I'm Lina Abujamra, and this is today's single Christian. We
all have a voice in our head. It speaks to
us when no one is listening. It tells us things
that we've programmed it to say. Maybe the voice in
your head tells you you're single and it's never going
to change. Or maybe it says you're not good enough,
or pretty enough or rich enough to get married. It
might remind you of your sin and tell you you're

a loser. Sadly, most of us have heard that voice
for so long we don't even pay attention to it anymore.
In Romans 12, verse two, Paul instructs us to be
transformed by the renewing of our minds. For me, that
means changing the voice in my head. Instead of condemnation,
I'm starting to speak the truth of God's love back
to me. Instead of telling myself I'm not enough, I'm

letting God's voice remind me that in my weakness, he's
my strength. God longs to watch over us with His
