Michele (00:00):
It's so easy to hear something but not really know it
, or to know something in yourhead but have it not really
change you.
We are bombarded withinformation day in and day out.

(00:31):
We hear a truth, we nod ourheads, we may even write it down
and it might even impact usdeeply, but a few days later
it's like it never really sankin.
We gobble up so muchinformation in our culture.
We are swimming in information, but a lot of it leaks out

(01:00):
because our minds just can'thold it all.
So the goal of spiritualformation is not gathering
information but undergoingtransformation.
And transformation does nothappen at the speed of
information.
Transformation happens throughimmersion and repetition and

(01:33):
reflection.
Transformation happens when weare baptized in the truth, when
we allow ourselves to marinatein the truth.
Science calls this processneuroplasticity.
This is the brain's ability torewire itself based on what we
focus on and practice and repeat.
Scripture calls this processrenewing the mind.
Romans 12, verse 2, tells usthis: Do not be conformed to
this world, but be transformedby the renewing of your mind.
That word transformed is theGreek word metamorphoo.

(02:21):
It's the same root word wherewe get our English word
metamorphosis.
So it's not just learning newideas, it's becoming something
entirely new.
So when Paul says in Romans, betransformed by the renewing of

(02:45):
your mind, he is not talkingabout tweaking your thoughts or
consuming gobs of newinformation.
Paul is talking about a deep, supernatural metamorphosis that
rewires how we think, how weperceive, and how we live our

(03:12):
lives.
But this kind of transformationtakes time.
You cannot rush it.
Just like seeds don't grow intotrees overnight.
Truth takes time and space tosink deep from your head into

(03:36):
your heart and spirit.
So give yourself grace andspace in this process.
We live in such a hurriedculture, such an instant culture
, but this deep work continuesover your entire lifetime.

(04:01):
This is a marathon, not asprint.
So, my friend, I gave you a lotof information over the past
two days.
I crammed you with some amazingtruths about who you are, as a

(04:23):
new creation and as a divinebeing.

(04:44):
And if you have not listened tothe past two days, I want you
to go back and find Monday'sepisode called The Brand New You
and Tuesday's episode calledYou Have Divinity in Your DNA.
I want you to get those truthsinto your ears as a foundation
for this episode today.
So today's episode is aboutslowing down, creating space and

(05:06):
marinating in those truths.
We want to let those truthsreshape the way we live and move
and have our being in thisworld.
We want to let those truthswash over us and sink down deep

(05:27):
into them.
We want to move those truthsfrom our head down into our
heart and our spirit.
So this episode is going to bedifferent.
This is meant to be animmersive experience, and you
will get the most out of this ifyou can listen in a quiet space

(05:53):
where you'll be uninterruptedfor a while, and if you can
close your eyes and listen tothis episode with headphones on,
that's even better.
So if you need to go ahead andhit pause and get yourself set
up for the best listeningexperience, don't worry, I'll

(06:27):
wait.
Today is a good day to letyourself slow down, be loved,
and have an encounter with theone who adores you and who is
always for you.
So settle in and take a deepbreath in and breathe out, and

(06:54):
with each breath, imagineyourself stepping out of the
noise of the world and into asacred space, a place where
heaven touches earth.
This is a safe place, a sacredplace.

(07:21):
You have been crucified withChrist.
You no longer live, but Christlives in you.

(07:45):
Galatians 2:20.
You have been crucified withChrist.
You no longer live, but Christlives in you.
Step into a moment of wonder.
Imagine yourself standing infront of a mirror.
But this is no ordinary mirror.

(08:08):
This mirror reflects your trueidentity, your divinity.
As you gaze at yourself in thismirror, your reflection begins
to shift.
You see a glow emanating fromwithin you, a radiant light, the

(08:37):
very presence of Christ alivein you.
Your eyes are filled withwisdom, your heart is filled
with fire.
Your posture is strong withconfidence.
Your hands are open andoverflowing with grace.

(09:02):
You are love embodied.
Every trace of shame and doubtand guilt and self-hate and
unworthiness, every trace isdissolving away.

(09:22):
The longer you linger in frontof this mirror, the more you
look like Jesus.

(09:44):
Breathe.
Now, ask yourself what would mylife look like if I moved
through the world as this person?
How would I speak?
How would I love?

(10:06):
How would I work and care formy family?
How would I live knowing thatthe atmosphere of heaven is not
just around me but inside of me?
Breathe.

(10:52):
Now, in your imaginationstep forward, right into the
mirror.
As you do, feel yourselfbecoming that divine reflection.
You are not just observing thisperson anymore.
You are becoming this person.
This is becoming your reality.
Christ's divine nature is alivein you like a heavenly
electricity, and you can hardlycontain your joy.

(11:17):
Your whole being wells up withjoy unspeakable, because your
overwhelming gratitude overflowsfor this indescribable gift.
Breathe and feel the presenceof God surrounding you and

(11:46):
filling you.
Now, place your hand on yourheart and say this: I have
divinity in my DNA.
Christ himself lives in me.

(12:14):
The fully alive life of Jesusis alive in me.

(12:34):
Breathe.
And in this place, it feelsalmost too good to be true, but
it's true.
So take a moment to just restin this place, sit in the

(13:01):
stillness and the sacredness ofthis moment, let it sink in deep
.
You are not working at this.
You are resting and you'resimply letting the work be done

(13:23):
in you.
Breathe.
Now, when you're ready, gentlyopen your eyes, wiggle your
fingers and toes a little bit.
That helps bring you back intothis present time and space.

(13:44):
Take another deep breath in andout.
Now go and enjoy the rest ofyour day, knowing that you
encounter every moment of yourday as a divine being, fully

(14:10):
alive in Jesus.
