you is? I'm Lina Abujamra, and this is today's single Christian.
I grew up in Beirut, Lebanon in the 70s and 80s.
Trust me, it wasn't safe. People ask why my family
moved from Beirut to Green Bay, and part of the
answer is that we were looking for a safer place.
But the older I get, the more I realize that
the safest place on Earth isn't a quiet town with

no downtowns. No, the safest place on Earth is right
in the center of God's will for you. In Psalm
91 verse one, God says, he who dwells in the
secret shelter of the Most High will abide in the
shadow of the Almighty. Whether you're in the trenches of
a war torn town or in the middle of a
quiet farmland, you're only as safe as you're sheltered in
the arms of Jesus. No matter where you're headed right now,

make your shelter in the shadow of the Almighty, and

for help to stay in the safety of God's presence.
