I no longer have the energy or time for being judgmental or dismissing of my emotions. Too Busy!
Too often I have found myself thinking I “should” feel something different than what I feel. I have also blown off my feelings and minimized them as if they were not true or accurate.
I now choose to draw the information and data my emotions may be trying to give me. Then I can decide what to do with that information.
Ask yourself these questions the next time you feel tempted to judge or dismiss your emotions:
- What brought on this emotion (if you know)?
- What information is it trying to give me?
- What do I want to do with that information?
