Depuis 18 mois et sa première prestation officielle sur Marathon, à Paris, en Avril 2018, Fanja a tout mis en place (et ça vous donne une idée de l'abnégation nécessaire pour planifier ça sur une durée aussi longue !) pour réaliser les "minima" (temps maximum à courir) pour se qualifier pour le Marathon Olympique du 2 Août 2020 à Tokyo.
Nous en parlions dans l'épisode 5, l'objectif initial était placé sur le Marathon de Berlin, mais un problème technique a obligé Fanja à se résigner et à s'engager plutôt sur le Marathon de Francfort Dimanche dernier.
Mais comme le dit l'adage, quand ça ne veut pas ... ça ne veut pas ! Après avoir fait le déplacement sur place et après avoir investit totes les économies du foyer, Fanja a connu des déboires la veille de la course. Bien qu'essayant malgré tout de prendre le départ, la qualification était perdue d'avance.
