How did you feel when you looked at yourself in
the mirror today? I'm Lina Abujamra, and this is today's
single Christian. I'm often left to my own devices when
I look in the mirror without anyone to tell me
I look okay. I get super critical about the way
that I look. I don't like my hair or my
face or my waist. I've been thinking about Genesis 126
recently where God said, let us make man in our image,

(00:21):
after our likeness. God created us to be his image bearers.
That's a pretty awesome thought. So whether you're tall or short,
big or small, black or white, Western or Asian, God
created you in his image so that even on the
days when we don't see our own value, we're reminded
that when God looks at us, he sees his image.
That ought to change the way we think about ourselves

and everyone around us. We have value not because of
the way we look, but because we are made in
