What if five minutes a day could transform your spiritual life? On this special Pi Day episode, we’re dishing out a Friday Flashback packed with powerful declarations to reshape your mind and your spiritual journey. From Zechariah’s lesson on speaking faith over doubt to unlocking the science of neuroplasticity and rewiring your mind to think like Jesus, we offered plenty of revelation and practical exercises to get you thinking and speaking in the right direction!

We explored how persistence fuels breakthrough, why your experience will rise to the level of your declaration, and how simple declarations like “I am getting stronger every day” can spark real change over time. And we clarified that, no, there’s no actual cussing on Today’s Kus Word — just squeaky clean, five-minute FREEDOM-bombs to keep deception at bay. Remember to keep saying those Kus Words over the weekend, and I’ll see you on Monday!

Michele (00:00):
It's Friday, March 14th , Pi Day, and this is Today's
Kus Word.
Welcome to Today's Kus Word, your five minutes a day, five
days a week, inspiration blast.
Join me, Michele Kus, yourspiritual growth coach, every
Monday through Friday, as I dropon you some piping hot freedom

(00:22):
bombs.
Yeah, you see what I did there?
It's really Pi Day today.
I never even knew about such aholiday until my daughter, who
started out as a chemistry majornow she's an atmospheric
science major used to celebratePi Day at her high school.
Pi is spelled P-I and it standsfor 3.1415, the number that

(00:48):
goes on forever, because todayis 3 slash 1, 4, aka March 14th.
I don't know who comes up withthese things, I'm just the
messenger.
Don't shoot the messenger.
Anyway, happy Friday.
And what a great week ofcontent we had together, didn't

(01:08):
we?
Here's a quick refresher of allthe ground we covered together
this week.
On Monday, March 10th, anepisode called Your Words Are
Powerful, I shared with you thestory of Zechariah and how God
had to shut his mouth so hewould not abort the promise of

(01:32):
his son, John.
Remember that?
And remember that we agreedthat we were going to stop
speaking negative words overourselves.
The Kus Word from Monday wentlike this: The words I speak are
full of faith and trust.
Tuesday, March 11th the episodecalled I Choose to Speak Life.

(01:55):
We talked about the importanceof not just not speaking
negative words over ourselves, but also releasing life,
speaking life, speaking faith, speaking belief with our words
over ourselves.
We want to proactively speakout positive things over

(02:17):
ourselves and others and overthe circumstances of our lives,
and I shared with you thatamazing quote by Dano McCollam,
who said "Your experience willrise to the level of your
declaration".
Man, that is a good truth bomb, isn't it?
And the Kus Word I shared withyou on Tuesday went like this:

(02:42):
My words have the power of lifeand death and I choose to speak
life.
All right.
On Wednesday, March 12th, anepisode called Train Your Brain
to Think Like Jesus, kind of aprovocative title, we talked

(03:03):
about this process of renewingour minds and how it's all about
aligning our thoughts and ourwords with heaven every day, and
we can do this by an act of ourown will.
It doesn't magically happen tous, but we can open our mouths
and speak what we hear heavenspeaking.

(03:24):
God's inviting us to partnerwith him in all areas of life,
and we talked about the power ofthis process of neuroplasticity
in our brain so that we canactually rewire our own brain to
think more like Jesus and lesslike our old self, right, and I
shared with you the incredibleBill Johnson quote where he says

(03:48):
"You know that your mind isrenewed when the impossible
looks logical" Another goodtruth bomb right there.
And the Kus Word I shared withyou on Wednesday went like this:
I am deeply and completelyloved by God, just as I am, and
there's nothing I can do aboutit.

(04:11):
And then on Thursday, yesterday,an episode that I called
Strength in the Struggle, wetalked about the importance of
having tenacity in prayer andhow even Jesus modeled tenacity
in prayer when he had to prayfor that man who was blind in
Bethsaida, not once, but twice.

(04:32):
So it encourages us to keeppressing in, even when we don't
see results right away from ourprayers.
We have to have that grrrr, remember grrrr?
So the Kus Word that I sharedwith you yesterday went like

this (04:46):
I am getting stronger every day in the spirit and I
won't back down.
And I shared with you the TomPetty song I Won't Back Down.
And I know at least one of youout there looked it up and was
listening to it and she I knowwho this person is she sent me a

(05:09):
text message that she wasjamming to Tom Petty that
morning and totally wanted toget a tattoo that says tiny
tears.
Don't get tiny tears, becauseit looks like tiny tears and
then people will ask you why areyou crying tiny tears?
That's just my own personalopinion.
But you know what, you do you, girl, you do you.

(05:32):
Got to share with you one otheramazing text message I got this
week from Toronto, Ontario,Canada, which said, "I try not
to kus.
I think the way that you carryyourself is very important".
Hey, Toronto, I have great newsfor you! There's no actual

(05:53):
cussing on Today's Kus Word.
The irony, I know, it's just adumb play on my last name, but
we are family friendly.
I like to keep it familyfriendly because I know that
there's a few of you that haveyour little ones around when you
listen.
So we definitely keep itsqueaky clean on Today's Kus

(06:13):
Word.
And one more text message I gotthis week.

It goes like this (06:17):
what's uppppp with like five Ps, and
that was sent to me by myteenage daughter.
To you I say, slay queen.
So your job for this weekend isto keep saying those
declarations that I gave youMonday through Thursday.

(06:40):
Keep saying those.
Remember that a declaration aday keeps the deception away.
You like that?
Thanks.
And just a heads up that bothof my girls who are away at
college right now are cominghome for spring break next week,

(07:00):
so I might be a little bit offmy normal schedule.
I might have really shortepisodes or I might even skip a
day.
Lynne, I know you're keepingtabs on me, so just a heads up.
Thanks so much for joining metoday on this Friday Flashback
episode and I will see you againon Monday.
Have an awesome weekend.
