Steve’s passion is to bring Jesus into everything he does. A gifted teacher, Steve spends his days crafting sermons, messages, blog posts, and books to encourage people in their walk with Christ. He describes his work as humbling and vulnerable—a soul-baring process that keeps him dependent, expectant, and grounded in Christ. Steve lives in Chicagoland with his wife, Sarah, and their two kids

WSC Woman to Watch: Sheena Marquis

Sheena is a therapist, speaker, writer, and songwriting musician. She has been a pastor, written for women's ministry publications, and shared messages at virtual conferences. Her passion is helping others find hope, healing, and purpose in their lives. Sheena has also written and recorded original worship music, as well as new arrangements of old hymns of the church. She leads worship with power and sensitivity to the leading of the Holy Spirit. In addition to pastoral leadership experience, Sheena holds her LMSW and is a practicing social worker for an esteemed hospital system in North Texas. She is working to gain clinical experience to pursue a future in Christian and Biblical counseling. She currently resides in Fort Worth, TX with her husband and son.
