing.
I went for the first time ever last year.
Changed my life. Top 4 best decisions I've ever

(34:06):
made in my life. I would never know over half of
who I am now since a year ago and that sounds absurd and
insane to even claim that because oh, she's just talking
on social media so everybody makes their lives look like it's
better than not. No, I'm being dead ass serious.

(34:27):
It has changed my fucking life. I've learned so much about
myself, so much more about people, so much more about
different hobbies, so much more about just organization and
everything. Even even though a lot of the
things I would never be a part of, like there's certain groups
and stuff that aren't my thing, but I appreciate watching and

(34:49):
talking to people and seeing thepassion because that's just what
I enjoy. I enjoy people being happy and
showing emotions and all that type of fun jazz.
And it allowed me to wow, like, see the world for what it really
is, not some weird sad social media shit.
Because a lot of times the sadness and the sadness

(35:11):
outweighs the happiness when it comes to clicks and likes and
views. Because it's more intense.
And people chase that, right? Because you don't see it in life
that much. But the world isn't as sad and
as bad as the Internet makes it look out to be.
And that's what I think they're trying to go with #5 So let's
read it. One of our children.

(35:33):
The odds of us dealing with social anxiety came very rarely.
When we're packed with over a dozen people our age.
It's easy to find common groundswith someone.
It helps us when we're part of acommunity as shared interest.
It's only when we become adults and graduate from college when
life becomes difficult at makingfriends outside of work.
So find local volunteer events in your neighborhood and meet

(35:54):
new people. So yeah, obviously a lot of
communities now are in a no walkcommunity.
So doesn't really apply for now nowaday, depending on where
you're from, right? But look at local events,
whether you have Facebook, you just search on Google, go like
events near me this week. And sometimes there's even like

(36:17):
websites depending on your city or your state that shows like
the upcoming the entire year catalog that they continuously
update. And like, if you go to like, a
Community College, which you don't have to be enrolled in
classes to get a Community College e-mail to get free
tickets to events, cough, cough, cough, to like, get like free

(36:41):
art ticket or zoo ticket like stuff.
Yeah, it's really exciting. Stop coming on that one.
I'm not anxious around strangers, only around people
that I know or have to deal withevery day.
Sounds like you have shitty people around you.
I really fear rejection by people that I might become
friends with. So #2 doesn't work for me.

(37:02):
I guess I'm more scared of beingjudged by people that I know,
the random strangers just like you.
That's because the you're tryingto impress people that probably
never showed that they were impressed by you.
So you're like constantly tryingto fill that cup, trying to be
like, no, I want that attention.I want that I like, I, I want

(37:23):
that validation that I'm accepted.
And that's all that is. That's literally all that is not
saying that it doesn't mean anything because I feel that a
lot. You feel like you have to step
up to the plate a lot, man. The biggest relief once you
start, once you just made a video about this, about toxic

(37:45):
motherfucking friends. If you feel this way, cut one of
them out. But it's the whole group and
blah blah blah. They, this group and dynamic
will always have a butt of a joke person.
And unfortunately if you don't find yourself connected, either
they're doing it on purpose or they literally are not at all

(38:05):
reaching your expectations of a friend.
And that's perfectly fine. No one can tell you you can't
have your own priorities and expectations.
OK, That's like the whole purpose of life.
It's yours. It's you get to pick your load
out, you get to pick your hobbies, you get to pick your
interest. You, you get to pick your
fucking soundtrack. Why can't you pick your NPCS?

(38:27):
Bro, come on. The fuck the hell Sounds like
they're trying to get their own expansion pack and overtake your
server. We ain't doing that, bestie.
No, it's your damn body, your damn brain.
OK. And the worm, though, you have
to have the worm that you you know, you got to ask people
about your worms, that those will always be a part of you

(38:49):
too. OK.
OK, let's see. Let's see.
I think that might be it. I think I got a now.
I think I got to do the sad thingy.
The sad thingy of the pain. Let's take a look.
Let's take a look. Also one thing if you notice

(39:14):
that like you're finding yourself an actual like Oh my
God, I can't do anything. There are the 54321 thing.
I know it sounds fucking dumb, but if you're actually like wow,
am I going to die anxiety 5 things you can see say it out
loud, 4 things you can feel three things you can hear, two

(39:34):
things you can smell and one thing you can taste.
You do not have to remember that.
All right, OK, all you know is 54321.
You know all your senses. Just start from 5:00 and work
your way down based on each sense that you remember that
comes at the top of your head. Because honestly, the fact you
can count down from 5 to 1 having an anxiety attack, that's
better than most. OK, it's a really hard thing to

(39:57):
do. So let's get what?
Let me go get this water real quick.
Let's see if. This, this will work.
OK, let's see. Let's see.
OK, I don't know why I'm doing this.

(40:20):
I guess if the past 40 minutes didn't work out, not me checking
to see if it's actually recording because I'm not doing
this again. But it's also a good test to see
if my my face powder will withstand the Texas heat.
OK, let's try this. I got to be like really stressed

(40:41):
out and anxious. What am I thinking about?
Overwatch competitive CS go, turning mic on and hearing
female voice, someone trying to car crash into me, but then
honking at me and flipping me off when they're the ones that
didn't use a blinker. I'm actually really stressed.
I don't want to do this. OK, ready.

(41:03):
Let's see. Let's see too long, didn't read
the shit fucking sucks. Life sucks, but people make it
better and you've made a better bestie.

(41:24):
OK, we got to hang out this phone call because I am
dripping. That's what she said and yes, I
am crying, but I love you bestie.
Be safe. Don't forget to feed your worm
and pet a platypus today. Let's go ahead and end this

(41:45):
call. Love you bestie.
Bye.
