Join us for Together on a Journey of Hope as we take you on a spiritual pilgrimage through Rome and the Italian countryside. In this episode, we begin our journey at St. Peter’s Basilica with 30 pilgrims from the Diocese of Greensburg, reflecting on the challenges and blessings that come with pilgrimage.
We explore the deeper meaning of struggle in our faith, drawing parallels between the disruptions of travel—delayed flights, lost luggage, and jet lag—and the Lenten season of prayer, fasting, and almsgiving. Along the way, we visit the historic catacombs of Rome, where early Christians lived, worshipped, and were buried in anticipation of the Resurrection.
We also reflect on one of the earliest images of the Blessed Mother, preserved in the catacombs for over 1,700 years. This journey is more than just a visit to historic sites—it is an encounter with the living history of the Church and a reminder that our faith is built on generations of believers who walked this path before us.
Subscribe and journey with us as we experience Rome, embrace the struggles of faith, and find Christ in every moment.
